What do you think Channie's like when he has a y/n who knows how to take care of him randomly when he needs it, like he feels really taken care of and safe-

how would that Channie transform and change, and what would his personality be like- like would there be different parts of him that would start to show..

oh my sweet Channie 🥺 I adore this man with everything in me, so here are my thoughts:

So I think Chan needs someone who can see through the front he puts on. We see it all the time where he places people above himself and has a bad reflection on himself. Y/n would be able to see through it all instantly

Part of me thinks Chan would become more confident with y/n that just knows what he needs. If he comes home super late from the company? if he cannot just get off his laptop? Y/n is there to remind himself to take a break, to eat, to drink water, etc. She knows him better than her favorite book

Y/n allows Chan to be the giddy, golden retriever person he is around the kids. Like if Lee Know or Seungmin reject his physical forms of affection, there is y/n. I think Chan’s big love languages are physical touch and quality time (kind of just assuming as a fellow ENFJ). Y/n never turns down a hug, a cuddle, or any spontaneous plan when Chan is his most energetic.

It’s obvious Chan feels guilty whenever he has to cancel or change plans. But y/n is always there to reassure Chan it’s ok, that ordinary couples have to postpone and reschedule date nights. Chan wants to y/n like treasure, and while y/n of course appreciates it, Chan worries a lot that he isn’t good enough due to being an idol. To y/n, it’s like every other job that places demands and limitations.

I think the moments Chan gets down on himself, y/n is right there to remind him of all his good qualities. I relate to Chan a lot because I hyper-fixate when something goes wrong. Y/n will be able to pull Chan out from his racing mind to reassure him. I’m talking about a lot of breathing exercises, writing sticky notes of what he does well/good qualities that he puts around the house to help him really internalize that yes, there are bad moments but he isn’t a bad person. I also think that y/n and Chan would be the couple to do like couple retreats so there is a guarantee time scheduled where they can grow as a couple. In general, Chan becomes a healthy person thanks to y/n

Channie also admitted on Bubble that he doesn’t take pictures often, like the photo of the kids he reposted this week. I think with y/n he’d be more inclined to take photos of her or abstract photos when they visit places, go out, etc. While I am not 100% if those photos would ever see the light of day, he definitely has a folder in his phone dedicated to y/n. Anything that reminds him of y/n is in there because he just values y/n.

Channie is golden retriever boyfriend coded. He's all smiles and big hugs and just wants to make you happy. Playful. Serious when necessary. He's a romantic at heart and wants to give you the whole wide world.

Lee Know is protective boyfriend. He's tough exterior but soft for you coded. Always has to be touching you, arm around your shoulders or hand on your back or legs wrapped around you...almost like hes afraid you'll float away.

Binnie is gym boy so he's obviously always using you as a weight to lift. It makes you laugh though, which only makes him do it more. He wants to hear that sound forever. Whenever he's back from the gym, he's very sore. He just wants a cuddle and for you to massage his arms.

HYUNJIN WANTS TO PAINT YOU LIKE ONE OF HIS FRENCH GIRLS- is a joke that makes you both cringe. Your artsy boyfriend does like to paint you. On large canvas. Likes to paint on you too...which leads to some soft and spicy intimacies. You're the only person that can get him to put down the sketchpad

stray kids and their dæmons

coz braem's finished reading the golden compass and is rather impressed.

notes:

— based on 'his dark materials' by phillip pullman

— somewhat based on skzoo or their general (?) impression so it's not exactly soul-accurate. but it's for fun anyway so, enjoy!!

bang chan - grey wolf

kpop leader's dæmons either are intimidating or elegant and graceful

she is intimidating. and graceful. and pretty.

yet in truth, very loving, like channie!!

chills on the sofa during chan's room, and aggressively nuzzles chan when he gets fuzzy and giggly thinking about the kids or stays

pounces on the kids' dæmons at the same time chan's cuddling or teasing them (or hoists them up his shoulder, whichever)

but would lick and curl about them coz wolves are nurturing

growls at hate comments; chan would stare after dodging them "casually" and she'd stare back pointedly

lee know - leopard cat

(gently) paws/slaps the other dæmons when minho can only stare and be done with the kids

i thought about recent fansigns and how she'd give such big loving soft eyes to the fans behind the glass separator

climbs on minho's back, then settles on his shoulder

when the kids ask for help, minho's tsundere self would be refusing it all and being reluctant

but she'd already be sniffing about the dæmons or any object concerning the problem and just wait for minho to check himself

sits on top of cabinets while minho cooks

and paws his cheek when he sleeps lol

changbin - black leopard

or more commonly known as black panther except the black is actually melanization!

someone in twitter said this i think, but like yeah, with bin's powerful gaze—why not black panther?

the panther forms came out when he starts to learn raps, the more powerful and confident he came to be with his skills as a trainee

and the biggest among the eight dæmons, even more than chan's wolf. bin's very proud of her.

cos then she can give big protective warm cuddles! you bet she let the other's dæmons just pile on her

closed, contented eyes as bin pats her or when bin himself is just pleased at himself and happy and giggly

NO BUT IMAGINE THEM WALKING TO SMTM—

hyunjin - ermine

or more commonly known as stoat! ermine is when their coat get white in the winter

would curl around his neck, and make the cutest selfie combo

zooms up hyunnie's long ass leg to do that

but that would muss up hyunjin's long hair as well so...

she'd sneeze, and hyunjin would laugh

they paint together! paw prints!!

would stand on its hind legs when hyunjin's confused

shrieks a little when hyunjin's (dramatically) surprised but would immediately nuzzle his prone/shocked form

han - siberian flying squirrel

THIS TINY WHITE FLOOF

WITH BIG EYES

IMAGINE 3RACHA ASSEMBLING AND THIS FLOOF IS JUST THERE BETWEEN A WOLF AND A BLACK LEOPARD

dives in between jisung's harnesses and the odd cuts in his stage costumes

or his pockets!

hangs upon his collar, everytime—easier access to nuzzle jisung's cheek and comfort him

the mirroring confusion look in their eyes at times

glides out to the other dæmons' head when they're cuddling or han's teasing everyone

felix - american yellow warbler

happy cheerful little twitters!

especially when yongbok's cuddling the members

then she'd settle on other dæmons head for some while

sits on felix's head usually—likes to perch on heads!

flies in a flutter or bounces about when he's excited

pecks the other dæmon's head when he's annoyed

but it's also a form of affection

alongside flying around the others while chirping nonstop

seungmin - golden retriever

chases everybody around when seungmin's in a mischievous mood

stares and wags it's tongue

and barks after seungmin says "dda!"

even more when seung makes a mischievous statement and everybody lol-ed

otherwise a good, happy boy

especially in public events—the press just coos over them (unaware of the seungmin 'main maniac' agenda...)

would just lick seungmin's face all of a sudden and make him laugh

still shifts when he debuts, up to two years later

the hyungs got dramatic when she obtained her final shape

but jeongin himself is somewhat relieved and reflects a lot about maturity (this maknae...)

zooms about when jeongin's excited

that jackson wang meme where he says "cute" with a flat face? yeah.. that's the mood here.

always on jeongin's lap—interviews, fansigns, during makeup in the waiting room

rather quiet—but will definitely shrieks and barks when the hyungs are tackling and cuddling jeongin

Hehe that’s nearly the whole list! I’m gonna add a read more to this because I’m going to give some in depth answers lol

4: who’s the funniest member and why?

This is a hard one cause I think they’re all hilarious but its between Felix, Jeongin, and Jisung ugh and Seungmin too. Felix just has that natural humor that’s really fun and he’s someone who always makes me chuckle. Jisung cause he’s just so all around with his humor? It’s like he’s bouncing off the walls and I just find that funny. Then Jeongin and Seungmin have a similar brand of humor, with their mean little one liners and just overall being pieces of shits but i love that humor.

5: if you could spend one day with the boys where would you take them?

I’d go somewhere like the shopping district of a city or even like a park. I feel like if you take them somewhere like that, a place where you could easily do stuff or do nothing at all, that’s where they’ll thrive. Seeing the street version mv’s and stuff kinda makes me feel like they’ll be fun to hang around anywhere, and they’re way of relaxing is just being together and having a good laugh. So either a park or city district, or even a beach cause that might be fun.

6: list the animals you think suit each members personality!

This one is hard but we’ll roll with it so:

Chan: Wolf/Tiger/Kangaroo (i’m undecided on his tbh)

Woojin: Bear

Minho: Cat (for obvious reasons lol)

Changbin: A rabbit maybe? Maybe a jackrabbit specifically

Hyunjin: Everyone says llama but he’s such a puppy to me? Like a Labrador or a big dog that doesn’t know its a big dog, ya know what I mean?

Jisung: quokka

Felix: Golden retriever

Seungmin: A dog but breed is undecided. Someone compared him to a border collie and I really liked that, he’s certainly a smart breed of dog.

Oh I have literally no idea uhhhhrhhhhhh

I really like the M.I.A. video just cause it’s so simple?? And the aesthetic is just right and you can really see what the boys were feeling. Or Get Cool, it’s so upbeat and lively and they’re such dorks its incredible. I think Get Cool’s Mv might be my favorite? Ugh but like my pace and the Street version mv’s are my favorites too!

Everyone says Changbin, and no lie I think he would look great with tattoos, but I honestly think Woojin would?? Give Woojin a good neck tattoo and a sleeve and fuck we’re done for.

Felix. I’ve always wanted to rock his shit for no reason whatsoever even if I love him dearly. Runner up would be Chan because I’d fight him for not taking care of himself. Ive realized I am now very agressive towards the Aussie line, maybe I should throw Hyunjin in this list too.

19: talk about your most memorable moment being a stay!

It would probably be my first time watching Channie’s room. It was kinda indescribable to just be watching someone i admired talk so closely and intimately with his fans. It was the moment I was like “damn, i made a good choice.”
