Regarding your Jason and Bruce faceoff post — I absolutely agree! But is that factoring in the batarang to the neck? If not, how would you consider that?

Yes I did and I'm gonna go into it bc from what I've seen it's this bit that usually makes people understandably get upset at Bruce but here's the thing that people ignore maybe bc they've only watched the movie version maybe bc they forget either way heres the thing Bruce isn't calm in that scene he's panicked he's stressed Jason starts counting down and Bruce is pleading with him to please stop and he looks so upset as he does and he doesn't turn away as Jason gets to one Bruce screams no and throws the batarang - what Bruce does isn't calculated it's pure panic and impulse and just from knowing what type of person batman is I don't think he was planning on seriously hurting Jason but in his panic he made a mistake which highlights just how stressed he was - and even then he probably planned to get Jason medical treatment he wasn't gonna just let Jason bleed out but Joker explodes the whole building and the last scene in the comic is Batman standing alone in the rubble no Jason or Joker in sight

But why didn't Bruce just letJason kill Joker he's done similar things before right just walked away well there's a few differences firstly there's no way Bruce would make it out of the room before Jason shoots Joker, there'll be no question about it that Bruces actions directly resulted in a mans death, and secondly that's what Jason wants Bruce to do, this whole thing is a test for Bruce, a test Jason knows he will fail, it's closure for him, so he can finally put Bruce behind him and Bruce knows this too that if he let's Jason kill Joker then Bruce would lose Jason for the second time

So we are left with this impossible situation with Jason crying as he counts down to jokers death, the Joker laughing bc he doesn't give a fuck, and Bruce backed into a corner with no good options bc Jason's plan was thought out perfectly the one thing he wasn't expecting was for Bruce to panic and accidentally injure Jason bc it was an accident and then before anything else could happen Joker swips Jason's gun and uses it to explode the whole building
