Jacaerys never let himself have his way with you until your wedding night.
Before that, he’d always cut you off, not letting anything get too far because of his honor. He was so righteous that it nearly made you blind with rage every time he stopped you when you were right there, so close to having him inside of you but stopped every time by his last minute morals.
Jacaerys was a good man and you suffered for it; always being left aching and denied what you truly wanted. But of course, as heir, he knew he couldn’t touch you until your wedding night. The gods, his mother and his reputation frowned upon it. Jacaerys would do not such thing as dishonor you, so he waited.
And waited.
And suddenly, it was the night of your wedding feast and Jacaerys could not bring himself to think of anything expect for you. How good you looked in your gown, the lights seemingly adorning your face.
Marriage looked so good on you that he can hardly contain himself. He grows desperate with each passing minute, strained smiles and polite yet brief words being exchanged with everyone that approaches to congratulate him. A few people even make him laugh and like the future king he is, Jace does not show his true emotions.
He does not show how desperately he wants you, his wife whom he’s denied pleasure so much. He keeps his composure but Jacaerys is suffering, agonizingly and and eagerly awaiting for the sun to go down.
Of course, you take note of his angst and worry that something is wrong with your husband. Or worse—that he’s unhappy to the point where he doesn’t even want to eat.
He hasn’t touched his food since it was brought out and worriedly, you lean over to ask him about his lack of appetite.
You have to admit; you weren’t expecting the response that you got. Words from his mouth that send pure heat through your body and made you feel hot from your heels to your head.
“I am fine, my princess. I am simply not hungry because it is not roast I wish to feast upon right now,” He tells you, and suddenly everything makes since.
Why he’s so tense. Why Jacaerys looks like he cannot wait to leave this damn dinner. And suddenly, your mouth drops into an ‘o’ shape. A smirk slowly adorning your lips because now Jacaerys knows what it feels like. He knows what it’s like to be left waiting, wondering and lusting for the opportunity.
In a way, it sort of makes you satisfied that he has to wait.
Only when the sun goes down is it proper for him to finally announce your fair wells, grabbing your hand and all but dragging you towards your now shared chambers.
Everyone is looking at the two of you, cheering and congratulating you both as you walk though the congregational of people. Friends and allies alike clap Jace on the back and wink at you as your grip on his hand tightens.
With a strained smile, Jace politely nods back but does not entertain their jesting. You’re grateful, because even though what you’re about to do is an open secret, it’s still embarrassing.
Thankfully, there would be no bedding ceremony, Jacaerys way too much of a gentleman to let that happen to you. Instead, it’s only you and him and the flames of desire that grow between the two of you as you walk through the halls.
It burns—it really does. The heat and the longing between you two is almost unbearable as you finally make it behind closed doors, barely locking it before Jacaerys grabs you and jumps you.
You’re surprised, yelping when your husband scoops you into his arms and kisses you without so much as a word.
His hot mouth covers your groans and while it is unexpected, you welcome it.
His kiss is fierce, so passionate that it nearly knocks you to your knees. Jacaerys has clearly grown desperate during the hours of waiting, the future king nearly rabid as he pokes and prods at your clothing.
Never have you seen him in such a way, so ungentleman-like as he drags you to the floor. You don’t even make it to the bed because Jacaerys is so needy, getting you naked in no time while also landing sloppy kisses on your neck.
It ignites an unimaginable fire in your belly to see him so frantic for you. To see him finally give in and want to fuck you like you’ve previously begged for.
Now that his honor isn’t at stake, Jacaerys is not holding back. He’s adamant about what he wants and he wants you; all of you.
You two lay bare before one another and then it’s time; Jace settling himself at your hole and running his cock head against your slick folds.
He’s done this many times before. You’ve been here before, and every time this was the moment that Jace pulled back. Just when he was about to push into you, his sense would smack him in the face and off of you he went.
This was always the stage of stopping but this time there was no return. You found yourself almost opening your mouth, so used to having to beg him for friction.
“Just the tip, at least the tip. Please Jace.” Is what you used to beg for.
Now, it shocks you when he says nothing. Does nothing to pull away, only kisses you so hard it makes your head spin and your lips throb from where he cut it earlier.
He’s so feverish that it hurts, hurts so good to know he finally desires you. To know that this will be the time he doesn’t stop, the time you don’t beg.
Now, it is him that is at his wits ends as he lays his forehead against yours. When it’s time to push himself in, Jacaerys finally speaks. Brown eyes blown from desire, the future king is barely able to hold himself back, but he does.
“Do you wish for me to warm you first, sweetling?” He asks, and it’s not so much as an offer as it is his morals shining through. Jace wants absolutely nothing except to fuck you into oblivion, but he’s kind.
He asks before taking your maidenhood even though he’s shaking at your entrance, will power faltering the longer you contemplate your answer.
He almost cries when he sees you shake your head, breathing a sigh of relief and pursing his pink lips together while nodding. He understands.
“They’ll be time for that later,” You tell him and he’s relived. Back to the mission of penetrating you before you suddenly get an idea, finding yourself stopping him one last time just to be cruel.
“Wait!” You take the role of Jacaerys, and he you as he stares at you with wide eyes. Hungry eyes that are confused and frustrated as you look at him.
“What is it, my love?” He asks slowly.
A crude smirk falls upon your lips. “Maybe we should wait,” You tell him bashfully, loving the way he reels back. The bewilderment in his expression is finally enough to satisfy your revenge for a lifetime, and you want to laugh when he finally feels what you feel. “Maybe we shouldn’tdishonor ourselves this way. We should wait for marriage, you know? That way—”
You gasp to the high heavens as your cruel joke is suddenly cut off by Jacaerys pushing himself inside of you. In no mood to jest, he takes what he wants and finally sheaths himself in your core.
You were being cruel to him, he justifies. Jacaerys is a kind man that does not take lightly to cruelty.
You moan out as pain briefly graces your lower regions and stare at your husband in shock as his face shows all seriousness. Out of all things, you weren’t expecting for him to do that. To take control in way he’d never shown before.
“Do not jest with me, wife. Not tonight of all nights. Do not deny your husband such pleasure,” He growls in your ear as he finally stills.
Still stunned, you simply lay there and relish in the feeling of him on top of you. Seven hells, you have half a mind to cry with relief but you don’t want him to mistake yours tears for pain. It hurts, yes, but not in a way that makes you want him to stop.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite and though you told yourself no more begging, you find that you do it anyways as you wrap your legs around him. Pulling him close so that Jacaerys is really and truly inside of you, just as your husband should be.
“I’m sorry, my love. Please forgive me—I won’t do it again,” You whisper desperately, desire clawing at your every atom. You need him to move, you need him to finish what he started; to complete what you’ve craved for what seems like forever now.
It would only be fair after denying you that pleasure for half a year.
“Good.”
Jacaerys growls this and that is when you feel him start to move, his hips snapping into yours as his lips find your own. You moan as his cock thrusts his way through your unexplored folds, reaching depths and pleasures you never thought possible.
You clench around him and move your lips, loving the way he groans and pants into your mouth. Your legs still find themselves wrapped around his waist, enticing your love to go deeper, faster, harder.
You need him and he needs you.
His strokes are those of desperation, chasing every feeling he had ran away from you. Chasing those previous nights where he had denied you his cock, denied himself of the pelasure that he was feeling right now.
The feeling of you wrapped around his cock was one that was indescribable. If anyone ever asked, which he doubted they would (expect for Luke, maybe) then Jacaerys would simply have to stare at them, mouth open like it was now.
For what could he say, other than his beloved was inciting things from his body that he had never felt before? Providing him with pleasure and ecstasy that took his breath away more than his first dragon ride.
These feelings lifted him higher than that, higher than Vermax souring through the clouds and he screwed his eyes shut as he saviored the flavors of your cunt.
Soft and wet and warm and his prison that he’d gladly rot away in. If Jacaerys could spend the rest of his days inside of you he’d be a happy man. He’d give up the iron throne, burn the skies and every village if it meant feeling your warmth.
He’d do it all.
He would give you his all, steadying his pace so that you might taste the same drops of pleasure he was experiencing. So that you might throw your head back in ecstasy like he did, identical moans leaving the two of you as you came undone.
For you, it came in the form of clenching down on Jace’s cock, crying out as your peak hit you violently. You panted, biting into his shoulder as he did yours and rocking your hips to the sensation.
For Jacaerys, it came in the form of hot spurts, coating your walls with his seed like a good husband should. Like a good king, who would surely need to provide heirs one day.
You were all too willing to compete this task, sucking him in, milking him of his children until Jacaerys had nothing left to give. Until he was an empty shell above you, eyes closed and utterly exhausted as he rolled to the floor beside you.
It took a few minutes for anything expect for your heavy panting to fill the room. Both you and Jace were dazed, still out of it and not quite sure what had just happened. Still experiencing the bliss from your first night of marriage. One, that if anything, indicated that a good marriage was on the horizon indeed.
For you, the night had been everything you hoped for and more. Worth the wait, which you were sure that Jacaerys appreciated now that his honor and his cock reminded satified.
Perhaps the two could co-exist now, you concluded. Staring at your beloved as he turned to face you too, a small smile peaking at his lips.
“Iksin ziry worth se umbagon syt ao pār, ñuha jorrāelagon?” He asked, as shallow breaths overtook his body still. (Was it worth the wait then, my love?)
You grinned as you looked into his brown eyes and eagerly nodded, reminiscing on your peak that had happened only minutes before.
You were still dazed, still hazy but your mind was clear enough that you knew your answer before you uttered it. You loved this man, and you knew that you had made the right decision.
“Kessa, īles worth se umbagon indeed, ñuha jorrāelagon,” You promised softly, using the High Valerian he had taught you. Gazing into his eyes that had gone soft for you. That held love for you and silently promised you that this was it, that Jacaerys would always be worthy of anything till the end of your days. “Kesā va moriot sagon worth ziry naejot nyke.” (Yes, it was worth the wait indeed, my love. You will always be worth it to me.)

Pairing: king! Seonghwa x queen! f! yn
Word Count: 2804
Warnings: cursing, alcohol consumption, smut warnings under cut
Genre: Fluff, smut, royal au, M for mature audiences
Summary: Your marriage to Seonghwa has been nothing exciting. But things change during his coronation ball.
Smut Warnings: unprotected sex (DONT DO THIS unless you discuss safely outside of sex!), some praise, slight begging, pretty vanilla if i do say so myself lol
Written for @cultofdionysusnet's permanent event <3 took me a bit to get it down lol, and a big thank you to @arafilez and @sanjoongie for helping me out <3 i really wrote 1.5k prologue before getting to the smut and u can tell it got to me since the smut is very storybook like and not just filth lol
AND yes i know the irony of having a red themed banner when the title is blue blood but hey man i...have no excuse
-
Your palms are sweaty. It’s the first ball the royal family has hosted since your marriage to the then-Crown Prince, Park Seonghwa. And it’s the first social gathering you’ve attended since. You’re pretty sure the maids can see how nervous you are and you’re grateful the wine-red gown you’ve adorned for the occasion will cover any sweat marks or wrinkles you’re sure you will make.
You cannot even politely decline this event—not when it’s marking the start of your husband’s reign as king.
As the maids layer one last necklace, you shiver at the feeling of the cool metal touching your skin. The sparks flickering inside the red jewel catch your eye and you brush your fingers against it with a bittersweet smile. It was a wedding gift from your husband, the Park family blessed with fire magic. You find it ironic that such a cold-faced family can have control over such warm and bright magic, as well as red being their crest colour.
You don’t hate Seonghwa, of course. He’s been respectful to you, only speaking to you when necessary and otherwise leaving you be. The two of you share different, albeit connected, chambers, and he never enters your room without permission on the rare occasion he needs to.
But God, you wish he would at least smile at you so you don’t feel like a piece of furniture in your new home. While high up in nobility as the daughter of an Earl, you were no duchess and you were sure if you attended social teas you would be scrutinised. So you stick with counselling the civilians who cannot win an audience with Seonghwa and managing the household.
With another sigh, you send the servants away to gather your wits before meeting your husband in the foyer. You squeeze your eyes shut, breathing deep, before moving to pour yourself a small glass of wine.
As you down the bitter liquid, a knock sounds at the door. “YN, are you in there?” The honey-deep voice of your husband makes you jump a little.
“Ah, yes, I’m coming,” you call out, setting down the crystal glass and opening the door to see your husband standing just a bit too close to the door. You’re met with a faceful of his chest and you stumble back. “Ah–”
A firm hand wraps around your waist to keep you from tripping on your skirt and you can see the faint amusement on Seonghwa’s face. “Now, now, we can’t have you falling even before the dancing starts,” he chuckles, and you stare at him, unused to such a cheerful demeanour from him. His lips twitch as he holds back his smile. “Are you all right, my wife? You look a little befuddled.”
You blink up at him owlishly before realising how you must look and quickly turning your face away. “I’m all right. Shall we go down, then?”
Seonghwa chuckles low in his throat. His hand reaches up and brushes a few strands of your hair out of your eyes. His touch is soft and you involuntarily find yourself melting just a little. “Yes, let’s go and show off my beautiful wife.”
You laugh at that, pushing him away playfully. “This night isn’t about me, it’s about you…my king.”
Seonghwa coughs when you use his new title and it’s his turn to face away from you, although you can see his ears are red. “Yes, well. Let’s get going then. We can’t keep our guests waiting.” He offers up his arm for you to take, and you gingerly rest your hands on him with a small smile, keeping your eyes lowered.
Thankfully the distance from your rooms to the foyer isn’t far as the walk there is awkwardly silent. But as soon as you enter and all eyes are on you two, it’s like a button is pressed that makes you immediately at ease and you intermingle easily with your guests. Waiters are milling about serving a selection of wines, and you drink just a tad more than you ought.
It’s nice to mingle with the courtesans and landowners like you used to, and you make a mental note to start attending tea again. You were anxious about them for nothing—they’ve known you since before you were the queen so they aren’t forming any new opinions of you.
Giggling, you weave your way around the crowd until you bump into a firm back. “Hello, my wife,” Seonghwa hums, holding you steady with amusement dancing behind his dark eyes. “I see you’re enjoying yourself.”
You blame the lingering burn of alcohol in your veins for the following actions. You lean onto his shoulder, a dazed smile pulling at your lips as you look up at your husband. “I am, Hwa.” The nickname tumbles naturally from your lips without a second thought although Seonghwa’s eyes widen for a split second. “Are you enjoying yourself too?”
“I’ll excuse myself, you spend time with your wife.” You hardly even register the minister of defence’s words as you wrap an arm around Seonghwa’s waist and press a kiss to the shoulder of his uniform. “Congratulations on your ascent to the throne, your majesty.”
Seonghwa bows as best he can with you attached to him before turning to you to place both his hands on your shoulders. “Do you need to go to bed? The party is slowing down a bit so you can if you’d like.”
You shake your head, subconsciously pouting. “No, I wanna wait for you first.” Your head leans against his chest and you can hear his heartbeat pick up slightly.
“...Alright. Let’s close this up nicely, YN.”
You don’t really know what’s happening, but you smile and farewell the last stragglers as the time passes. The alcohol is almost out of your system, but you stay close to Seonghwa, not ready to let him go quite yet. His arm around your waist makes your heart flutter and you look up at him as he waves away the last guest.
“Why are you staring at me?” he murmurs without even looking down and you chuckle to yourself, gaze unwavering.
“I like you, Hwa.”
It feels like time stands still as soon as the words fall from your mouth. Seonghwa’s eyes find your own and neither of you move for a long second. “...Are you still drunk?” You would find his question offensive, but his tone is hopeful so you can’t find it in your heart to.
“No, not for this,” you shake your hair and before he can stop himself, Seonghwa brushes your hair out of your face again. “I’m not in love, not yet. But I can safely say I like you. Especially if you keep touching me like this.”
Something must have overcome Seonghwa in that moment because he leans in and his grip on your waist tightens almost imperceptibly. “Well, in that case. I like you too. And I could touch you a lot more if you’d let me.” He practically whispers the last sentence, his lips almost ghosting over yours.
You blink at him, a mirror to just before the party, and a smile grows on your face. “I’d let you.”
Seonghwa straightens up immediately, a light blush dusting his cheeks and he calls over one of the servants and whispers something to them. When the servant nods and hurries off, Seonghwa turns back to you, a wolfish grin growing on his face. “Shall we head back to our chambers, my wife?”
Heat slowly crawls over your face as you nod eagerly and Seonghwa chuckles and cups your face tenderly, placing a kiss on your forehead before taking your wrist and leading you up the flights of stairs in the next breath.
The two of you burst into his room giggling and hands clasped. Seonghwa kicks the door closed and pulls you into his arms, his face buried in your hair as he breathes in your scent. “...You’re sure you’re not drunk?”
His voice is small, and you smile to yourself at the sound of it. Wriggling your way out of his grasp, you bring his slender hands to your lips and press a light kiss to the tips of his fingers. “I’m absolutely sure, my king.”
Seonghwa lets out another deep breath, stepping closer and leaning down to gently press his lips against yours. You taste of bitter wine, but he seems to enjoy it, brushing his tongue over the seam of your lips and you eagerly grant access. The two of you deepen the kiss as he slowly backs you to his bed. When your knees touch the mattress Seonghwa breaks away, his lips swollen and spit slicked.
“Strip?” he asks, his voice gravelly and your thighs clench at the sound of it. You reach behind you, attempting to reach the fasteners but failing. Seonghwa chuckles, spinning you around. “You’re so pretty, YN. I’m glad I get to share my life with you.” His hand rests on your shoulder blade as he undoes each clasp with his other hand.
Suddenly, his lips touch your shoulder bone and you gasp at the soft feeling. “Hwa–”
“I’d like to bend you over right now, but you’re too precious to be taken so roughly on our first time. I want to cherish you like the queen you are.” Seonghwa mouths at your hot skin, his hands moving up and down your sides as your dress falls to the floor, leaving you in your undergarments.
Your hands instinctively come up to cover yourself but Seonghwa’s reflexes are faster than yours and he grabs your wrists, holding you in place. “Don’t cover up, my wife,” he whispers, leaning up to kiss you sweetly. “Let me love you like you deserve.”
You look at him with wide eyes, before nodding the tiniest bit. Seonghwa isn’t satisfied, an eyebrow raising, and you squeak out a quiet “yes”. As soon as the word leaves your mouth, his mouth is reattached to your neck and his hips grind down onto your hip and you can feel his hard-on pressing into your thigh.
“Hwa, please,” you whine, feeling a burning in your core.
“Mmh, love it when you call me that,” Seonghwa murmurs, his hand coming down to unfasten his pants and shoving them down enough to free his cock. “There’s something about you that’s so fucking alluring. All I can think about is fucking you so well all you can do is think about me just as much as I do with you.”
He shifts, adjusting himself so he can grind his cock against your dripping folds and kiss you at the same time. The softness of his lips makes you smile and you throw your arms around him to bring him closer to you. For a moment, both of you are too caught up in your kiss, but then the tip of his dick gets caught in your fluttering hole and you moan into his mouth.
“Gods–” Seonghwa groans, hips stilling. You can feel every time his dick twitches inside of you. “Are you ready? Please–” The last word falls from his lips in a whisper, as if he’s almost embarrassed to beg.
Instead of a response, you hook your legs around his waist and pull his hips flush against you, immediately driving his cock deep inside you. You throw your head back at the feeling of it spearing into you, Seonghwa dropping his head to rest against your chest. “Fuck, you’re so– so perfect for me,” he stutters out, his voice low and heavy with lust. “Want to stay like this forever.”
“Less talking,” you order, twisting your hips to try and get him impossibly deeper inside of you. A crooked smile pulls at Seonghwa’s lips, and before you can say anything else, he pulls back and starts hammering into you like it’s his last day in the kingdom.
You can hardly get words out, only whines and mumbles, his cock reaching so deep inside of you. With every thrust, he hits that perfect spot inside of you and your hands dig into the thick fabric of his uniform top. “Ah– Seonghwa, you’re splitting me apart so good,” you moan, breath hot on his neck.
You swear your guts will be rearranged after this, his thick cock stretching you so perfectly. With every thrust, you can feel your walls squeezing so tightly around him and your hips are shaking with pleasure. Seonghwa’s eyes are trained on the junction where his cock is driving deep into you, mesmerised by the glistening slick covering both of your thighs.
Without warning, his slender fingers travel down your body to press at your clit. A gasp rips its way out of your throat and you moan embarrassingly loud, your hips kicking up. “Seonghwa–”
He leans in, his hand still rubbing small circles on your clit, pressing his lips sweetly to yours once again. “Shit, Hwa, you’re too perfect for me. Treating me so well.”
Seonghwa groans and bites your shoulder. “You look so pretty on my cock, my wife. You’d look so pretty full with me dripping out of you. I should show you every day how much I love you, hmm? It’s what you deserve. A pampered life as my wife, the queen by my side.” His teeth sink into your lower lip and his fingers speed up their ministrations.
“Ah– I’m close Seonghwa,” you moan into his mouth, and you can practically feel him smile against your lips.
With one particularly well-delivered thrust, Seonghwa growls, “Come for me, YN.”
Without much further prompting, just a twist of his fingers on your clit, you groan, back arching and your cunt clenching around Seonghwa as you fall over the edge of your orgasm, your husband following soon after. Ropes of searing hot come shoot deep inside of you and you let out a long sigh at the feeling. Seonghwa rests his forehead on yours as his hips slow to a stop, letting your orgasms wash over both of you completely.
You let your body completely relax on the mattress, staring up at the canopy of the bed. When you were preparing for the party, the last thing you expected was to get your brains fucked out by Seonghwa, but you won’t complain. You breathe out and relax, bringing your hand up to brush your fingers through his dark hair.
“Feeling good?” you ask your husband, and Seonghwa laughs, tilting his head up.
“Yeah. Come on, let’s get my lovely wife cleaned up. I have to change the sheets in the meantime.” Seonghwa gets up, stretching a little, and you can’t help but stare at the sliver of waist you see. You can feel his come dribbling out of you and instinctively you clench your thighs although you know you must get up soon enough.
But before you can even make any move to, Seonghwa leans down and scoops you up, carrying you over to your shared bathroom. “Ah– Hwa–” you scold, gripping onto his shoulders. “My legs work!”
Seonghwa laughs, nuzzling into your hair. “Then I should fix that next time.”
You laugh and smack at his shoulder. “Hwa, no, I like being able to move.”
Seonghwa shakes his head but doesn’t respond, just turning on the faucet and sitting you down in the water. “Is this all right for you?” he asks, and you raise an eyebrow.
“Come sit with me too, Hwa. You should get to relax too.”
“Ah, but the sheets,” Seonghwa tries, but you grab the hem of his shirt.
“We can use my quarters, Seonghwa.” You stare up at him with pleading eyes, and you can see him hesitate. “Please, Hwa?”
And just like magic, your words break down Seonghwa’s hesitation and he sighs, unfastening his shirt and throwing off his pants. As he lowers himself behind you, your hand reaches back to steady him.
As the two of you sit in the warm water, you take a chance and lean back against his firm chest. You can feel him stiffen and your breath catches in your throat, but in the end, he just relaxes and throws an arm around your waist, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
“You know, ever since I saw you on the wedding day, I was happy to have you as my wife,” Seonghwa hums, rocking you back and forth slightly.
You tilt your head up to smile at him sweetly. “And seeing you in your wedding robes looking every bit of a fairy, I was happy to have you as my husband.” Seonghwa leans down to press his lips against yours, brushing your hair behind your ear. You can feel his own smile against your mouth and your eyes flutter shut.
“Let’s stay like this for as long as we can.”

Can You Kill A God? (Azriel x Reader)
Summary: No one will ever forget why you are Death's queen ever again.
Based on another fic I wrote which you can read here
Warnings: Gore, blood, the reader is a little sinister but I love it, SMUT (unprotected sex, breeding kink?, oral: m and f receiving)
Word Count: 2.4k
A/N: I've been really missing Death!Az and Life!Reader recently. Also, I've had an obsession with Get In The Water from Epic the musical and this is what spawned. I did set in Ancient Greece so I did mention a Greek city. Happy New Year!!!
Tumblr media
It started as a petty slight. Some stupid mortal king had said they feared Death more than War, so the god had raged a challenge. Your husband doesn’t normally involve himself in other matters, he had no need.
Eris was irrelevant to him.
Of all the other gods he is the only one who was inevitable, who would be permanent despite all odds. Azriel didn’t even feel the need to acknowledge the God of War, but he had started harming your creations, which was unacceptable in his eyes.
The souls had come into the underworld brutalized, they curled into your lap as you wiped their tears with the gossamer of your gown and told you that they had been sent as a message. You shed your own tears as you escorted them to eternal paradise and Death’s eyes went dark with promise as he cupped your jaw.
Then he prepared for battle.
You had to return to the overworld soon, the last phases of winter thawing into springtime greenery. He would sort this mess out before you leave his protection realm. Azriel gathered his allies and they outfitted themselves for combat. He took care to strap the armor to your chest, the gauntlets on your arms, and around your calves, kissing his devotion before securing every piece of metal. You did the same to him taking extra care to protect his heart.
The sight of you almost sent him to his knees.
There are still flowers wound through your hair, nightshade and belladonna make a deadly crown, and the golden glow that seems to permanently surround you bounces off the obsidian steel of your armor.
The battle had been bloody and long, it felt as if you’ve been here for days. Your dress was torn, the cloth shredded around your feet. Blood covered your entire front, caked and cracked into your skin.
You cannot kill a god.
But that doesn’t make the battle any less gruesome.
Nothing would touch you thanks to Death looming over your shoulder. Every attack that may have hit you was deflected by your husband and vice-versa until the God of War catches onto this little tactic and baits Azriel by attacking you. Az had jumped in front of you, a wall of shadows blasting the God of War back a few feet at the risk of wounding him.
But Death had fallen, red blood spilling sickly and sweet onto the fresh spring grass. It reminds you of a splitting pomegranate as the red seeps out and stains the dirt, every god in the field halts their battle and watches
You fall to your knees in front of him, vines starting to curl around him as your magic begs to erupt from your chest to protect what’s yours. Eris gloats from his spot hovering in the air, laughing at Azriel struggling to breathe around the blood coming up his throat. The thorn vines wrap around Azriel to ward off any who might try to weaken him further as you rise to your feet.
“Flower,” he wheezes around a cracked rattle in his throat, shaking his head and trying to sit up. You shush him gently pouring golden light into his chest that does nothing. You are not the Goddess of Healing, life will never stop death, so Az will have to heal on his own. War still mocks your shushing, your tears, calling your magic pathetic.
The earth beneath you starts to rumble.
You are the Goddess of Life, the Goddess of the Earth, the World Shaker, and you will make every God here remember why you are Queen of the Underworld.
Rising to your feet, the earth grumbles and shudders under the very force of your erratic heartbeat. War made a mistake waging this battle in Sparta, his arrogance will be his downfall. Your entire body shakes with rage as you stare at Eris from his spot in the air.
“Get on the ground Eris.” Your voice rumbles in time with the splitting of the earth and War widens his eyes at the splintering ground. Yet, his overconfidence keeps him hovering out of your reach.
“Go home, Little Goddess” He drawls, “You’ve been beaten.” he spits at you with venom in his eyes—a dark, dark laugh bubbles out of your chest like molten lava.
“If you don’t come down here I will collapse every wall in your city, and kill everyone in it.” You glare up at him, and he laughs shaking his head in disbelief. “Don’t believe me?” You quirk a brow and the rise around the city starts to shake. “Tell me God, what happens when every last worshiper of yours is dead?” His eyes widen in fear then.
Because that is how you kill a god, you force them into the darkness of being forgotten until they waste away like little more than salt in water.
Faster than a breath thorn-covered vines shoot from the earth and surround War kicking and screaming, golden light begins to glow brightly from your eyes as your fury hauls him to the ground.
People seem to forget that Death is the calm acceptance of something coming to an end. Life joins this realm wailing its existence to the stars, Life can be a very violent thing.
You will break him beyond repair, you can’t hear the sounds of Eris choking on his blood, the only noise in your head is the dull thumping of a war drum. He fights back with as much power as he can muster, but you’re barely trembling with the effort it takes to hold him there. The sinister in your smile reflects in his shining, terrified eyes.
How pretty would it be if lilies sprouted from his lungs?
Someone may be calling your name but you can’t hear anything, the tunnel vision threatening to collapse you entirely. You might not be able to kill him like this but regrowing all of his organs certainly would take some time. Feeling the golden power writhe and wrap around his heart, begging you to let it off its leash and crush, but it’s then that you feel the cooling darkness wrap around your shoulders. Death sweeps his chill gaze over War after rising to his feet. You still hold the line firm, one arm shooting out to block Azriel from any further advancement. The light in your eyes still refuses to dim, but Az wraps a hand around your jaw delicately turning your face toward him.
“You’ve made your point My Love,” the steady weight of his hand calms the rising heat in your blood. “It’s time to let him go.” Azriel didn’t particularly care if you ripped Eris apart and scattered him to the seas, but he knew the guilt would threaten to drag you into the abyss entirely. The light dims, and you drop your hand. Eris falls to the ground like a puppet dropped from strings, coughing blood like shiny red rubies onto the grass. You’re only looking at Az, the wash of reassurance running over your body as you finally process that he’s whole–that he’s standing.
He’s alright.
Death doesn’t deign to even look at War as shadows come around you like dark silk, and you’re back in his realm. He finally sags into your arms as he lets the facade drop, the real pain and exhaustion catching up to him. Az thinks you might call for a medic, but it feels like someone is holding his head underwater. The silk of the sheets feels distant against his skin as your hand strokes his face, and he finally lets his eyes slip closed.
Azriel sleeps for four days.
He wakes in your bedroom, your presence absent, but a pitcher of water remains on the bedside table. The armor he’d donned for battle had been stripped from him, replaced by a black chiton that fell loosely around his chest and hips. He chugs half the water in one go as his power reaches out frantically for you, his heart settles when he feels like your golden aura, and he rises to set off looking.
He finds you beneath an ever-blooming willow tree in Asphodel fields, reading animatedly to a group of children, the golden reeds bellowing in the fresh spring air. They scatter as he leans against the trunk, giggling and laughing as they chase each other into the meadow. You’re overjoyed when you see your husband, throwing his arms around him and crashing his lips to yours.
“Are you all right?” You mutter, gently pushing back the curtain of black hair that had fallen into his eyes. You’re so delicate with him, Azriel feels his heart skip two beats in his chest.
“I’m content,” He hums lazily dropping his nose into your hairline, the lingering smell of lilies floods his senses and calms his nerves as it always does. He nudges his nose to your pulse point before biting gently at your fluttering heartbeat.
“Azriel,” your voice reverberates into his chest, twinning heartbeats thudding together. “You’re still injured.” he continues his exploration of your neck, nipping his displeasure at your attempt to coddle him. Your body shudders as he finds a sensitive point, and you can feel his smug smile at your jugular.
“Let me worship my Goddess in peace,” he rumbles relishing in the feel of your skin and the golden warmth of the fresh sun. He drops to his knees in the dirt, pressing devotion into the curve of your knee as your back thumps against the bark of the willow. He smirks as flowers bloom around you in time with your bashfulness, red poppies matching the pretty flush on your cheeks.
“The souls,” You whip your head from side to side as he runs his hands along the sensitive skin of your thighs. He tilts his head in contemplation, hazel eyes reflecting the warmth like molten gold.
You feel his power ripple around you and a blanket of silence covers the area. Everything goes quiet, no birds chirping or animals running through the surrounding forest, even the rustling of the grass in the wind falls silent under his command.
“No one will bother us now,” Azriel muses, continuing his travels, you squirm under his attention as he climbs higher and higher.
“You’ve been asleep for four days,” You barely get the words out as he runs his thumb delicately over the apex of your thighs, enjoying the feel of you under his hands. “You should really eat something,” He growls his frustration as he bites a dark mark on the sensitive skin.
“I’m trying too, if you would stop interrupting me.” His eyes turn almost black as he focuses his attention on your core again, brushing aside the scrap of silk covering you. Az lets out a guttural moan as your scent floods his senses.  He dives in then, feasting on you like he needs it more than air.
He’s wasted precious time with you since he’s been asleep, winter is caving to the sweet spring, but it seems the cold is listening to his prayers and holding on just a little longer. He licks straight to your center, tasting the honeyed sweetness as it floods his mouth. No matter how many centuries you spend together you are always still so responsive to him, you’re twitching and squirming against the tree just about to tumble over that edge when you yank his head away to pull him to his feet. His eyes are glazed over and your slick is dripping down his chin, you haul his mouth to yours tasting yourself on his tongue. All of a sudden his back is against the tree and you sink to your knees before him, tearing at the laces of his pants.
It seems that you’ve missed him as well.
You look up at him through batting lashes, and Azriel strokes his hand along your jaw in adoration. You take him in your mouth and Az feels like molten iron has been poured down his spine, white-hot pleasure blinding all of his senses. Death’s knees begin to buckle under Life’s ministrations, the smug look in her eyes adding to the crumbling of his resolve. He has always laid everything he is at your feet, intimacy is no different. You stroke the rest of won’t fit in your mouth in time with the bobbing of your head and he feels weightless.
Your tongue strokes along a vein on the side of his cock and he explodes almost embarrassingly quickly. It appears that four days had taken more of a toll on him than anticipated. He scoops you into his arms and in a blink you’re in your bedroom. The absurdly large bed stretches across the expanse of the room, the open windows letting in the sun. Azriel tosses you on the cool silk sheets as he stalks on top of you. His lips collide with yours again as he slowly draws one hand up your thigh and draws your underwear down, throwing it somewhere behind him. He thrusts into you in one long motion, and the searing pleasure sends a rumble of power that shakes the very foundation of the palace.
“Calm Flower,” he whispers as he hits the spot inside of you that threatens to launch you into oblivion. “You’ll bring the walls down around us.” You let out a laugh that bubbles into a moan as he continues his languid drive into you over and over. Eventually, Azriel starts to ram into you as his restraint falters like a splitting thread, toying his fingers over the apex of your thighs with musician’s grace as he bites at your neck. He flips you over at lightning speed, your ass in the air as he drives your further into the mattress, your moans muffling into the pillows as your try to keep up with the relentless tempo. You finally tip over the edge right before Az spills himself inside you, your combined release makes him let out a roar so loud the birds flee from their nests in the trees.
He watches himself spill out of you, thrusting it back inside with two of his fingers.
You whine in overstimulation as he crooks his fingers inside of you, he lets out an amused huff as he gently strokes your shaking thighs. Azriel waves a hand, and you hear the water in the bathtub start to run. You stroke a gentle path through his night-dark hair as he leans into your touch.
Yes, spring may be coming soon. The time with your husband dwindles to sparse moments in a dying winter fire, but as Az scoops you into his arms to take you to the bath you enjoy every single moment you have left.

_______________________________________________________________________________
standing in your bridal gown, looking outside, and seeing Wanda standing there waiting for you, it was like a dream come true you've been waiting months for this day and now it was finally here. It seemed like everything around you just stopped. You could see nothing else but Wanda. In a white wedding gown, soon to be your wife. YOUR WIFE.
your dad came from behind holding your arm, breaking you from your gazing he said "Are you ready to go down the aisle sweetheart?" you took a deep breath and nodded as you both started walking.
as you walk down the aisle everyone cheers, "You are in Love" by Taylor Swift playing faintly in the background as you looked at Wanda and saw your whole world right there and then. It was like you were born to live this day and day alone. Everything seemed perfect everything made sense now.
Wanda looked at you and smiled. She smiled so hard that her cheeks started hurting. Tears in her eyes she saw you as you stood there in front of her, she wanted to kiss you so badly.
Clint was the one leading the wedding because Wanda insisted as he was the closest father figure to her and she loved him so dearly. "Wanda and y/n my two beautiful friends and my family members. I have known y/n ever since she was a little girl, she was always so compassionate and funny" he pauses and light laugh "So funny actually. She was always goofing around and her jokes oh my God I cannot forget them she was always joking about something or someone she would make me laugh in the darkest of times" he paused again looked at you and smiled. "let me tell you, guys, something, one time when y/n was wearing a pillow on her head as a wedding veil came up to me, she was only five at time. and asked me "Uncle Clint!!!! do I look good???" and gave me a twirl and haha I said "ofc you do sweetheart, who's your groom?" and she looked at me and rolled her eyes "Silly I don't have a groom I'm marrying my doll cause I love her the most" and then she forced me by giving me those pretty pleading eyes that still work to this day to come to her wedding and I went and now here I am standing in between y/n and Wanda at their actual wedding" with now tears in his eyes he looked at Wanda
"Wanda.. Oh, I've known Wanda for more than 10 years now I saw her grow up into this powerful beautiful woman she is now, I remember when she came up to me asking me if she should ask y/n out I told her whatever was in her heart she should just put it out, I saw there relationship grow stronger and stronger each day. They are the most for each other as one could be, I remember when Wanda asked me how she should propose to y/n I told her the same thing again that she should do whatever is in her heart, Wanda my pretty Wanda I love you and I'm so proud of you for the women you have become, my heart breaks into millions when I think about how both of you are not so little anymore but it screams in joy when I see you two together so in love with each other." that was it he stopped talking, he was softly sobbing now so are many of our friends and family members.
He speaks again after some silence clearing his throat, "We are gathered here today to witness the sacred union of Wanda Maximoff and Y/n Y/l/n We stand here to honor and celebrate the love shared between these two people, as they come together to start their new life with a solemn vow, surrounded by their closest family and friends"
He turned to Wanda and said "Repeat after me.
I, Wanda take you, Y/n, to be my wife. I promise that from this day forward I will regard you not only as my equal, but as my closest friend. I promise to comfort you in sickness and in health. I promise to demonstrate my commitment to you through love, laughter, and compassion. I love you." and as Wanda did he looked at you next and said "Repeat after me.
I, Y/n take you, Wanda, to be my wife. I promise that from this day forward I will regard you not only as my equal, but as my closest friend. I promise to comfort you in sickness and in health. I promise to demonstrate my commitment to you through love, laughter, and compassion. I love you." "It's time for the vows," he says softly
You begin first "Wanda, darling, for so long, I wondered if I would ever find my love, my soulmate. Then four years ago, at another wedding, I turned to a friend for comfort, and instead, I found everything that I’d ever been looking for my whole life. And now, here we are, with our future before us, and I only want to spend it with you – my love, my soulmate, my friend… Unless you don’t want to.”
Wanda started tearing up but holding her composure she began, "Y/n, I thought this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do. But when I saw you walking down that aisle, I realized how simple it was. I love you. Any surprises that come our way, it’s ok, because I will always love you. You were the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with."
(An: these vows are definitely not stolen from friends)
"just to be sure" he laughs "Do each of you take the other to be your lawful wedded spouse?”
Wanda and you say together with eagerness "I do".
After exchanging the rings he speaks again,
"By the power vested in me by the State of California, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss" and took a step back as Wanda eagerly came forward and kissed me softly and whispered "oh I've been waiting all day for this" making you laugh and tear up.
"Ladies and Gentleman, for those of you who have come to witness this union, it is my pleasure to present the newly united couple, Y/N and WANDA Maximoff."
there's that. you and Wanda were married. Actually married. the rest of the evening went great everyone danced laughed cried.
____________________________________________________________
(wedding night)
Your flight was tomorrow in evening so you and Wanda had the whole night to yourself, as you sat there on the bed taking off your jewelry Wanda came from the back rubbing your shoulders you instantly relaxed in her touch
She bent down so she could whisper in your ear softly "I want to fuck you in this dress" You could hear the smirk on her face, and as you hesitantly looked at her she immediately knew what you meant "I promise I'll be gentle no damage would be done to that dress" Wanda knew how much you loved that dress so she wouldn't dare ruining it
"I bought this just for tonight," she says holding a Scarlett strap out in her hand, it was just perfect not too big or too small
"lay down" she whispers in your ear and you did, she folds your dress to your waist and takes off your underwear Wanda was only in her undergarments she took them off and fastened the harness around her as she stood between your legs she caressed your legs and align the strap to your opening slowly entering you while maintaining eye contact as she watched your face confronted in pleasure, only light moans coming out of your mouth
you underestimated the size, it wasn't too thick but it was long. When Wanda was fully in she gave you a moment to get used to the strap
Her fingers entwined with yours, your foreheads touching lightly she thrusts inside you, slowly but hard, every thrusting was pulling a moan out of you as Wanda gasped in your ear throwing praises here and there
"you're doing so good princess"
"my pretty wife"
"oh baby you look so pretty like that"
she didn't stop the praises her thrusts only speeding up, not too fast just perfect sending you into ecstasy, her strap hit your g spot in every thrust "Wanda I'm cumming!!" without warning you came all over her strap.
"Can you give me one more doll? please?" looking at her pleading eyes you weakly nodded as Wanda gently fucks you through your orgasm, kissing your neck so softly she said "My wife only mine" She gasps her orgasm reaching her soon "All mine! cum with me baby," she says as she let out a moan collapsing over you, making sure not to put all her weight on you, you came soon after.
As you both came down from your high Wanda tried to get up but your arms stopped her "Noo please don't go" she cupped your face and said "I'll just be a minute princess" She got and undid the harness and threw it down, took your dress off softly and cleaned you up and herself
"here take some water baby" She gave you and glass of water and you drank as she took the wedding dress to the closet, peaking her head out from the closet she asked, "do you wanna sleep with clothes on or off doll?" "off please" you replied softly yawning
Wanda nodded and got out of the closet, as you made someplace in the bed for her she got under the cover immediately holding you, you lay your head on her chest clutching her like a koala
Wanda started caressing your back "Goodnight my beautiful wife", you smiled and muttered something out hoping Wanda would understand.
And she did. She always does.

monster trio x fem reader nsfw formal wear 👀 either way because i’m a sucker for a man in a suit and i know they would be on their knees for a dress
ayeee now that's what we are talking about!! (scurries like a rat to pinterest to find hot men in suit as inspo~)
"all dressed up, just for me" ft. the monster trio!
ft. luffy, zoro, sanji x fem!reader
set-up: hot men in suits; just no other thoughts
warnings: nsfw drabbles; nsfw stuff includes: penetration, dirty talk, them being just a little bit possessive if you squint; MDNI (thankyou very much)
luffy:
Tumblr media
the way luffy would slay this is like unthinkable actually
- his hands are snaking around your waist, fingers digging harshly against the silk you were clad in - ignoring the man in front of you that you were chatting up, he leans in to whisper against the shell of your ear, "come with me, please" - you excuse the man, flashing him a polite smile and then luffy's dragging you by your wrist outside of the ball-room and into the corridor - "luffy-" you moan, words dissolving on the tip of your tongue as he's kissing and bruising the skin on your neck "somebody's gonna see" you whisper he flashes you a grin, "let them" "luffy" you push him away, "somebody's gonna see." - he groaned but nonetheless, he pulled away. then, pulling you by your wrist and walked into the nearest washroom - your back is against the cold wooden door and his fingers are hiking up your gown, letting it pool on your hip "so pretty" thats all he mumbles before he's kissing you again - his fingers pull your panties aside, the pad of his thumb rubbing the bundle of nerves - you moan into his touch, your hands pulling him closer and kissing him harder "luffy" you whimper at his calloused touches "look at you, all dressed up, just for me." he groans, fingers moving faster, "let me fuck you just like this" - fucked you with the dress on - you can never put that dress on again because luffy goes feral every single time. - rip u and ur dress
zoro:
Tumblr media
you heard the man, he said he'd wear something black
- zoro was trying to have some self-restraint. - truly, he was trying. - if trying meant ogling you from across the room as he downed his third glass of whiskey and clenching his jaw whenever another guy's fingers lingered a little too long over your skin, then sure, he was trying - but enough was enough, that dude was getting a little too close and your smile was turning from a genuine one to an uncomfortable one - so, zoro's arm wraps around your waist, his lips pressing a chaste kiss to your neck he whispers, "do you want me to kill him?" and then he's pulling you away, sending the man in front of you a death-glare - you're pressed against the cold balcony wall, the night air painting goosebumps on your skin as zoro presses against you "nobody ever comes here" he reassures as he is bruising your skin "are you su-" he pulls you into a kiss, devouring you whole and shutting you up as his lips trace over yours - and now you are bent over the balcony, your dress bunched up at your hips; your hands are gripping the cool metal as his fingers lace up in your hair and pull you backwards. he slips in and out from behind, whispering dirty nothings in your ear "fu-ck yn" his voice is heavy, mixed with groans and low moans, "look at you, all dressed up just for me" "zoro ngh- shit fuc-" "shh" his finger drags your bottom lip as he drills into you harder, "somebody might hear us" - well, now you know his kryptonite - wear a dress and pray to god he doesn't tear it when he fucks you
sanji:
Tumblr media
hold up, sanji with this slutty waistline i know you all hear me
- he's been pressed up against you all night, hissing insults as soon as other man got too close to you or smiled a bit too much with you or any other thing ever "sanji, you're being ridiculous come on" you whisper as you pull him aside, silently begging him to leave your side for like two minutes and act normal "i cannot help it, darling. look at you" he flashes you a handsome smile "sanji." "awh don't be mad," he leans in, tucking your hair behind your ear and whispering, "i can make it up to you" - and that's how you were stuffed inside a utility closet with sanji pressed up against you - your dress hung barely onto your skin as you chest was exposed and sanji fucked into your cunt, his hands holding you into place against the wall "san- sanji, fuck" "my love, all dressed up, just for me" he whispers as his fingers dig into the flesh of your hips, "takin' me so well, darlin-g" - yeah, he ended up accidentally ripping your dress - its fine tho, he bought you another and fucked you in it too
a/n: this was relatively short but oh my lord my brain isnt working im sorry 🙏🏼

A/N: idk why im so obsessed with pregnancy fics lately, maybe i should check in on my cycle lmao
WORD COUNT: 1k
PAIRING: CEO!Harry x pregnant!reader
SUMMARY: Harry gets hit on at an event, but the woman fails terribly, because he only has eyes for his pregnant girlfriend who is busy by the buffet table.
MASTERLIST | SUPPORT ME!
Tumblr media
Another waiter offers Harry some champagne, but he respectfully rejects and keeps sipping on his water. His gaze trails over the crowd of guests, the room is full of influential people from all kinds of businesses, people Harry should definitely be mingling with, making connections, but he is trying to find one particular person.
From across the room, a tall, blonde woman spots the lonely millionaire and a devious smile curls up her red lips. A predator-like look takes over her eyes, but she moves like a gazelle as she crosses the room, heading straight over to Harry, determined to seduce him at all cost.
“You don’t fancy the cocktails?” she asks him. He looks at her with a respectful smile and nod.
“Not… Not tonight.”
“You looked awfully lonely over here. Thought I would introduce myself, I’m Savannah, it’s nice to meet you.”
She holds out a perfectly manicured hand that he shakes lightly.
“I’m Harry.”
“Harry Styles, owner of Styles Industries, right?” The smirk on her face tells him she knows exactly who he is, the introductions wasn’t needed.
“Yeah,” he nods anyway.
“I feel lucky I found you alone, I think it might be a sign that we should get to know each other more.”
She pushes closer to him, brushing a hand down his arm and she blatantly ignores the way he takes a step back. She is too driven to get what she wants to notice the signs.
“This night has been nice, but I can’t wait to get back to my hotel room, get rid of this tight dress and relax.” The dramatic sigh she lets out gets lost somewhere between her and Harry, because he is not even looking at her, eyes scanning the guests. She notices his disinterest at last, but doesn’t give up just yet.
“You know, it can get a bit lonely at events like this for a single woman. I wish I had—“
“Excuse me,” Harry cuts her off when he finally sees the person he’s been trying to find.
As he walks away, Savannah’s jaw drops to the floor, no one has ever rejected her the way he just did, but he doesn’t even notice how hurt she is. He has his eyes on the only woman he cares about in the room.
You’re standing by the buffet table, your silver gown matches his tie and it gorgeously emphasizes your round stomach that’s been Harry’s favorite thing in the past couple of months. You have a plate in your hand, all kinds of food stacked on it starting from mini burgers to steak and it seems like you’re still looking for something to add. Harry can’t hold his smile back as he watches you run your free hand down your stomach, eyes scanning over the variety of food in front of you.
God, he is so obsessed with you, has always been, but now that you’re carrying his baby it has gotten to a whole new level he never thought could be possible. But it is, you’re everything he ever wished for and cannot wait to officially become a family in just two short months.
“There you are, thought I would have to go into the ladies restroom to find you,” Harry smiles down at you as he steps closer to you, placing a hand to your lower back.
“Oh! Sorry, I got a little distracted,” you chuckle and crane your neck so he can kiss your lips shortly, as if it hasn’t been just ten minutes since he last saw you.
“S’okay. What do you have here?”
You look down at the plate and sink your teeth into your lower lip when you realize how much food you’ve piled up.
“Um, I—This is for both of us. I thought we could… share?”
He knows this was just for you and you only said it because you feel ashamed of how much you’ve been eating lately. You’ve put on quite some weight, it’s hard to say no to your cravings, especially when your boyfriend loves to spoil you with your favorites every other day.
Harry doesn’t mind the extra weight. He loves it. He loves every change in your body, let it be your cellulite on your thighs or the stretch marks on your belly. You were afraid he wouldn’t look at you the same way at you anymore once you’ve started growing and changing, that he wouldn’t want you the way he used to.
Well, he does look at you differently, but in the best way possible, he loves on you just as often as he used to, if not even more often, he tells you how beautiful you are ever chance he gets and most of the times he is having a hard time keeping his hands to himself.
Like right now. If only you were alone, he would move his hands to places that are only for his touch.
“Mm, you just eat all that and I’ll bring you dessert. You better feed yourself and our baby or I will do it myself.”
“I already had a big plate, shouldn’t I hold myself back?” you whisper, heat crawling up your neck to your cheeks.
“No. If you crave it, eat it, Love.” He kisses the top of your head and runs a hand down your stomach. He smiles when he feels a tiny kick under his touch. He takes it as a sign that he did the right thing. “See? He agrees as well,” he chuckles.
“Already teaming up to plot against me?” you sigh, but can’t hold your smile back.
“Only if it’s for your well-being.” You pout your lips at him, still not sure how you got so lucky to have him as your partner. Harry leans down and kisses the pout off your lips before reaching out to grab another plate. “So, what do you want for dessert? Macarons? Brownies? Cheesecake?”
“Exactly in that order,” you nod, making him laugh as he stacks the goods on the plate without a word.
Thank you for reading, please like and reblog if you enjoyed and buy me a coffee if you want to support me!

For @phantomphangphucker for phic phight!
.
.
.
The needle was bronze.
The copper alloy stood out better against ectoplasmic flesh than it would have against red blood.  It dipped in and out of Danny's skin with machine-like precision, drawing a slender purple string in its wake.  Appropriate.  Clockwork was at least partly mechanical.
“You're getting close to my liver,” said Danny.  “Careful.”
“You are aware that these facsimile organs are not at all essential to the function of your body.”
“Sure they are,” said Danny.  He leaned his head back on the cushion Clockwork had provided him.  “That's why you're sewing me up.”
Clockwork's tower wasn't Danny's usual post-battle stop, but the fight had been nasty and it had been close. His other choices had been flying an hour to reach the Far Frozen and leaving an ectoplasm trail through the mad science lab dedicated to dissecting ghosts.  The decision had been easy.
Clockwork had complained, of course.  Ninety percent of the time spent stitching had doubled as time spent snarking.  It was fun.
“You have more than fake human organs in here, and losing that much ectoplasm is unhealthy for a ghost regardless.  You are friends with the doctors of the Far Frozen.  Perhaps you should avail yourself of their knowledge more frequently.”
“I already have one health class I'm failing.  Don't need another.”
“You are not failing your health class.”
Danny peeled back an eyelid that had fallen shut at some point during the exchange.  “Are you using your time powers to spy on my grades?”
“Hardly.”  Clockwork picked up a pair of ornate scissors and snipped the string he'd been stitching Danny up with.  “But even so, I doubt you would notice if I removed one of your so-called organs.”
“You could try,” said Danny.  He closed his eyes again and leaned to the side until he was slumped over on Clockwork, who made an offended noise.  “You’re trapped now.  Stuck.”
“I am a shapeshifter,” said Clockwork.  “You cannot ‘trap’ me simply by leaning on me.”
“Can too.”
Danny was tired.  Sometimes, he could shrug off both fights and injuries like they were nothing, but unicorns were vicious and Technus was mean.  Electricity always took a lot out of him.
Clockwork sighed heavily.  Danny smiled.
“You aren’t nearly as charming as you think,” said Clockwork.
“And yet, you are neither kicking me out nor stealing my pancreas or lower intestine or anything like that.”
“I could.”
“But you haven’t.”  Danny tucked his feet underneath him and snuggled more heavily into Clockwork’s side.
The ghost groaned, but obligingly made room for Danny.  Yes, yes, exactly according to plan.  The evil one, where he made friends with Clockwork.  He figured he was already halfway there, if Clockwork was willing to sew him up, but with this it was definitely closer to three quarters.
Having thought this, Danny promptly fell asleep.
.
The front doors of Clockwork’s tower were not made to slam open, but Danny, fingers of one hand clenched over his chest and still wearing a Far Frozen medical gown, managed anyway.  He was resourceful like that.
“Clockwork?” he called.  “Clockwork!”  He flew from room to room, only sticking his head in long enough to assess them for Clockwork's presence.
Finally, he found him.
“Clockwork!” he shouted, re-energized by the sight.  “Did you steal my heart?  My heart?  My actual heart from my actual chest?”
Clockwork stared blankly at Danny for long enough that his panicked doubled and doubled again.  This was, quite literally, his only lead.
“No,” said Clockwork, finally.  “I stole the replica of your actual heart.  From your chest.”
“That’s the same thing!”
“Is it?” asked Clockwork, smugly.  “After all, you didn’t even notice this one was gone.”
“Oh my god, I cannot believe you did this.”  Friendship plan canceled.  Or something.
“I cannot imagine why,” said Clockwork.  “After all, I told you exactly what I was going to do.  You even gave me permission.”
“I thought you were joking.  Who’s going to think that you’re serious about stealing a friend’s organs?  That’s a joke.  A joke.  Banter, if you would.  Not an invitation to steal my literal heart.”
“Even so, it has been done.”
“Well, can you undo it?  Put it back in?  You didn’t, I don’t know, toss it out with last week’s eggshells or something?  Stick it in the back of the kitchen junk drawer.”
“No, I know exactly where I put it,” said Clockwork.
“And you can undo it, right?  It’s not, like, expired?”
“It is difficult to get more expired than a ghost’s heart.”
Danny stared at Clockwork expectantly.
“Yes, I can undo it.  It will be the work of a moment to return it to its proper place.”
“Great, so…  Lead on.”  Danny made a forward sweeping motion with both hands.
Clockwork’s eyes slid back towards his time screen.  “Can it wait?”
“No!”
“You haven’t had it for weeks.  You won’t miss it for a few more minutes.”
“Uh, yes, I will!  You can time travel.  Whatever you’re doing, you can do it later.”
“I suppose,” said Clockwork.  “Very well.  Follow me.”
Clockwork led him back, through narrow halls, into a towering closet with spiral shelves.  It was full of what could only be collectively referred to as stuff.
“Wow, I wasn’t serious about the junk drawer thing.”
“Oh, please,” said Clockwork.  “This is hardly junk.”
“You’re a hoarder.”
“I resent that appellation,” said Clockwork, flying up and rotating slightly.  Danny kept his feet on the ground, slightly intimidated.
“The only reason you aren’t drowning in all this is because your house doesn’t have to exist in Euclidean space.”
“And yet, I am not drowning in it.” Clockwork continued to float upwards, a faint frown on his face.
“You do remember where you put it, right?”
“Yes, Daniel,” said Clockwork, visibly rolling his eyes.  “I put it right– Ah.  Interesting.”
“Interesting?  What do you mean interesting?” demanded Danny.  He flew up to hover near Clockwork's shoulder.  “Did something happen to it?  Is it– It's not there?  You said you knew where it was!”
“I said I knew where I put it, which is rather a different thing altogether.”
“No, it isn't!  It's not like it has legs!  It couldn't have wandered off on its oooohhhhhhhh my God, it could have wandered off on its own.  That thing had more ectoplasm in it than a Christmas turkey.”
“It is, in fact,” said Clockwork, “entirely made out of ectoplasm.”
“If it’s moving around like that, can we put it back in?  Would it– Would it try to escape?  Like, escape my chest?  Is that a thing?”
“Unlikely.”
“As unlikely as it starting to move around in the first place?”
“Unlikely,” repeated Clockwork.
“Where even is it?  Do you know?  Can you tell?  Obviously, your whole ‘I know everything’ shtick is a lie, but can you, like, rewind things so that it’s here?”
“No,” said Clockwork.  “We will just have to look for it.”
“In your hoarder cave?”
“It is not a cave.”
“Ah, but you don't dispute the hoarder part?”  He spun, head over heels, trying and failing to see the entirety of the not-really-a-closet.  “What if there are things in here?  Like, living things?  Could it have been eaten?  By, like… Clockroaches?  Do you have clockroaches here?”
“Media tends to grossly exaggerate both the aggression and size of temporal boggles–”
“They’re real?”
“Why would you ask about them if you didn’t think they were real?”
“I don’t know.  It turns out I don’t think through the things I say to you very well.”
“Clearly.”
Danny arrested his motion.  “Where do we even start?  This place is huge!”
“That statement assumes that it is still in this particular room.”
“Oh my God.”
“Although, if we are to search this room, it would make the most sense to start from either end and work towards the middle.”
Danny flipped over.  “I can’t even see the other end.”  This was only barely an exaggeration.
“Then we had best get started soon.”
Danny rubbed his face.  “Am I even going to recognize it?  What will it look like?”
“Like the organ it was imitating, of course,” said Clockwork.  “Oh, and don’t touch anything.”
Danny groaned.
.
There was something quivering and green huddled behind a bank of jars.  Was that… it couldn’t be…  He formed a stick out of ice and went to poke it.
“What are you doing to that poor frog?” asked Clockwork.
“Holy– It’s a frog?”
“Yes.”
Danny stared.  Clockwork was covered in splatters and streaks of ectoplasm from head to tail.
“Why do you– I don’t even want to know.  Did you find it?”
“Yes,” said Clockwork, holding up a jar.  There was…  Well.  It was a heart.  “Are you sure you want it back?  Surely, the sentimental value cannot be that great.”
“Wh– It’s not about the sentimental value.  Open it up, put it back in!”
Clockwork’s sigh was incredibly put-upon.  “Alright, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
He unscrewed the lid of the jar, and the heart, which had up until that point, laid quiescent on the bottom of the jar, flew out, smacking Danny in the face.
“Augh!”
“Grab it!”
Danny managed to get a hand around a ventricle, but ectoplasm and ectoplasmic muscle was slippery.  It escaped his grip.  It flopped-flew its way down to the bottom of the genuinely-not-a-closet and made for the door.  Danny dove at it, only to get a faceful of ectoplasm from an artery for his trouble.
Danny wondered if this was what Skulker felt like.  He let ectoplasm dribble out of his mouth.
“That, bleh, that tastes like my ectoplasm,” he said.
“That’s because it is,” said Clockwork, tiredly.  “I will refrain from asking you to elaborate on your ectoplasm-tasting experiences.”
“Look, when nature gives you a weapon, and afterlife gives you enemies, you use the weapon.”  He peered cautiously out of the door, wary of being sprayed with what was essentially his own blood once again.  “Where do you think it–”
He got another mouthful of ectoplasm.
“Bleh,” he said.
“I don’t suppose you saw it?” asked Clockwork.  “Which way it went, etcetera, etcetera?”
“No,” said Danny.
“Then this will be a long night.”
“Can’t you just, like, stop time or something?  So it won’t move around while we look”
Clockwork gave him a look.
“I’ll take that as a no.”
.
“I think,” said Danny, from where he was dangling from the ceiling, a tangle of clock chains wrapped around his ankle, “that we need help.”
“Unfortunately, I must concur,” said Clockwork, who was underneath a pair of couches even he’d been surprised at owning.
“Unless you want to use your totally awesome time powers to find it.”
“No.”
.
“I’m sorry,” said Sam.  “What did you lose?”
“My heart,” said Danny.  “And I didn’t lose it.  Clockwork stole it.”
“Is this some kind of Ice Queen situation here?” asked Sam.  “Are you going to lose all empathy and care for other people?”
“No,” said Danny.  “It’s just the, um, physical thing.  And only my ghost half’s physical thing.  Apparently.  Apparently, the ‘human organs’ I have in my ghost form aren’t functional, unless the functionality is, like, the functionality of being incredibly annoying and spraying ectoplasm everywhere.”
“So, what should we bring for this thing?” asked Tucker.  “Butterfly nets?  Bow and arrow?  Guns?  What’s the endgame?”
“You want to shoot my heart?”
“I don’t know what you want here, dude.  I’m still kind of reeling over the fact that the guy you were hanging out with literally stole your heart.  Do you need someone to give him a stern talking to, make sure he gets you home before curfew?”
“That’s disgusting.  He could probably be my great-great-great-great-great-great–”
In ghost form, Danny didn’t have to breathe all that much, so he was able to go on like that until Sam and Tucker joined forces to stuff socks in his mouth.
.
“How in the world did things escalate to Clockwork stealing your literal heart?” asked Jazz.
“Okay, yeah, I see how that’d seem bad, out of context, but you see, it isn’t actually my literal heart–”
.
Danny glared at Clockwork’s idea of ‘help.’ “I bring three completely reasonable and competent people, and you bring them?”
“From my point of view, I am the one with the reasonable and competent people,” said Clockwork, gesturing at the combined forces of Nocturne, Ghost Writer, and Skulker.  “You, meanwhile, have brought three teenagers.”
“Are you really calling Skulker competent?”
“If not, he at least has experience in being outsmarted by you.”
“Hey!”
.
“Alas,” said Tucker, “the heart wants what the heart wants, and what it wants is freedom.”
“Where,” said Sam, kicking at a puddle, “is all this ectoplasm even coming from?”
“Around,” said Danny.
“Ooh,” said Jazz, “it’s condensing it from the atmosphere?”  She paused.  “What are you all looking at me like that for?  I can have scientific curiosity!”
“I think it’s more because of what’s happened to your hair,” said Ghost Writer.
“What’s happened to my hair?”
“You don’t want to know.”
.
“Danny, I think I hate you,” said Sam.  They were sitting on one of Clockwork’s couches.  Clockwork had a lot of couches.  A fact that Clockwork seemed both bemused and distressed by.
“Oh, trust me, the feeling is mutual.  As in, I hate me too.”
Clockwork sat down on the couch next to Danny.  “Daniel, I must tell you that while hate is beneath me, I am seriously regretting my earlier decisions.”
“Does that mean that you’re going to time travel back to–”
“Absolutely not.”
Tucker ran past them with a butterfly net, chasing down a green blur.
“That’s a blob ghost, isn’t it?” asked Sam.
“I do believe so,” said Clockwork.
“Well,” said Danny.  “At least this all makes us friends, yeah?  Can’t go through something like this without being friends.”  At least he’d get something accomplished with all this insanity.
“I wouldn’t call myself friends with Skulker.  Or Nocturne.  Acquaintances, more like.”
“I notice you didn’t say anything about Ghost Writer.”
Clockwork shrugged.  “He’s somewhat more tolerable.”
“And me?”
“I suppose.”
The heart fell straight down, into Danny’s lap.
“Are you serious–”

anthony bridgerton x reader
synopsis: a drunk mistake and a stupid maid leads to a rekindling of what once was..
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
the way his hands felt on your body was still fresh, as if you had been branded by the viscount. he was a constant in your mind, his breath still lingered hot.
“fuck!” your hands knocked all of the items off the desk. you threw yourself into the chair and pulled open the drawers, rummaging for any piece of parchment and a quill.
your brain ached at the thought of him, the fabric of his shirt could still be felt tightening under your fingers…
anthony bridgerton. anthony bridgerton. anthony bridgerton. anthony bridgerton. anthony bridge-
the quill snapped under the pressure just as you finished the last line on the page.
the lines seemed to blur on the way down but you kept going, finding another quill and beginning again on the other side. you shook with the fury as you kept writing, the candle burning brighter, the wax melting faster.
“ma’am.” jane’s voice as she pulled the curtains open, awoke you. you groaned at the sunlight that struck your face.
“jane, i’d prefer that you don’t let this ghastly light in so early in the day.” you covered your eyes as you sat up, legs crawling to the edge of the bed.
jane seemed to hold a laugh, “it’s half past noon.”
you stood up with a shock, “what?” you smoothed a hand down the front of your nightgown and brought an arm around your back, stretching slightly.
“you were up all night in the study. you deserve to sleep in! but don’t worry, i sent the letter out with the footman.” jane walked over to the wardrobe and began to pull out gowns galore.
“jane, what letter?” you thought back to the night prior and hummed, “i didn’t even put that letter in an envelope, or with a sea-“
jane smiled, “i did that all for you. don’t worry.”
as if shock wasn’t enough, but the rage you felt when she spoke was enough to kill the birds on the sill.
“thank god i fired her. what kind of maid thinks she even has-“ you threw your hands up, rubbing your eyes, “i just hope whatever was in that letter is nothing bad. i was terribly drunk on the wine when i decided to walk to the study.” you cleared your throat, and your sister laughed, her head throwing itself back.
“you are unbelievable!” she laughed, “did she ever say who it was addressed to?”
you shook your head, “i have no idea. i say, whatever response i get it’ll be a surprise.” you tried to reserve yourself to not caring about the letter, but you had a bad habit of making problems for yourself.
“let me see it again.” he held his hand out to his brother and anthony reluctantly handed it over, “it’s all the same, what else could possibly have changed?” he was exasperated, having been staring at the contents of the letter all morning.
“are we sure it’s from her? positive?” benedict set the letter down and anthony shrugged, “it’s her seal.”
benedict nodded, “very well. what do you plan to do about it? what if she expects a response?”
anthony scoffed, “you cannot be serious, brother.”
benedict laughed, “what else do you want me to be? im not the one who wrote you a letter with just your name, written over and over again.”
anthony shook his head, “it just doesn’t make any sense- it’s been years.” anthony grabbed the letter and folded it, stuffing it back into the envelope, “i’ll just talk to her! what’s the harm if this,” he moved the letter in his hands, “has already been sent. perhaps it was a mistake, surely she’d love to clear that up.”
benedict agreed, even choosing to ignore the agitated state that his brother was going towards.
his hands tightened around your thighs, “anthony-“ you cried, your back thumping against the wardrobe, “anthony, fuck!” you grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss, “oh-“ you tightened around him, his face complete bliss as he held you up, “good girl.” he praised, “good fucking girl.” he was breathless as he thrusted into you weakly.
“wife.” your husbands voice broke into your thoughts as he slid over a letter to you, the letter catching itself under your dinner plate, “it seems like the viscount had asked for tea. is there any reason why?”
you looked at the letter with surprise, “hm.” you grabbed the letter but didn’t dare open it, “must be from his mother. i ran into her and her daughters at the modiste.”
violet had to do a double take when she saw you. her words caught in her throat as she stared past her daughters and at you, walking into the shop.
“mama?” eloise waved her hand in front of her mothers face, and violet snapped back, “yes? im sorry, i must’ve dozed off!” she clapped her hands and tried to focus on her daughters dress, “my that looks lovely, eloise!”
eloise scoffed, crossing her arms in front of her, “this is the dress i was already wearing when we came in.”
daphne laughed slightly, “mama, is there somethin-“ she looked at her mothers line of vision and saw you. daphne couldn’t help but smile, seeing you was a treat, “oh.” she looked away and turned to eloise, “get on with it then.” eloise didn’t bother to see what her mother and sister were gawking at and instead walked into one of the private dressing rooms.
“that’s the viscount’s seal.” your husband pointed out, but you shook your head, “they’re all bridgertons, shouldn’t they all have the same seal?” you tried to brush it off, but now you were beginning to get worried.
why had he sent you a letter for tea?
you stood up, tucking the letter under your arm, you exited quietly, your husband’s eyebrows raised as you walked out.
anthony paced the room, his coat long shed with the nerves. you were supposed to arrive for tea twenty minutes ago. unless you had denied his invitation and he just-
“viscount bridgerton.” your voice was like a chorus of angels to his ears. in you came, stopping to give a smile and the proper entrance.
he tried to pretend as if he hadn’t just been pacing the room, clearing his throat and waving a hand to one of the seats. he sat across from you, the desk separating the two of you.
“this is hardly the usual setting for some tea..” you trailed off as you looked around the study. it was awkward, especially as you gazed at the mahogany desk that you’ve been bent over hundreds of times.
anthony nodded, “there’s no tea. if you allow me to speak freely,” he gazed at you, an unreadable expression on his face, but you nodded, and he continued. “this,” he paused again, turning around to rummage the cabinets behind him for the letter, “arrived two mornings ago. with your seal.”
you were speechless.
your fingers pawed at the letter, tracing the angry lines you laughed, “oh my.”
anthony shook his head, “is there a reason you sent this or?”
you laughed hard again, “oh my god! this is what that stupid maid sent out?” you tossed the letters back to him and slumped down in the seat, laughing again.
anthony was in disbelief, he had been taking this entire situation seriously and here you were, laughing! he grabbed the letters and sighed, “i’m so stupid.” he mumbled.
“what?” you broke out of your hysterical fit and stared at the now defeated anthony, who was clutching the letters.
“i thought-“ he cut himself off, “im sorry. this is all a misunderstanding. the maid wrote this?”
“no. i wrote it, i was drunk, i didn’t think anyone would ever see it, im the one who’s sorry.” you bowed your head, “it was a mistake, anthony.” you stood up, “i should go. forgive me for all of this.”
anthony stood up and ran to the door, his back against it, “don’t. don’t go.” he hesitated to say it, and you laughed, “i cannot stay. im a married woman, i shouldn’t even be alone with you-“
anthony stared at you now, “really? you could’ve said that five minutes ago. why do you suddenly care?”
“why do i suddenly care? because i’m married, i am a proper woman of society-“
“not when you were letting me bed you unwed but-“
“are you serious?” your speech overlapped his and the two of you stared at each other with disbelief at one another’s words.
“no! i am not. i am the one who was stupid enough to believe you had come back to me. im the one who thought this,” he held the letter in his hand, “was love! i thought that finally,” he inhaled sharply, his volume dropping as he tried to calm himself, “you were admitting that you were wrong.” those deep dark pools of chocolate stared at you, his eyes glinting with tears.
you were breathless, the words ceasing to fall as the two of you just stared at one another once more, but your eyebrows furrowed slightly.
until your lips crashed into his, and his hands immediately found their way to your neck, bringing you in closer that you could feel your nose hurting against his face.
you pulled away, and for a moment the world had stopped as you stared.
“i-“ he cut you off by kissing you again, his back thumping against the door as you leaned hard on him. your body pushed up against his and anthony was struggling to find the lacing of your corset.
as you felt yourself breathe in more air, the corset loosened and you pulled back.
“no.” you whispered, staring at anthony, who’s hair was dishelved and his collar was unbuttoned, “we can’t. i cant.” you panted, “anthony im sorry.”
anthony shook his head, “it’s alright. it’s my fault for thinking things could’ve been different. that you would actually love me-“
“i do! i do love you, anthony. there is not a day where i don’t wake up with your name on the tip of my tongue! i imagine us, our bodies intertwined and my lips on your body. but we can’t! it’s too late.”you tried to fix your corset and instead all you did was let out a frustrated sob.
“we could’ve been together. you refused to even give us a chance.” he shook his head.
“i didn’t refuse. we were never meant to be. cant you see that? we haven’t spoken in years and our first conversation has already turned us into a mess. this,” you pointed to him and to yourself, “was doomed from the beginning.”
anthony sniffled, “if that’s what you think.”
“i always have.” you responded, your voice breaking slightly, you fixed your corset as best as you could, “good day, viscount.”
anthony watched as you exited, the door closing loudly, “good day.” he spoke to no one, the room feeling empty as ever.

Final one for today
This one is a little odder but I feel like a single parent story would be great for Jamie
Like maybe reader is a single parent and is out in the park where the child is playing alone with a football (maybe trying to do some tricks) and accidentally kicks it to far and it hits Jamie (Who maybe is jogging by) jamie brings it over and does some tricks and the kid is like omg can you show me how to do that! reader is like embarrassed but Jamie is like sure so they spend a bunch of time playing football. The kid is a fan of Richmond but tickets are expensive so Jamie invites them to a game (Free) and they get to meet the team and it becomes a regular thing
Jamie is trying to work up the nerve to ask out Reader (He has never dated someone with kids before) and he doesn't want to mess up the relationship finally the child is like please ask my parent out!
I can't wait to see what you do with these!!
Here’s another one that I’ve been sitting on forever! Finally got around to it. And in case you couldn’t tell, I freakin love Keeley Jones. I think she’s great. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
if only love were true
Thank god that Keeley Jones is your friend and she promised you’d never have to go stag to a work function.
“Keeley,” you say over the phone, “I need you to be my date for this fancy dinner/gala/thing I have for work next Sunday. I absolutely cannot go alone.”
“Next Sunday?” she says. “Let me check my calendar.”
You wait a moment as she presumably scrolls through her phone, checking her availability.
“Sorry babes,” she says after a long moment, “I’ve got a work thing too. Otherwise I’d totally be down to go as your hot trophy date.”
You groan. “Is there any way you can get out of it? Out of all the things I’ve taken you to, this is the one I need you at the most.”
Keeley’s silent. You can tell she’s thinking. She knows why this one is important.
“Alright,” she says finally. “I can’t go, but what if I sent you with a friend of mine?” She continues loudly over your beginning protests. “He’s really sweet and fit and funny, and he owes me favors pretty much for the rest of his life. You’d have a great time I SWEAR.”
“I don’t know,” you say. “Do you think he can go along with everything? There’s a 50/50 chance it’ll be a shitshow.”
“Absolutely,” Keeley replies without hesitation. “He’s fucking great. Can be a bit of a prick sometimes, but he’s learned how to use those skills for the greater good.”
“Uh huh,” you say. “Right. I’m trusting you on this one, Keels. If he’s as good as you say, I’ll take him. But I really, really need this to be good.”
“Trust me,” she says, “You won’t regret it.”
Jamie Tartt arrives at your doorstep, fully briefed by Keeley as to his responsibilities.
Be a gentleman, make her laugh, don’t fucking leave her with Harry.
Keeley showed him pictures of Harry’s instagram so Jamie would know exactly who he is on the lookout for.
It’s funny and it’s weird, but he’s not uncomfortable standing at the door, waiting for some woman he doesn’t even know. He’d do anything for Keeley, well aware that if she’s asking a favor, it’s for a good cause.
This is far out of his usual realm of expertise, but he reminds himself that he’s a person outside of being a footballer. A regular person would be a blind date for a friend of a friend at an awful work function.
Right?
Jamie doesn’t have time to dwell on the normality of this situation because the door is opening and you’re standing in front of him in some long gown that he swears outshines the stars.
“Hi,” you say. “It’s nice to meet you. Sorry about this.”
You call a goodbye down the hall before shutting the door. Jamie assumes it’s to a flatmate or something, whoever the owner of the other car in the driveway is. He just smiles.
“I’ve had weirder dates,” he says. “Don’t worry about a thing, love. Tonight’s gonna be fucking mint.” He offers you his arm.
You take it and feel yourself relax. It’ll be fine.
It is not fine.
Harry’s there, and god help you if you don’t want to kick him where it hurts. He’s surrounded by girls, shining that far-too dazzling smile and you’re pretty sure you’re going to throw up. Your grip on Jamie’s arm tightens, and he follows your gaze to your ex-flame.
“He’s fucking old,” Jamie comments.
“Yeah, well, that’s kind of how he gets you,” you reply. “Acts all charming and smart and shit and then next thing you know, you’re in his bed. Soon as that’s over, you’re done.”
“Twat,” Jamie responds with such conviction that you chuckle a little, despite yourself. That is, until Harry sees you and sheds his little entourage as he makes his way over.
“Shit,” you whisper. “How do I look?”
“Fuckin’ gorgeous,” Jamie replies without missing a beat.
The words are barely out of his mouth when Harry is upon you, leaning in for a hug that Jamie doesn’t allow. You’re grateful for his block as he pretends he was going for a handshake. You don’t want Harry touching you and the sentiment is reinforced as he gives you a once-over and says, “Didn’t expect to see you here, darling. What, are you neglecting your duties for the evening?”
That sentence must have some hidden meaning, because your teeth are bared and it’s gone over Jamie’s head.
“My duties,” you say through clenched teeth, “include being here at this gala because we both work for the same company.”
Harry tilts his head in mock sympathy. “Yes, but if I recall your priorities have… shifted.”
Jamie might be losing circulation in his arm and he may not know exactly what is happening here, but he knows enough. Keeley told him Harry was a right git without really saying why, but he is in no need of an explanation. In fact, he thinks that “a right git,” is too much of a compliment.
Harry turns his attention toward Jamie. “Has she told you?”
Jamie doesn’t know what he’s talking about, but he’ll be damned if he lets this prick win.
“Yes,” he replies forcefully.
Harry raises his eyebrows. “Ah, and that’s not a dealbreaker?”
Jamie shakes his head.
“How…progressive of you,” Harry replies, meaning the exact opposite. “You see, I wouldn’t want someone who… well, you know.”
Jamie’s about to say, “No, I don’t know,” and also maybe punch Harry when more people come up, demanding your attention. As you both turn away, Harry calls, “Let me know when you get tired of the immaturity and need a real man. My bed is always open to you.”
Your face is bright red and you think you’re going to bolt. Jamie starts like he’s going to fight Harry and for a moment you wonder if Keeley sent him because he’s a little bit feral.
Unfortunately for Harry and fortunately for you, he spoke a bit too loudly.
You’ll find out later that he was heard by some higher-ups and removed from the premises. However, since that information is not made available to you until the next day, you spend the rest of the evening looking over your shoulder for Harry’s reappearance.
Jamie, god bless him, is a wonderful date. He goes the whole nine-yards, holding your hand, tucking your hair behind your ear, cracking jokes with you and others at your table. He’s making you look good, and feel relaxed in the process. By the end of the night you’re feeling confident and have made a good impression on several people on the board.
You have new opportunities at your disposal, as well as a potential promotion. You put a reminder in your phone to send Keeley some daisies as a thank-you. You’ll send something for Jamie as well.
He walks you to your door, ever the gentleman. You thank him profusely for the night, and tell him you’ll be rooting for him next time Richmond has a match. He grins. “You a fan?” he asks.
You laugh. “Yeah, I am. Used to go to every match till… well, I just don’t get out much anymore.”
Jamie grins. “We’ll have to change that, darling.”
Darling.
He says it so differently than Harry. It’s all… bubbly. Not condescending, not designed to make you feel small.
“Good night, Jamie,” you say.
You don’t really expect to see (or hear from) Jamie again, except you do. Because he’s texting you.
The content varies, from messages passed on from Keeley to gifs to memes to weird little stories from training. You think you’d like his coaches, even Roy. It already felt like you knew them from all their interviews that you’ve seen, but hearing the behind-the-scenes snippets solidifies the feeling even more. Your chatting is regulated to the early morning and your lunch breaks, as you’re not much of an evening person anymore.
Jamie doesn’t seem to mind, he’s up early to do extra training with Roy and you’re up early to prepare for the day. You enjoy hearing from him at 6am on the dot every morning.
Saturdays are nice, because you don’t have work. Keeley comes over sometimes, but today you’re on the Richmond Green. You’re sitting on a bench, watching a boy kick a small football. You’re so completely absorbed in the way he’s running back and forth that you are startled when a shadow casts over your face.
“Fancy seeing you here,” says a distinctly Mancunian voice.
“Jamie!” you exclaim. “What’re you doing here?”
Jamie points to his trainers. “Going for a quick run. Roy’s out of town, but he still makes me take laps. Fucking mental.” He shakes his head. “What are you doing here?”
You open your mouth to reply when the boy with the tiny football comes flying over. “Are you Jamie Tartt?” he asks.
Jamie crouches to his level. “I am. What’s your name, mate?”
“Liam!” he replies. “I have a football like you!”
Jamie smiles. “Good lad. Keep up with the practice, and you’ll be better than me someday.”
Liam’s bouncing up and down, so excited that he throws his ball in the air. Jamie catches it and does a trick. At this point Liam is completely enamored with Jamie, and you are as well. He’s giving this kid his complete attention, making his whole day. Anyone else would have just shooed him off, but not Jamie.
He’s good with kids, your brain yells.
You tell your brain to shut up.
Jamie tosses the ball back to Liam. “Where’s your mum?” he asks. “Might have tickets to a match for you.”
Liam points. Jamie turns to look behind the bench where you’re sitting, as that’s where Liam is pointing. There’s no one.
“Which one?” he asks, turning back to Liam.
“Me,” you say. “I’m his mum.”
Liam climbs into your lap and holds your face in his tiny hands. “Mum, Jamie Tartt says we can go to a match!” he says.
You laugh. “Don’t get your hopes up, love, Jamie hasn’t made any promises.”
Liam settles into your lap, facing Jamie. He can’t see your face or the pleading look you’re giving Jamie.
Please don’t mess this up, you try to say with your eyes. Jamie must get the message because he keeps smiling and asks Liam if he wants to kick the ball around for a bit. You watch them go, dreading the imminent conversation.
Liam’s asleep in his little Richmond pajamas. He loves football, and you watch every single match the Greyhounds play. Tickets are expensive, and you promised you’d take him to a real game one day. Truth is, you aren’t sure when that will be. It’s not easy being a single mum, but as you watch Liam’s sleeping face, you know you wouldn’t trade him for anything.
You sigh and get out of the rocking chair. Might as well call Jamie and get it over with.
Please pick up, you pray, and he does; you’re in the dim kitchen lights, poking at a cup of tea.
“Hey!” comes Jamie’s surprised voice. “You alright? Need anything?”
You shake your head even though he can’t see. “No, I wanted to talk about today. And Liam. Harry’s his dad.”
“Figured,” Jamie replies. “Made his comments at the gala make more fucking sense.”
“Yeah,” you say. Harry is a fucking prick. “Harry… he doesn’t have any custody. He’s not allowed near Liam. He also doesn’t pay child support. Or want a child. Or anything, really. He just wants to fuck around and do what he wants with no consequences. I should’ve known better honestly, I’m not even one to go around like that. Figures the one time I do it ends up like this. Not that I’m complaining,” you continue, “Liam is the best part of my life. It’s just hard when I keep losing people because they don’t want him too. Keeley’s the only one who stuck around. Did you know she’s a surprisingly great babysitter? Even kicks around a football in the yard with him.”
Jamie makes a surprised noise. It’s hard to picture Keeley in that exact situation, but not hard to imagine her doing anything that her friends needed.
“Anyway,” you continue, “I get if this makes things weird. You don’t have to get us tickets to the match. Liam’s still pretty little anyway… always taking bathroom breaks and needing snacks.”
“The owner’s box would be perfect,” Jamie blurts.
That isn’t the reply you were expecting, so you’re silent for a moment as he continues, “I mean… It’s easy to get in and out of, Rebecca’s got a fridge and a restroom…People bring their kids all the time. He’d love it. I’d love it,” he finishes.
You’re not sure. This is the longest anyone has ever stuck around when it comes to Liam, and you don’t really want to go to jail for murder if Jamie breaks his heart. All he could talk about for the rest of the day was how Jamie Tartt played football with him. Isaac McAdoo is is number one favorite, but you think Jamie is now a close second.
“Alright,” you say finally. “We’ll be there.”
It’s past Liam’s bedtime, like way past, and he’s asleep with his head on your shoulder. Your arms are tired from holding him and your throat is sore from screaming at the Richmond match. Jamie was right, Liam loved it. He wore his McAdoo jersey and got to meet the whole team before the game. You have a picture of him on Isaac’s shoulders, smiling so big. It’s weird to think that he probably won’t remember any of this when he’s older.
You’re waiting in a lobby of some kind for Jamie to come out. You’re leaning against a wall, feeling Liam’s steady breathing as he dreams.
Meanwhile, Jamie’s in the locker room, freaking out.
“Coach,” he says, wearing a hole in the floor, “how do you ask out a girl who’s got a kid?”
“Well Jamie-” Ted says.
“Are there some kind of rules I’m supposed to follow?” Jamie continues, oblivious. “I mean, what the fuck am I supposed to say?”
“I think-” Ted tries again.
“Nah fuck it, I’m just going to ask,” Jamie says.
Ted grins. “That sounds like a good plan, son.”
Jamie smiles back. “Thanks, coach. You always have the best advice.”
Ted shakes his head, still smiling as Jamie leaves the locker room.
Jamie rounds the corner to find you half-asleep against a wall near some trophy case, with Liam breathing out tiny snores. He swears that he’s never seen anything more beautiful, and it freaks him out for a moment. It’s…domestic in a way he didn’t ever expect his life to be.
He shakes off the weirdness and walks over.
“Hi,” he says, unable to contain a smile. “D’you want me to hold him for you?”
“That would actually be amazing,” you reply. “My arms are killing me.”
The sight of Liam asleep in Jamie’s arms is enough to make your brain go oh shit. Because, oh. Shit. This boy is going to break your heart if you’re not careful.
“How’d you like the game?” Jamie asks as you begin to walk to the car park.
“I loved it,” you reply sincerely. “Haven’t actually been to a match since this one.” You pat Liam’s back affectionately. “Kid had a great time too. Talked about meeting Isaac McAdoo the entire match. He’s like some football aficionado in a four-year-old’s body, swear down.”
Jamie’s still smiling as he helps you get Liam into his car seat. “What’re you doing the rest of the night?”
You laugh. “Oh god, I wish I could say going to sleep. But I have to meal prep for the week while Liam’s asleep. Otherwise he gets his sticky fingers in everything. Gonna take a solid two hours, at least.”
Jamie hesitates. It’s now or never. “Could I come over?” he asks. “Can’t cook for shit, but I could keep you company.”
You pause. “Jamie- I don’t know if that’s a good idea.”
But god, you want it so bad.
“I’m being serious,” Jamie says. “Not trying to mess with you. I like you. Think you’re fucking fit. I like being around you and I liked kicking the football around with Liam. He’s a good lad. I think it’s worth giving a try.”
You look at Liam. He’s still fast asleep, oblivious to his mum’s turmoil.
“Alright,” you say, still not looking at Jamie. “Let’s give it a try.”
Jamie grins and ghosts his thumb across your cheek, making you look at him.
“I’m going to kiss you now,” he says. “So now’s your moment to tell me to fuck off.”
You smile. “Can’t say that in front of Liam anyway,” you say as you crash your lips into his.

We're Born At Night

Lady Rhaelle Targaryen of Runestone travels to King's Landing to plead for her sister's life, though the King she must bow to is a kinslayer three times over, and the very man who slaughtered her father

She rocks with the carriage as it rolls over the cobbled streets of King’s Landing. Bricks and tiles in dull shades of red, yellow and browns move past the window, and the air is thick with dust and all sorts of unpleasant smells.
Her heart sinks at the absence of greenery, like the forests and fields that surround Runestone, the sounds of rivers and streams, the bright bursts of colour in the wildflowers. The Red Keep overlooks Blackwater Bay, she remembers that. She loved rising early to watch the sunrise, to see the waves glow red and gold. She loved going down to the beach below the castle to feel the warm summer sun on her face and dip her toes into the cold water.
It is autumn now. Grey clouds dull the sunlight and there is a chill in the air.
Daena sits opposite her, tugging at her sleeves and the collar of her travelling cloak. They are in matching gowns of dark green velvet, newly made for their visit to court; a cheap play for the King’s favour, but she needs all the help she can get.
Her younger sister’s constant fussing is irritating, but Rhaelle cannot blame her.
“You look beautiful, my lady,” says Morra, Rhaelle’s handmaiden who sits beside her, a sharp and observant young woman.
Daena’s harshly violet eyes glare up at her. She gives a small huff and drops her arms into her lap. “I look better in red,” she says.
“Careless talk like that will cost you your tongue the moment we’re through the castle gates,” Rhaelle warns.
Daena tuts and turns her head towards the window. “What an awful place,” she says.
Rhaelle pulls back the thin curtain with the tip of her finger. Miserable faces, crowds of bodies, market stalls, bands of mummers, and an endless array of buildings pass her by. She has prayed to the old gods and the new that their visit to the Red Keep will be short, but that is wishful thinking and she has never been much of an optimist.
Ten years ago she had been hunting with her late mother’s cousin, Ser Gerold, when a raven appeared over the hills, headed for Runestone. It had filled her with an inexplicable dread and she could not understand why until she returned to the castle to learn of the death of Laena Velaryon, her step-mother. Daemon had summoned his eldest three daughters to Driftmark to see her laid to rest and mourn alongside two sisters they had never met. In a matter of days, Ser Laenor was dead too, Daemon had married Princess Rhaenyra on Dragonstone, and had plans for three more marriages.
Their oldest sister, Alyssa, and Prince Jacaerys were married at the Red Keep little more than a month later, she being sixteen and he a boy of ten. Baela was betrothed to Prince Lucerys, and Rhaelle was betrothed to Prince Joffrey, only a babe at the time.
While Rhaelle and Daera had returned to Runestone, Alyssa had remained at Dragonstone with her husband and so her fate had been sealed.
They come to a gatehouse made of red stone, where the banners of House Targaryen loom proudly over the walls and flutter in the breeze. The sight sparks a memory Rhaelle had forgotten she had, and suddenly it feels like she never left this place at all. Her family’s sigil, the three-headed dragon, should be more familiar to her than it really is. She finds more comfort in the colours of white and bronze, black pebbles and the ancient runes of her mother’s house.
She looks down at her own sleeves, at the runes embroidered into the cuffs with golden thread. The right reads the words of House Royce: We remember. On the left though, is a saying far older, so old that no one can truly say where it came from, only that it has been passed down in proverbs amongst those who carry the blood of the first men. Now they are written in books and scripture, carved onto tombs, whispered in prayers said before a weirwood, spoken to her by her mother: Learn to die.
Did those words pass the lips of Rhea Royce when she fell from her horse and cracked her head open on a rock? Did they echo through her mind when she lay in her bed, either unconscious or incoherent for nine days?
Does Alyssa utter them to herself in the darkness of the Black Cells?
The carriage comes to a stop. Rhaelle takes a deep breath, checks that her hair is neatly pinned back, that her gown sits right and that her boots are spotless. There can be no room for weakness here, not where people will judge every move she makes, note every word she says and stare into her eyes as if to read her very thoughts.
The door is opened for her and she steps out into the courtyard clutching the hand of one of her household guards.
Lord Corlys is waiting to greet them by the steps to the castle, dressed in fine robes of sea green and silver. On his collar she spots a gleam of gold, the pin that marks him as the Hand of the King.
When she had last seen Lord Corlys he was the Seasnake, a naval hero who carved out his own legacy and built his seat of Hightide to fill with the trophies of his victories. Now Hightide is nothing more than ruins buried in ash and Lord Corlys is an old man leaning on a cane, with long silver locks, a thick white beard and a tired look in his eyes, the look of a man who has seen his last war.
He offers her a small bow of his head. “Lady Rhaelle, what an honour it is to welcome you to the Red Keep.”
Daena follows her and greets Lord Corlys with a perfect curtsey. He smiles and notes how much they have changed since he last saw them, but they were girls then, young and sweet, only grieving their first loss.
Morra takes their travelling cloaks before Lord Corlys leads them inside, followed by their household guard. The halls are quiet and solemn, the colours she remembers from childhood somehow duller and she wonders if it is because she is older.
Eyes fall to the sisters easily and whispers echo wherever they walk. She hears a faint whisper of “traitor” as they come to the great stairwell in the very heart of the castle. She looks around her and above, up into the cavernous space overhead where faces peer down from balconies and galleries, made hazy by smoke and heat from the braziers.
Traitor, the accusation clings in her stomach and throat, until Daena’s hand gently wraps around her wrist and urges her to walk on. But perhaps the whispers are right. She is the daughter of a traitor, the sister of a traitor, perhaps it is in her blood and she cannot escape it.
They are shown to their chambers in the west wing of the castle. A small reception room joins two privy chambers and two bedchambers beyond that. It is a pity, she would have liked a room where she could see Blackwater Bay or the Kingswood to the south.
Her bedroom is a little smaller than her own bedchamber at Runestone, decorated with tapestries, furnishings and details in green, gold, red and black. She looks from the window, over the towering walls of Maegor’s Holdfast of her lavishly decorated prison, a thought which she immediately reprimands herself for. She will not allow herself such pity, not while her sister is a prisoner.
Alyssa had stayed by her husband’s side through the war, donned a widow’s veil when he fell in battle and decided that she would stay on Dragonstone when Rhaenyra took King’s Landing.
The war went on. Alyssa's letters stopped abruptly. Word came that the commonfolk had revolted against Rhaenyra, and her own betrothed, the boy Joffrey, was slain in the fighting.
Then came the raven from King Aegon. Rhaenyra was dead and their remaining siblings had been taken captive: Little Aegon, Baela, Rhaena, and Alyssa. She can still the words scrawled onto the parchment: “She has been treated with no unnecessary cruelty.”
Aegon wouldn’t have dared lay a hand on Baela and Rhaena, not with Lord Corlys on his small council. Alyssa had no such protection, not with their father rotting alongside the corpse of the dragon at the bottom of the God’s Eye.
And now the man who slaughtered him wears the crown.
Lord Corlys has invited her to dine with him, in his chambers in the Tower of the Hand. Daylight fades swiftly into twilight as she crosses the courtyard that her bedchamber overlooks, past the lowered drawbridge of the Holdfast. With winter approaching, the days are growing shorter.
A servant of Lord Corlys’ leads her up a single flight of stairs, through a reception room and into a small dining hall. The table is set with fine silverware and glass cups, lit by flickering flames of candles and a blazing hearth. Lord Corlys sits at the head of the table and rises to meet her. She offers him her hand, and he presses his lips to her knuckles.
“Is your sister not joining us, my lady?” he asks.
She smiles politely. Daena fears for Alyssa’s life as much as she does, but she is not meant for the delicacy of a negotiation.
Her place is set to his right and as she sits he pours her out a glass of wine. “From the Summer Isles,” he says. “I could never understand why anyone would bother with the stuff that comes from the Arbour.”
“We are lovers of ale and cider in the Vale,” Rhaelle says, “but I trust your taste, my Lord.”
They raise their glasses to each other and take small sips as two servants bring in plates of beef, bread and butter, and roasted vegetables. They move like shadows between the candlelight, their footsteps light, their movements gentle and unobtrusive. They are gone as quickly as they came.
When the door is shut, Lord Corlys leans forward with his elbows on the table and his hands clasped together. He says quietly, “I intend to put your matter to the King in the morning.”
Rhaelle places her glass down on the table, her hand lingering on the base. Sadness suddenly strikes her heart. “You mean you have not spoken to him at all?”
“I have told him you seek to improve your position, and the position of your younger sister, of which he has been supportive.”
“But what about the matters we have discussed?” she asks.
His eyes are distant, settled on nothing in particular. He reaches to take a roll of bread from the table, but he does not eat it, he simply places it on his plate. “Lady Alyssa is an admirable woman, truly. She reminds me much of Baela–”
“Not admirable enough for you to appeal on her behalf,” Rhaelle says sharply. “I only wish to see her returned to her home, to Runestone.”
“In the eyes of the King, she is a traitor to the realm. She challenged the true line of succession.”
“As did you,” she says, “at the start of the war, you pledged your support for Rhaenyra.”
“Aye, I did, for the good of my family, and the cost was great.”
“Greater than siding with those who killed your wife?”
Corlys looks to her with a grave expression. “And Aemond killed your father, but you have come to his court, in the hopes of lobbying him, to plead for his mercy and his favour.”
But that’s different, isn’t it? Her father was a rare presence at Runestone, his name hanging over her head like an unspoken secret. He did not come to lay his first wife to rest, but he had tried to claim her inheritance and had no difficulty condemning their daughter to a marriage that would tie her to a war.
“I just want my sister to be safe,” she utters.
“I want that too,” Lord Corlys says and she can almost believe him.
“When can I speak to him? When will he release her?”
He takes a slow breath. “We must approach this matter with caution,” he says, “and it will be worth your while. Many say Aemond is a far more reasonable man than his brother was.”
“You served them both. What do you have to say on Aemond’s reason?”
A sad look falls over his face. He looks the way he did the day his daughter was buried. “Aemond is just, in his own way, but the Targaryens have always ruled with fire and blood, and he is no exception.”
When she returns to her bedchamber, she finds Daena curled up on a chaise by the dying hearth.
“She wished to see you after your dinner with Lord Corlys,” Morra mutters as Rhaelle fetches a blanket from the bed and drapes it over her sister. “It has been a tedious few months, and I do not doubt she is tired after the journey from Runestone.”
As a child, Rhaelle often wondered if she and her sisters had been born cursed. They had inherited nothing of their father’s looks save for his violet eyes; three Targaryen girls with dark curls and the stern face of their mother. Daena has always had a softness that she and Alyssa never had, a fuller face, a smaller nose, slight but pouted lips and large eyes. She looks like a doll, even in sleep.
She smooths her hand over Daena’s head, lightly so she will not disturb her, like she used to do when she was a babe. Daena makes a small humming noise in her chest but does not rouse.
She wishes her sister could rise from her sleep well rested, to a world where she would never know fear or uncertainty. Such a possibility seems close; in her heart she chases it like a hare, a flash of movement through a forest. She need only draw an arrow and strike her target.

Rhaelle is awake before dawn. By the time Daena will have started to stir, Morra has her bathed, skin scrubbed with sugar and honey then scented with lavender oil, dressed, then adds the finishing touches to her hair. She takes the top half and braids it around Rhaelle’s head like a crown, the rest falling freely down her back. With no Queen, the ladies of the court are said to follow the fashions of Princess Rhaenyra and Queen Helaena. If she is to be a lady of Aemond’s court, a Targaryen, she must appear the part.
She breaks her fast in her privy chamber. Servants bring in jugs of cherry juice, bowls of sweet stewed oats, platters of blackberry tarts and slices of apple dusted with sugar and cinnamon. The sun rises over the courtyard and a pale shade of red shines through the window where the light reflects from the red stone of the Holdfast.
Daena bounces into the room like an excitable child and takes a blackberry tart before she has even taken a seat. She will need to work on her table manners before she dines before the King and his court, Rhaelle notes. Her hair has been brought into one thick braid that falls over her shoulder and her gown is black, like Rhaelle’s, but detailed with silver rather than gold.
“What did Lord Corlys say to you last night?” she asks, following her pastry with a sip of cherry juice.
“He said that he means to put our cause to the King, and that we must employ patience.”
Daena scoffs, “patience?”
Rhaelle shares a pointed look with Morra, standing by the table. “We have no other choice,” she says, “and you will mind what you say, even in private, even when you think we are alone.”
“I thought the Master of Whispers had been put to death, or does Larys Strong still manage to spy on the Kingdom without a head?”
“And will you continue to slander the King if I find a smith to wrench out your tongue?”
Daena glares at her, then pouts her lips to stifle a giggle.
They finish their meal in relative peace and when they are done, Rhaelle is left with a pleasantly sharp sweetness on her tongue from the fruit. Morra adorns her with jewellery, all gold and set with rubies, a chain about her waist, earrings and a necklace. For the final touch she dabs tinted rosewater on her cheeks and lips.
“They say he’s terribly dull,” Daena says, patiently waiting her turn.
Rhaelle frowns at her through the mirror. “The King?”
“Tyland fucking Lannister– yes, the King.”
Prince Joffrey had been far too young to be her escort to the wedding of Alyssa and Prince Jacaerys. Aegon was already betrothed to Helaena, and so on the day of the festivities Rhaelle had been presented with a sombre looking, silver-haired Prince. He frowned constantly, which she did not doubt had something to do with the cut through his left eye. The wound and his skin was red, held together with stitches. He often had his hands balled into fists, breathing deeply through his nose as though he was in pain. He tried to talk to her about his studies, and asked her about the histories of Runestone and House Royce. He led her through one dance after dinner before he retreated to his chambers. She had despaired with Alyssa the next day that she hadn’t been allowed to be escorted by any other young man of the court. That boy is a man now, and a kinslayer thrice over.
“Better a dull King than a drunk King, I suppose,” she says quietly.
“Who’s a slanderer now?” Daena says with a wicked smile.
There are less clouds in the sky this morning. Sunlight bleeds through tall windows and floods the halls of the castle. It is more lively now, servants hurry about with baskets of food and fresh linens, men and women in all their finery walk through courtyards and galleries, though most are gathering at the throne room.
Rhaelle and Daena stay arm in arm, until they reach the entrance hall and the great oak doors that lead into the great hall.
“These carvings are new,” Rhaelle wonders aloud. The stone is cleaner here than it is in the rest of the castle, images of dragons carved into walls, pillars and archways.
She hears the ominous hum of voices on the other side of the doors. She can picture them, the staring faces like a pack of wolves eager to sink their teeth and claws into the daughters of Daemon Targaryen.
And she can picture the Iron Throne, where her uncle once sat with the golden crown of the Consolidator atop his head.
Daena leans in close to Rhaelle’s ear, tightening her hold on her arm. “But he was a dragonrider, and a warrior, surely he cannot be so dull.”
She tries to imagine that boy from the wedding feast, his serious expression, his round little face, a single sad blue eye darting around the hall. Then she imagines a killer, a bloodthirsty monster with fangs for teeth and talons for hands. She cannot place them in the same body.
“They say he has a sapphire set in the empty socket, but that he wears an eyepatch so as not to frighten the ladies at court.”
She has heard of this story, like Ser Symeon star eyes. “How considerate of him,” Rhaelle adds, glancing over her shoulder but no one seems to have heard them. She clenches her jaw and takes slow, steady breaths in the hopes that it will calm her nerves, just enough to get through this ordeal.
“I wonder if he is handsome?” Daena adds.
He’ll be wearing the Conqueror’s Crown, Valyrian steel and set with square rubies, the same worn by his brother, by Maegor the Cruel. She has only seen it in history books.
“There were awful rumours about Aegon, but he has his own now, doesn’t he?”
He will surely have Blackfyre by his side too, unless he managed to claim Dark Sister from their father’s hands once he was slain. Would he take it as a trophy of war? The thought makes her stomach churn.
“The Harrenhal whore,” Daena hisses.
This tale she is also familiar with. Aemond had marched to Harrenhal and left King’s Landing undefended. When he arrived at that cursed castle and heard the news that he had lost the capital, he slaughtered all of House Strong for treachery, save for a bastard woman, some kind of servant who he took as a bedmate. “He made her Lady of Harrenhal,” she adds, much to the ire of the realm’s Lords.
"A generous patron then," Daena chuckles, and then she falters. She lowers her voice even further till it is scarcely a breath against Rhaelle’s ear. “Will he kill Alyssa too?”
A familiar feeling of fear strikes her in her chest, squeezing on her heart and lungs. She can make no promises, not before she hears the sound of wood creaking as the doors are swung open and the voice of Ser Willis Fell calls, “Lady Rhaelle Targaryen of Runestone, and her sister, Lady Daena Targaryen!”
She drops Daena’s hand on instinct and takes a step before her like a sworn shield. The hungry faces stare up at them but she looks ahead, to the Iron Throne, to the man who sits amongst the mass of swords.
He is too distant for her to make out the details of his face, but they become clearer as she walks through the hall. If there are any whispers of “traitor,” she does not hear them.
The crown sits proudly upon his head of silver hair, long enough to pass his shoulders and fall to his chest. He is dressed all in black with no other distinguishable colours other than the silver buckles on his jerkin, and wears an eyepatch over the left side of his face.
She stops at the base of the steps leading up to the throne, knowing Daena is lingering behind her. Now she sees more of him, the line of his scar, the sharp angles of his face, his jaw, his cheeks, his nose. Most of all her attention is drawn to his mouth, to the curve of his lips, the way they settle in an expression that could almost be amused, were it not for the look of fury and hunger in his remaining eye, which is violet, like her father’s, like hers.
Lord Corlys stands by his side, but she keeps her eyes on the King and curtseys as deeply as she can. She feels her legs trembling under her skirt, her hands shaking by her sides no matter how she wills them to stop. Aemond stares at her all the while, not sparing a glance for Daena who will be following her lead.
“My King,” she says, only to find her jaw is trembling too. She dare not take her eyes from Aemond, should he take it as a sign of weakness.
She knows the words she must say, Lord Corlys had been very specific, but there’s a thick feeling in her throat, a reluctance that she never had before, now that Aemond’s one eye is boring into her very soul.
She allows herself a breath. “My King, my sister and I have come to renounce the pretender, Rhaenyra, and all those who supported her treason, including our late father–” her eyes fall to the ground before she can stop herself.
“You have come to ask something of me, cousin?” Aemond says. His voice, hauntingly gentle, draws her eyes back up to him.
“We have come to beg your forgiveness, and pledge our undying love and fealty to you,” she bows her head once more, “the one true King.”
Relief lifts a weight from her body but fear creeps under her skin like a fever, burning and chilling all at once. Murmurs fill the air and she hears Daena let out an exhale of breath, further away than she had expected her to be.
She keeps her head down as she sees movement in front of her, as the murmurs die down and the sound of tauntingly slow footsteps approach her where she kneels.
“Rise, my Lady,” Aemond says.
She does as she is instructed, straightens her body, her neck, and the last thing she lifts is her gaze.
There is something sinister in the intensity of his eye as it moves about her face, the care he takes in reaching for her hand and pressing an achingly light kiss to it that lingers on her skin, but then he does not let her go. He holds his hand firmly over hers as if to keep his kiss there. “You shall be an honoured guest in my court, Lady Rhaelle.”
She cannot tell if this is kindness or a butcher calming a lamb before the slaughter.
He goes to Daena and kisses her hand, but he does not hold her the way he did Rhaelle.
“Those of my blood who are loyal shall always have a place at my court,” he says to the hall and is met with a cautious applause.
Rhaelle meets Daena’s eye as they turn to face the crowd. Her sister frowns innocently, wide eyes begging for an explanation. Why should they trust him? Why should they have to appeal to him when they played no part in the war, when they did not challenge his brother’s inheritance? Why should they beg for forgiveness from a kinslayer King?
Aemond looks over his subjects with his head held high and his hands behind his back. He carries no sword, just a knife tucked in on his right hip. He does not regard his people with the warmth of King Viserys, instead he watches them like he’s looking for fear, like he thrives in it.
And he is so utterly captivating.

Do you think you can go into more detail about Alicent catching Aegon going down on sister!reader 👀 that fic was so good and I love all the little mentions to things they’ve done together
Tumblr media
Caught in the Act
Warnings: implied underage sex (consensual between two teens), cunnlingus, mentions of sex, being caught, Aegon not being a total sex god lol
Aegon always wanted to try it with you, especially after seeing it done in a brothel. He'd been younger then, and much less skilled in bed as he is now. But he saw how the woman reacted, and wanted to give you similar pleasure. He often felt, even at 16, that he did not do enough for you.
So when you two finished your lessons for the day, he brought you to his chambers where he claimed to have a surprise for you. Intrigued, you followed him and closed your eyes when bid. When you opened them again, Aegon was on his knees and already lifting your skirts. He explained what he wished to do, and the suggestion made your body heat ignite.
Kissing and caressing one another as clothes came off, the pair of you eventually ended up on the window sill. You sat on the ledge while he spread your legs apart. He'd only touched you here, so he thought kissing would be the same. Sliding his tongue around your folds, he only heard soft mewling that made him hard. He occasionally glanced up, hoping he was doing something, anything, to arouse you. You shifted around to guide him, so he tried following you.
By the time anything happened, his jaw and tongue ached slightly. "Aegon, my love, do you know what you're doing?" You asked, more amused than mad.
"I do," he defended, lying flat out. He'd die if you thought he could not pleasure you. "I've been taught by the finest brothel madams in the city."
"Then they were terrible teachers," you smiled, kissing him with reassurance. "I'll teach you."
And you did. The sounds you made were...so arousing. His tongue found the hard pearl between your velvety lips and slowly rolled around it. You moaned and grabbed his head to keep him there. He caught you gripping the ledge; he felt you trembling and tensing underneath him. He sucked the juices spilling from your entrance, which he dipped his tongue to taste and make you moan loudly. Soon, you were cumming and he groaned into your sex, satisfied that he'd brought you there. When you'd bent to kiss him, about to return the favor, a voice broke you apart.
"What are you two doing?!"
She startled both of you. Mother, in her green and gold gown and hair held back by a golden band, stood by the door in pure shock. Immediately, you both fell to the bed near the window, bashful and embarrassed by her presence. Aegon hid his erection under layers of sheets, and you put some over your naked form.
"He didn't put it, Mother," you blurted out in hopes to simmer her anger. "He was only..."
"I know what he was doing, Y/N," she said, that usual disappointing tone in her voice. "You two know better. Your both nearly grown, how can you be so thoughtless? Anyone walking by could've heard you. Ugh..." both of you could tell she'd forgotten her real reason for walking in unannounced. "Just get dressed. The both of you. I'll be sending Septa Jeyne to check on you. I cannot believe...Never in all my days..."
Silence followed her departure. Once you were sure she was gone, you reached through the blankets for his cock. "You heard Mother," he laughed, still hard but forcing it away, "Septa Jeyne will raise hell if she catches us." But your mischievous grin always melted his defenses. He kissed you passionately, and gave himself over to your expert hands and lips.
Septa Jeyne arrived right as he was helping you into your bodice. Mother never said anything about it, but Aegon suspects she preferred pretending she'd never seen it.

A/N: I wrote this at work, can’t you tell lmfao I absolutely love writing about dad!aegon and his sister-wife, so I’ll take requests on them any day <3

Kinktober - Temperature Play NSFW - Adults Only
Tumblr media
Fires roared in the massive hearths around the hall, filling the chamber with dancing light and oppressive heat. Men and women of Asgard gathered around tables to drink and share stories of victory. Others danced in knots between musicians.
A drip of sweat ran down your spine under your gown. The wine warmed you as much from the inside as the fires did from the outside. The noise and ruckus behavior of everyone at the party began to rake at your nerves. If you had an excuse to leave you would.
“Such a frown on such a lovely face.” A deep silky voice spoke in your ear.
You smiled up at the angular face of the God of Mischief. His lithe build is a beautiful contraction to the brutish forms of the Asgardian court. Your voice was sweet despite your words. “My head is tired of the endless bragging. My feet are sore because if sit I cannot avoid unwanted conversation. I’d rather leave but I cannot go unless my father does or I’m ordered to. And I’m hot. It’s making me cranky.”
“Ah, yes.” Loki smiled. “I understand your dilemma. Poor thing.”
You felt his fingers trail over your shoulder blade and down your spine. It felt like cool water washing over your baking skin. Sweet relief stole your breath and made your body shiver.
Head snapping around, you found yourself standing alone.
You searched the crowd, but could not see him.
Another sot moved forward as if to engage you, so you quickly skirted the edge of the crowd. Still, you searched for the raven-haired son of Odin. You spot him leaning against a great column, partially hidden in shadow. He stared back, stoking his neck.
Cold invisible fingers stroked your jaw, slid down your neck, and trailed over the top of your breasts. You shivered again, fighting to keep eye contact with him. Your pulse picked up and you felt your nipples tighten against the silk of your gown. The corner of his mouth quirked up as if he knew exactly how your body reacted.
One man bodily threw another into a group of drinkers, kicking off a fight. With the brief distraction, you lost sight of Loki again.
Cold fingers moved your hair aside. You froze. Loki spoke quietly in your ear. “That fight could get out of hand. I think it’s my duty to remove you from any danger.”
You watched the growing fight. “Are you ordering me to leave with you, my lord?”
“Ah, yes.” He slid his hands gently down your arms. “A Prince of Asgard is ordering you to follow him, for your own wellbeing.”
“Yes, my lord.”
You felt his lips tickle your ear. “Oh, I like the sound of that.”
You followed the God of Mischief away from the grand hall. With each step the excitement and anticipation in your stomach grew. The roar of the gathering fell away only to be replaced by the sound of your own heart. You knew Loki, knew him so well that his voice and touch haunted your sleep.
Loki paused in the empty hallway. His smile grew and he waved a hand over one of the carved stones in the wall. The stone melted away to expose a dark doorway. “After you, my dear.”
You stepped through the entrance to find yourself in a dark bed chamber. Large windows looked over Asgard. Somehow you now stood well outside the city, high in the mountains. Various candles flared to life around the room to supplement the illumination of the stars.
“This is quite the getaway.” You turned back to Loki, seeing the doorway no gone.
“And it’s far enough away no one can hear you scream.” Loki smiled wickedly as a green light shimmered over his body. The fine royal armor disappeared, leaving him naked. He was not as large as some of the others, but his body was lithe and hard.
Your breath came quickly as he moved toward you like a predatory beast. As stepped in front of you, an icy shower poured down your body as your own clothes vanished from his magic. His hand gripped your jaw to turn your face to his. His lips began with a soft touch, but as his tongue delved into your mouth his kiss became demanding.
A soft mewl escaped your throat.
Wrapping his arms around you, he lifted you off your feet without breaking the kiss. Your legs wrapped around his waist. He maneuvered through the room, tossing you upon the bed. Loki leaned over you, one knee upon the bed. He lifted both your arms above your head and tied them with soft silken rope.
You watched his eyes drift over your body, the ever-present mischief lighting his eyes.  His fingertips trailed from the hollow of your throat to your hard nipple. His touch as cold as ice. Goosebumps blossomed on your skin and your nipples ached.
A moan escaped as his mouth descended on your breast, sucking hard. His hot tongue brought blessed relief and turned your insides molten. He lavished attention across your chest and moved to nip at your neck.
Loki’s long fingers slipped between your legs, finding you wet and ready for him. Your hips rocked against his hand as he fucked you with his fingers. You felt him smile against the skin of your neck. His thumb brushed your sensitive clit. His touch turned to sudden ice.
You gasped, back arching, and hips pushing into the mattress. Your nerves lit up.
“Don’t run from me.” Loki growled. His touch, freezing cold, rubbed along your heated, sensitive flesh.
Your body shook. Nerves on fire. Senses confused. “Oh, gods!”
“That’s it.” He crawled down to kneel between your legs. The whisper of his heated breath crashed against the frozen touch of his fingers. You trembled. As his tongue lapped at your wetness, you tugged at the bindings for the first time. You desperately wanted to touch him.
Wet, messy sounds filled the room as his fingers pumped in your wet cunt. His mouth nipped and sucked at sensitive flesh. Fire coiled. Your thighs quivered. Curses and cries fell from your lips. Hot and cold. Every nerve screamed for release.
“Loki, please!”
His dark laugh filled your ears as you felt his mouth paint a wet trail up your body. As you sucked his tongue into your mouth, he buried his cock deep. Loki inhaled your scream.
He hiked your legs higher as he came up on his knees. Deep and fast, Loki pounded into you. With hands bound and legs high around his waist, you could only succumb to his whim. Your legs began to shake.
Loki brought your ankle to his mouth, kissing your flesh. “Hold it.” His grip tightened. “Do not come yet. Don’t.”
You breathed deep. Not able to release the intense feeling. Instead it spread, making your chest warm and feet tingle. You watched Loki’s face tighten. His brows drew together. Mouth opened. His fingers gripped you with bruising strength.
“Loki!,” You plead. “God, Loki! Please!”
“Yes!” His hips snapped faster, pushing you into the bed.
Heat bloomed over your body. The intensity stole your breath. So strong. Too much. Loki’s ice cold fingers thrummed against your clit. Shock exploded through your body. The world exploded.
Loki rode through your orgasm, chasing his own, pushing you deep into the mattress, until his roared his own release.
His body covered yours. Absently, you realize your freedom to stroke his back and hair. Loki pulled you close and rolled over. You found yourself draped over him. He smelled so good. Your nose rubbed into his chest. You bounced slightly as he lightly laughed.
“What?” You managed to ask.
“It’s a good thing I brought us here.” Loki kissed your hair. “You did indeed scream.”

THE WEDDING NIGHT FIC NO ONE ASKED FOR YET I WROTE FT. PATHETIC GOJO & PATHETIC READER & THEIR BLURRY PATHETIC FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER... [I'VE NEVER WRITTEN SMUT BEFORE, SO PLEASE BE KIND TO ME 🥹🥹]
Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru is much too similar to fire, you suppose— so vivid always, so warm always, so protective always– yet not without the promise of destruction simmering within the sweet blue blaze of his eyes — Very much the reflection yet the contrast to how you resemble the air— so empty, so hollow, so fucking void.
Nice thoughts to think of yourself on your wedding night, aren't they?
Certainly not, you scoff inwardly, toying with the band of sapphire on your left hand. Yet... you cannot, or rather, do not do anything to stop them from sneaking past the defenses you've guarded yourself with– into that twisted, sick, pathetic mess of neurons and darkness you're ashamed to call your mind nowadays.
The noise of the shower tumbles into a sudden hush. An equally quiet sigh escapes you, fingers moving from your jewellery to trace the tiny floral design on the off-white gown– your brain somewhat registering the bathroom door being opened then shut.
"Y'know, mint ice cream might've be— whoa, is that my wife crying?"
Less than one nanosecond elapses before you find your perch on the edge of the bed being crowded by six-feet-three-inches of white hair, chiselled face, toned abs and worry— Oh My Fucking God, the worry swirling in those damned eyes of his— Mustering chuckles and grins, you move to scoot away from him, ready to brush your husband away with some half-baked something, when you feel him draw you closer and place two warm palms on the apples of your cheeks– both gentle and firm in the fashion they cradle your face— they cradle your entire being in this moment.
Cheer trickling away from your countenance, you hear him whisper in an unbelievably contrite tone, "You're mad because you did not get to eat the last piece of cake– because I stole it away, isn't it so? Y'know... we can always visit the bakery we ordered the cake from and I'll order the same flavour we chose for our wedding cake, and you can steal as many bites as you want from my plate— guess, that will make us kind of equals, huh?"
Equals, huh? Equals, huh? Equals. Huh?
"No," you snap, betraying the smile you've been struggling to keep on your lips, "We'll never be equals, Satoru. I mean, yeah— in dumb stuff like these, we might be equals or whatever you believe in. But, in life– do you really think we're going to be equals, huh? Do you think there'll ever be a reality, ever be a world where we might be equals, huh?"
Thumbs stilling over the tear tracks they were oh-so-very insistent on wiping away, he blinks at you. Once. Twice. Thrice— You groan, trying to remove yourself from the man whose mere presence is fermenting your inside. Searing your skin. Twisting and turning your mind into an even greater mess than it's ever been– One you know you cannot find yourself from, if once lost to.
Large fingers curling round your left ankle stop you in your attempts.
"I think so," Satoru offers softly, the unblemished smooth porcelain of his skin streaked with gravitas, you've seldom seen in the many years you've known him yet know becomes him too perfectly– You chuckle, shaking your head.
"This isn't only you and me. This is the world I'm talking about. This is our world I'm talking about. Do you really think they'll ever let a lady— married, that too— stand beside her husband, and not behind him?"
The grasp on your ankle loosens for a beat.
Something cracks and splinters and shatters within yourself.
Something you never knew existed before now— something you wish to ignore, so fucking desperately, now that you know it exists.
Shaky whoosh of pain leaving, you kick your foot free of the hold on it and scoot backwards on the mattress, screwing your eyes shut – as if them being closed will make you blind to the response your query has gathered by not gathering any at all— every iota in your body loathing the way your emotions well over and down your dusted cheeks— way too much, way too quick for your liking—
Large fingers curl round your left knee this time, preventing you from your retreat by pulling you towards their owner yet again — Little that does to dampen your efforts, though.
Or, the scald in that tender part in that tender mess of muscles and blood– pulses and impulses– you've never liked lots, for that matter.
"Let me go," you growl, legs shifting and flexing and extending to free themselves. The soft covers on the bed crinkle and crumple from the fight you put up against the forces reeling you in. "Let me go, Satoru," you snarl one more time, trying your best to keep your desperation in the cloth you've wrapped it in, not letting its pus leak into your words, "Let go of me, now. Satoru. Or, I swear— Gojo!!"
"Sweetness."
Some other reality and you think you might find this enticing. Loving, even, if you're being particularly, delusionally sappy then.
Yet, in this reality, in this moment, as you find yourself on the edge of the bed, legs hanging off it whilst your husband traps the rest of your body beneath him, one good foot between him and your supine form — and he calls you that horrid nickname with that horrid smile– as if you're sweet like those kikufuku mochis he loves eating– and not the most sour, the most salty, the most bitter person he has ever met—
You let the fight seep from yourself into the horrible rose-scented air of the room, wretched wails clawing out instead of growls and snarls.
"I can't do this anymore, Satoru," you sob, chest heaving beneath the bodice of your gown, the pearl necklace snug on your skin stifling, "It is just so difficult— This world. This life. Everything is so fucking very difficult. And confusing. And demanding. And difficult— I cannot do- I cannot live this way with the entire world's eyes trained on me," you cry out; the stinging in your eyes, in your throat, in your soul growing worse with every other word you utter, "I simply cannot live with my–"
"And what if only my eyes are trained on you?" Satoru interrupts you, mouth set into thin lines; though the concern and affection sparkling in his gaze is unmistakeable, you note, peering up through your thick curtain of tears and emotions— being close friends since you were a pair of kids learning to read and write, does have its perks after all —
"Tell me, sweetness," A finger hooks under your chin to lift it up; your suffocating pearl necklace comes off within the next instant– "What if I told you, proved to you: you don't need to worry yourself with any person; anyone, anywhere, anytime in your life; not when they aren't a part of your world—" A sturdy arm hooks under your back this time, lifting you with ease off the bed, until you're in your husband's strong grip: loose to not give you any degree of discomfort yet tight enough for you to be assured he won't be dropping you—
You wrap your arms gingerly round his neck. He asks, dropping his voice to the lowest, to the gravest you've ever heard him, "What if I showed you, your world can consist only of us— only you and me— will you..."
He trails off suddenly, gaze darting to the side before it returns to you again— it's burning. Burning, burning, burning – Stoking a fire in your nerves, in your veins, in the pit of your lower belly, perhaps in the area nether to it too— Your husband's lips curve in the gentlest shape ever seen on him, quite betraying or, maybe, complimenting the hints and clues of that something, evident from the way his fingers flex on your back for the tiniest moment or the way the shadows of the night shift and morph in the brilliance of his gaze—
"You wanna prove to me w-whatever you said right now," you state in what Satoru calls your 'weather-reporter' voice. A brow rises before it returns to its place again– the man addressed nods. Solemn. Certain.
The muscles in your shoulders relax, opposing the muscles tautening elsewhere in your body– not from fear, no. Perhaps from anticipation, you reckon. Or, maybe it is from fear– except it isn't a fear of the man in front of you— The Strongest Sorcerer, capable of turning anything and everything, anyone and everyone, into dust if he so wishes to—
Except he doesn't. Never has. Not without a solid good reason— Oh, this sweet, sweet man— For once in your life, you decide not to stay dwelling on your thoughts, on your twisted, sick, pathetic mind— all for the sake of your husband, him looking at you as if you really are a delectable mochi he wants to devour.
Oh, what a sweet fool your husband is, isn't he?
Moving your hands from where they were resting on his nape to your front, wedging into the little space between Satoru's and your bodies, you inquire, choosing your words soft yet solemn, "And... are you sure you wanna do this tonight? That you won't be regretting—"
"I can do this tonight and every other night," Satoru replies, without letting you complete your query. Then grins, loads like that shy boy, you remember, attempting to befriend you with a pebble– blue and white and blue, years back when you still pronounced 'star' as 'tar'.
You let your palms face away from your chest to rest on his— still, so warm and uncovered from the shower he took— still so, so open and vulnerable to you, in spite of the slashes and gashes dear friends like you, like that damn boy, have only ever given him— He asks, "Do you wanna let me do this?"
A slow yet sure nod is the only thing you manage to offer him in reply.
That slow yet sure nod's also the only thing remaining crystal-clear in your mind— besides, obviously—
Those kisses, so shaky yet so fiery, pressed onto your lips, your chin, the hollow of your neck, the valley between your breasts, down down down, until they reached your thighs— And they grew less of adoring and more of wanting– with muffled moans and withheld whimpers— your lips constantly forming the syllables of your husband's name, as the man himself suckled purple splotches of his desire onto the flesh out there— Besides, obviously—
The sharp gasp of breath your husband made when he tasted you for the first time and you felt shame flood every nook and cranny of your naked body — how the gown or the lingerie were removed from your torso, you've no clue...—before the shame swelled into something far different, far pleasurable, with every lick, every nibble, every hum and every groan muffled into your sensitive tissue and bundle of nerves— steady in the beginning but rapidly growing in intensity, frequency or must you say ferocity, with every moment he spends with his head in between your legs—
And you came. Embarrassed. Ecstatic. Experiencing everything lying on the spectrum between them. Onto his waiting tongue, over his—
"Ah! S-Satoru–"
You're ripped back to the present by the feel of him entering you.
The stretch hurts— as much as you've read in books, as much as you have been told in extremely discreet terms by the older women in the clan— but never once has this feeling been described to you to be- so fucking perfect, so fucking right— as the one flooding your senses in this very instant—
Two blue eyes lift from where they were squeezed close against your forehead, slick with the sheen of sweat, blinking down at you with so much care, you think you may burst from how much of it you note in them hues— the dams holding your tears back sure do, increasing in the degree they allow your emotions gush out, courtesy of the palms mapping your flushed cheeks, caressing your flushed cheeks, almost as if you're some porcelain doll.
"Hey, hey, hey," Satoru croons, pausing himself entirely– despite the toll it takes on him, visible from the way his face scrunches for a tiny moment before wrinkling into lines of worry and apology again– "It's hurting, isn't it?" he asks, then lowers his voice to a whisper, directed more at himself than at you if its rambling quality is anything. "Fuck," he curses, removing his palms from your face, and curling them into tight fists on either side of your face, "This was my first time. And I— I, I know I should have been more careful, still I went and fucked up–"
"Satoru," you say, blinking your tears away, splaying your fingers onto the smooth planes of his cheeks, hoping he'll quieten on noticing the small smile on your lips.
"– caused you pain, oh fucking hell–"
When is he going to shut up?
"Satoru," you try again, tone growing more insistent than the previous time, fingers moving up to scratch the backside of his ears — to trace the shell of his ears.
"– I was so fucking ignorant, selfish–"
Is he ever going to shut up?
"'Toru!" you exclaim with a mild tug on his hair. That seems to be your trick in shutting him up— though you don't miss the way the muscles in his arms flex nor the way his fists grow tighter at your action. Smile widening on your lips, watching him train every bit of his attention on you, and only you; you pull him down for a small kiss— a desperation you've been trying to ignore for a while now– blooming in the motion of your mouth against his, with his—
Perhaps, from the way you hate him blaming himself for doing totally nothing wrong. Perhaps, from the way you detest the lack of friction, his irrational rambling has created down there where you want it, you need it the most— Perhaps, from a mix of both these reasons.
Removing yourself a touch from him, you whine into the plushness of his lips, breathless, dizzy, needy, "Move, Satoru. I think I can take it— Oh, that's it, Satoru," your words taper off into a breathy sigh, "F-fuck—"
In retrospect, you reckon you'll be mortified, probably to death, when you'll let your mind drift back to tonight's events in the future– to how messy you sound with your moans, how messy you possibly look with your makeup smudged from tears and sweat— yet, now— in this very second, you deem you're having the best time of your life.
With Satoru's constant grunts and moans of "Fuck, you're taking me so well, sweetness" and incessant chants of "This– you, you're mine– only mine, as I'm yours"— With him drowning your skin in long, lavish kisses and suckles— With him toying with your hardened nipples and giving your breasts a deliciously painful squeeze—
But, mostly, with the way your husband fits you– so snug, so tight, so warm– every drag of his hip against yours sending a jolt of electricity through your nerves, making your heels dig deeper into his back, and your hold tighter round him, nails raking across his undercut, eliciting a pleased groan from him– though, they're no match for those noises you make when he hits that spot inside, again and again and again, a rapidly growing precision in every next thrust—
"'T-Toru– I'm close- sooo close," you whimper, nuzzling your nose into his neck, breathing in his scent— musky, sweaty, sultry— "Just a little more, sweetness," Satoru begs, keeping an arm beneath your back to pull you even closer to himself— as if that is possible anymore— "You are squeezing me so well— oh fuck."
Your walls clench round him particularly tightly, signalling to you that you're indeed very, very close— despite the haze of pleasure steadily building over your gaze, you wear a fond smile at the half-lidded look he pins on you, his mouth hanging open, whilst his palm presses into your lower back. Subtly trembling, yet so anchoring.
You decide this is your new favourite look of The Six Eyes, the former being the staggered look he gives your smug grin whenever you best him in a fight.
He really is sweet, isn't he?
Another moan permeates into the air, into your thoughts, punctuated by your husband brushing his lips with yours. They are soft— as does every other facet of him feel to you. Movements growing sloppier yet faster, he heaves a husky sigh into your ear, teeth grazing its shell.
"You're really perfect, y'know," he all but whines with a rather dragged out snap of his hips with yours— Eyes fluttering close from the action tightening the coil in your lower belly, you force out a weak chuckle. "I know that I'm per— Oh Sato— mmph!"
Your climax hits you.
Hard, harsh and unforgiving— the wave of euphoria it wreaks through your body is, streaking your vision with nonsensical streaks of colours and cloaking your ears with a deafening ringing— your only tether the soft pair of lips gently coaxing you to dance with it to a melody you've never heard— but hope can hear and learn in the years left in your life— until you're back in the large bed of your hotel room, body sore and and tingling, but in a pretty satisfied and happy way— at least, till you notice your husband scooting away from you to the edge of the bed.
Wha–How–When did he get from being inside you to there—
"Hey, no!" you protest, dragging him down to lie on top of you. Satoru looks at you, shock evident in the way he slowly blinks— You plaster a mighty frown on yourself, asking him, worried, "Where are you going? You haven't fini—"
"But I have finished," your husband answers your incomplete ask with a frown to match yours— before a confused moment passes and you find his frown slowly melt away into a million-watt beam, him asking, "Didn't you feel me come too then, sweetness? Or, did I give you that good an orgasm that you were numb to everything else then, huh?"
Embarrassment flushes through your body at your husband's teasing remark. Ignoring it, you clear your throat to hum back with a smile, "I guess that was the case, yeah. You were really nice tonight— thanks." Then add, watching him open his mouth, the familiar gloom of regret threatening to dim his happiness, "And don't worry about then— I too— This was my first time too, and, um," you wish you could look away for a beat to regain your composure but the sparkles gleaming in the blue eyes gazing at you, are so magnetic— you continue with a laugh, sheepish, staring back at him, "I might have overreacted to the pain."
Whatever chuckle you were expecting never comes; rather, a tender kiss arrives on each of your eyelids, and on the tip of your nose. Your lips part in a content smile, widening on hearing the query sent your way.
"And was I just as great at proving to you what I promised to, huh?"
Your mind races back to then— the dark hollow plaguing you before he arrived. You pull it back to now— the radiance of your husband in every minute portion of your soul, filling it with a cosiness you know only he can impart to you.
"You so were," you're quick to hum back your agreement, paired with a peck to his lips, as he positions himself to lie comfortably atop you. He's quite a bit heavy, what with being so buff and tall– but you think you don't really mind it— not when he's incomparably better than the weighted blankets you've always liked sleeping with.
A hand rises to card through your tangled hairstyle, separating every strand from the other, carefully and gently— you wonder if he knows he does the same to your tangled thoughts too, unknotting them via few select words and few select gestures—
"You've the 'philosopher' face on," your husband's entertained remark interrupts your cloud of thoughts– you drag your eyes from that scar in his throat– one which never fails to throttle whatever sense of safe you might've developed– to the hues before, far more gleaming than the sapphires sitting on your fourth finger can ever be—
Satoru smiles. That annoying, understanding, endearing smile of his, which only serves to show just how much he has been forced by life to be matured. And murmurs.
"We're really equals in this partnership, y'know? You can always share with me whatev—"
"Is it wrong of me to compare you to fire and me to air?"
Your simple question catches The Strongest Sorcerer off-guard- you gather from the way his eyes widen and his heartbeat stutters a little over the bare flushed skin of your chest— you wonder if you must be happy at this silly victory or be worried, you have such a hold on him—
Something tells you, he won't mind either one of them — taking each into stride with a pitiful pout or a cheerful chuckle — the exact same way letting your inquiry settle into him, he responds with a grin in too short a span of time.
"Nope! Not at all!" Satoru exclaims, grin growing and digging dimples into his cheeks. "Obviously I'm fire! Have you seen me? I'm so fucking sizzling hot!" Despite the fondness swelling in your heart, you make a big show of rolling your eyes and moving to scoff — except that scoff remains lodged in your throat and gets swallowed by a gasp of shock as you find yourself being flipped over, so that it's you who is lying on the top now.
Grin growing freer and truer, your husband pulls you impossibly close to himself – so much so that the bounderies separating you from him begin to blur in your eyes; and resumes—
"And you, sweetness, of course, are air– without whose 21% oxygen, the fire cannot even be ignited in the first place."

“Genya, you cannot be serious.”
She smirked at your reflection in the mirror, a look of mock offense on her face.
“Y/n, whatever do you mean?”
She stifled a laugh as she continued pinning up your hair, plunging a few more pins into your hair. Her levity made your mood more sour and resentful.
“I’m glad you’re having fun with this,” you spat back petulantly. “I am not wearing this.”
You gestured down at the emerald green gown that Genya had procured for the occasion. It was a beautiful piece of handiwork, no argument there, but on you? It looked preposterous. You’d never seen this much of your own skin before, and the thought of wearing this in front of Ravka’s nobility made your stomach turn. The neckline was low - dangerously low, you thought, as you tried to pull the watery-smooth silk higher up on your chest to cover more of your decolletage. The side slit running up your leg was so high it felt immodest. With a well-placed breeze or a misstep on the dance floor, you worried that all of Ravkan royalty would get a healthy look at your backside.
“Oh, stop being so dramatic,” Genya chided you as she pulled out a strategic curl of hair from your hairline. “You look stunning and you know it. You’re just fishing for compliments.”
You shook your head earnestly and too violently for her tastes. She playfully smacked you on the shoulder, barking the command “hold still!” as she continued to fuss over your hair.
“Genya, I am as serious as the day is long,” you murmured. She raised a skeptical eyebrow at you in the mirror as she twined another sprig of baby’s breath into the hair at the crown of your head. “This dress is something for the Queen, but me? Gods, what will people think?”
“They will think that you have an exquisite eye for fashion,” Genya replied smartly, her voice taking on a more serious tone. She was getting irritated, you realized, and maybe rightfully so. She had made the dress herself, after all. When you’d told her that Ivan, arguably the second-highest rank Grisha general in the Second Army, had invited you to the Ravkan Court’s Winter Ball, she had practically fainted with excitement. You, for your part, had been less than keen on the event. Your ridiculous appearance was confirming your worst fears true: you would be laughed at. Ivan, Zoya, Fedyor. Even Alina at this rate. You had no business in these fine silks and lavish stones. The closest you’d ever come to finery before was the red kefta you’d received as a Heartrender when you’d enlisted in the Second Army three years prior.
“Y/n, look at me.” Genya grabbed the seat of your stool and swung you around, away from the mirror where you were chewing on your lip and staring at your own reflection. You hardly recognized yourself. The ridiculous worry that Ivan - your oldest friend - wouldn’t recognize you whipped across your mind like a strong breeze.
Genya grabbed either side of your cheeks, forcing you to meet her eyes. She was already dressed for the event, having devoted most of the afternoon to preening and fussing over you. Her gown was a soft, sunrise-pink with delicate lace layers that seemed to melt into her skin at the sleeves and hem. She had a small cluster of baby blue delphinium blossoms tucked above one of her ears, and her red hair was long and loose around her shoulders. She looked glorious - a picture of the gentleness of spring amidst a harsh Ravkan winter. Her beauty only sank you further into despair. Next to her, you looked gaudy.
“You look incredible,” she said pointedly and firmly. “You feel ridiculous, but that is not the same thing as looking ridiculous.”
Against your better judgment, you considered her point. It made sense, you decided, and you felt a bit of that fearful tension in your chest loosen. You took a shaky breath in, feeling the chain of coral and moonstone gems around your neck rise and fall with your inhales and exhales.
“Tonight is about allowing ourselves to enjoy what being a Grisha in the Second Army has to offer,” she continued, letting go of either side of your face. Her hands interlaced with yours in your lap. “Tonight is about fun.”
You continued to steady your breathing, slowly allowing yourself to realize how ridiculous you were acting. You’d gone into battles before, for God’s sake. You’d stopped the hearts of your enemies and restarted those of your friends. You’d trained and bled and almost died for Ravka dozens of times. And here you were, cowering in your dressing room, because you had to wear a dress?
“I suppose you’re right,” you replied after a moment. Your voice quavered slightly, but you were beginning to feel yourself relax. As always, Genya proved herself to be the tonic that you needed.
“Good,” she concluded, rising from her chair with a chipper smile. “Now that I’ve saved you from your own self-consciousness, can we head to the throne room? We’re already late.”
You glanced at the window outside, noticing that the horizon was turning from burgundy to a dark, plum-wine color. It was much later than you’d realized. Rising from the stool on shaky legs, you let Genya whisk you out of your chambers. The cool evening breeze running over your legs - an undeniable reminder of that precariously high slit - threatened to undo what little composure you’d managed to recover. You did your best to press the concern from your mind and followed along behind Genya. She practically danced down the candlelit guest corridor of the Royal Palace. You could hear the distant sound of a crowded party: an indistinct murmur of voices, clinking glass, and somewhere beneath that the delicate melody of a violin trio playing a jaunty waltz.
“Genya! There you are! We’ve been waiting!” David raised a hand in greeting, a broad smile breaking across his usually somber face. Genya playfully huffed as she skipped the last few steps, her fingers locking with his outreached hand.
“It takes quite a while to prepare oneself for events like these, you know,” she replied cheekily to David. He smiled indulgently at her before nodding courteously in your direction.
“Y/n, Ivan asked me to tell you to wait here. He forgot something in his quarters. He won’t be but a moment.”
Your heart skipped a beat in your chest as you realized what David was asking. He wanted you to wait here, alone?
“Well, perhaps I can go in with you and we can all rendezvous with Ivan when he gets back?” you countered, falling into step at Genya’s shoulder.
“No, nonsense!” she protested, placing a firm hand on your elbow and halting your momentum. “Stay here for Ivan, it won’t be long. It’s not proper to enter these kinds of events without your companion,” she told you insistently. Before you could argue, her and David had swept off, leaving you alone at the top of the staircase. In the hall below, you could see the shadows of incoming partygoers as they meandered towards the sounds of the ball, which were considerably louder now. A warm, inviting light from the direction of the throne room beckoned the attendees in, and delicious aromas wafted up to meet you.
Feeling put out and out-of-place, you leaned back against the banister of the stairway, silently urging Ivan to hurry up as you lost sight of David and Genya in the crowd. You were truly alone now, nothing but you, your jewels, and the risque green gown. You fidgeted with a strand of hair that Genya had expertly teased out to frame your face, trying to remember what she had said to you that had eased your worries back in your dressing chambers. Looking out of place isn’t the same thing as feeling out of place… or was it the other way around? Just because you feel something doesn't mean you don’t look it?
You were tripping over your own thoughts, anxiety and frustration increasing by the moment, when suddenly you had the spine-tingling awareness that you weren’t alone anymore.
You turned to find a tall, imposing figure standing a few feet behind you. Your heart jumped into your chest and you practically toppled down the stairs in your rush to salute the man in front of you.
General Kirigan seemed to materialize out of the darkness as if he were made of shadow himself. His black kefta was gleaming in the candlelight, along with his coal-dark eyes. He was taller than you’d expected, and devastatingly handsome. His expression was unreadable with the faintest smile playing across his lips, his posture straight and regal. You’d only seen him from great distances, never this close before. And up close, he was every inch the legend that you and so many other Grisha revered. He oozed an easy restraint, the kind of genteel manner that sets true leaders and royalty apart from the rest, but beneath that veneer of control was the vibrating frequency of raw power. It both terrified and thrilled you.
“General Kirigan, sir, I didn’t see you there.” You stammered and saluted clumsily, the motion feeling laughably mismatched with your attire. His eyes glimmered with amusement as he bowed gallantly.
“Y/n, I believe, isn’t it?” he asked, his voice smooth and dark like running water. You couldn’t hide your shock to hear him call you by name.
“It is, yes sir,” you replied with surprise as a deep flush painted your cheeks. The General’s eyes flickered over you with a glint of satisfaction that you were certain you imagined.
“Ivan speaks very highly of you,” he continued with ease. He spoke as if talking to someone he’d known for years, with a confidence and fluidity that had always eluded you.
Uncertain of how best to respond, you merely nodded, swallowing thickly. You were beginning to feel uneasy under his gaze. It was probing and unflinching, not lecherous but not entirely proper either. The flame in your cheeks grew hotter as you dropped your eyes, studying the plush red carpet runner on the marble staircase.
“I see you’ve chosen green tonight,” General Kirigan commented, gesturing at your gown. The abruptness with which he addressed your attire made you wish you could vaporize on the spot. It confirmed your worst fears: you looked so ridiculous that the Black General felt the need to point it out.
Unable to meet his eyes, you only nodded again, self-consciously smoothing the emerald silk against the sides of your hips.
“It suits you.”
The wind felt sucked out of your chest. You looked up at the General with a dumbfounded expression. His smile broadened, the first genuine and unrestrained expression you’d seen on him yet. Your mind went completely blank as his singular attention intoxicated you. Your mouth opened and closed futilely, your cheeks no longer ablaze with embarrassment but with a different, more primal heat. The sensation was unwelcome, especially in front of the highest commanding officer of the Second Army, but it couldn’t be helped. You tried to steady your fidgeting hands by looping one across your stomach to hold the inside of your opposite elbow, then playing idly with the coral and moonstones of your necklace, but nothing helped. All the while, the General’s eyes danced across your face, not quite searching, not quite settling.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” you blurted out recklessly after a few more moments under his scrutiny. He smirked, running a hand through his midnight-black hair and chuckling as if you’d said something funny. The dimming candle glow in the staircase caught the angles of his face in a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow. Your heart pirouetted in your chest, suddenly acutely aware of how beautiful he was, and how very close he was.
“I like looking at beautiful things,” he commented casually. It took you a heartbeat before you caught his meaning. He stepped towards you, so close that you felt the teasing breeze of his breath fluttering the strands of your hair that framed your face. He found your hand in an easy motion and raised your knuckles to his lips, holding your eyes with a smoldering gaze. He pressed a firm kiss the smooth skin on the back of your hand, sending goosebumps rippling up your arm and shivering all the way down your spine.
“And you are the most beautiful thing,” he murmured with a final sweeping and appreciative gaze up one side of you and down the other.
He dropped your hand gently and turned away from you, descending the stairs towards the sound of the party. You let out the breath you didn’t realize you’d been holding, leaning back against the staircase railing to balance yourself on suddenly unsteady legs. Your eyes followed him, your heart beating wildly in your chest as your still-blank mind tried to fumble through the interaction. He half-turned back in your direction and hesitated at the bottom of the stairs.
Your legs were moving before your mind knew what was happening. You wer halfway down the stairs before you understood that he was waiting for you and that you were walking to him. A distant part of your mind reminded you that you were supposed to be waiting for Ivan.
You swatted that thought away with a half-smile as you imagined Ivan’s reaction to seeing you at the party on the General’s arm. You’d never hear the end of it.
It’s worth it, you decided as the General held out an arm for you, sparkles in his eyes. Your arm threaded around his with a well-practiced movement that felt as natural as breathing.
“Y/n,” General Kirigan murmured with a satisfied smile in your direction.
“General,” you replied, shooting him a sly half-smile.
“Shall we, then?” he asked politely, inclining his head in the direction of the ball. You nodded happily, allowing him to lead you down the hall and into the brighter lit of the crowded ballroom, all fears and worries evaporated from your mind…

Astarion didn’t leave your side for the day. You could feel the slow approach of heat, but ignored it and slowed it more with your magic. Astarions scent was stronger and it made your mind always in a daze when he was near you. It was the middle of the night and you’d been going through your books to find out what thing could do what it was doing to you both. You were exhausted though, falling asleep at the desk, you needed to fix this though.
“Sweetest” you frowned glancing to Astarion as he stood in the doorway arms crossed over his broad chest.
“You’re falling asleep at the desk, hop into bed, before I make you” he grinned lightly at the end and you felt your cheeks go hot. You stood and closed your book, passing him to head to your bedroom. He followed you and your mind began reeling at all possibilities. You grabbed a night gown and glanced to Astarion, he smirked, but turned around. You undid your corset and slid it off before taking off your shirt and skirts. You left your underwear on before slipping the nightgown over your head and over your body.
“It’s safe” you mumbled and heard him shuffle.
“Pity” he said playfully and you flushed keeping your back to him.
“Why so shy?” He asked as you felt him at your back.
“You confessed to me remember” he whispered in your ear and you flushed remembering clearly, gods you were stupid.
“Stop” Astarion said and you frowned turning to him.
“You get too lost in your mind, overthink every detail” he said and you knew he was right. You sighed and sagged a bit, you hesitated, but you rested your forehead on his chest. He tensed a bit and you panicked before arms wrapped around you and brought you closer.
“I didn’t know” he muttered after some silence.
“Didn’t know what?” You asked eyes closed.
“How you felt” he added and you scoffed lightly pulling back.
“Was I not obvious?” You asked and he frowned shaking his head.
“Darling you’re a witch, you hide things better than a thief” he smirked.
“You locked me out of all the parts of your head” he gently poked your forehead and you huffed playfully.
“Because my thoughts are not clean” you said embarrassed and he grinned even more.
“Neither are mine” he whispered and you flushed eyes on the ground.
“Let me see” he said softly, a small beg behind it.
“What is it I do to you?” His hand cupped your jaw and you looked to him. You sighed and closed your eyes, opening you mind to him. All the dirty thoughts you have to all the innocent hand holding and cuddled on the front porch, swimming naked under the moonlight in your lake, enjoying the feel of him and waking up to him, your nightmares horrid deaths and visions-
You cut your mind off panting harshly and feeling tears well in your eyes.
“My sweet” he said breathlessly and you shook your head going to push him away.
“Darling, look at me” he said a little stern and you did.
“Dreams cannot hurt you” he said keeping a gentle but commanding grip on your jaw.
“I won’t allow them too” he added and you sagged a bit.
“I am right here, I’m sorry I didn’t act sooner” he said eyes sincere, his words genuine. You felt tears in your eyes as he sighed gently and pulled you to him again. Your arms went around him this time enjoying the cool feel of his body, the safeness of his arms.
“You didn’t know” you repeated his words and he hummed.
“What is it you desire right now?” He asked lowly in your ear and you felt your body grow hot. You debating opening your mind to him, allowing him full access to your dirty thoughts, it’d be easier than talking. You pulled back and he kept his hands rested on your hips as he stared at you. Your mouth opened and closed and you felt stupid as heat filled your cheeks. You leant up and he smiled happily meeting you and pressing his lips to yours. Your arms wrapped around his neck and he pulled you flush against him.
“Gods I’ve wanted this for years” he muttered deepening the kiss. You whined softly as he turned you around and gently pushed you to the bed. You landed with a soft Oof and rested on your elbows, legs slightly hanging off the edge. He rested between your legs and leant down, hands holding him up either side of your arms as he kissed you. You tugged him closed and he placed his knee on the bed, nudging it against your heat making you gasp. He smirked and took the opportunity to seek your tongue with his own. He rested on his elbows and you struggled to breathe. You had to pull back, you panted harshly and he looked a little worried.
“I don’t have any practice in this” you mumbled breathlessly and a dark lust covered his eyes.
“Then we shall practice more” he smirked kissing you softly again, nudging his knee against your clothed heat. You moaned quietly hands lifting to tangle in with his white curls, they were so soft like you imagined. Your need for friction though grew and you began to move your hips to grind against his knee. You felt him smirk against your mouth as he moved his kisses away from your mouth to your jaw then neck. Butterfly’s filled your stomach as he gently kissed along your neck, finding the sensations overly sensitive. It made you squirm slightly and he nipped gently making you tense. You trusted him though and relaxed again before he kissed over your mating gland. You put a hand over your mouth holding in the gasp that threatened. That spot was always sensitive even if you touched it, his lips against it though- gods.
“Feel good?” He whispered and you nodded a little too quickly.
“Darling, don’t hold back, nobody’s here, but you and me” he lifted his head and removed your hand from your mouth and lifted it to kiss the back of your hand.
“Sorry” you whispered and he frowned.
“Whatever for?” He asked head tilted as you stopped moving your hips.
“I don’t know what I’m doing, or-“ you struggled with words, stumbling over then as he smiled. It was a gorgeous genuine smile as he kissed you gently, it made you feel so at ease.
“Let me show you” he whispered against your lips as he stood. You stared confused before he untucked his white shirt and shrugged it off, dropping it on the floor. You glanced down his chest, he was well defined, abs strong from over those many years, a few scars littering his body. You sat on your elbows again, admiring his pale body, gods he was beautiful.
“Stand up” he ordered and you did on shaky legs. He kept his smirk on as he scrunched up the bottom of your nightgown. You lifted your arms and he pulled of the garment and laid it with his shirt. You grew embarrassed, looking to the ground, too many sweet things in your life caused more flesh on your body.
“You’re exquisite” he whispered and you looked to him. He was in awe, the vampire had his mouth slightly open as he looked at every inch of your body. You flushed looking away when his eyes met yours, he gave a small growl in his throat that almost sounded like a whine as he stepped forward and kissed you hungrily. His hands went to your hips, gripping the flesh there before they trailed up your sides and around your back. He pulled you closer again, chests flush together, hips together. You could feel him hard against his pants and made a small noise against his lips. He pulled back breathless, eyes gazing at you.
“The things you do to me” he muttered kissing you briefly before guiding you back to the bed. You sat down as he held your hand, kissing the back of it again and your inner wrist. His eyes briefly opened to glance to you, they were glowing slightly.
“You can” you whispered and his eyes snapped to yours as his breath hitched against your wrist.
“I’m afraid if I do, I won’t stop” he said and you gave him a soft smile.
“You won’t hurt me” you said his mouth opening, tongue darting over his lips.
“Are you sure?” He asked and you nodded. He bared his fangs, giving you one last look before he closed his eyes and bit down. You hissed briefly at the piercing of flesh, but it went to a cold numbness. He shuddered a groan leaving his mouth as he drank, it was the hottest thing you’d ever heard. He stopped breathlessly, licking over the wound, he looked in a heavenly state as you cupped his cheek.
“Sorry” he said breathlessly eyes opening.
“You didn’t hurt me” you said tilting your head slightly.
“No, I- you taste better than anything I’ve ever imagined” he said embarrassed still in a slight state of bliss. You took it as a compliment not truely understanding what he meant. He licked his lips again, sighing before he pressed his lips to yours.
“Lie back” he said standing up to untie his boots. You shuffled down the bed and rested on the pillows, body trembling in a warm hum. He crawled on the bed and over you, you parted your legs so he could rest between them. He kissed you again moaning softly as he rested his hips against yours.
“What do you want?” He whispered lifting his head to gaze at you again. You felt yourself blush and found words extremely hard. You closed your eyes opening your mind to him, you want his mouth, his cock, his mark….anything.
“Needy thing” he chuckled making you pout.
“I’ll give you anything” he whispered with a smirk as he slid back down your body, peppering kissed along the way. He stopped above your waist band of your underwear glancing up to you with a smirk. You quickly looked away embarrassed as he chuckled and hooked his fingers under your waist band.
“Hips up” he ordered and you listened. He pulled down your underwear and discarded it on the floor. You covered your eyes highly embarrassed, expecting criticism.
“I’ve always wanted to taste you here too” he said and you bit back a whine. You went to close your legs, feeling his eyes burning.
“Uh uh” he said lifting one of your legs over his shoulder. You glanced down, watching get comfortable and slip his other arm under and around your thigh. He nipped the sensitive flesh of your inner thigh before his tongue swiped through your folds. You gasped, back arching at the new feeling, he kept your hips still though, arms holding your thighs as he began to swipe his tongue and suck. You moaned quietly, biting the back of your hand.
“Let me hear you” his voice rumbled against your sex and you faltered, but moved your hand. He moved slowly at first, teasing and tasting before he quickened, tongue going in and out of your entrance slightly. You felt his arm move and briefly frowned before fingers joined his mouth. You groaned softly as he gathered up both saliva and slick on his fingers before slowly thrusting one in your warmth. You sighed loudly back arching slightly as he kept sucking at your clit and slowly moving his finger in and out before brushing up against something inside you that made you gasp and moan. He smirked against your sex and added another finger, slowly scissoring and making slight ‘come here’ motions. You squirmed and shook as you felt your stomach tightened.
“Astarion-“ you gasped and he growled softly quickening and hardening his pace slightly. Your eyes sealed shut and you held your breath as you came. Your walls clenched down on his fingers as he kept running your high. He slowed and removed his fingers and gently moved your leg off his shoulder as he sat up. You looked to him with dazed eyes as he licked his fingers clean, keeping his eyes on yours. He sighed deeply wiping his mouth and you flushed, heart pounding in your chest. He crawled back up your body gently kissing you, the taste of yourself on his lips.
“Do you want more?” He whispered.
