darling: Umm, sorry for asking this. I'm just curious because of your bio language in your header. Are you Chinese too, perhaps?

vanya: no worries!! i’m mixed guyanese (indian, chinese, & possibly black and/or portuguese), but my family only celebrates (or rather, acknowledges?) our indian descent, since the majority of our family is predominantly east indian.

my header is actually a quote from a danmei novel (and one of my all-time favorite fandoms), tiān guān cì fú (heaven’s official blessing)!

If you where to write something besides Yandere content/fandom content and started your own series? I would read the shit, out of it. I'm always nervous to interact with my favorite writers because you know, I'm afraid of the impression I'd leave but I just wanted to say this anyway! 💞💞💞🔫😳

darling one: As a writer, your post struck a nerve with me. I don’t send feedback to writers I like nearly as much as I should (and certainly not as much as I’d like in return as a writer). So, as such, I’m going to start doing that when I can, starting with you.

You are an incredible writer. You were one of the first yandere writing blogs I found and you’re still one I check in on regularly to see what you have been working on. You can portray a sense of suspense and intrigue in a natural way that many other writers - published ones included - struggle with. You delve into the darkness without it feeling forced, and you have an amazing grasp on the psyches of the characters you write for (which is a quality I adore in writing and strive toward myself).

I’m not great at ending these things so I guess.. you keep doing you? Because the you is great and I appreciate it.

the "pspspsps" summoned me. I wanted to answer earlier but I had to practice for a presentation. ANYWAY-

1) my prediction was the cat would be black just because of its association with bad luck and I though it would be a reference to the series title. However, all cats are lovely and I stan them all.

2) I think "Professor" would be fun. I don't really know why but the worms in my brain will drop me serotonin whenever I imagine saying "good morning, professor" to a cat. BUT plot wise, Dazai calls the cat at Lupin's "Sensei" and I am CONVINCED that the cat is Natsume-sensei. Dazai definitely went to pet him thinking it was a normal cat and got a heart attack when he nullified Natsume's ability and the cat was suddenly a grown-ass man. Now Dazai has trust issues around cats and ends up picking fights with reader's cat because of it. -wanon

HELLO WANON NY BELOVED does that mean you’ll be summoned whenever i “pspspsps” from now on? i hope the presentation went fine!!! how are youu

i legit,,, forget black cats are associated with bad luck most of the time,, however i Might bring in a black cat to the story later on (mayhaps the route where dazai never left pm? i can see reader having a spare room at the pm hq just for their cats, everyone else is confused but gin likes to play with them, and so does rashoumon, akutagawa on the hand,,, lets say he doesnt want to give in to the temptation)

and YEA im p sure that cat was natsume, and rewatching dark era ep1 + seeing dazai call him that (though i think it was implied even dazai wasnt aware of him up until the cannibalism act?) but just imagine the bartender is in the back maybe checking their alcohol stock, then he hears a loud yelp from the front, rushes back and sees dazai staring at the resident cat dafsgxfdhf

the nickname professor sounds so cute though,, thank you a lot ;w; (i’ll try the trick of greeting streets cats good morning w that title)

Listen Kunikida likes cats and dogs equally and if one of them forces Dazai to do more work then he will Stan. That the dog belongs to another hard worker at the agency just makes things better. But that’d definitely be something that would happen to Dazai, though Chirimen still chases him off when Kunikida offers treats. Dazai calls bullshit. Kunikida calls divine intervention in doggy form. Ooohhh that’s a good idea!!! (Nyanon, 1/7)

Dazai gets to follow Odasaku’s wishes and help someone who struggled like he did, and Kyouka still gets out! Though poor Atsushi gets a front row seat to how little the ADA trusts him... I feel like he’d be very sad, because he thought they liked him, and he isn’t quite following human concepts well at that point. Kyouka’s just thrilled to have a big brother who will also function as a fluffy, oversized teddy bear if she asks. (Nyanon, 2/7)

Also, let’s be real, what kid hasn’t dreamed of having a giant animal be as protective of them as Byakko would be of her? Poor Kunikida just can’t catch a break because “Atsushi, that’s raw, don’t eat it” // “Atsushi, animals aren’t valid witnesses, stop using them” // “Atsushi, cALL THE ANIMALS OFF AND TELL THEM YOU ARENT IN DANGER DEAR LORD-“ He’s just. Eternally suffering. (Nyanon, 3/7)

Onto Crazy Cat Man- So, as stated, it’s an AU where Fukuzawa adopts Atsushi- I’d say when he’s roughly seven years old? So about a year before Fukuzawa meets Ranpo and establishes the ADA. Atsushi, meanwhile, would’ve been at the orphanage for seven years by then, but by chance (and luck), Byakko busts him out after transforming, at which point they run into Fukuzawa, who takes one look at the Starving Tiger Cub and decides that he’s Keeping Him. (Nyanon, 4/7)

Cue Atsushi transforming back a day later, when he runs out of energy thanks to all the neglect and abuse- But he knows Fukuzawa is trustworthy thanks to some faint impressions from Byakko. Fukuzawa is just surprised that his tiger cub is actually a tiger boy, but he likes cats too much to abandon him just for that- Also, Atsushi is just too much of a sweetheart to leave on his own. So, Atsushi gets a new, cool dad that he quickly gets attached to! (Nyanon, 5/7)

And Fukuzawa thinks he might be committing some murders as every new bit of trauma is revealed- “No, Atsushi, you don’t have to beg for food.” // “Please sleep on the bed, and take more than a tiny blanket.” // “I promise I’m not going to hit you.” He very quickly becomes a papa wolf, as everyone who meets him finds out- Pretty much everyone who joins the ADA feels the same. Touch him and you die. (Nyanon, 6/7)

But I think I’ve rambled enough on that- So have what you’re here for, which is a Nyatsushi Concept: While he loves boxes, Atsushi also has the unfortunate cat-trait of getting stuck in some of them- Kyouka has seen him flailing because he got one stuck on his arm. (Nyanon, 7/7)

P L E A S E E i love the feral stray au so much can we have a moment where atsushi is sad and feeling overwhelmed and just animals gather around him and try and comfort him by nudging his cheek and stuff and hes like “Im sorry guys, they said i cant ask you for help,,,,it’s just so overwhelming here” while hes teary eyed uGH

i feel like what would keep him from leaving is that he grows attached to the ADA (especially kyouka and dazai) and he slowly regains memories from his orphanage more (cus i feel like he would forget about it little by little)

B U T as i wanted to say can we have a moment where like, theyre captured somewhere and atsushi just wants to Find Them so he calls some birds to find them for him?? and hes successful??? and then when theyre rescued theres just a SWARM of birds and atsushi waves at them like “thank you!!” and theyre like,,,well maybe animals are goo-
