“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” —John 16:33 (NIV)
“God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.” —Max Lucado
“Jesus promised that in this life we would have trouble. Jesus challenges us to know that the way is not always easy. Some days are tough. We can’t pretend otherwise. God is with us. God has a goal in mind for us. God wants us to remember the goal.” Amen!🙏🕊🙌 (

The Exorcist
When I was young, unbridled, and careless with my mind and what goes in it, I made the foolish mistake of watching horror movies. There was something that drew me into them – only to after watching them, having sleepless nights.
What was I thinking? Watching those films tempt us to take our eyes off the beauty and faithfulness of Jesus. I remember watching “The Exorcist” years ago and for a very…

“Now to the God who can do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us, to Him be all glory in the church and in Jesus the Anointed from this generation to the next, forever and ever. Amen.” —Ephesians 3:20-21 (VOICE)
“Pray Bigger Prayers” By Wendy Richmond:
“The Library of Congress in Washington DC is the largest library in the world. It has over 167 million items in its catalog, over 39 million of which are books. And more books are being written every single day. It’s overwhelming to think of the vast amount of knowledge researched and recorded by great minds throughout history - not to mention the vast amount of literary works that have been written.
Even though there is an incredible amount of knowledge contained within the books in the Library of Congress, some of that knowledge is relatively new. For example, before the discovery of the life-saving antibiotic, penicillin, in 1928, people often died from things like strep throat, stomach ulcers, and tooth abscesses.
God has given humans an immense capacity to think and discover, yet we have barely scratched the surface of knowledge to be obtained. Yet all the knowledge contained in the Library of Congress is like a drop in the ocean compared to an all-knowing God. God is not only all-knowing, he is all-powerful. He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Ephesians 3:20 challenges us to pray bigger prayers. I think that sometimes our prayers are limited by the amount of knowledge that we have, but the Bible says God is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we can ask or think. I can’t help but wonder what could be accomplished in our lives and the lives of those around us if we would begin to pray bigger prayers.” Amen!🙏🕊🙌

My expectations for MAMA stages are essentially nonexistent because I’ve learned my lesson from previous years, but I am holding out some hope that Forestella, Hyolyn, and Monika can save the day at least. And maybe KARA but it’s been too long to know exactly what we’re getting there, so they’re more of a wild card. But otherwise anything quality from the other groups will be a bonus, since they’re almost all young groups or mnet projects or hybe. (And no sm groups again??? A travesty). Just please, no more lore at the expense of actual performance 😭
we're not holding out a lot of hope for mama rn. mnet gets one (1) additional point in advance from me for having a monika and lim young woong collab stage bc i think that's going to be interesting, but it's pretty much those three/four that are holding up my wilting expectations. i think the kara stage is more likely to be good than not, simply on nostalgia factor alone, but even if logisically the performance is somehow bad it's still likely to be fun to watch. but yes, anything else that's good is gonna be a bonus. it is really strange that sm has pulled all their artists from awards show performances this seaon, since they take up a big presence in the industry and boy the lineups are feeling pretty empty without them. that winter concert/gala event or whatever that thing is they're planning better be fucking massive.
