They’d barely spoken to each other since boarding the ship. It wasn’t really avoidance: there were things to do, mission files to study. Still, the space between them seemed to fill with a creeping tension, unspoken things too shy to venture out into the light. The abrupt, easy way Qui-Gon had found himself thrown together with a new Councilor on Corellia—now it seemed like that had happened in some charmed world, a parallel life. The sudden distance between them felt abrupt and awkward. 

Qui-Gon decided to sort through his kit while he had a moment, to make sure he knew where to find whatever he needed. 

In the process he came across a plasti-wrapped bundle that he definitely hadn’t packed himself. It took him a moment to remember where it came from—Flora had pressed a so-called “honeymooners’ goodie-bag” into his hands before they managed to escape the pavilion. 

Qui-Gon opened the goodie-bag out of boredom, and immediately realised that he’d made a terrible mistake. 

“Qui-Gon? What is it?”

His reaction must have been loud in the Force. Qui-Gon blushed to the roots of his hair. “Nothing—” he said, hastily closing the bag. 

Obi-Wan laughed. “Well now I simply must know. It can’t be all that bad.”

The Hollow Knight Wiki has a New Home

We would like to announce that the Hollow Knight Wiki has been moved from hollowknight.fandom.com to hollowknight.wiki.

We and a lot of our readers have been frustrated over the year with Fandom's aggressive ad campaigns, the lack of freedom in customization, and having a little say in their increasingly restrictive implementations. Because of this (and more), we decided it was time to move from Fandom.

All content from the Fandom wiki has been copied to the new site and we will abandon the former wiki. The new wiki offers WAY fewer ads, faster load times, improved design, and more independence in what we can show in our articles. The new wiki will also be the only one updated with Silksong information once the game is released.

Since the Fandom wiki can't be closed, we recommend not visiting or editing it any longer. Update your bookmarks and delete your browser history with links to the Fandom wiki. You can also try out the Indie Wiki Buddy browser extension, which will redirect any Fandom wiki links to the new wiki. We aim to overtake the Fandom wiki in search results, but we can only do it with your help.

We hope you will join us in this turning point. Share this news and make more fans aware of this development, so that new wiki can gain the attention and momentum it needs.  A cult summons the ghost king. Except they don’t. Instead they get these tiny white-haired triplets of toddlers blinking at the summoning circle looking confused. 

 They’ve gotten the ghost princes and princess instead. 

 The very young princes and princess who are none too pleased and going to cause problems on purpose for both rogues and heroes alike. As godlings de-aged into their ghost age are like to do. 

 Meanwhile in the Realms, Pariah is staring down at where his trio of ghost toddlers that Clockwork had handed him when he had first woken up and was still groggy just disappeared from. He looks over at Fright Knight, his dearest brother, who looks just as shocked. 

 Clockwork is going to kill them both if they don’t get the kids back now.

idk how we got a role swap in this fic but the idea was so funny 🤣 why yes, here's this Master you'd always dreamed of working with, whose mission records are so neat and so full of useful tidbits it's practically textbook material, and because you were over-analysing them anyway you decided to write a paper on it and because you wrote a paper and kept finding a whole lot of historical material on the specific conflicts and cultures involved—

anyway yeah you ended up with a thesis that wasn't really about Councilor Kenobi, except that it is, and now the Councilor is sitting across from you sipping caff in a lil hole-in-the-wall after bailing you out and you're this close to exposing some raw relationship difficulties you've had with your own Master because you are completely off balance

How Do You Do, Fellow Humans?

Now, Fright Knight is a very experienced ghost. He's served millennia, gone through the whole ordeal that was Pariah Dark, tolerated the Observants, and generally has a large area of competence.

But perhaps he should expand his skillset.

As he was guarding an outing of the Royal family, his Queen had inquired of his pastimes. He had answered with his duties.

"I mean, you should definitely get out some more, dude. Chill a bit. Not in the Far Frozen sense."

The Princess had agreed, saying that traveling would be quite the eye opening experience for him

His Queen assured him that the royal family could suffice without his presence "for a year or two, just make sure to visit."

So the Knight of Autumn sets out to find a mortal settlement that will work. He comes across Gotham City and its respective city spirit, Lady Gotham. She graciously invites him in, and he vows to remember her contribution. She merely gives an amused smile.

Within Gotham City, Fright Knight comes across a mortal woman controlling plant life, and even if subconsciously, follows her due to the familiarity to another ghost the Queen had "known."

She has a rendezvous with another mortal woman, and they go inside a house/haunt that radiates their love. Fright Knight stands outside of it for a week straight, attempting to deduce a way for him to meet them.

Harley, on the other hand, had just opened the door at like, 2:48 in the morning and her hyenas shoot straight out the door and around the house, barking. They jump around the legs of- a giant suit of armor? Really? Just staring at the wall, is it?

Gotham, truly, is delightful.
