today’s harvest included meyer lemons, naval oranges, valencia oranges, mandarin oranges, and mexican limes - there’s nothing like winter citrus

THOUGHTS

If you were going to a mother’s day luncheon, and there was a mimosa bar, what sort of things would you like AT that mimosa bar? I mean, sparkling obviously, but like

Juices: I have orange for sure, but want at least two more

Liqueurs/syrups: I have creme de cassis, and I’m almost certainly going to make strawberry, but others? 

Other things: I think I’m gonna do candied mint leaves and lemon peel, maybe orange peel? 

any ideas out there? 

My menu is also still pretty light, but I think I’m gonna do chicken salad tea sandwiches, belgian waffles made to order with fresh whipped cream, a really beautiful fruit salad, bagels and home smoked salmon (if I can find the time), a selection of banana breads and homemade jams, and ???? 

I need to think of desserts but all I can think of is my big chocolate chip cookies Jill loves.
