I can’t shake the horror I feel looking at CHILDREN (9-13) partaking in skincare and online beauty culture. Like yeah we should teach children to care for their bodies, this is not that. I see children arguing with dermatologists. Like telling an actual doctor things like “who even are you lmaooooo” or “you’re just jealous”, children are not being allowed to be in that awkward phase anymore because they are SO online, so if they do partake in being a child, they are ridiculed by other children!!! This is so fucked up!!!!!?!???!?

Like obviously all tweens aren’t like this, my cousin is pretty normal I guess, my neighbors kids are good and normal I think? But kids are slowly being forced to not be kids and it scares me.
