"I'm not surprised," Geto chuckled, taking a sip of his whiskey, if he was completely honest with himself, he felt bad for Gojo. Even if he cheated, he was still his best friend. "There's nothing to laugh about," Gojo looked stern, "I still don't know what, or when, to tell her. I'm being stuck with a baby and a woman I don't even want! How did this happen?! How could this happen to me?!"
"Should've thought about that before you cheated," Geto finished his drink and left the bar, leaving Gojo to the mercy of his thoughts.
What was he supposed to do? He could send her away, pay her to leave and never come back.
But would she?
Seeing as how she acted in his office she saw the baby as an opportunity, one she wouldn't give up easily.
Gojo pulls out his phone, typing the the name of that cursed woman, "Let's meet up tomorrow." He hung up before she had a chance to say anything, he'll work everything out, but right now he wants to go hone to you.
"Welcome back," you smile at him, pulling him into your warm embrace. You smelled nice, he hugged you tighter, littering kisses across your face. "Wow," Shoko sacastically clapped, "so cute." Gojo paled at the sight of her, "What were you guys chatting about," Gojo nervously chuckled. "Nothing much," you chirped, "she came to see me, speaking of which what were you gonna say?" Shoko laughed as he pat your head and headed towards the door.
Opening the door she looked back, "Nothing, I'll tell you later." With that, she left.
"I think you should stay away from Shoko for a while," Gojo stated as he sat down. "Why, isn't she your friend," you sat next to him, "She's okay to me, she's my friend." Gojo put his hand on your thigh and leaned close, "I don't want to see you with her or Geto." You backed away. This was strange for Gojo, he seemed agitated and worried.
"No," you stated sternly, "you don't control who I'm friends with and until you give me a valid reason as to why you don't want me to be friends with them, this discussion is over." You got up from the couch and headed towards your bedroom.
Gojo grabbed your hand and spun you around, "Please," he begged, desperation in his voice, "please just trust me, you need to be careful." "Careful of what?"
His phone rang.
"You should get that," you pulled your hand out of his grasp and continued to your bedroom. Gojo stood there, crouched down, pulling on his hair.
What was Shoko trying to tell you?
He reached for his phone and answered the call, "What." "U-um," she stuttered, "you called me." "Let's meet up tomorrow to discuss what we're going to do." "Alright then, we're should we meet?" "Anteiku. The cfe where you get my coffee," he hung up and sat on the ground, his head in his hands.
A familiar comfort washed over him as you wrapped your arms around him. "Did something happen today," you stroked to top of his head, "you've been acting weird the last few days." He only leaned into your touch, no response. Even though he was safe in your arms, all he could think about was "his" baby and how he's supposed to tell you.
The outcome he hoped for, though he knew there was no chance of, was that he'd tell you and you'd stay. If bu some miracle it was possible, he'd fight for it, or fight for you not to find out at all.
So, he'll propose.
"Do you have any idea why he was so adamant about us not hanging out," you questioned Shoko, something must've happened between the two. Shoko sipped her coffee, an awkward silence looming in the air, "It's the other way around actually, you need to be careful around him."
You looked at he confused, "what do you mean by that?" She sat straight, her demeanor changing, "What has he been up to lately? Has he been acting weird around you? Don't question it, don't you want to know why?"
"I ask but he never answers, he dodges the question completely," you looked to the side. "Where is he right now," Shoko leaned in and whispered, "he could be meeting someone right now." You abruptly stood up, discust on your face. How could she say something like that about her friend? What could've brought this on?
"What would make you say, no, think such a thing?!" Shoko returned to her straight position, a soft, sad smile on her face as she looked at you, "Your a good person Y/N, and I don't wat to see you get hurt, so be careful." With that, she got out of her seat and walked passed you, stopping before grabbing your hand and pulling you back to your seat.
She took a menu and covered your faces. "What are you do—" she cut you off, "Look over there," she pointed at the door.
Stading there was Gojo with another woman.

since gojo is sealed in a box now, i was hoping we’d see some of his inner monologue since we never know how he feels and his reasoning/thought process behind his actions. now that he can’t take any action, i wish we could see what he’s thinking during his time trapped inside :’(
*manifesting gojo inner monologue* pretty please!! 🙏
i was worried about him starving to death until i remember the numerous times he’s survived all of the bleed-outs and everything 😭
