Chapter 1, New Nanny Pt 1

“So then my dad, who's the leader of the Alliance, practically blew his flat top when I told him I was moving away from Derdriu. But he chilled when I told him I had a great job. Do you know where I could find a great job?” Lady Tiana von Riegan sat in the back of a taxi carriage, telling the driver about how she came to be where she is. Her father, Duke Oswald, is the leader of the Leicester Alliance, and her older brother, Duke Godfrey, who bore a Major Crest of Riegan, was going to take over when Oswald eventually died or retired. Their mother, the late Duchess Aaliyah, who had been beloved by her people, had passed away many years prior when Tiana was still too young to form memories. Tiana had tired of the cushy life of a noble, so she decided to leave her home town of Derdriu, in order to become an actress. Duke Oswald was not happy about it, nor was Godfrey, though he had been far more supportive of her than their father. Tiana was sipping some Leicester Cortania as she awaited to be dropped off at her destination. Starting today she was no longer Lady Tiana von Riegan, Duchess of the Leicester Alliance, daughter of Duke Oswald the leader of the Alliance and the late Duchess Aaliyah, younger sister to Duke Godfrey, Oswald’s heir, no, starting today she was just Tiana, maybe even Tia for short! The carriage swerved and Tiana looked through her bag as they were to be nearing her destination soon, but she couldn’t find her wallet.

“Wha- my wallet’s gone! Someone must have stolen it!” She laughed nervously. “I don’t suppose I could pay you in lipgloss and breath mints?” The carriage swerved again, “They’re wintergreen.” and she was thrown out along with all her belongings that she’d taken with her. She landed face first on the ground. “That was rude!” Leicester may look like a united front….but that couldn’t be further from the truth. As Tiana’s luggage was thrown out it opened up, she must have forgotten to seal it properly. “Haha you missed me~” she patronized the driver, but then he threw another item at her and it hit her on her head. A handsome young man ran up to aid her.

“Whoa, you must be a really bad tipper! I’m Tony.”

“I’m Tiana. Tia for short.”

“And I’m guessing this is yours!” A little girl with pink pigtails and a tutu marched up to her holding her bra. Tiana chuckled nervously.

“Thank you sweetie, that’s just my…slingshot.” The little girl laughed.

“She doesn’t know it’s a bra!” Just then a crazed, middle aged woman came running out of the building with her suitcase screaming.

“Bye, Nanny! Whatever your name was.” The little girl waved in the direction of the crazed older woman. “Hey Tia, you wanna be my nanny?”

“Aw, thank you sweetie, but I didn’t come all the way from Derdriu in The Alliance to be a babysitter. I came here to follow my dreams cause this is where dreams come true!” The little girl gave her a look.

“Yeah, right.” “Until then I like my grilled cheese cut in triangles and my tutus starched.” The young girl led Tiana by the hand into the building.

The elevator opened to reveal a very fancy and taken care of house, it reminded Tiana of what she had chosen to leave behind in Derdriu. This little girl was either a very wealthy commoner or a noble. She knew that some of the nobles around her age had already settled down and had children of their own, but Tiana on the other hand, was looking for true love. His station mattered not to her, but his intentions and personality matter greatly.

“Whoa! This is like the Garreg Mach Monastery! But with better furniture.” A middle aged looking man who was bald and quite chubby paid little attention to her as he was busy feather dusting expensive looking items. Definitely a noble Tiana thought to herself. The girl still wouldn’t release her grip on Tiana’s wrist.

“Look, Bertram!” The little girl jumped up with joy. “I found a new nanny in the streets! Can we keep her?” The girl spoke of Tiana as if she was a puppy or kitten, not a human being.

“If she doesn’t poop on the floor it’s fine with me.” Bertram turned away and continued to dust a picture frame.

“Wait, don't you have any more questions?” Tiana asked.

“Do you poop on the floor?” Bertram answered with sarcasm.

“No.” Tiana spoke slowly.

“Congratulations! You just made the first cut.” Sarcasm could be found in Bertram’s voice again, more obvious this time than the last though. “Wait here the parents will be home soon to interview you.” Little did Tiana know that ‘the parents’ was referring to Cassian von Brandt, Ennora Goneril, Catalina Noor, Vicktor Goneril, Carla von Albrecht, and Zachary von Albrecht. All of them Alliance nobles who had settled down and had children. The young girl dragged Tiana by her wrist to the black velvet couch for them to sit.

“All this and all I have to do is take care of one cute little girl!” Screaming could be heard in the distance. Just then three kids all chasing after each other entered through the door leading to the balcony.

“Balthus! Give me back my moon!”

“No way!”

“I need it for my solar system!”

“I’ll show you a moon.” Balthus then lowered his pants until his undergarments could be seen and the girl arguing with him, Sohelia, shoved him right onto Tiana and Hilda, the little girl. He started to crawl around to regain his advantage in footing against Lia.

“Okay, okay.” Tiana fixed her dress. Then Holst, Hilda’s older brother, crawled onto Tiana as Sohelia was trying to suffocate Balthus by repeatedly hitting him with a pillow.

“Hey! Stop it! Stop it! Sohelia, stop it!” Holst exclaimed.

“Stop it! Lia, ouch!” Balthus appeared to be injured.

“Please tell me those kids are in the wrong apartment.” Tiana had no clue what she was in for…

“Those are my brothers and sister. Well really only Holst is related to me but we all live together. Baltie is his best friend and they’re also friends with Lia.”

“Or as I call them, the nanny killers.” Bertram seemed tired of whatever this was.

“Stop it!” Holst exclaimed once more.

“Balthus, Sohelia, please. Violence is never the solution.” Sohelia then hit Holst in the face with the same pillow she was terrorizing Balthus with. “To heck with the non-violence! I am on you like stripes on a tiger!” Then Holst jumped onto Lia’s back and started very weakly pummeling her with his tiny fists. He managed to get her to fall over and she shrieked.

“Yeah!” Balthus cheered. She shrieked some more.

“Stop, Holst, stop!” Then Balthus grabbed the pillow and started pummeling them both with it as he jumped on them.

“I’m a good child. Make me brownies!” Hilda smiled and demanded. Screaming, laughing, shrieking and all sorts of noises could still be heard from the trio. Tiana grabbed onto Balthus who was clinging to Holst’s leg while Sohelia was attacking the boys with the pillow now.

“Uh, hey, release!” Tiana shouted as she pulled Balthus off of Holst’s leg.”Usually works with the dogs back home.” She continued to shout release at Balthus until he let go of Holst’s leg. Sohelia continued pummeling Holst with the pillow.

“Hello, I’m Balthus. And you are?” He was most definitely hitting on her….

“Way too old for you.” Lia hit him smack in the face with the pillow and he fell onto his back. “Do you kids fight like this in front of your parents?” Tiana sounded exasperated. The question was directed towards Hilda. Just then the elevator dinged and opened to show the parents. All the couples were making out but the children were glad to see them regardless.

“Sometimes. But they never come up for air long enough to notice.” Hilda responded, referring to the fact that their parents were always all over each other.

“Mom! Dad!” The other three exclaimed as they ran towards their respective parents. Ennora and Vicktor greeted Holst, Cassian and Catalina greeted Sohelia, and Zachary and Carla greeted Balthus. Two of the three wives were blonde, though Catalina had a darker complexion than that of Ennora and Carla. Carla looked like she wasn’t familiar with noble traditions however and her hair was the same color as Balthus’. Ennora looked the most accustomed to this life out of the three women. Carla had freckles, and her hair was wavy. Catalina wore hers in a braid and it looked very silky, she wore golds, purples, and greens…..Almayran colors. Ennora looked like she could possibly be from the Kingdom, maybe even be a Blaiddyd, but she’d been born and raised a noble in The Alliance.

“Their parents are Cassian and Catalina von Brandt, Zachary and Carla von Albrecht, and Ennora and Vicktor Goneril!? The renowned Alliance nobles!?”

“No, they're sheep farmers.” Bertram replied sarcastically.

“Hey guys, we missed you so much!” The wives exclaimed.

“And we brought presents!” The men shouted while holding giant blue bags. Tiana appeared to be excited.

“Not for you, this isn’t Ordelia.” Bertram explained. Hilda grabbed Tiana by the hand.

“This is Tiana, I want her to be our nanny!” Balthus chuckled.

“So do I~”

“Nanny Kay quit? Did she say anything before she left?” Carla asked.

“She said you’d be hearing from her lawyers.” Lia responded.

“And then she said AHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Hilda grinned while doing her impression of the crazed nanny and flailed her arms around.

“Who wants to see the cool toy that Erwin Fritz Gloucester gave me?” Vicktor asked.

“Me!” All the children shouted. He then pulled out an armorslayer.

“Is that a real armorslayer?” Tiana asked.

“Of course not, it’s just a prop.” Vicktor then cut straight through the chair that was to his left. “Awesome!” He shouted and the children went wild. It was a heartwarming sight and reminded Tiana of such times with her own father, Oswald and her brother, Godfrey. “Oh, maybe we better let that Ewok out of the toy chest….” The kids then looked deep in thought. “Let’s go.” He picked up Hilda and raced towards where Tiana presumed the toy chest was.

“Lia, how’s your science fair project coming? I don’t care what those judges said last year, I loved your glitter volcano.” Carla was the one who asked this, the kids were very close with other nobles and their children, but were also very isolated from them at the same time. They’d never truly met the Ordelias, Riegans, Gloucesters, Daphnels, Phlegethons, Siwards, among many others. They just knew that their parents worked with them. Nothing more, nothing less.

“Mount Fabulous?” Lia giggled.

“Thanks Carla, but this year’s gonna be even better! I got a clipboard and everything, I’m gonna be super science-y.”

“Okay, daddy and I will be back in time for your science fair tomorrow but first we have to fly to the Fraldarius territory for a super important yearly meeting we’re getting paid by the church to attend.”

“I love those meetings! They are the best giant, cross-continent meetings of all time!” Tiana had obviously been to these meetings with being the daughter of Duke Oswald and all. About two hours later she sat in a chair in the kitchen that also served as the dining room while Sohelia, Hilda, Holst, and Balthus’ parents looked over their detailed background check on Tiana.

“According to our security team you’re a straight A student, a universal blood donor, which could come in handy with our kids, AND you have a squeaky clean record. Except for once in third grade you went to the bathroom without a hall pass.” Ennora read over the information they were able to obtain on Tiana.

“If you’d tasted that cafeteria food you’d understand why.” “Armadillo does not go down easy.” Ennora grabbed Tiana’s hands and moved closer as she stared into her eyes. “Whatcha doin’?”

“Just getting a read on you. I made a fortune trusting my instincts. That and slapping my name on everything from sunglasses to cat food.” Ennora let go of Tiana’s hands and moved away. “You’re hired!”

“Really?”

“Yeah!”

“Thank you!” The pair hugged and then Tiana proceeded to hug Catalina, Zachary, Cassian, Vicktor, and Carla. The start of her new life began now. Balthus sprinted in with a giant grin on his face.

“Hey mom! Can I date the new nanny?”

“Let me think about it. No.”

“Oh well, ours will be a forbidden love.”

“Starting now.” Tiana then led Balthus out of the room.

So this is a sequel to this post I did about Claude's supports in Three Houses. I've been compiling as much information about his backstory as I can since it wasn't as fleshed out as Dimitri and Edelgard's, and with the release of Three Hopes a lot more has been revealed about it.

I'm also including things that were revealed in developer interviews and the Cindered Shadows dlc that I just never added to the previous post.

Claude's actual name is Khalid, and he is the youngest known prince of Almyra. Despite having at least one older sibling he's the king's chosen heir

Claude's only known sibling is his older half brother Shahid, who openly hates him

Claude's father is not named and is referred to exclusively as the King of Almyra

Claude's mother is named Tiana von Riegan

Claude's uncle was named Godfrey von Riegan

Claude's grandfather was named Oswald von Riegan

Shahid is clearly desperate to gain his father's favor so he can be the next king of Almyra, but through his poorly thought out strategies and blatant want to start a war with Fodlan its also made quite clear he's a bad fit

Nader says that the King is very obvious in his favoritism, and that Claude is his clearly his favorite son. It's definitely contributed to how much Shahid hates his brother

When Claude first showed up to Fodlan it was completely out of the blue and at minimum all he had was a letter to Judith from his mother asking her to take care of him. Whether Oswald knew where Claude came from is uncomfirmed

It is confirmed that when he left he likely only told his mother and possibly Nader where he was going, because according to Nader the reason why Shahid was able to attack the border without interference is that the King has been busy worrying himself sick trying to figure out where Claude went

According to Nader, when he and the King were younger they used to sneak across the border and travel around Leicester to have a good time

A nameless npc states there is a story of the daughter of a certain noble falling in love with an Almyran prince during one such escapade, who then abandoned her house to return to Almyra with him and become his queen (this npc also says she doesn't believe it's true which appears to be the general consensus)

Almyra's terrain is made up of prairies, deserts, and mountain ranges

According to a nameless npc, the majority of Western Almyra speaks the same language as Fodlan, and even lacks a notable change in accent. Eastern Almyra mostly speaks is own separate language

Almyra has giant merchant ships that they use to trade with other countries, while Leicester doesn't. The Golden Deer manage to use a few in the war because apparently Nader just stuck the paperwork in the King's face while he was half asleep and he didn't even notice what he was signing

@jugdraldefender pointed a few things i missed in the tags so I'm editing them in, along with some others I forgot

After the chapter where Claude either leaves or is killed (Azure Moon and Crimson Flower specifically) an assassin can be found in Abyss that will tell Byleth about how his target was a prince that either got away or was killed, depending on your choice

During an optional paralogue in Golden Wildfire, Claude tells Judith that he's the Prince of Almyra. She takes it rather well and even stops calling Claude 'boy'

While most characters believe Claude's cover story that he's an offshoot from house Reigan who just happened to inherit a crest, Judith, Holst, and Balthus all could tell he was Tiana's son and comment on it several times

Outside of the optional paralogue the only one who ever figures out Claude's other side of the family is Balthus, who researches it for Count Gloucester. He never shares this information with him, but he does get Claude to promise to reintroduce Balthus to Tiana so he can get some closure over his first crush in exchange for his silence. Claude comments that he wonders if his father will get the chance to kill Balthus before Tiana does it herself

FE OC Week Introductions:

Felicity-Adjacent:

Felicity 'Fia' Eirian Fraldarius (née Gloucester) Lorenz's aunt (his father's sister) who marries Rodrigue and moves to Faerghus. She's purple, taller than Rodrigue in heels, and my favourite lady ever. Super refined and skilled at court, poison, gossip, backstabbing, and finding advantageous situations for herself and her immediate family. Once she goes to the School of Sorcery she makes a friend and chills out a bit but the scheminess never truly goes away. Can be selfish. when things look bad for others, she's a voice of reason. When they look bad for herself, she makes them worse.

Reinald Gloucester Lorenz's father. I'm sorry, I'm an Erwin Denier. My Count Gloucester looks like Gunter from Fates and is a bitter gossipy bitchass who plots to kill Godfrey and then succeeds. He's got no hope of redeeming himself. He wants Lorenz to be a miniature version of himself and then Lorenz goes and makes friends. He wants Felicity to be an extension of the Gloucester plotting in Faerghus but then she goes and makes friends. Reinald maybe if you made some friends you would calm down, but I know you won't.

Felicimom I don't have to waste time on Felicity and Reinald's parents. Felicimom is from Adrestia and is a snob. She also is disparaging and controlling.

Felicidad Count Gloucester Sr is a boring old coot who wants to have his hands in all the pies, hence marrying an Adrestian, encouraging the rivalry between his family and Riegan, and sending Felicity off to the Kingdom to marry the future king's right hand man in the hopes that she will be able to convince him to legislate according to Gloucester's wishes. Maybe even to try and get one of her kids (hopefully bearing the crest of gloucester) into the royal family via arranged marriage. Anyway this obviously does not work out once felicity makes friends.

Unnamed Pegasus Felicity gets to be a Dark Flier because I think it's cool. Her pegasus is a gift from Rodrigue on their anniversary (second or third, idk). I don't have a name for this beast yet.

Colette 'Letty' Faustine Dominic Annette's mom. Why is she Felicity-Adjacent? Well it's because they were roommates at the School of Sorcery and Colette was Felicity's first and only friend for a long while. She's a lot like Annette when it comes to study, but she's not shy about her singing. Will shout well-known tavern songs at the top of her lungs with the usual lyrics replaced with inappropriate ones.

Godfrey von Riegan Claude's uncle who dies before Houses. I'm saying that he and Percival (Rodrigue's brother) met at the Officer's Academy and struck up an unconventional relationship that they continue, long-distance. He loves art and jokes and good wine and bad wine and theatre and being at the heart of drama and gossip.

So apparently there is @fe-oc-week going rn and I almost missed it! So I am going to clump as many of the prompts as I can.

Day 1: Introductions

Her name is Elena von Riegan! The illegitimate daughter of Godfrey von Riegan and his mistress Setsuna. She was born in the year of 1153. When she was about six years old, her and her mother left the Leicester Alliance to get to another country, but they end up in Fraldarius territory where they stayed. When the plague hit, it took her mother, leaving her by herself with no family left to speak of. She is a dark flier and her pegasus was a gift from Lambert and was once his first wife's pegasus.

Elena is very energetic, cunning, and stubborn. She loves her pegasus, dancing, singing, purple butterflies, rose acacia flowers. spicy food. Here interests includes learning new tactics, exploring, new training styles, and scheming. She does not like her father, disorganization, heat, and swimming. Elena is one year younger than Glenn and she is 9 years older than Felix.

Day 2: Relationships

She was part of the next generation of Faerghun four which includes Glenn Govan Fraldarius, Colby Frey Galatea, and Miklan Anschutz Gautier.

Glenn: Her childhood friend who she bonded with instantly. Over the course of their lives, they became best friends and did everything with. Eventually the two did fall in love with each other, but never acted on it because of Glenn's betrothal to Ingrid. She is the one that Glenn trusts the most.

Colby: They are very close and are childhood friends. They are pure chaos with each other and have zero braincells when they are around each other. They do care about each other deeply and Colby trust her to the point that he told her that she is a trans woman and wants to go by Astrid instead of Colby.

Miklan: The two used to be so close, like brother and sister, and did everything together. They both trained in axes and war tactics under Matthias and magic under Miklan's mother, Raven. They always competed with each other to see who was best. Elena always won. But with the birth of Sylvain, that's when their relationship broke. They constantly fought and she did everything she could to protect Sylvain from Miklan's terrible behavior. With the way Miklan treated his younger brother, she lost all feelings towards him and felt relief when he left/died.

Holst: They are friendly with each other and get along very well. They usually train with each other or have a little tea party to catch up on life since they don't see each other all that often. Sometimes they are at odds with each other, but usually they come to an agreement.

Balthus: As much as Elena likes Balthus, she gets very frustrated with Balthus. Most of her frustrations come from cleaning up his mess with Holst. She constantly questions their friendship and wonders how is still alive most of the time.

Claude: Elena cares for Claude so very much. Whenever they are around each other, they get into so much trouble and have so much fun. They pull multiple pranks on people, especially on the Gloucester family. They constantly give Judith and Nader heart-attacks. Elena also is very motherly towards Claude.

Godfrey: Elena despises her father and can't stand him. She went no contact with him after her and her mother left Riegan Territory. From what she remembers of him, she didn't feel like he cared for her or her mother. She also felt like she was like she was never meant to exist and that she was a plight on the Riegan name. So she never cared to keep in contact with her father when she got older.

Amelia: Elena always felt loved from Duchess Fraldarius, as she was the daughter Amelia never got. The two of them are very close, and they treat each other with a lot of respect.

Rodrigue: Rodrigue is like a father to Elena. He treats her with such kindness, softness, and gentleness. If she had any opinion on how a father should be, it would be Rodrigue. He trusts her with a lot of information and has her as his advisory, not only for him, but for his wife and his son Glenn.

Lambert and Aisla: Elena is like a daughter that they never had. They are like a third family to her. They care for each other deeply and trust her with so much.

Dimitri: Elena is like an older sister Dimitri and one of his closest friends. She would do anything to protect him, even at the cost of her life and in turn he would do the same. She believes in him and the future he wants to create. She is also very motherly towards him.

Ingrid: Elena and Ingrid don't get along with each other at all. She wanted to befriend her and be nice to her for Glenn's sake and because she would become Ingrid's advisor in the event she becomes the next Duchess Fraldarius. But that always failed with Ingrid's jealousy and hatred towards her. Elena does everything possible to avoid Ingrid.

Day 3: Backstory

Elena was born the only, and illegitimate, daughter of Godfrey von Riegan and his mistress Setsuna. She is also the niece of Tiana von Riegan and cousin to Claude von Riegan.

Setsuna's and Godfrey's relationship was kept in secret, and when Elena was born, her existence was also kept as a secret. Shortly after Godfrey's relationship and daughter found out, Setsuna feared the worst for her and her child, she took Elena and left the Alliance Territory. Setsuna fled towards Duscur in hopes of saving Elena from her family and all the backlash.

On their way to Duscur, they ended up in Fraldarius, only hoping to stay the night. While they were there, Elena befriended Glenn instantly. After that, they stayed there. Setsuna became an advisor to Duchess Fraldarius, Amelia and Elena enjoyed her childhood in Fraldarius.

Because of her mother constantly traveling, Elena was able to befriend Colby/Astrid Frey Galatea and Miklan Anschutz Gautier. She was able to train in axe and tactics under Matthias and reason magic under his wife, Raven. She would also travel with Amelia and Glenn to the Alliance Territory, where Elena was able meet Balthus and Holst.

With her friendship with Glenn and the Fraldarius family, she grew close to the Blaiddyd family. She learned how to hunt, ride a pegasus, and light magic because of the Queen Consort, Seraphina. Once Seraphina passed away, Lambert gifted Elena with his wife's pegasus because he knew no one would be able to ride her and Elena would be able to take care of her.

Growing up with Glenn, she fell in love with him. He was always so kind, so gentle with her, and he gave her all of his trust. They always confided in each other. As they grew, it always pained her that he would end up with Ingrid to the point where she debated leaving the Fraldarius family. She stayed anyways with the family, coming to the conclusion that she was content being with Glenn even if he was going to marry Ingrid.

Much to her delight, Glenn decided that after his travels to Duscur, he would end his betrothal to Ingrid and truly start his relationship with Elena.

Day 4: Tragedy

Elena was cleaning some rooms in Castle Fraldarius for when Lambert, Matthias, and a few other visitors came for some business. While she did that, she found a notebook that belonged to Lambert's first wife. While she read through it, she thought it would be best if he saw it because it had some incriminating info about Rufus and what his plans were for the throne. When she went up to Fhridiad to discuss negotiations with Duscur, she forgot the notebook and Lambert, Glenn, and the small army to wait a couple days. If she wasn't back from Fraldarius with the notebook, to go ahead and leave without her.

When she was on her way back to Fhridiad, she was ambushed by the TWISTED. She fought off as many as she could, but she wasn't able to survive the attack. She ultimately died along with her pegasus. In her last moments, she wished Glenn all the happiness in the world and hopefully he loves someone as much as he loved her. Her body was taken back to Fraldarius Castle where she had a proper funeral. Her pegasus was taken back to Fhridiad to have a proper send off of her own.

Day 5: Joy

In another world, she gets to Fhridiad in time and saves her life and the life of many, including Glenn's and Lambert's. Because of this, Glenn was able to call of his betrothal to Ingrid and they began to date, eventually getting married. They ended up having two children, Akari and Hotaru. They had Akari when Felix went to the academy, right around the time he receives the Aegis shield. Then they had Hotaru during the five year war.

Day 7: Endings

She will only have one canon ending and that will be with Glenn.

"After the war had ended, Elena went back to House Fraldarius with her beloved husband. Both Glenn and Elena rebuilt and restored Fraldarius Territory to its former glory, even making it better than the previous Duke and Duchess. It was often said that the Duke and Duchess spent much time in the kitchen with their children, filling the castle with laughter and celebrations. The recipes that they had, were passed down from generation to generation and became pillars of what food that started a culinary revolution, setting a new trend in the culinary world."

Dang, that one FE 3 hopes fancomic on twitter wasn't kidding; Lorenz can win the entire War by himself, while Shez & Claude gets pizza. For real, he has an ability that makes him invincible AKA taking NO DAMAGE. A YouTuber posted videos about this, with today showing a LEVEL ONE Lorenz can still solo carry on hard while reaching S-Rank results.

Quickly scrolled through my twitter to see if I'd retweeted what you're referring to with 0 memory of it, but I don't think I have. If anon or anyone else has a link, I'd love to see it? asdfasd

I've seen a bunch of jokes about Lorenz taking No Damage though and they're all so funny. sdfgsdfgs Good for him, and his gilded Gloucester roses.

Tbh I hadn't played him a lot yet. When I first finished GW I moved onto AG and then SB, and then went back and spent all my in-game money in each save file on the various gifts in the shop to see each character's C support with Shez (DIDN'T SAVE so I could reuse the gifts / keep my gold), and Then went back a few times to replay fights in GW to level up characters I hadn't been using (I had been using Lorenz) for the sake of party balance and seeing their C supports amongst each other.

(LONG negativity and spoilers of the content in the demo and 3 houses below the cut)

Additionally, I am dismayed about Lorenz thus far. Besides him not having an A support with Hilda, there's no dialogue for their C support I unlocked, and his C support with Claude is stuck behind a plot point "These characters will not be able to increase their support for some time," and Lorenz's C support with Shez hurt me personally sdfjkhbsdkjfg . Because I'm a Big Baby.

So like, I was on the verge of not liking Lorenz the first time I played fe3h, and I was so shocked and romanced and enamored and whatever about his postskip content in VW, both in his supports and otherwise, but all that character growth came from a year of missions with Byleth / My Unit / Fae and 5 years of war. 3 Hopes will be set primarily 2 years into the war, after what amounts to barely half a mission with Shez / My Unit / Avery, Lorenz isn't on a path to personal growth as far as I can tell, and has no need to be.

I'm distressed that Count Gloucester giving Acheron a device that controls demonic beasts causing the assassination of Duke Godfrey von Riegan and Raphael's parents will never come up. While three houses didn't provide Lorenz the opportunity to speak on this, one could at least imagine that he was informed. He had time to make more than acquaintance with the commoners at the academy, to be more than suspicious of Claude. He had reason to question his worldview.

In Verdant Wind there is a moment where Claude reassures Lorenz that he wouldn't ask him to fight his father, to which Lorenz responds that while he's glad of that he would, if asked, because his serves his people (of Fodlan? Gloucester? I forget). I'm not coordinated enough to manage the datamine well:

But we have this other moment in 3 Hopes so far where Claude has instead asked Lorenz in wording that felt very similar, whether he would fight his father.

And Lorenz stayed silent, but there was the strong implication that he would not, in my opinion. He has no need to question what he's learned, and based on the pacing of the demo I'm unconvinced there will be the time to.

And then there was Lorenz's C support with Shez where he tells Shez that as a commoner he should not be leading troops, and he goes on about how it's the nobility's responsibility to look after commoners and concludes by offering his protection to Shez if Shez requires it. There is the option to thank Lorenz, and so i do, and Shez says something to the effect of, "Oh, I thought you were here to complain, but you're actually being nice." And Lorenz can barely control his laughter. He finds it so droll: the very idea! That he could be nice to a commoner! And Lorenz clarifies it isn't kindness, he's simply explaining How Things Are, and Shez realizes that Lorenz is there to complain and the whole thing left me so … sad.

Because it felt like the sort of character analysis of him that I'd write! Where I say that he's actually kind and chivalrous and in love with the idea of love, and isn't just this hollow misogynist ideal of duty. Why the olive branch to Lysithea, the acceptance of Leonie's authority, the admiration of Ignatz's talents, the willingness to aid Hilda, if not because of a respect for others?

So I hadn't gone back to playing Lorenz yet. I expect he will be much as I love him by the end of the game still, but this specific slap in the face hurt me after the plot has already been so unkind.

She rose an eyebrow when Claude mentioned that he did having a standing in Almyra, though he didn't specify what kind. "Certainly not, but...you aren't the child of Tiana von Riegan, are you? I know that you said you were from an offshoot of the main branch of House Riegan, but...even if that were the case, you would've been legitimized the moment that your Crest manifested and yet you were only declared as the heir when Duke Oswald was scrambling to find a successor due to the untimely death of Godfrey von Riegan.

"Tiana von Riegan disappeared before her brother's passing, but..." It was weird just how passionate Claude was about opening diplomatic relations with Almyra. It was weird how none of the other offshoots of House Riegan stepped forward with an heir that bore the Crest yet he showed up out of nowhere. And it was strange how often Claude spoke of being an outsider; maybe he meant that literally. "And rumor has it that she fled to Almyra. It was just hearsay, however..."

There are far more interesting stories than discussing mystery of my sudden appearance here" although he did phrase it in an interesting way "And me being connected to Almyra isn't the only reason why I want this union. This is but the beginning... But it might be the toughest one" that's why he needs to physically be there.

Name: Pit Regis Steelland Birthplace: Derdriu, Leicester Alliance. Gender: Male Birthday: 5th of the Harpstring Moon Imperial year 1162 (may 5th) Height: 5'4 | 163 cm Age pre timeskip: 18 Age post timeskip (3 houses): 23 Age post timeskip (3 hopes): 20 Proficient in Reason, with a hidden boon in Faith and Gauntlets Secret class: Geomancer. Allows to learn Quake Σ and other special earth related spells. Sexuality: Bisexual Starting class: Commoner Starting house: Golden Deer Appearance pre timeskip: Typical student uniform at Garreg Mach. A bit on the chubby side though. Medium length brunette hair with glasses on, he needs them to see. Appearance post timeskip both three hopes and three houses: Basically the look found here. Though to note he's got a scar in three hopes on his right cheek, and in three houses and hopes he's a lot more fit and toned build wise. Special notes: Has a weird talent of being able to 'read' people. As in he can basically tell a person's motives by talking with them for a bit. He can be wrong, or not be able to read a person. He can join any house, but if you go with the Crimson Flower route. He will betray you during Chapter 14: The master tactician.

Background: Born to a family of mages in the capital of the Leicester Alliance. Pit was happy for many years, though he wasn't a noble, his family was basically treated like one as for generations they served under the Riegan's. Pit's Mother, Regina. As well as his father, Regis both served Oswald Von Reigan for many years. Pit lived a nice life as he was welcomed to many places thanks to that status. Even to a special library in the capital. Pit would go there daily and read all sorts of books on magic. Though, one day while he was in there he bumped into a book case and a strange book fell and bumped him on the head. Oswald was there and picked up the book and read it for a bit. Looking it over he would hand the book to him and said to keep it a secret from even his parents. At least as fun treat, Oswald really didn't think nothing of it, but he just loved how happy Pit was about getting a 'special' book from the Duke that his parents worked for. Of course, what came to be would be Pit's life work. He spent day and night reading this book, trying to figure it out. As he soon discovered it was a long lost type of magic. Geomancy. He tried putting his heart and soul into using the spells and such, but never could he figure it out. Of course while this all happened, the sad events of the passing of Godfrey came to pass. Though when it was learned of a new heir to the throne of Riegan, Pit was happy to hear this. When he met Claude before going to academy he treated him with the utmost respect. After all, if Oswald approved of his grandson. Why shouldn't he? Indeed, Pit never held any ill will towards Claude, and neither did his parents. His mother and father welcomed Claude with open arms just like his Grandfather did. They were happy just to know Lady Tiana was alive after she disappeared. When the time came to join the officer's academy. Oswald recommended Pit to go, as he wanted Pit to get all the lessons and skills he could to become the next great mage for the house of Riegan just like his parents. So he went with his blessing and came to the Academy to be in the same class as Claude in the Golden deer.

FE OC Week Introductions:

Rodrigue's Immediate Family

Percival 'Percy' Narcisse Fraldarius Rodrigue's younger brother. Trans. Spymaster. Demiromantic Bisexual. Involved with Godfrey von Riegan who helped him realize he was trans when the two of them attended the Officer's Academy together. He likes garish patterns and art. Annoying little sibling supreme. Possibly a coward, it's hard to tell.

Boreas Clemente Fraldarius Rodrigue's dad who is soooooo hot and super tough and kills wolves with his bare hands. His favourite thing is the chance that he might die to protect the king someday. Loves to argue. The only one able to argue successfully with Lambert's father. Extremely flawed but I sexualize that constantly. At the end of the day he means well and cares a ton for his family but he just doesn't know how to communicate outside of arguing.

Melodie Maiwenn Fraldarius Rodrigue's mom who is an archer and healer and wants a huge family. She's spoiled and selfish but will do anything for her family. Decisive and opinionated, she will gladly indulge her husband's love of arguing. She spoils all her kids, and her grandkids, and anyone who is a friend of her kids or her grandkids.

Glenn Merle Fraldarius Felix's brother we all played houses. In my mind he is a cocky little hotshot with sk8tr boi helmet hair. He's like Johnny in the Devil Went Down to Georgia. I need to write an au where he lives.

Ange D'Aurore 'Angie' Rodrigue's horse, Ange D'Aurore. His father's horse before him, and Boreas' father's horse before that. How long has this horse been in the Fraldarius family? Another heirloom, perhaps--but Rodrigue has no chance of giving this one away no matter how he tries. The animal is often referred to as 'the Bastard' because he loves to bite and kick and kill. Loyal and brave, but only to those he deems worthy. More than he appears.

Estella Casagranda Rodrigue's illegitimate daughter with Manuela. Born 9 months after Rodrigue visits Garreg Mach to ask for help with the whole Lance of Ruin situation. So far she's just a baby but she takes after Manuela more in looks. She will likely show an aptitude for Faith magic and be a wonderfully kind young woman.

Rodina "Roe" Louise Fraldarius She is one year younger than Glenn (22 at White Clouds). Like an old-school fe myrmidon but as a holy knight. Lesbian, I will be shipping her with Shamir. Very loyal, kind, and good, but has a cultured, aloof way of speaking to people that makes her intimidating to those who don't know her.

Diable de Neige 'Blé' Rodina's horse, Diable de Neige. Sired by Ange D'Aurore and named so auspiciously because everyone figured he'd be a bastard just like Ange, but in reality he is quite sweet.

I know with @fe-oc-week is over but I still have one oc left to talk about because she gives me so much brainrot. Art is a commission I had done by the lovely @/cathpunn on IG!

Day 1: Introductions

Her name is Amelia von Atalanta/Amelia Fraldarius and she is the second daughter of Baron Atalanta. She was born in a small village in the Alliance Territory.

She has a very crest called the crest of Atalanta, which hasn't been seen since the War of Heroes. It's a very powerful one where whatever emotion they are feeling, the weather changes and increases their magical ability by 25%. It also has a very big recoil, the more they use it, the more it does damage to her body.

Up until she went to the Officers Academy she was described as emotionless and as cold as Northern Faerghus winters. They do have a sharp tongue and can be very straightforward and blunt. She constantly kept her emotions to herself and in check. But when they left the academy and making new friends who saw her as human, she is a very kind, caring, and warm woman.

Amelia got a few nicknames, The Sword of the Alliance and The Winter Rose by people in the Alliance. The nicknames Rodrigue gave them was My Rose and Little Rose.

Her interests include new fighting techniques, eating new food and learning how to cook or bake them, and weapons. They like cooking, baking, sewing, singing, dancing with Rodrigue, and roses. Her dislikes are her father, her sister, Godfrey, Tiana, fighting, and hunting.

Day 2: Relationships

Godfrey: Amelia despises Godfrey. He never appreciated her and her work. He constantly overworked her and always gave her too many missions. They were always in his shadows with wits and tactics. No matter what they did, Godfrey would always criticizes their way of working and would often reprimand them. She never felt like she meant anything to him.

Tiana: Amelia despises Tiana. They never got along and were always fighting with each other. Every time Amelia did something, it always seemed like it was a plight against Tiana. They always found each other annoying but only put up with each other until something big happened in their lives. Amelia always was in the shadows of Tiana in beauty and her boundless cheer.

Judith: While Judith is Tiana's best friend, Amelia would do their best to avoid her, only talking to her when need be. They have a mutual understanding that they were to protect the Riegan family. They aren't very close and Amelia just thinks she is a nuisance that might get her in trouble with Tiana. Judith thinks of them as very lose friend that she wishes to be close with.

Erwin: Amelia hates Erwin with a passion. He would do anything to rile her up to get her mad and get them in trouble, not knowing the serious repercussions of his actions. He always ending up getting badly hurt, or something worse happened. Regardless, Erwin had so much fun making her mad or pranking her.

Duke Goneril: Duke Goneril was one of her closest, and only, friends growing up. Even with the five age year difference, they were pretty close up until adulthood. They would always confide in each other and always helped each other out when they could. Duke Goneril was one of the very few people who knew most of her secrets. They were like siblings.

Rodrigue: Their relationship at first was very rocky. This was mostly due to their differing opinion of knighthood. She didn't like his uptightness about knighthood and his retainership. Since she figured that she would be stuck with him because of the repercussions that would happen to her and her village, she put in the effort being his partner. And when he put in the effort in their relationship, they started to fall in love with each other and he became the love her life and the person she trusted the most.

Lambert: Amelia and Lambert are like siblings to each other. They trust each other very much and would protect each other. They both say their minds to each other without any judgement.

Seraphina: Seraphina was one of Amelia's first true friends after Seraphina realized that Amelia was always left out of things with her own class. They bonded rather quickly and became like siblings to each other.

Raven: Raven was another really close friends to Amelia. Raven was one of the few people who knew that Amelia had a crest and knew that she was engaged to Rodrigue. Sometimes they butt heads, but they are still very close.

Matthias: Matthias' and Amelia's relationship is that one-sided sibling rivalry that takes place. Matthias, for some reason, always tries to one up Amelia and she never knows why. They constantly has to reassure him that they are very aware of his skill set and is happy to know that they can put their faith him to protect people.

Glenn: Amelia loves her oldest son very, very much. Right around, and after, Glenn's birth, she was very worried about his health and well-being. They weren't ever on great terms with Rodrigue's mother as she was constantly having them both killed. Because of this, she became very protective of him. Glenn was attached to her hip, or Rodrigue's growing up, but later became more independent and Amelia couldn't be more proud of him. Amelia is a little concerned that Glenn got their sharp tongue and sarcastic nature. She could only wish he didn't put so much pressure on himself and does something fun and a little wild.

Felix: Amelia loves her baby boy and was really thrilled that he was born. They would do a lot together and he would tell her everything. She is always very concerned about his health since he is always reckless and always doing dangerous things. She wishes her youngest son could take it easy and relax every once in awhile.

Elena: Elena is one of the most trusted confidant that Amelia had gotten and they trust her with the Fraldarius secrets and inner-workings of the house. While that being said, Elena is like a daughter that Amelia never got and she tries to spoil and tells her that they care about her as much as they can.

Day 3: Backstory

Amelia was born the second daughter of Baron Atalanta. She was born in a small village in the Alliance Territory. Growing up they had a hard time making any friends so she spent much time by themself. They try to stay to themself as much as possible, keeping any and all secrets that she had about herself to themself. She was constantly bullied by the people around her so she learned to keep her emotions to herself and had a hard time expressing her emotions. They do have a sharp tongue, and can be straightforward and blunt. She also tries to keep her emotions in check because of her crest and doesn't want to disrupt the weather patterns and end up destroying the earth.

She never really had a good relationship with her family, not after their mother dying. Their father was a greedy man that would suck her people dry. He never gave them the time of day and only used them as a way to climb the social latter since they had a crest and his oldest daughter didn't. Their sister never cared for them and only saw them as a selfish greedy person getting what they wanted and always getting the best 'stuff.'

When Amelia was young, she would often stray from her village and she stumbled upon an exiled kingdom knight that was near death. She was able to get help and save his life. He tried his best to convince him to be her retainer, but it never worked. After a few more attempts, he became her main care giver. Only a few months later, she walked into the forest to find someone else injured and she was able to save his life. This ended up being the biggest change of fate for them. The man they saved was Godfrey von Riegan. He demanded that they be his retainer. She refused multiple times but ended up accepting after her father forcing her to. Because of this, they ended up becoming retainer for the whole Riegan family.

As she grew up, she was groomed to be the perfect person to be married off to a richer noble for her family's gain. Because of this, she was sent to the best schools, especially to the Officers Academy. This is where their father found the richest of nobles. Since he couldn't marry his child to the Prince of Faerghus, he went with the next best thing, the next Duke of Fraldarius, Rodrigue Achille Fraldarius. This led her to become close friends with the Faerghun nobles and made true friendships with them.

Being in a relationship with Rodrigue, and having the friendships she had with the Faerghun Nobles, made her feel loved and welcomed for the first time. Because of this, she was able to open up a lot more and her true personality came out. She was this kind, caring, and warm person. She also has this air of kind elegance that she had around people.

During her time in the Academy their territory was attacked and burned to ashes. They were the sole survivor of the attack. They were devastated because they were the sole protector of the village from bandits, their father, or anyone who attacked the village and everything they worked to make the place happy and prosperous, was gone. It took them a while to feel better.

When she got married, she still had many ups and downs. Her mother-in-law didn't treat her well. She only saw Amelia as a person who would give birth to children with crests and only ever said terrible things to her. Rodrigue did everything he could to make sure that the never interacted with each other. When Rodrigue and Amelia were twenty-two years old, they had their first child, Glenn. Amelia was especially concerned about his well-being.

When Rodrigue's mother found out Glenn was crestless, she knew that Rodrigue loved Amelia and Glenn with his whole heart, she knew that he would never leave them, so she would devise multiple plans to have them both killed. This led to Rodrigue usurping the Dukedom and banishing his mother from the territory. With one last failed attempt to kill them, Rodrigue ended up having to kill his own mother to save the family he truly loved.

By the time Felix was born, the family was happy and cheerful and excited the second son existed. They always wanted to give their sons better than what they did. They gave them so much love and warmth.

Day 4: Tragedy

Amelia had a few tragedies in their life. The loss of their village, no one left but them. The loss of their two friends, Seraphina and Raven. And the third one would be the loss of Glenn, Elena, and Lambert. The people they cared for the most, gone.

Day 5: Joy

Amelia had quite a few when she got into the academy and afterwards. Befriending Seraphina, Raven, Lambert, and Rodrigue. Giving her heart and love to Rodrigue and having his heart and love returned to her. Getting her betrothal gift from Rodrigue, it was a rose hair pin. Giving Rodrigue his betrothal gift, it is the cape that he wears in 3 Houses/3 Hopes. Amelia receiving her wedding ring that was imbued with special magic so she can show her emotions with out any repercussions, it is rose shaped. Their first date with Rodrigue at the beach in Derdriu. Rodrigue and Amelia's wedding day. The birth of their sons, Glenn and Felix.

Day 6: Supports

Amelia's supports would be with Godfrey, Tiana, Judith, Duke Goneril, Erwin, Lambert, Rodrigue, Matthias, Raven, and Seraphina.

With Godfrey:

This would be about her retainership with him and how she felt about people with the other classes. It also be about her being sent on missions.

With Tiana:

Tiana would probably talking to her about a few things. Talking about Amelia's appearance, about Tiana's new crushes, and Amelia supposedly doing something that's a plight against Tiana.

With Judith:

It would be about Amelia being sent on missions and trying to get things done and trying to get them to relax a little bit. It would also probably be about their friendship and how it's not great.

With Duke Goneril:

Duke Goneril would just try to check up on Amelia, making sure they are doing alright and they aren't trying to overwork themself. Also just Duke Goneril being overly doting towards little baby Holst.

With Erwin:

Just them yelling at each other and bickering about one thing or another. It would also be Erwin complaining about nobles, commoners, and his distaste of Godfrey.

With Lambert:

Amelia and Lambert would be talking a little bit out their countries and the differences between them. They would also talk about the plans of Faerghus and stuff about retainership. Lambert would also be doting over Amelia and tell her that she was appreciated.

With Rodrigue:

It would be about their future together and learning things about each other and each other's home. Doing whatever they can to show that they love each other and show that they appreciate one another. They would plan on doing things with each other no matter how small.

With Matthias:

They would talk about training techniques with each other and train a lot. Matthias would also have this weird competition with her and she never understood why.

With Raven:

They talk a lot about magic and trying to figure out how to keep their crest under-wraps and help them to control it and their emotions. There is also a lot of gossip between the two of them.

With Seraphina:

This would be about Seraphina trying to get Amelia to lighten up and to relax. It would also be about them figuring out sometime to hang out and bond to become more like sisters.

Day 7: Endings

There are going to be a few because holy heck Felix wants to be Felix.

With Felix living in Azure Moon/Azure Gleam with Rodrigue dying:

"Amelia felt a pain in her heart when she saw that her beloved son, Felix, returned with Rodrigue's body. Shortly after giving her husband a proper funeral, she stepped down as Duchess Fraldarius and gave the title of Duke to Felix. She lived the rest of her days happy with her son and his children. With Felix and Rodrigue alive in Azure Gleam:

"Amelia was relieved that both her beloved husband and son returned home safe and sound. They threw a party in the territory to help raise spirits of those around them before starting to restore their territory. Some time during the restoration, Rodrigue and Amelia gave stepped down from their position, giving it to Felix. Amelia spent the rest of her life happy with her husband, son, and grandchildren. Stories were told of her as a kind Duchess, known to help those around her with warmth, protection, and roses. She also became a saint throughout history for warmth, protection, and roses."
