an. first and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONEEE !!! here’s my gift in celebration of 2022 <3 this was inspired from a cdrama i watched and i literally had to write about it when i brainstormed the vague idea of these hcs. I REALLY WANTED TO WRITE FOR MORE CHARACTERS !!! but i feel like if i did it all in one post it’d be too long !! so for now i offer you these boys <33

he was confused at first but immediately understood your intentions. so perceptive of him insert heart eyes you thought he was going to give you head pats but all you received was a pat on the shoulder.

you just stood there like🧍‍♀️bitch where are my head pats 💔⁉️ and kaeya can’t contain his laughter because the expression you made is just way too adorable for him to handle. your doe eyes look at him confusedly while your fingertips play with your nails, nervous.

you know you kinda resemble a lovesick puppy, maybe he’ll tell you that later to get a reaction out of you. he loves the faces you make 🥰

after he’s had his laugh, a hand will sit on his hip with his head tilted to the side, his free hand gives you what you deserve: HEAD PATS 😩😍😍‼️

and right away do you lean into his hand. and i swear to GOD☝🏼✝️ kaeya almost nosebleeds at the sight of you acting like this because you’re literally about as touched starved as he is SO ITS DOUBLE THE WIN HERE 🤑🤑

“sweetheart, when were you so fond of my hands?” you know that thing he does when he lifts his brow [ bumps into a wall ] along with that cocky side grin [ trips over chair and crashes into window ] yeah his stance is just [ ambulance sirens and helicopters landing ]

and don’t tell him his gloved hands were one of the first things you noticed when you met him because if you do ✋ good luck dealing with his inflated ego 🙄 /j

even when you’re enjoying the attention you’re receiving you don’t miss that glint in his eye that makes it look like he’s fallen for you all over again ☹️☹️‼️ (please he doesn’t have the guts to say it but his gaze tells you everything, its literally oozing in love for you).

you’re going to have to give this guy a few seconds before it clicks bestie 😭🙏🏼 he has no idea why your head tilted like that when he was just trying to pull you in for a hug 😭😭😭

he hums in confusion, looking briefly from his hand to your head. “what is it?” he asks and you look like a deer caught in head lights, blinking at him because did you really just try attempting that just now 😬👎🏼

you shake your head to shrug the topic off but diluc is persistent 😠🥰 he wants to know what you’re thinking so you give in and tell him you thought he was going to give you head pats.

he didn’t know it was a form of affection 🥺😓 so you can’t blame him for not knowing HOWEVER ☝🏼😳 you didn’t realise how eager he was to try it out.

“like this?” his hand gently caresses your head before giving it those gentle pats that overflow your heart in love.

you’re loosing every bit of your sanity with every second you stare at diluc because he’s able to carefully and successfully execute what you described to him 😩🙏🏼🙏🏼‼️

there’s a small blush on his cheeks that you will tease him about later but for now you’ll just sit silently, enjoying the warmth and the closeness you have with him ☺️

zhongli

he raises a brow at your actions. “yes my dear?” and you look up at him like oh 😀 he didn’t get that ‼️ which is fine because now all you have to do is explain what head pats are while he listens to you intently with those amber eyes of his.

you end up trailing off (can’t even blame you at this point 😪🙏🏼) because you can’t focus on making proper, coherent sentences when he’s looking at you like THAT 😖❌❌

god he’s so attractive he chuckles at your flustered expression, for some reason he doesn’t understand that he has this effect on people. guess you could say baizhu’s got extra customers because of this oblivious adeptus.

he leans down just a bit so he can meet your height, lifting his hand to gently pat your head. your eyes widen because you absolutely CANNOT believe you’re getting head pats from zhongli 🚶‍♀️

you’re looking at zhongli, unknowingly leaning into his touch because wow he looks so pretty the way he pets the crown of your head so delicately is making your heart burst into cherry blossoms 😻😻💟

“this seems to be quite effective.” zhongli’s voice comes out of nowhere and you’ve finally focused your gaze to realise that you were blankly staring at his lips 😐

HE CHUCKLES AND🧍‍♀️..…🧎‍♀️…..🐕 HMNNGH 🥵✝️✝️ YKNOW THE LOW CHUCKLE HE MAKES ❓❓ yeah . the sound that shakes everyones hearts 😫🥰‼️ AND brings their knees to the ground 😮‍💨🙏🏼 mmm

he pauses the head pats for a moment before observing your very obvious heated face. “there’s no need to be shy, y/n, aren’t we a couple? you can ask for kisses whenever you like.” he smiles innocently but his voice is laced with cheekiness.

zhongli has to help sit you down after that interaction. you tell him your legs suddenly felt weak but—oh, hey, is that steam flying out of your ears? you also seem to be sensitive to his touches now ☺️☺️☺️

childe

he wonders what you were doing, leaning your head like that when he was trying to put an arm around your shoulders. it only hits him after you try changing the topic. “baby, do you like head pats? luckily for you, i’m a natural 😝 my siblings love getting head pats from me too ☺️”

he’s such a family man my god let me have your children ple you can only nod your head at him 🙂🙂 but you didn’t think childe would be so ecstatic about head pats like why is he the one literally vibrating in excitement right now 🧍‍♀️

“uh… you wanna pat my head now then?” you offer and childe happily agrees with stars in his eyes 🤕🤧

and my god 🛐🛐 sure he pats his siblings heads but you weren’t expecting him to be so good at this 😐 like you’re literally on the verge of falling asleep now, eyelids heavy and your body is leaning on him now. he’s just so comfortable to sleep on 😌 great for those with horrendous sleeping schedules

“my little darling you are the cutest.” childe cups your face all of a sudden and now your face is way too close to his so you try to pull away but he doesn’t let you ☺️ because why would he when he could watch the gears in your head turn, rendering you speechless 😌🙏🏼

“if it cheers you up then i’ll be happy to give you head pats anytime!” PLEASE HE’S SO GRRRRRR 😖😖🥰

“oh i’m sorry were you expecting—” you stop him from saying a word because now you’re experiencing embarrassment from that 😰🥶 you apologise immediately, you knew he was just trying to give you a friendly pat on the shoulder but for some reason your head thought of something else 😓

he’s a human golden retriever. he obviously doesn’t give a damn, its totally fine 😌 things like that happen. he’s so understanding about it too ☹️☹️ he makes sure you don’t think about it too much with his conversational skills and BOYYY does it work like a charm ✋😵‍💫

but he thinks about it after a while and. well. now he wants to try it out. so after showering you in compliments and heartfelt words towards your passions and career, he takes the chance to casually pat your head 😁😁 COLLECT YOUR REWARDS BABY

you freeze🧍‍♀️like immediately🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️because 1) you got what you wanted 😋😛‼️ and 2) how the fuck did he do that so naturally 🧐❓❓you didn’t even feel the lingering embarrassment from what happened earlier too.

thoma giggles cheekily to himself when you avoid his eyes. he really doesn’t want to tease you any further but he just can’t help it ‼️‼️ look at your poor face, you barely have the dignity to look at him anymore 😣😓🆘

so he sighs, taking your hand so he was making you pat his head instead you sat there like. huh 😧 what is even happening anymore 🤔😳 but hey 😉‼️ at least you’re looking at him now 😚‼️‼️

he knew on the SPOT what you thought he was gonna give you and you’re embarrassed by it while he tells you theres no need to shy away 😌‼️ even he likes head pats 😆‼️‼️especially if you scratch behind his ears while doing so.

like if anybody knows how to give head pats then its gotta come from the dog itself. well. half dog. but same thing technically 😋🕶🤏 and hes actually pretty shy about it too ☹️💟💟

you’d think he’s one to receive head pats a lot but really he doesn’t want anyone knowing its his weakness because they could surely get away with almost anything if they scratched that one spot behind his ears. so he doesn’t tell you about his weakness to head pats BUT he did want to know if you enjoyed them too.

“i’m sorry, i thought you—” he cuts you off, tail wagging curiously behind him as his hand moves towards your head, petting it and caressing the back of your head. your breath hitches, like immediately, all your coherent thoughts thrown out the window 🪟🧠⛹️‍♀️💨

“do you like head pats too? i, for one, sure do.” gorou says cheerfully while you’re experiencing an internal crisis because you didn’t think you’d make it this far and now that you’ve achieved your goal your next reaction is delayed.

“uh… hm… yeah r- right there, that’s nice,” you mumble under your breath, fighting the urge to close your eyes and lean into his touch 🤕💢💢 (to which you will fail at trying)

gorou grins, watching you slowly but surely give into the pleasure of his head pats, schooching himself closer to you so you could lean on him as he did 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨🥰
