Assassination Classroom Characters in Genshin Impact AU (Part One)
Kaede, Karma, and Nagisa (Part Two): https://www.tumblr.com/alitheakorogane/694838741282553856/assassination-classroom-characters-in-genshin?source=share
----------
Let's start with the teachers of this amazing Class E, shall we?
(These ideas may or may not be featured on my future fan works regarding this crossover, will be changed until further notice...)
-----------
Koro-sensei/The God of Death
The former assassin that every single people had heard about, to the point that they were scared of him. Known as the “God of Death”, his kill count was massive, and there are rumors that says about him colluding with the Fatui for their dirty work. But apparently, he preferred to work alone.
It was rumored that he’s actually a god who fought the Archon War or a messenger of Death, that’s why he was nicknamed as such. Alas, he was just a mortal who happens to be Visionless and had to rely on his skills.
He never knew his place of birth, his birthday, or even his biological parents. In his dreams though, he just saw blurry memories of a ruined city in front of him, but beyond that, he remembers nothing about his childhood.
He took an apprentice, a young silver-haired boy he had met in Fontaine years ago. Apparently, he betrayed by the same apprentice, who is actually working on the Fatui behind the God of Death’s back, and stole his identity. The reason? He was tired of the God of Death’s indifferent and cold attitude towards him.
The God of Death had become a test subject of Kotaro Yanagisawa, who originally hails from Inazuma and one of the Fatui scientists whose experiments involves the Archon Residue and the powers of the Abyss.
The former assassin now test subject met Aguri Yukimura, the fiancé of Yanagisawa. They became close as time goes on, but it ended when Yanagisawa realized how his research will cause the destruction of Teyvat and receiving Celestia’s anger after a fateful incident, a year later…causing the now powerful test subject goes on rampage.
The God of Death had eventually received his Anemo Vision in a Fatui lab he had currently destroyed after Aguri died in his arms. Celestia really has plans for him, per say.
He may have used any kind of physical weapon such as a claymore, a sword, a polearm or even a bow, since he was pretty an expert to them, but he used Aguri’s catalyst to honor her memory. He treated the catalyst as a challenging weapon for him at first, because out of all the weapons he had expertly wielded in the past, the elemental magic-relying catalyst is the only one he can’t possibly wield at that time, due to him being not having a Vision before.
He had Aguri's Masterless Vision, as she had left it to him, thinking that he may find a way to activate the vision in the future, since she knew that he doesn't have a Vision. She never seen the Anemo Vision Koro-sensei had recieved because she died before she did.
He even became a teacher like her, to teach the students she left behind in Sumeru Akademiya. But Koro-sensei being Koro-sensei, he likes a challenge so he threatened every single leader and Archon of every nation that he will lay waste among the land in a year unless the students will kill him. But in truth, his Abyss powers are unstable and may cause himself to go in uncontrolled rampage again if they did not kill him.
The Archons may have the power to kill him immediately, but they were fascinated by him instead. Especially Lord Barbatos, who is the Anemo Archon and who knew Koro-sensei’s entire story. Both of them had lost someone they loved, and the Anemo Archon sympathizes with him.
Like in canon version, Kaede Kayano was the one who gives him his current nickname, “Koro-sensei”. He also had weaknesses, but it was slightly different in the canon version, such as the fact that the Statue of the Seven may slightly made him uncomfortable. Or he is a pervert who once caught ogling on a picture of Raiden Shogun’s huge chest.
His signature dish is the delicious ‘NuruNuru Takoyaki’, a dish best served hot. He is really an expert in cooking, but sometimes the ingredients he added are atrocious, especially if he’s really hungry. Once, he tried cooking a bunch of rocks he had found at the Chasm out of hunger and hallucination. But overall, his dishes are heavenly (if normal ingredients are used).
--------
Irina Jelavic
A woman of class, originally from the outskirts of Snezhnaya. Behind her charms lies a dark past and a hopeless future ahead of her (to her opinion).
Her parents were killed because of an Abyss invasion, and that incident granted her a Vision, as she was trying to defend herself from the attackers. She was adopted by Lovro, a Snezhnayan mercenary. Because of that, she became a mercenary herself.
She is a Cryo Vision user, originally a catalyst, but she uses bows whenever necessary. She sucks on melee combat, so she specializes in manipulating people into losing their guard, before she strikes. Like her Vision, her personality is icy at first, but when she met the E-Class, her once cold heart melts. Deep inside, she just wanted to be loved. She doesn’t want to admit it though.
She eventually developed a crush on Tadaomi Karasuma, her coworker, but unfortunately, the man wasn’t explicitly showing any interest on her. In Irina’s words, “That man is dense and ‘a stuck in the mud’, definitely deserved his Geo Vision.”
She once betrayed the class when she teamed up with Koro-sensei’s former apprentice. But eventually the class and Karasuma saved her and made her see some sense. In fact, the Glaze Lily that Karasuma had received from fighting the apprentice was still on Irina’s prized possession.
She’s good in music, especially in playing piano. Sometimes, she plays with passion, that anyone who had seen her play can see some beautiful snowflakes forming around her.
Her signature dish is a Snezhnayan delicacy that she remembered her mother had made. She likes to make the dish because it reminds her of the day back when her parents were alive.
--------
Tadaomi Karasuma
A man from Inazuma, a part of the Tenryou Commission. He’s actually serious on his job as one of the prized soldiers under Kujou Sara’s orders. Because of his strong work ethic, among the people around Teyvat that is capable of this important mission, he was chosen as the supervisor who will personally handle Koro-sensei’s affairs.
His Vision is Geo and is a claymore user. He is skilled on using melee weapons as part of his training, but he prefers to use his signature claymore his family had for generations. He is a very strong man due to his rigorous training, that he once split a huge boulder as large as Barbatos’ statue in Mondstadt only using his claymore.
He has a sister he had cherished with all his heart, but she died on an early age because of a rare uncurable disease called Eleazar. They were poor at that time, so his family can’t afford the treatment in Sumeru that limits the spread of the disease. Add to the fact that it was hard to leave Inazuma that time without having enough documents and Mora to begin with.
He may be intuitive in combat, but he is dense in matters of the heart. That’s why Irina always calls him ‘a stuck in the mud’. He may be dubbed by his students as the resident dense tsundere.
He is usually annoyed by Koro-sensei’s antics, especially when the latter tries to drag him into trouble. He dubbed Koro-sensei as a ‘reckless and childish buffoon’, but he had started to appreciate Koro-sensei’s companionship and grows on him. Not that he admits that.
His signature dish is a special kind of ramen made by his family by generations, and he is not good in cooking other dishes besides ramen. He usually went to his student, Takuya Muramatsu, for ramen tips and recipes he could try on to improve his dish.

You know what I want?
A Bsd x AssClass crossover
Specifically Atsushi being part of the assassination classroom
Like, maybe the orphanage fucker sent middle school Atsushi there to be a dick because he knew he’d end up in E class or something
But he was there and eventually learned about his tiger there
And maybe some of the other kids ended up with abilities too and Korosensei had some connection to the book (maybe he was made with part of it? Idk)
And lets say they manage to save Korosensei and fake his death, probably with an ability
Then fast forward to Bsd
Atsushi still ends up with agency after saving Dazai from drowning because he learns that Fukuzawa can help him control his ability more than already does and he just genuinely likes helping people
And then the whole thing with Akutagawa happens and
-AssClass Graduates GC-
Catboy: Guess who has a hit on their head
TentacleFather: They grow up so fast
(Karmas)aBitch: how much?
MilitaryFather: How did you end up with a hit on your head?
Catboy: 7 billion or something
Catboy: A mafia dog cut off my leg trying to get it
Bitchsensei: HAH
Just, Atsushi being a complete badass sweetheart and bringing in the other assclass kids when shot gets real
(Maybe Fukuzawa and Mori have met the teachers before and Dazai has met Korosensei, human or octopus version)
((Imagine the chaos))
(((I also hope your taking care of yourself and have a good laugh at the silly idea. Sometimes a hearty chuckle can help a bunch)))
oh oh god i need this so so much

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love ❤
So I already got this twice so I guess I should try to get an answer out ^^;; It's... really a tough task though, but here we go! I can’t really pick a clear favorite of them all, so they’re just in random order. (Or actually, I guess they're in the order in which they've last been updated/posted.)
1. Caught Between, my Hikaru no Go fic where Sai's a real kid with dreams of turning go pro, an intersex condition, and not... the greatest parents in the world, I guess. (His mom has grown on me though.) I've talked about this fic a lot before, so I'll just say that I'm so glad I finally started posting it and that I've managed to nearly reach the end - still need to wrap things up, but at Sai's finally where he wants to be in live, so in that regard, all's fine.
2. blind alley, Assassination Classroom fic which, as usual for me, is basically about Shuu's relationship with his dad. The summary is rather short: "One day, Gakushuu decides to end it all. Just, all does not end that easily." I've said it before, I don't even know why I like this fic so much. Maybe I'm just a sucker for sad things? I don't think I've ever said anything about the title, have I? Cause this is a rare case where I didn't have to struggle to come up with a title only to end up with something mediocre. I was originally going to name this Dead End, cause stupid puns & Shuu being in a sense stuck in one, but then realized that blind alley refers to the same thing, plus it has the word "blind" in it... and you could say Shuu is blind to the truth for a good while there. (why I decided not to capitalize it, I don't know. Sometimes things just look better like that to me.)
3. oneironautics, AssClass & The Sandman crossover (no knowledge of Sandman required.) Again, Shuu and his dad are in the spotlight. It's just that I like Gakushuu, I found Gakuhou simply... intriguing. What's going on his brain? How did he really go so crazy? I've never felt like Ikeda's death would have been quite enough for that. They hadn't even been in touch for years! So, yeah, I guess one goal for me in this fic was to create him one potential background where all the problems have their roots. Also, writing dreams is fun. ^^
4. Ok, those first three were clear, but now it's getting hard. I've two random Hikaru no Go fics in mind here... maybe I'll pick the one that showcases my fic-naming abilities, It’s the Zombie Apocalypse! XD Its birth was absolute randomness, once upon a time in the hikago community on Dreamwidth people were playing Let’s Five on Hikago Day. Someone asked who'd be the five characters who'd survive the zombie apocalypse, and reading the answers I was attacked by a rabid plotbunny. This fic... it was just so fun to write. And I like how it's got a true ending and a bad ending (the reader's choice determines which you get.) (And, dammit, I'll mention the other fic I was just considering too: Chika-go, the Hikago & Dresden Filess crossover. Another fic that was really fun to write. And it has my first ever battle scenes. XD Also, I like the title for various reasons. ^^)
5. Then, finally: The End of Silence (The All Paths Lead to God of Go Remix), yet one more Hikago fic. This is perhaps a bit surprising choice, but I can’t help it… there’s something about this little fic I really like. It’s a remix, as you see (tho in all honesty it’s more like a sequel than a real remix, I feel), of Flonnebonne’s drabble The Silent Path where Akari, not Hikaru, was the one to end up with Sai. I had always wanted to write about Akari more, but somehow never had any inspiration. This (though I'm sure it's not exactly what anyone expects XD) fixed that.

A Taste of Honey (Herp Albert)
"From the first notes it makes me need to dance. It’s instrumental but I swear you can sing along to it. I want it to be part of the score of my life. I can’t explain but it’s so upbeat like you could click your heals as you stroll down the street even after getting bad news with this song."
QUESTION (Assasination Classroom)
I get knocked down like this every time/Your scathing, serious voice cuts me/Thousands, tens of thousands of times I’ve given form to my feelings/Driven them in, thrown them in— but all you do is run away
"Augh firstly the context of this being the 3rd op for assclass. the tone shift compared to the first two openings. even just the instrumentation makes me cry. KOROSENSEI. Also secondly, the lyrics touching on feeling so strongly about someone who never seems to acknowledge you. it makes you question why you even felt this way in the first place. why are they so distant? why won’t they acknowledge what you’ve done? what you’ve said? while the phrasing can sorta seem like it leans romantic, it’s really not about that at all, shown by the relationships that flash by during the question questions. irina and karasuma, the gods of death— prodigy and master, asano jr and asano sr. then korosensei standing in the zebra grass field where he tells his past followed by everything replaying and the faces of his students flashing by. all so close and yet so far away, did i ever know anything about you? i like how question, question, is phrased as if a reporter asking a question at a press release, or a student asking a question in class. i’m insane"

Aguri: You don't come across as a proffesional killer
God of Death: I'm sorry. Lemme just make myself look like Hannibal lector or something.

You know how Lovro taught the class some tips on their training and even taught Nagisa the clap stunner? What if the other assassins that appeared in the show also taught the class some of their specialties? Which students do think would suit best for each assassin teacher? Love your blog btw 😍😍😍
Aww thank you sweetie!! 😘💕💕
I really like this idea! Reminds of this post my bestie @assclass-conspiracies made a while ago haha. I’ll just expand a bit more with each villain and the students UwU
Grip
Well he totally takes Karma under his wing haha, this is sorta canon.
I can see him working a lot with the students who are generally more physical/into hand-to-hand-combat
Soooo like Terasaka, Okano, Kataoka, etc.
He focuses on pure physical at first, but then realizes that’s not really helpful for tiny 15 year olds. So he then teaches some unique, lesser known styles of combat. And ways to dodge opponents, use things like size and body movements to your advantage, etc.
Everything he teaches them a lesson, Karma sneaks in wasabi and tortures him somehow
Smog
He totally teaches science/chemistry stuff to Okuda! Emphasis on poisons and toxins that can be lethal, or make someone pass out. You know, typical assassin stuff lmao
That might be canon actually...wait...
I guess Takebayashi could be another student, wanting to know more anatomy details rather than chem stuff though. Like what kinds of toxins work best, how to manipulate the human body, etc. Some fun medical stuff
This might be a reach but maybe Kanzaki and Kayano join in a couple lessons? They got high scores in the pharmaceutical rankings in canon. Kayano’s dad owns a pharmacy, so she might be well knowledged. And Kanzaki grows up to be a nurse so it’s definitely an interest to her.
Gastro
Umm...he’s like the least mentally stable in my opinion. I feel like he’d be a pretty bad teacher lmao...but he does have a passion for guns so he might give the kids valuable info.
He gives everyone a general lesson of what types of guns are meant for certain scenarios/situations. Like they all have a purpose to him, so he teaches them the nuances of that. Having the right gun makes all the difference.
He definitely has some stuff to teach about marksmanship too. So the Sniper Duo would be some of his students...even if they’re holding a bit of a grudge lmao. He sees their talent right away though.
Some other possible students could be Muramatsu, Fuwa, Hara, Isogai, Hazama...these are students who canonically received high scores in marksmanship.
Red Eye
Uhhhh...can he teach anything besides sniping?
It’s like the same students as the ones above with Gastro...maybe a few more? Idk
I guess since it’s notable that he’s really durable, and survived getting killed...maybe he can teach them how to boost their durability?
I can see all the athletes being interested in that, especially Maehara, Terasaka, etc
He’s also traveled a lot and can share knowledge on how to get certain things in foreign countries, like hunting licenses lmao.
Yeah not much to say about him sadly
Nidaime/2.0
Listen...he counts, ok? This man has my whole heart *sobs*
What can’t this man teach them lmao? Honestly, he has a really huge vast of knowledge considering he’s been doing this shit ever since he was little, and he was trained by the best.
I imagine he’d have an emphasis on two subjects though: business and botany
He is a flower salesman, and has most likely had to play a business type of role before. He knows the nuances of it, and how to handle finances, save money in a smart way. This is an important lesson for young teens tbh.
He also can give pointers on acting, especially how to be a smooth-talker and get your way with words alone.
Students interested in this could be...Isogai, Nakamura, Maehara, maybe Karma...maybe Fuwa
Botany is self-explanatory. He loves flowers/plants. He probably has tried to read every fact he could get his hands on about them. Maybe in a cool assassin way, he knows what plants or herbs can be used as natural poisons/weapons. And he totally teaches the kids about that lmao
Students interested in this: Kurahashi, Okuda, KANZAKI, maybe Takebayashi...
Yeah...he overall has a plethora of info he can give, so it’s definitely not limited to these topics only.
Oh...he can also teach physical combat moves...and marksmanship stuff given that he’s canonically amazing. Like he shot a guy in a moving train...maybe he teaches with an emphasis on mobile sniping? Cough Hayami cough

Random AssClass Thoughts
A truly God-tier story that really stays with you long after you’re done with it not only hooks you in with a great beginning, but also has to deliver a great ending that has been really thought through down to the last detail and provides a sufficiently satisfying closure point for the consumer. Assassination Classroom definitely had the “hooks you in at the beginning” part down pat (even if in a mind-bogglingly goofy, totally out there, “what the actual fuck IS this premise?” way), but it also stuck the landing with an absolutely PERFECT end to its story, making it one of the precious few stories in any media I’ve ever experienced to have an ending that I can honeslly label as "perfect.”
I mean, the entire finale was perfect in how it showed us all the ways in which Korosensei’s deeds and educating bore fruit, and how his legacy is kept alive and carried on by all the people whose lives he’d touched. But it’s Nagisa’s resolution shown in the very last scene that really elevates it. Because for the entire series, Nagisa was the de-facto “main protagonist” among the E Class students, but he was never really the true protagonist of this story, a role that belonged to Korosensei himself. So you follow most of the story believing Nagisa to be simply the Ishmael or the Watson, his position having no real deeper purpose than that. Except that the narrative for Nagisa’s character arc keeps building up that he’s the most talented natural-born killer in the entire class, with skill and bloodlust that’s far more unsettling compared to his peers. He also just happens to have no idea what he wants to do with his life in the future, as to this point his abusive mother has controlled his life’s trajectory and was set on deciding even his future for him as well so that she may live all of her dreams vicariously through her son. Late into the series, Nagisa has come to realize what others around him already had - that he’s the E Class student most suited to becoming a professional assassin. The future his life is headed towards seems to be a career in taking the lives of countless others, simply because he’s good at it and he can.
We meet two characters who go by the moniker of “The Reaper” (”Shinigami”/”God of Death” in Japanese) in the series - the original Reaper being Ryushi Korogane, the man who became Korosensei, the second Reaper being a young man he took under his wing as his pupil in assassination. Reaper 2.0 in particular has striking parallels to Nagisa, and because Koro had neglected to teach him anything other than how to be a mass murdering wastrel throwing his life and future away, just like the old him, present day octopus Koro regards 2.0 as his first ever student, and the student he’d failed to be a good, caring, proper guide and mentor towards. Nagisa gives off every indication that he has the makings of a Reaper 3.0, and just like 2.0, he’s found himself in Koro’s care as his prized student. And once again, Koro is able to mold this young mind and shape his course by making him follow in his footsteps....except with 2.0, it was past Koro, the Reaper, steering the boy down the dark path of a killer, whereas with Nagisa, it’s Korosensei saving the boy from that path and instead guiding him towards Koro’s second profession - teacher.
And not just an ordinary teacher either: Nagisa is teaching a class of ignorant, troubled, violent degenerates and social rejects who other adults and higher institutions have long since given up on and written off as outcasts and refuse who have no hope of betterment, nothing they can contribute to society, and no futures ahead of them. This is E Class’ next level, akin to the students Korosensei gave chances, attention, and encouragement to in his education of them, providing them the proper guidance and nurturing they needed to enrich their lives and make their ways in the world, growing as people and being much better off than before from their shared experiences. And so Nagisa, without fear, applies the assassin skills that Korosensei taught him and tells the thuggish student who gives him a “I’ll kill you” threat, “You’re welcome to try. You’ll have until graduation.” In that moment, and with the visual that follows, it is made unmistakably clear that Nagisa, the boy who could’ve easily become the next Reaper, instead became the next Korosensei, the “unkillable teacher” to a class full of undesirables, all thanks to the original Korosensei.
Tumblr media
And if that scene, that thematic conclusion, and that accompanying score in the anime weren’t enough, the very end of it all is the ideal full circle “Book End” to the story, perfectly symmetrical with how it began - Korosensei lays down the roll book at the front desk of the classroom, faces his students, and says “Alright, let’s get started.”
Tumblr media
As I said - sheer perfection.
