You’ve got a good heart. Even when you make mistakes. Even when you try your best and it doesn’t work out. Even when you snap because you are angry and frustrated with the world. Even when you’re annoyed at yourself and others. Even when you’re caught up in an anxious loop. Even when you fall asleep with tears in your eyes. Even when you feel like a burden to everyone. Repaying the kindness
It is true that in this world there are times when we cannot repay those who have helped us. We will nonetheless be regarded as a good-hearted person if we can at least remember their acts of benevolence. If we can find a way to repay their kindness, we must do so. It is quite irrelevant whether our benefactor is more virtuous than we, or is a rascal, or happens to be our equal in virtue. The only requirement for him to qualify as a benefactor is to have helped us in the past.
