Sorry if this has been asked before, but what's your process for selecting songs to create polls for? I have an extremely wide music interest range, but I feel like even I would have massive blindspots for a lot of stuff, just because of the sheer amount of music that's available, difficulties with search engines, and the user-reinforcing nature of algorithms on most sites.

So far, I'm extremely impressed. One particularly-niche artist I love has appeared on here before, which absolutely made my day. If there's a random-selection tool you're using, perhaps selecting from a massive, community-built database of song listings, then I'd be very interested in knowing about it. If not, then once again I'm really impressed by the range you've been finding so far, just based on genres alone.

asfkjfdhr i just really love music? :'D it's my autistic trait, I think.

I have siblings who are up to 20 years older than me so I grew up with their music as well as my parents' music while the other kids my age had never listened to that stuff but i made them, i got to listen to music from "the other side of the world" through foreign family members, I was pretty much glued to MTV, and Eurovision can be quite a good source as well. And then there's the movie soundtracks....!!!! and there were a few anime years as well with all that music, too. It all have been a great way to expand the interest range without even being aware of it, i think? There have been some fantastic new discoveries to me amongst the submitted songs but i've also been lazy and chosen submissions that's already been in my mp3 collection. I am slow with working my way through the submitted songs but there's gonna be more of them, I promise!

idk i just thought this whole music hoarding thing was normal when growing up and then I realized it wasn't and I guess I've finally found a use for it now lmao 😂

The process of picking songs pretty much goes like "I love this one! And this! I don't love this but it's cool and different so in it goes! But I love this! And this! And thi- no wait that is too similar, I'll hold it for a while. And this! Oh and a submitted one! And this!"

That said there's only one song i've actively searched out and it was by googling "2024 number one" for something brand new from this year.

So I've been rereading skip beat from the beginning for the first time in uhhhhh almost 10 years and I'm going inSaNE over characterizations and development that I have to write it down

At this point I'm only at the Heel siblings arc so I haven't gotten to the Guam or Saena arcs which are very big for Kyoko and Ren's character development and healing which I haven't reread since those chapters came out

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Nakamura for basing Kyoko and Ren's childhood struggles and trauma on very real things that aren't often, if at all, dealt with in anime/manga and also writing them with utmost care (Not only do the traumas inform their personalities, but their healing arcs aren't just a one and done thing!! It's a very slow process) Like starting with Kyoko, her single mother neglected her so much that she was raised by a family friend. On top of that, nothing Kyoko did was ever good enough for her mother, and both of these things are so apparent in Kyoko's character. She attaches herself to fairytales and magic as an escapism and because she relates to stories like Cinderella. She literally cannot function if she messes up and no one criticizes her. She can't properly acknowledge her own talents and beauty without it being attached somehow to fairytales; she never quite believes shes good enough. Similarly, she didn't want to bother anyone with her troubles, so she always dealt with them alone/in private spaces. Pretty sure she also has lowkey abandonment issues. And this is all parental trauma!! Things she already has before the series starts and she gets so utterly heartbroken she swears off romantic love entirely so she can never get hurt the same way again.

(I don't think I'll ever get over how Kyoko told all this to Kuu and he was literally like I'm adopting you. Your mine now. Sorry I don't make the rules ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And Kuu going home to his wife like hey we got a new kid 😂 Like Kyoko freezing up when she made mistakes and then Kuu showing her love instead of reprimanding her makes me go 🥹😩💖✨😭💝 Kyoko getting all fluffy from head pats🥹🥹 But on the downside she literally can't bring herself to call him dad unless she's in acting mode sjdfhsf)

When I really consider it, I wonder if Kyoko really loved Sho as a person or like.... the idea of him. Like he was just a convenient guy via proximity bc Kyoko needed someone to be her "prince". We haven't been shown exactly why she fell in love, but it would explain why she stuck with dedicating herself to him despite his terrible personality and knowing he never saw her the same way. It's portrayed like the concept of hatsukoi in anime where its ✨pure✨and innocent✨It seems very idealistic. Whereas Kyoko's love for Ren is more mature. She sees every aspect of Ren and doesn't sugarcoat it, she sees him as he is (she does him up on a pedestal but partially bc she admires him but also as an extreme measure to protect her heart and hide her feelings imo)

And REN. trauma to the max. He had to deal with the hardships of making a name for himself when his parents are already famous, extreme racism from being biracial, his friend/mentor dying from an accident he unintentionally caused???? Like boy hates himself so much he's literally disassociating 24/7 he needs a fucking therapist. I get how being Ren has helped him in some capacity but he needs a professional asap. Though deep diving into this is so interesting because Ren/Kuon compartmentalized his issues and the parts that he hates about himself so much he created its own persona ("Dark Kuon"), to the point he's rarely ever just himself. And he buried it so deep that as soon as he cracked the lid open, those emotions just spilled out. He can't even allow himself to be happy, and when he does feel truly happy, his automatic response is acting nonchalant,,,,,,,,,,,, he didn't even realize he was doing it at first 😢

Also the symbolism with Ren's watch makes me go a little feral. I don't remember if it's originally his or Rick's but it obviously stopped when the latter died and Ren keeps it as a reminder of what happened and why he went to Japan. It's a weird item since it grounds him but also represents his heavy trauma, and I think having those two things in one kinda showcases Ren's unhealthy coping mechanisms (like grounding himself to something traumatic isn't... great...). But that scene where he realizes he took it off and he has a moment of whether it to keep it on as Cain Heel or not??? *clenches fist* it was so good. (To recap it, he had his watch so he wouldn't lose himself in the role of BJ and then forgot it in the bathroom after an unexpected trauma response) Ren narrates his thoughts as choosing between Rick or Kyoko but interpreting this, he's choosing whether to keep himself stuck in his past trauma or move forward and let himself be happy AKA stick with unhealthy coping mechanisms vs try something healthy and rely on people he trusts. Kyoko essentially becomes someone Ren grounds himself to 🥺 He still needs therapy though lmao. He's so mentally unstable in this arc,,,

As I'm writing this I'm seeing a parallel between Kyoko and Ren and how they both had an experience that completely and utterly broke them, and it was this that pushed them onto their current paths in showbiz. And they likely would never have met each other again if those things never happened (they had to lose themselves to find each other?? 😭). It's so funny to me that Ren is all like ThEiR fAtEs ArE iNtErTwInEd with Kyoko and Sho when you have to consider the fact that him and Kyoko meeting again was like. a chance in a billion. It was fate 😂

KyoRen is such a poetic ship to me. The fact that they're different people when they meet and don't recognize the other. How Ren starts falling in love AS SOON AS HE REALIZES KYOKO IS THE SAME GIRL HE MET (Ren being gray/demiromantic.... more at 5). Kyoko lowkey starting to crush on Ren when she witnesses a bit of his real personality. These two things happening around the same time??????? And Kyoko being surrounded by toxic and possessive men pursuing her, and Ren being anything BUT. Like my man is a gigantic green flag. He recognizes that he can't seriously pursue Kyoko bc she's a minor and he really tries his best to only be a friend and mentor in her life and keeping her trust and never crossing her boundaries despite the stereotypes of men being "unable to control themselves." I have to talk about Sho bc this boy is so fucking toxic but he makes such a fascinating character. As much as I hate how Kyoko got heartbroken in the way she did, I think it was necessary so that she could leave Sho's sorry ass and cut him out of her life. Seriously,,,, he took advantage of her and used her as a servant. she literally dropped out of school, moved to a different city, and took on two jobs for the sole purpose of helping his career and then he threw her away like a used rag (JUST THROW THE WHOLE MAN AWAY). And then he has the audacity to fall in love with her smh. Anyway the fascinating part about him to analyze is how he's so possessive of Kyoko. Like she was a mere fly in his life, but she was always his. Until she wasn't. And I think those twisted thoughts kinda morphed into feelings for Kyoko. Ig in a way he still cares about her, but it could never hide how toxic he is. Anyone who's like I don't care how this person thinks of me as long as I take up the biggest space in their heart is egotistical and narcissistic. BUT he and Kyoko bickering like siblings will always be funny. Like epitome of two people who've lived with each other for way too long so they know how the other ticks and also get on each other's nerves 😂😂Sho does makes a good foil for Ren though. Like he's basically everything Ren is not: immature, temperamental, possessive, vain, the list goes on. His only redeeming qualities as a character is providing good drama and humor and being an example of what Ren isn't.

Skip Beat is really a story about healing and learning to love yourself and letting others love you and Nakamura is such a good story teller 🥺

Fatui soldiers being the best wingmen for their boss. + If we think about it there's probably a book in Tevyat related to couples communication/advice 101, the soliders probably tell him that it might be more helpful than them (they're not sure how much longer they can last in this conversation) Capitano ends up purchasing multiple and now he reads them alone in his office and internally he thinks "damn couples actually do this? i messed up 😭 they hate me now 😭"

That poor soldier, being in the Captain's presence is already hard enough but having him standing in front of you, staring into the depths of your soul without a word?? They're not sleeping tonight. And now the soldiers have an amazing story to tell around the campfire at least, the time the 1st Harbinger demonstrated his ways of affection in front of them.

And he just keeps staring until one of the soldiers has the courage to interrupt and ask him if that's really how he shows affection and Capitano just... nods like it's normal. And now Capitano is not an idiot because he can still clearly see how his soldiers are scratching their heads awkwardly and sending each other strange looks, and he immediately knows that this was not a good demonstration in the slightest. He would just clear his throat and be like "ahem. apologies for wasting your time. back to training." And then the soldiers would honestly feel bad and throw him a little advice like "sir, maybe you should gift them something nice to show your appreciation for them." 🥺 "or perhaps lord capitano, maybe a letter would be nice!"

Though these good ideas he's still a bit lost, because 1. he doesn't know what you like very well, and he doesn't want to accidentally gift you something bad. But then he realizes he can just ask the attendants! Yes, this is going good. As for the letter... he wonders what he should ask you. Are you doing well? Normally these are questions you ask someone in person, especially since you two live in the same house... but you seem to be a bit on edge while he's around. Maybe writing it down will be easier for you too! Hopefully you'll respond.

Well, I was right after I spent like half the novel convinced the author was actually Dokja. At least I wasn't alone in thinking that, considering Sooyoung thought so too. 😂

Though I do love that it's not at all how I thought it was. I figured she was the author and just forgot because she lost half her memories to her avatar and just assumed that Dokja wrote it because that was the most logical option that her Predictive Plagiarism could come up with.

Was not expecting all this wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff, though I guess I should have by the time I reached the end of the novel and all sorts of things in the beginning were being affected by the ending. Time travel. Dimension travel. Just full of paradoxes.

I loooooove though that the novel is "trash" because she has to speed write it as fast as possible based on vague memories while using Predictive Plagiarism (...plagiarizing herself...) because she only has a limited time with her own body and also because she needs to keep Dokja engaged, needs to pump out chapters as fast as humanly possible to give him his reason to live until the next day.

And I love that the reason it only has one view is because she doesn't bother to read it, not even to typo check. She already knows it has a reader. A paradox it may be, I love that the novel truly was written for Dokja and not just after the first hundred or so chapters when all the other readers fell off. Nope, it was written for him and him alone from the very beginning. Sooyoung already knows that she doesn't have to make it good, she just has to make it, and that in turn will save him, even if it dooms millions of others.

Oh man, Sooyoung seeing him in the hospital after he tried to jump out of a window and wondering where the heck tls123 is, why haven't they started posting yet, they need to hurry up and save this unbelievably precious idiot. 😭💖

Sooyoung of all people having to wrestle with the knowledge that if she saves one person, she will kill billions (perhaps trillions) of other people across multiple worldlines.

Well, actually, perhaps it's fitting that it is Sooyoung of all people because I don't know how many others in Dokja's party who would doom this entire universe of parallel worlds to save a single person, even if that single person is Dokja himself.

Like, it parallels pretty well with what's going on with Sooyoung's other half...she's the weird one in the group who wants to go save the Dokja they left on the train while even Dokja's incarnation is worried that they're going to cause a lot of harm in the process and open up another worldline of tragedy, which they all know Dokja would not want.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Han Sooyoung is perhaps one of the few people selfish enough to save Kim Dokja at the cost of the entire universe and it's so interesting to think back on the fact that she literally tried to get Joonghyuk to kill him way back in the earliest chapters and now she's using Joonghyuk to save him.

He gives them pats and scratches and rubs and pets all the time. And you come home finding them all snuggled up being all cute so of course you have to take a photo of it!

I also see him being able to just sort of have them as his support. Like he can talk to them, play with them, snuggle with them. Whenever he's sad or lonely. Or just wants to distract himself from his thoughts or work. Especially when you're not there. They give him something to focus on.

Anyways!! I really just have the plot for it 😂 basic rundown is Bruce finds out about the league bases and gets into a huge argument with Tim which results in the outlaws taking him in during the fallout. JayRoy have been hooking up but they don't know how to address the whole having feelings for each other thing because they both think it's one-sided. Then, of course, Tim comes in and throws a wrench into everything because he starts hooking up with Roy, and then if I say anything else we're wandering into spoilery territory!

I actually haven't written anything for that pairing yet/at all BUT my girlfriend has been begging for it (literally even was like 'you can give it to me as a birthday or a hannukah gift!! 😂) BUT I have written fics with Roy in them! I'm starting to get more comfortable writing him now.

Here's what he's in!

Roy is in Rooftops & Bookshops, but not very much. He's pretty much only in a short scene in chapters 9 and 12 each, other than a few background mentions along the way.

He's also in Pieces of Me (Pieces of You), and he's in two of the three chapters and plays a significant role in the plot

He's in Non-Refundable Plans, but he really only has a few lines (it's a one shot anyways), this is the one he's in the least by far

BUT he is in Know Yourself a significant amount! Every chapter, plenty of lines, scenes alone with Jason, scenes alone with Tim! This fic is ongoing but is NOT abandoned!! I'm struggling with it a bit right now but I am actively working on it. If you want to see how I write Roy or want to read something I wrote that has Roy in it, this is definitely my top recommendation for that!

I honestly really enjoyed all of the romance options, except for Keri's (the reporter) and not for any fault of hers but I disliked how she looks kinda uncomfortable with either Ryder flirting with her while she's just trying to do her job. I felt like a real creep, I have to say! 😩Then at the end, after I've annoyed this poor Asari at her workplace this entire time, the "payoff" was we went from a table at the Vortex to Ryder's just suddenly outside of her room? Not even a kiss? 🫤(I legit have headcanoned that Keri never actually let Ryder into her room, just went in herself, closed the door, and left them out in the hall, lol! "That's for continuing to come on to me and never taking the hint while I'm clearly just doing my job, you creep!" 😖😂😉)

If I could've romanced Evfra *points up at his pic above* I totally would have because I'm a sucker for a good "enemies to lovers" trope, lol! And I think Evfra would haaaaate himself for falling for the human Pathfinder. 😍😍😍

Lololol, I love how Céline like... freezes whenever she sees a co-worker presenting unusually. Be it Adam without a beard or Morgane in fancy clothes, it never ceases to amuse me 😅 But yea, Céliane vibes all the way 🤗

Also let's not forget how Adam's eyes were falling out of their sockets when he saw Morgane climbing off the car (in his defense, she does look amazing in his clothes lol), so it's very likely that he really enjoyed that she came to the date in her "bourge coinços V2" outfit, this man probably has a kink and now I can't stop imagining the kind of roleplay they'd be into if they were a couple 🙈

The date was SO fun!!!! I've said this before, but a few months ago I had this idea of a disastrous date fic about them, and I just LOVE that the show went this way, it was just SO them, the out-of-sync-ness, le malaise absolu, "et sinon vous êtes allée au cinéma ?", "Ninja Warrior, c'est japonais ?", somebody puts them out of their misery already 😅😅😅, the fact that they only get their chemistry back as soon as they talk shop... Ranir awkwardly standing in front of the table after bringing the wine (btw, "Ranir, le Languedoc s'il te plaît", is it me or did they imply that Adam knows all of Ranir's wines list? This man takes ONE glass of wine at a housewarming and now he's a patented alcoholic I'm losing my mind here) was HILARIOUS, as was Morgane cheering with him out of despair 😆 Also I can't help thinking that Ranir has seen Adam bring all his dates here, he must bet with himself on how many times he'll see this one again, c'est sa télénovela à lui lol!

And I'm with you on the contrast between the deep connection they share, but also their absolute incompatibility regarding mundane things, that's the kind of stuff we want in this house!! 🥹🥹 The décryptage argument was a great moment too, especially when lit up with Morgane's bad faith (but also Adam's inability to call a date a date lol), ambulant disasters 😅

But also. I love SO MUCH that he tries again. He asked her out on a date, it was a complete mess and it would be easy to give up, but he doesn't. And he asks her out again because he believes in them while I turn into a puddle of goo 🫠🫠

Finally finally, Morgane knocking at Adam's door... 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Gah indeed! Bonus point for the implication that Adam listens to love songs while eating dinner alone 🤣 but the simple fact that she comes to him. And he lets her in without even protesting. And he SEES THAT SHE CRIED AND HE WON'T TAKE HER BULLSHIT ABOUT THE RAIN AND SHE'LL QUIETLY ADMIT IT AH BAH OUAIS EN FAIT IL PLEUT PAS -> we were THIS CLOSE to Morgane openly admitting to him that she cried and ugh, my heart 😭❤️

And then cue the case-solving where Adam BLATANTLY is only thinking about kissing Morgane, and they work her way (🥹) and end up in a post-orgasmic haze (it's been two episodes in a row where the final resolution sounds like they're having/just had sex, just saying) where he ASKS HER OUT AGAIN BE STILL MY BEATING HEART ⚰️⚰️

All of this was such a great scene altogether and I agree with you, we need more of this gut-wrenching angst of Morgane taking bad decisions not to be a burden and actually making things worse 😈 Something tells me 308 will deliver in that regard...😏

I honestly can't wish you a happy finale-watch for reasons that I've mentioned too many times already, but when the time comes I'll be happy to hear your thought if you have any. Stay strong, and see you on the other side anon 😘🫂

She posted something spicy, and while I haven't gotten to this part in my 6x17 smut (fr, I'm 4.5k words in and they're only making out, it's gonna be so long 😂) here's a part of their convo I wrote literally last night (also, I am not good at smut, I'm new to this, only wrote one so far, and I need validation and motivation to continue this one lmao)

“I mean, if you don’t want to-” Eddie starts pulling away, very slowly, and letting his hand ghost over Buck’s dick, when his body moves back. Such a tease.

“Of course I want to.” both of Buck’s hands catch Eddie’s hips before he completely slides off his lap, and he struggles to catch a breath. He cannot believe how quickly Eddie just riled him up by almost nothing. “Fucking hell, I want to so bad.” he says, looking into Eddie’s eyes, that sparkle mischievously. “But Christopher-”

“He’s asleep.” Eddie’s fingers run through Buck’s hair, and he looks at Buck so fondly, he almost wants to close his eyes to avoid it, too overwhelmed by all kinds of emotions in Eddie’s eyes. “If we’re very quiet, we’ll be fine. I want you so bad, too, and I don’t want to wait anymore, unless you do.” he licks his lips, and then smirks when Buck immediately shakes his head. “But we probably should take it to the bedroom, just in case.”

“You sure?” Buck asks, despite a very persistent part of his brain telling him to shut up and take everything Eddie’s offering right now. Because that’s all of Buck’s wet dreams come true, and he just- he’s weak when it comes to Eddie, he can’t resist long, and he doesn’t want to resist. “I don’t wanna accidentally scar him.” he chuckles, but he’s mostly serious.

“Then try to be quiet. At least this time.” Eddie’s still smirking, and Buck’s heart beats faster, because there’s gonna be another time. It’s not just a one-time thing for Eddie. Buck thought so, but getting a confirmation is always nice. “Besides,” Eddie leans in again, starting to leave feather-light kisses along Buck’s neck, and Buck sighs contentedly, “it’s gonna be good practice.”

“For what?” his breath hitches when Eddie bites lightly.

“For next time. And the next, and the one after that. And so many other times, when we can’t be home alone.” he says it all with such conviction in his voice, and it hits Buck that this is really happening. Eddie wants him. And not just now, or just for sex. Eddie wants him to stick around, for who knows how long. Hopefully forever. Eddie wants him.

Good Monday morning, clown friends and friends of clowns!

I meant to do some research and discuss Italian breeds and lineages but that will have to be later this week. Last week was a Rollercoaster! Nothing terrible happened, just a lot of things happened very quickly. Everything is more or less in order or unfolding how it will be. So all is well and I can get back to what really matters-- thinking about clowns!

I have a few things to share to just make up some time and in lieu of a proper pinned post- working on it! 🤡😂

Clown Artist Masterlist, When?

So far five people have reblogged as an artist interested in being on the masterlist. I will make the post either when ten reply, or next week. I don't want to keep these tabs open forever. I think either my account is too new to get the reach needed to find clown artists or there just aren't a lot on tumblr. Either way, we'll get a nice bunch together so don't worry. Introducing Bonbon

I have a new friend for the troupe! This is Bonbon. I think they're mostly circus breed, probably primarily whiteface. Whatever they are, their quite a lot sturdier built and have a bigger appetite than the other three in this group! They're also quite eager to work as uou can see. They went straight to picking up all the pens and keep themself quite busy figuring out which is my favorite and handing it to me as soon as I reach for it. What a good little friend! 😭💖🤡

What the Hecc is this Account?

This is my only tumblr. I made it like a while ago but never used it so I apologize if I make mistakes. I'm super not used to this platform yet! I am however extremely familiar with formal blog writing as I did that for an agency for a year. I quite like writing blogs, and this account is a way for me to break my writer's block by talking about some of my favorite things; namely clowns, collecting clown figures and art, and living chill.

Mental Health Blogging and Outreach

Living chill is my entire vibe. The world and most of social media is really fast paced. It can seem like you're alone even in a massive crowd. But you're not alone! It just seems that way because everyone is confused and busy. It's really hard to wake up and see the state of other people when you're in the middle of comprehending your own state.

If you can remember that then it's less about people not seeing you and more about being the person that sees yourself and others and makes the first move to help someone else slow down and see themself. So that's what this space is. A chill and positive space to be creative and wind down from the chaos of fast paced modern living. Feel free to comment, reblog, and message me anytime. I am a no judgement safe space to work on getting better.

what do you do when you get stuck writing? (from this ask game) Rubber Ducky Sometimes I just complain and talk about whatever the issue is and it works itself out while I'm talking. I think that's the rubber ducky method, which is why I've got a bazillion little plushies around so I can snag one and talk to it when I don't want to bother people. Switch WIP's. Once upon a time I tried to complete fanfics before starting a new one, but that was fine back when I wrote one fic for a fandom and then peaced out. Now I write a lot and want to write more so I juggle them around when i get stuck or realize I need to do a lot more research (cough the Johnny/Tommy fic cough) Sometimes by the time I recrack open the fic it's a lot easier. But it helps if I left myself notes. Skipping around using brackets So there's this idea that you should use the things you put off using, eat the things you want to eat and stop saving things for special moments. Which I suck at. I say this with a bright pink jackolantern on my desk full of treats I've squirreled away that I'm saving for a moment to try them or as a notebook hoarder.

But I've gotten better about this with writing. If there's a scene I really want to write I'll put brackets for whatever I need to come back and do so that I don't forget it, though sometimes I do this when I'm super tired and don't want to forget my ideas [Johnny and Daniel drive to Jersey and Johnny learns what a pain in the ass driving in winter is and Daniel is full of himself about it but also forgets he's not used to driving in a city/let alone on ice anymore and they safely crash into a snow drift] I dunno, something like that and then skip to whatever happened next that I wanted to write. It kind of helps and it seems like it wouldn't be easier to go back and fill in those gaps, but sometimes it is. And sometimes when I think there aren't any it's a pain because I thought it was done and it wasn't 😂 Do something else [shower] 🚿

Sometimes you gotta do something else physically and let your brain wander. I cross-stitch and embroider sometimes and I'll do this repetitive thing that requires me to physically be doing something and sometimes it'll jog something in the fic I got stuck with. Another good one is generally taking a walk but I'm like so bad at that, I'm not good with just wandering around without purpose 😅 I want to go somewhere and look at something or have someone to talk to so it doesn't quite work for me, but doing the dishes or cleaning or cooking or my tried and true method, taking a shower generally does it. I shower probably way too much that it's now like part of my daily routine like having a cup of coffee in the morning, taking a shower before bed lets me relax and also figure out whatever was stuck. Go go go pomodoro! 🍅 Sometimes people work really well under pressure and I...oh sometimes I work really well under pressure. 😂💀 So a pomodoro is a little tomato kitchen timer, and essentially you time yourself. You can pick the length and you just focus completely on that one task until your time is up. Like here: https://pomofocus.io/ is a timer that focus's on this task. It generally works better if you have someone else doing it with you. So a writer whose interview I watched last year said that every morning she and her friend set their computers down on their kitchen tables, call one another and sync their timers and write. And I find when I do this, the sort of stressors of that timer makes me skip all the stuff I generally worry about. Spelling, grammar, things I'd normally puzzle over that slow down my writing and I just go go go. It also stops me from like diving down rabbit holes for research which I do...frequently. 😂 Sometimes it's also called sprinting. Thank you for the ask! 💖

i agree with every single thing you said about yeong-hu's being, the way he is - or, more precisely, the way we perceive him - plays a huge role in why he's my favourite s2 character and the fact that seok-chan is the only one or among the fewest that can see even a bit of the real yeong-hu... it fills my heart with joy 🥹

i'll patiently wait for the new fic, no pressure! the thought alone that it will exist is enough for me to be overly excited about it!
