The April Update for Triple Laser RPG is here!
Tons of crashes, portraits being missing, softlocks, typos, and visual bugs have all been FIXED, making the game now completable as originally intended!
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! As you may know, Triple Laser RPG was a Portal 2 inspired game jam project created in 3 weeks for the Triple Laser Jam hosted by Krzyhau, and as such shipped with numerous previously-unfixable issues including missing audio, missing portraits, options not saving after restart, bugged typing speeds, numerous softlocks and crashes, camera issues, issues with the pickup system, multiple typos, and more.
In this update, all of these problems have been addressed! The game is now properly fully completable, and has been embellished with a few extra details including dialogue changes and a hidden Easter egg.

If you played the original version of the game, I urge you to give it another shot!

(this is also my first game so i'd love for you guys to try it out!!!)

I wanna get into game development. It seems like fun, but also like one of the most complex art forms you can do alone.
Does anyone have good suggestions for staying on track and learning.
I've downloaded Godot and I'm starting to learn their code language

I just published an updated build of my couch co-op tower defense game about building mazes. It's been a really productive 4 months since the last build, and the quality of the tower art has shot way up.
You can download it here: https://briimawler.itch.io/labyrinths-of-elfhame
It's also made in godot, so you don't have to worry about bankrupting me by trying it out.

Godot is a free open source game engine (fantastic alternative to Unity) and there’s a Humble Bundle of courses/tutorials for learning it! I’m definitely looking into Godot for developing my own projects, so I thought I’d share this with y’all

Havent participated in a game jam for a long time, so I decided to make a short game for the chatsim jam :)
You play as some random person working for a scp like organistion that is talking with an AI that runs the facility your working in. This is the first time I programmed a dialog system so unfortunately the game is very short.

Edit: Most info below is outdated and the GitHub page shows a different script now because this enemy is finally fixed.
Credit to soxxoxsmox for helping me with it.
I wanted to bring up that I'm currently stuck at an enemy in my game because of 2 factors:
I wanted to make it jump while it moves but somehow it can't do both at the same time.
Even when I make it jump, the physics are a mess and I've yet to find proper values or ways to make the physics properly.
It's like the 2 things wrong with this enemy but the main gimmick itself is at least done, sort of.
Meanwhile, this video shows a properly finished enemy at least.
The point of this post is to both ask for help (Any help is appreciated) and to show off game dev progress.
YT doesn't let me put links in description yet: So here's the enemy's script.
Edit: The script above is different now.
