Been a hot minute since I’ve been on here, but I scribbled these down and figured I’d share! This is my first fully-formed clone squad known as Shatter Squad. The Shatter Squad is within the 501st, if that wasn't clear by the color. Some of those in the squad are transfers, such as Bonesaw and the twins (Tripwire and Deadbeat), while the others were put into the squad from the get-go. Some of these designs aren't exactly all in the same timeframe during their story. For example, Trip's design is actually a future version of him, while the others are mostly when the squad was freshly put together. Confusing? Yeah. I'm just a tad lazy and didn't want to change it lol I have some basic info down below of some of the members, if you want to have a read. If not, I hope you liked the doodles!

Coil is the leader of the squad, but I haven't decided on a rank for him yet. He's a pretty serious guy most of the time. On the rare occasion that they have extended downtime or go to 79's, he's much more loose and open to jokes. He got his name when someone from his batch complained about him being "tightly wound like a coil". It stuck. Bonesaw is a medic, and a damn good one at that. He is actually pretty snarky, sarcastic, and so, so very smug. When he's actually peeved at someone though he has a great resting bitch face. He enjoys verbally tearing into someone if they've done something stupid and got injured for it. A nat-born medic called him Bonesaw once because of his very good ability to verbally maul someone. Kept the name because he thought it was badass. Tripwire is the team's trap-setter and infiltration-leader. Very efficient in his work- super thorough and good at shifting plans on the fly. His name was originally Livewire, but it ended up shifting to Tripwire because he is prone to being "tripped" when someone hits a nerve. He's Deadbeat's twin (they were made in the same decanting chamber). (Bit of a note here regarding his future stuff. His eye is made out of recycled assassin droid parts and both of his forearms have been replaced with prostheses. I won't get into spoiler lore because...that'd be no fun. I'll write it out eventually but until then, my lips are sealed.) Deadbeat is the team's heavy weapons guy, with the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon being his firearm of choice. The poor guy can't stand shinies: they ask him too many questions, and he hates how arrogant most of them end up being. His name was given to him as a joke, and he was too indifferent towards it to look for a replacement.

Flint is the team's electronics expert. Absolutely a prodigy when it comes to tech and loves to tinker whenever he can. His name comes from his ability to go from kind and soft to prickly and sharp. Most of the time he's pretty passive and complacent, but if he's worn down enough he'll make jabs at pretty much anyone. He can only take so much shit from people before he'll throw self restraint out the window and fire back. Oh, and he's also an ARC trooper- so there's that.

Bombshell is the final member of the team, and is the explosives expert (note, he does already have a post of his own, so you can go and check that out if you want). Anyway, he's blue-yellow colorblind and this has led to a few funny moments during his time as a shiny. He got his name when Bonesaw made a comment that he was practically a factory with the amount of bombshells he kept dropping on the team. He liked the word, so he took it and kept it as his name.

What’s your favorite plot hole/nonsensical plot point in 3H? I think my favorite has to be that despite being the avatar of the Goddess, a figure Edelgard hates and even says doesn’t exist— she still loves Byleth no matter what because… Reasons. (I mean, how else is the player supposed to feel special?)

That plot point also confuses me to no end. Some say it's because of their shared Crest of Flames, but we don't see Nemesis going all uwu on Byleth at the end of VW.

Personally, I'm stuck between TWSITD's nukes and Fodlan's powerscaling in general.

Like, why didn't TWSITD just nuke everyone at the Battle of the Eagle and Lion? Solon worked with the church at that time, he would've been able to communicate the time to Thales! Hell, why didn't the Agarthans nuke everyone at the end of CF? AM, VW and SS I can sort of understand. Their leadership and/or entire base of operations are destroyed in those routes, but none of that happens at the end of CF.

And then you just have Fodlan's powerscaling and it's like..

Nobody should be able to touch Byleth because of their time powers.

Relic wielders should wipe entire armies but they get smacked by a random bandit.

The Nabateans should be demigods that are unable to be killed by anything but a relic wielder/byleth/sothis.

I could go on about powerscaling in Fodlan but that deserves it's own post tbh.

Chaos might need to upgrade to spider status and get a 3rd pair of arms. He has eight to nine bodied kids (since Bone & Marrow rarely separate and og Eclipse's adoption isn't kind of pending still). Vortex has his pouch but Chaos probably needs the extra hands still to hold all the babies.

i was playing luocha's quest "guide for a knight stranger" when i spotted a genshin character. this is like finding beyoncé in a supermarket. what is chang the ninth doing here? i think it's pretty cool that he's a detective romance novel character in this universe instead of a writer, it's like the world is inverted. and he's the killer's uncle, nonetheless. too bad we don't know (as far as i'm aware of) if genshin's chang the ninth has nephews, but with at least 8 siblings it's very likely.

#i'm a curious person so i went to see what book xingqiu wanted to get from him in his quest and it was 'legend of the shattered halberd' #unfortunately i didn't find anything that could relate to hsr so it was just a little detail for funsies probably #but the book is actually crazy!!! #it talks about how in ancient times when the axis mundi was unobstructed there were 9 realms each a world of its own #zhongzhou was the realm of humans (literally translates to central axis or core) and the gods resided in shenxiao (to sneer or laugh at is #the only translation i found). it talks about how there was a war between gods at the end of the last calamity and how the god king fell #which obliterated all living things. but now the realms were reborn and life thrives again although the passageway between the nine realms #by axis mundi has been seeled off #if that isn't intriguing i don't know what is. i should read more books to make sense of the lore better #this just adds to my belief in the theory that there are 9 elements. 9 symbolising perfection and completion is also so good #the quest about the nine pillars of peace in liyue being associated with the calamity that struck khaenri'ah. the pillars symbolising human #vices/desires. the connection to the yaksha tasked to exterminate the blight that originated from the defeated gods of the archon war which #corrupted their body and spirit eventually going mad and slowly vanishing from the people's memory. a lot of things about the archon war #in liyue the number 9 and it's funny that chang the ninth's book also talks about a war between gods. i could go on but anyways fun stuff #honkai star rail #genshin impact
