My Bangles birthday countdown

Today I'm 45 years old. So I'm gonna share something with you-my top ten favorite songs from my all-time favorite band, the Bangles. They're underrated, overlooked, have killer harmonies and can rock it. So here they are, after the line break.

Number ten, off of All Over the Place, Going Down to Liverpool!

Number nine, off of Different Light and all of them singing and harmonizing, Let it Go!

Number eight, off their criminally-overlooked album Doll Revolution, Stealing Rosemary!

Number seven, I'll Set You free, the rocking version off their Greatest Hits album.

Number six, off of Everything, Something to Believe In.

Number five, and one of their rockingest, Watching the Sky. I wrote a Zarana/Mainframe songfic using this song. :D

Number four, quite an uplifting number off of Everything, Some Dreams Come True!

Number three, off of Doll Revolution again and possibly Michael Steele's finest song, Song for a Good Son.

Number two, their infinitely supieror cover of Hazy Shade of Winter. There, i said it and will DIE on that hill! They did it better than Simon and Garfunkel. They own this song. This is Johnny Cash covering 'Hurt' levels of 'this is their song, now'.

And this is not only my favorite Bangles song of all-time, but my favorite song period. I consider Eternal Flame to be the greatest love song of the 1980s and one of the greatest overall.
