It had been a long time since Mizuki had free time to spend at the Golden Saucer. She always seemed to be on business. As she walked through the bustling rooms her eyes spotted the Moogle claw machine, curious she walked over and spotted several new plush items were part of the rotation.

"No...I must resist..." she told herself sternly "but...ton-chan needs a friend right.. Just one go.."

"just one-" she reminded herself. Reaching into her purse, she pulled out a coin and fed it to the machine. Looking at the items she wanted "tough choice but.....I want the korpokkur.."

The claw moved and tried to pick up the leafy part of the korpokkur but it slipped straight out of its little metal claws.

Her shoulders slumped as she looked at the korpokkur still within the machine.

"just one..." she said, but the korpokkur looked at her with lonely eyes.. "One more time.."

and then one more..

and another..

"Why do you forsake me?" she cried, "I wish to free you from the confines of your prison." Mizuki thought a moment "if I used magick..."

"need I remind you miss Motte that cheating is strictly prohibited."

Mizuki jumped in alarm as Godbert made his presence known beside her.

...The flower girl jumped, terrified the Golden Saucer was under attack but the sudden burst of bright blue, orange, pink and white exploding in a shower of light had her heart soar. Their shapes akin to flowers blooming into the dark night sky, the colors a vibrant explosion against the black backdrop before leaving in a wisp of white smoke, the after-image of their brilliance showcased behind her eyelids whenever she blinked.

It was magical.

The showers of light playing across the sky, one she used to be so afraid of, was a spectacle she never imagined she'd ever witness. And Zack's warmth against her, his incredible presence and being able to experience it all with him here made it even better.

"...Oh wow...so beautiful…" Aerith whispered in a breathy gasp when a bright blue firework lit up the sky.

"Sure is…" Zack replied relevantly a few moments later.

At the gentleness of his tender voice, Aerith pulled her eyes away from the show of fireworks. Emerald eyes taking in Zack's gorgeous face and upon looking at him realized that Zack wasn't talking about the fireworks at all. His perfect vibrant blue eyes she called a mere 'so pretty' long ago hadn't left her face.

She was so happy and yet she felt like crying.

Lip wobbling slightly, she whispered, "Oh, Zack, I love you so much…" A teary smile on her face as Zack brushed his fingers along the curve of her cheek before cupping it in his palm ever so tenderly.

"I love you more." he replied, his hand leaving her face to instead wrap around her waist to pull her closer to him where she eventually ended up sitting in his lap. Aerith's arms around his neck as the ex-SOLDIER leaned forward to press his lips on her cheek, the array of colors dancing across their faces as she giggled at his gentle kisses. The Flower Girl enjoying the fireworks still bursting out the Gondola window but not as much as the sensation of his soft lips pressing tenderly against her cheek and along her jaw then down the side of her neck. The thrum of pleasure, flush of her cheeks and increased heart rate pounding against his heaving chest.

Godbert had been visiting Ishgard and her family specifically.

"what chances to see you here!" he grinned, handing her a large well decorated box. Mizuki frowned and set the box down upon the table to inspect it carefully. Gingerly she reached for the ribbon and pulled it open, lifting the lid up and upon gazing upon the contents slammed the lid back down upon it. She glared at Godbert and before she could even reply, he spoke over her. "I recall during a game of cards when you had ample more free time and one too many wines in, you mentioned how cute the Golden Saucer Attendant outfits were. My own design. AND to show my appreciation that the warrior of light would humble my establishment. I had your own made." Godbert stared at Mizuki intently who was trying to slink under the table. "YOU MUST TRY IT ON AT ONCE!"

Emmanellain gasped "I must attend the Golden Saucer! It seems like a fine establishment."

"Absolutly not." Mizuki and Edmont snapped quickly. Mizuki prayed that she could escape and change-

"I have called Ser Aymeric!" Emmanellain announced.
