It’s been...well, Harry doesn’t actually know how long it’s been. Less than an hour, probably, but already Louis says his name like it’s safe in his mouth, and now he’s opening his arms like Harry could be safe there too.

“Please,” Harry nearly sobs, and sinks into him the way butter melts on toast. It’s an apt metaphor, really, because what Louis is giving him is as essential and sustaining as a loaf of bread to a starving man. His basic need for physical affection is as vital as his need for sustenance, for sleep, and he can’t believe he’s allowed himself to ignore it for so long.

Or: Harry is having a rough time. Louis is the kind stranger who makes him smile again.

Louis is a disaster gay on a skateboard. Harry is a beautiful, quirky stranger on a bicycle. Their first encounter really makes a splash.

Thoughts he previously held tightly to his chest, locked away in his heart along with all his other feelings regarding his best friend.

Well, actually, that’s a lie. He’s doing this because he needs the money, and because he’s curious. And, okay, maybe because he might be a little bit lonely too. He has always had what his mother affectionately calls an “adventurous spirit.” Couple that with being a (tragically single) broke grad student and voila! here he is scrawling his signature on a release form provided by the university’s sociology department. Essentially, he is agreeing to snog a stranger on camera for the sake of science.

Shouldn’t be a problem, right? All he has to do is lock lips with a (hopefully) fit bloke, collect his money, and be on his way. Easy peasy. Little does he know, fate has other plans for him in the form of one adorably quirky art student who goes by the name of Harry Styles.

How Would You Feel (If I Told You I Loved You) (81k)

An AU inspired by the music video for Ed Sheeran's song Perfect featuring two idiots who are too thick to see that their friendship is anything but platonic, lots of pining, too many terms of endearment to count, a wedding, slow dancing, a couple of steamy hot tub moments, karaoke, snow, a healthy dose of cuddling, love confessions, and Harry and Louis being quite generous to each other.

“Louis?” Harry queries softly, his voice nothing more than a whisper. “Why are you living in my car?”

Louis sighs, and this time it’s laced with a mixture of sadness and exhaustion, the sound of it tugging at Harry’s heartstrings. “Long story,” he says finally with a weak smile.

“Will you tell me?” Harry prods gently, his demeanor akin to that of someone approaching a wild animal with their arms outstretched in a gesture of submission. “You don’t have to, like—I mean…it’s just, I’m a pretty good listener, and you seem like maybe you could use a friend?”

“What gave me away?” Louis jokes dryly.

*Or the one where Harry has a broken heart, Louis has a broken home, and all it takes is one night together for them to fall in love.

You got that something, I got me an appetite (5.9k)

After years of being forced to hide their relationship, Harry and Louis decide to come out with a bang.

“Seriously?” Surely, Harry must be joking. Louis arches a skeptical brow and snaps the waistband of Harry’s joggers playfully. “What exactly do you have down there, Styles? I know you’ve got four nipples, d’ya have a couple extra bollocks as well or summat?”

“No!” Harry shrieks, his voice bordering on shrill. “No,” He repeats a little quieter, calmer, “I just—I’m, er, kinda…big, I guess.”

Louis rolls his eyes in fond exasperation. “That’s hardly a problem, curly.”

*Or Harry is insecure about a certain rather large part of his anatomy that is apparently intimidating to the point where it has actually scared off potential shags. When he ends up confessing this to his best friend and roommate, Louis takes it upon himself to prove that Harry’s size doesn't have to be a curse, and decides to help show him just how perfect he is.

Please Be Naked (17k)

Louis starts squirming, desperately needing something to do with his hands. Needing to do anything, really, to distract him from the perfect male specimen standing naked in front of him. In the end, the only thing he can do is strip out of his own jeans and briefs, which he does with trembling, clumsy fingers, his heart beating out a violent, chaotic rhythm in his chest the entire time.

He hears Harry’s sharp intake of breath, and slowly raises his eyes from where he was staring at his own bare feet to meet his gaze.

“So,” Harry says bashfully, his voice gone even deeper somehow. “We’re naked.”

“Yup,” Louis squeaks.

“You okay?”

No!

“Yup,” Louis repeats, sounding just as unstable as he did the first time.

This is the last favor Louis Tomlinson is ever doing for Zayn Malik. (Because, after today, he’ll be dead, but that’s neither here nor there.)

*Or the one where Louis agrees to help out Zayn with one of his art projects and ends up getting much more than he bargained for.

Hey I Heard You Were A Wild One (If I Took You Home It’d Be A Homerun) (12k)

"Are you out?” Louis huffs a long suffering sigh as he studies Harry from the other side of the bar, the neon from the beer signs making his eyes glow an unnatural shade of blue, and causing Harry to question - not for the first time tonight - if he is real or just some fever dream-esque fantasy conjured up by Harry’s alcohol addled brain.

“You’re fucking kidding me right?” Harry laughs incredulously.

Louis is resolute in his posture as he continues to observe Harry, the slight arch of a brow his only acknowledgement of Harry’s question. That’s fine, Harry decides, it was mostly rhetorical anyway.

“A gay cowboy who rides for a living, can you imagine all the Brokeback Mountain jokes I’d have to endure on a daily basis? I don’t really fancy being compared to Jake Gyllenhaal.”

A hint of a smirk tugs at the corners of Louis’ pursed lips. “Now you’re the one who must be joking, because you are so clearly Heath Ledger in that scenario.”

*Or Harry came to the bar to forget. Louis gives him a night to remember.

Your Love Is My Turning Page When Only The Sweetest Words Remain (8.4k)

“Crying already, Styles?” Louis chides him teasingly, unable to contain the smile that’s breaking across his face.

“So what if I am? What are you going to do about it?” Harry sniffs indignantly.

Louis makes a show of pretending to consider this, steepling his fingers in front of his chest and giving Harry a contemplative once-over.

“Marry you.” He decides, smirking at Harry.

“Guess you won’t be able to call me Styles much longer then.” Harry counters, biting down on his own barely-contained grin.

“Guess not.” Louis agrees happily.

Say You Won’t Let Go (5.7k)

Harry hates flying. Louis is the kind stranger who helps him when he gets sick in the airport restroom. The rest, as they say, is history.

"Hello?" His voice came out all high and breathy like an anxious school girl, and he cringed internally at how wrecked he sounded already.

"Lou?"

Harry's voice was the same as ever, deeper than the sea and somehow both gravelly and smooth as silk. Harry was full of infuriating little contradictions like that. It drove Louis crazy. He had spent a good portion of his life questioning if Harry Styles was actually even human; on paper he just didn't make sense. He was an enigma, an anomaly, the exception to every rule.

*After dropping his new single, "Back To You" Louis gets a text from Harry inquiring about the true inspiration for the song.

Low Swings

Characters: Peter Parker x reader (platonic), Tony (briefly)

Warnings: there aren’t really any, just Peter feeling a little down I guess and lots of sarcasm

Word count: 1.6k

Description: When you work with a partner, it’s hard to prevent things from getting competitive. Things are no different in the world of superheroes. It may start as a silly race to see who is the best for the purposes of bragging rights but sometimes, the race can overtake your judgement.

A/N: Hello again! This is for two different challenges (@until-theend-oftheline Kari’s 1k MCU writing challenge and @hollandroos Soph’s 12k writing challenge). Congratulations to you both on the milestones and my prompts are in bold below. Little disclaimer, I wrote a Peter Parker fic a while ago and stole the reader character from that for her powers and personality. You can read it as a prequel, sequel whatever but the two stories are not linked. Enjoy xx Marvel Masterlist

Story:

“I got him!” Y/N speaks seemingly to no one while keeping her eyes locked on the man in the balaclava sprinting below her in the alley. She jumps gracefully from building to building with practiced ease, managing the large gaps like a child hopping across a small puddle. Her movement is reminiscent of a cat leaping from one climbing post to another.

“I thought you said I could get this one! I have to be able to tell Mr Stark I’m doing my job!” Peter whines into her earpiece, swinging from his webs a few blocks away. He was busy chasing down yet another bike thief across town when Karen informed him of a man armed with a gun escaping the scene of a robbery and that Y/N was on her way. No way was he going to let her get the guy first.

“And so do I! I can’t help it that I’m better than you.” She rolls her eyes, not that he can see but he should be used to it by now, before glancing back to see the red and blue clad hero getting closer. Immediately she picks up the pace in response, increasing the strain on her muscles and lungs. The pain she’ll feel tomorrow is worth it though, to get a ‘well done kiddo’ from Stark and rights to rub it in Parker’s smug face until the next time. The conviction tally currently stands 27:26 to Y/N. Not that anyone’s counting or anything like that.

“Please! I’ll do your homework for a week.” He pleads, the thwip of his web shooters audible in the background through the earpiece.

“Sure, cos I want lower grades than I’m currently getting.” Y/N taunts. Spotting a chance to get closer, she leaps down to a rusty fire escape and swiftly descends the ladder. Upon hearing her footsteps clanging on the metal, the criminal’s eyes widen in fear and he speeds up. Somebody wasn’t expecting super heroes to be in the area.

“I’ll buy you a pizza!”

“Tempting but no.”

“I’ll stop calling you Frazzles!”

“No! You’re not having this one!”

“Aw come on Frazzles!” Peter takes a break on top of a satellite tower to watch the chase and plan his next move. Y/N is quickly gaining on the guy despite not having the same enhanced capabilities as Peter (such as his stamina and speed) and she hasn’t even had to zap him yet with one of her self-produced lasers- show off! Amazingly, this thief is still going after running from the scene of the robbery nearly twenty minutes ago (most people get tired after five or make a mistake with a wrong turn that lands them in the arms of the police or a sticky web). Perhaps they’re one of the various people with powers emerging across the city.

Peter spies an opportunity coming up ahead on the next turn to land him the capture and immediately swings in it’s direction. Y/N notices his change of course straight away in her peripheral vision.

“Spidey, what are you doing?” she asks, mentally kicking herself for not being suspicious of the radio silence. Silence often- scratch that- always means he’s up to something.

“My job!” He grunts with the effort, swinging feet first into Y/N and knocking her flying sideways. She lands inside an open locker unceremoniously on her ass with a crash. Only Peter misjudged the strength needed to sabotage his partner and flies in after her, landing on top of her in fact, with the metal door hinges whining shut. The lock clicks, trapping them inside.

“Ah my ankle!” He hisses into the pitch black.

“Oh boo hoo! At least you didn’t have a 200 pound spider kick you in the chest and land on top of you!” Y/N huffs aggressively, smacking him over the head to get him to move.

“I can’t see.”

“Great detective work genius! Hang on…” Y/N scowls, producing light from her hands as easy and taking a breath. The locker is very small leaving little to no room for personal space and it stinks like an unattended public toilet.

“Mr Stark is not gonna be happy with us…”

“Us? I’m sorry, how did we end up locked in here? Oh that’s right; you attacked me!”

“I was just trying to get you out of the way so I could get the guy first. I didn’t think-”

“Yeah, you didn’t think. You didn’t focus on the mission, you focused on beating me. Not everything is a contest Parker.” Y/N’s voice softens. She looks to Peter noticing his downtrodden attitude.

“I just… I really want to impress Mr Stark. If I do really well, he might actually make me an Avenger for real.”

“Peter…” she starts, feeling guilty for snapping at him earlier.

Peter always says he wants to be an Avenger, ever since he came back from Germany, it’s a constant thing. Y/N was offered the chance to go as well but she was so close to busting a drug ring in the city that she had to turn it down (she also didn’t want to join in the fight for Tony’s sake since she actually sided with Steve). Once they returned home, Stark introduced her to Peter as someone to work with but also as someone to keep a close eye on. Things soon inevitably became competitive between the pair.

“Okay, I can’t believe I’m about to say this… you can get the next one.” Peter’s head perks up from where it was rested in his hands.

“Wait really?”

“Really. Now let’s get out of here.” Y/N turns to face the door again. She takes a deep breath, focusing her energy on her outstretched palm and feeling the warmth concentrating in the center. The soft light becomes a streamlined beam and slices through the metal door like a hot knife through butter. Her line is shaky but eventually she cuts out a small doorway allowing herself and Peter to escape their dank prison.

Avoiding the burning white melted metal, the duo step out into the alley again, the criminal they were chasing nowhere to be seen. Typical- they never stick around for their local crime fighters and wait to be caught. The only life in the shady corner is a stray black and white kitten.

“Where do you think he went?” Peter asks, scanning the nearby area for heat signatures with the help of his suit.

“I dunno! I’ll interrogate the cat.” Y/N kneels down and coaxes the kitty over by clicking her tongue, stroking it’s fluffy fur gingerly with her outstretched hand, “Hey buddy, are you lost? Can we help you find your home?”

“It’s a stray Frazzles. Keep stroking it and it’ll follow us home.” Peter rolls his eyes behind his mask.

“Do you need a home? You can come with me if you want.” She smiles as the kitten purrs in her hand, her voice becoming increasingly more babyish.

“Y/N! Let’s go!”

“Hold on!” She scoops up the ball of fur, “Consider this mission a success, we saved Catasha Meowmanoff from a life on the streets.”

“Your mom isn’t going to let you keep it ya know?”

“That’s why she’s not going to find out. And you’re not going to tell her!” Y/N warns Peter, a threatening tone detectable in her voice as she lowers the kitten to the floor. She prowls around the bedroom floor and sniffs the hanging bed sheets with uncertainty, tiny claws catching on the soft carpet. A flash of red catches her eye and she pounces on it, swatting at the light with her little paws in the hopes of capturing it. The said light originates from Peter’s suit and he grins like a child as Catasha almost climbs the wall to get at the laser.

“Ok, I’ll admit she’s pretty cute.”

“See!” Y/N grins victorious, ”… But it goes without saying, no one is to find out about the name. Especially Natasha. I’d like to keep my head attached to my shoulders.” Y/N absentmindedly rubs her hand over the back of her head, right over the spot when Nat last swatted her with a magazine (she set Nat’s ringtone to ‘Black Widow’ by Rita Ora and the world class assassin heard it go off when they both happened to be at the compound at the same time).

“I think she’d probably kill me too so yeah, deal.” Peter scratches Catasha behind her ears, knowing very well of Natasha’s capabilities. But, as much as he would love to play with a ball of fur, there are people to save and crimes to stop so he has to leave. Mask on, Peter steps out onto the fire escape outside Y/N’s bedroom window just as he gets an incoming call alert for Tony Stark.

“Peter! I trust you and Sunshine are playing nicely. I have a new job for you two, organised gang fights in condemned buildings near you. You are still interested in helping out the ‘neighborhood’ as a ‘friendly’ crime fighter, right?” He can tell there were some air quotes made on Tony’s end of the line.

“Yeah yeah y-yeah I’m-I- we’ll get on it right away Mr Stark, sir.”

“Mrrow!”

“What was that?”

“A cat. Stray cat. Not a house cat, a stray cat. Stray, not a pet.” Peter fumbles with his words while Y/N glares at him with eyes begging him to shut up.

“Right… keep up the good work kid.” Tony hangs up; he’s a busy man after all. Looking to Y/N through the mask, his white spider eyes widen.

“We’ve got another job to do.”

Legacy Deck Tech: Painter’s Masterpiece

Hello & welcome to this weekly deck tech! This week it’s time to talk about some Legacy & I thought I’d bring something very special to the table. I was looking at all the Masterpiece series, Expeditions & Invocations to see if you could actually make a deck with them; turns out you can! There’s this deck called Painter’s Servant in Legacy which is pretty fringe and most deck lists vary a lot depending on the user, but all of the key cards have been printed as those special series so it’s entirely possible to make a deck with them. Now, a regular version of this deck is probably around 2000$, mostly since you need some dual lands, but this Masterpiece deck is...a bit more expensive...

So yeah, BY NO MEANS do I recommend you guys to buy this deck, please don’t hold me responsible if you decide to spend 12k on a deck...Though I know there are some people out there collecting Masterpiece series cards, so by all means if you already have those cards lying around like some sort of rich aristocrat, please try out this deck since it’s really really fun. Let’s get right to it.

Name of the Deck

This card lends it’s name to the deck because it’s your main win condition. The goal of the deck is to play Painter’s Servant and hopefully win on the same turn. We’ll see how in a second, but basically this card turns EVERY card the colour of your choice, including lands, cards in libraries, graveyards, hands, stack, you name it! The colour you’ll choose won’t matter, I personally like naming Green, but that’s entirely up to you!

How to Win

And this is how the deck wins. It’s really simple, you play the Painter’s Servant, name a colour and with Grindstone you target your opponent once and they’ll mill their entire deck out since the cards will always share a colour! The only card that completely shuts down your deck is Emrakul...so if you end up playing against a Show & Tell deck you’ve probably already lost...Other than that the deck has some really good match-ups all around though!

Explosive Start

The deck is a combo deck, and because of that the plan is to go off as fast as you possibly can. For that you NEED mana rocks, so I’d recommend going with full playsets of Lotus Petal, Mox Opal & Chrome Mox. With enough of those cheap rocks you can potentially win on turn 1 (though it requires you a perfect hand and for your opponent to not have a Force of Will...) but it’s realistic to win on turn 3 fairly easily.

Protecting Your Combo

As any combo deck should, you need to have some ways of protecting your stuff. The go-to cards are Force of Will & Daze, you need to play both of them to really make sure you can do your stuff without any problems. Plus, having those cards really help you fend off other combo decks that would otherwise be a problem for you.

Say “No” to Counters

Another great way to protect your combo is to prevent your opponent from playing anything on your turn! Honestly I think Defense Grid is really underrated in Legacy, since it completely prevents your opponent from using Force of Will which is one of the most played card of the format, and it also forces them to play everything at sorcery speed, including Brainstorm, another one of the most played cards of the format. Just be careful, if you play this against another combo deck you just shot yourself in the foot...

Legacy All-Star

I’ve said this a lot over the past decade or so, Chalice of the Void is one of the best magic cards ever printed, and it’s even more true in Legacy. Most decks will play cards of CMC 1 & 2, with some rare 3 here & there; but playing a Chalice on 1 will turn off SO MANY DECKS. I’ve played a Pox deck for a while and you’d be surprised how many people have straight up conceded because of a Chalice on turn 1. Just be careful not to hinder yourself when playing this.

Modern All-Star

While this card shines more in Modern, Blood Moon still sees it’s fair share of play in Legacy and is really good in this deck. Your deck is mostly colourless and your only blue cards can be cast for free, so honestly Blood Moon doesn’t affect you. On the other hand this card is a massive pain in the ass for a lot of decks, including control & tempo, which are the majority of the meta. Oh, and the Lands deck also HATES this card.

Another Star?

Oh hey look another amazing card across all the formats! Ensnaring Bridge is just so good against so many decks. If you’re able to get this down with a Blood Moon & Defense Grid I honestly don’t know what your opponent can do to get out of this, at least before sideboard. This card can buy you so many turns.

Mana Base

Normally the deck would play a mix of fetches & duals with a playset of Ancient Tomb for some extra fast first turns and some good fixing, but since the deck is Masterpiece only duals are a no-go. I’d recommend playing some Scalding Tarns, Steam Vents, Wasteland & Cascade Bluffs; 18 lands should be enough sicne you have a lot of mana rocks at 0cmc. I’ve tested a bit and the curve is really smooth with these lands.

Situational Cards

You have some decent sideboard options but I HIGHLY recommend going with Engineered Explosives, Pithing Needle, Sphere of Resistance & Trinisphere. Those cards all offer some really nice utility against different decks, as well as some ways to keep some decks in check. You just need to learn what cards are in your opponent’s deck to know which card to bring in, but all those sideboard cards should cover most decks, except maybe Reanimator, but you already have Ensnaring Bridge which kind of shuts down Griselbrand so...

Wrap-Up

That’s it for this week! I hope you guys enjoyed this deck tech as much as I did. Again, BY NO MEANS am I recommending you buy this deck, for god’s sake it’s worth 12k! I’m just saying it’s possible to make a viable Legacy deck with only Masterpiece cards and that the deck is really fun! The deck functions as a prison-type deck, preventing your opponent from doing anything while you assemble your combo. You can either win on turn 2 or 3, or go the prison route, play it safe, and win on turn 10-12, it depends on your match-up. In any case, if I missed anything please let me know. Hello everyone, this is Sake Kitty.

Now let me state that I am going to focus on my accounts with Lillee Jean, her mom, and her 'fan base.’ Other people might be mention but that is because they were also effect too in some way.

Now I know people might want to know WHY/HOW I became involved in the #lillejean drama.

Well It was because of #cosplay and her involvement. I found her out with her #sailormoon makeup tutorial. It's not the best but it did seem like she was getting into cosplay and intergrading it with her makeup looks/tutorials.

I found it odd that this makeup guru with 1mil followers on Instagram and 12k on YouTube with not many views or comments. It was a clear sign that these are mainly bought followers. It not the first time I seen cosplayers buy followers or likes (that another subject). It's wasn’t until I looked at other people videos on what she did over the years ( I fell down the rabbit hole. It was deep) Some of them are

- talking about her boyfriend being 9 years older than her and telling her young viewers about it and saying that "its ok for an old man to date a 14 year old as long you don't report it."

- Being transphobic

- Harassment

- Racism

- Fake followers, like and engagement

- Lying on her skills and brand deals

- Can't take any good criticism

- Spreading rumors

Now these are things that people DON’T WANT in the cosplay community. I been a guest at conventions and you really have to hold yourself to a higher standard since a lot of people will look up to you. Your behaviors reflect on the community. Plus she focus on cartoon, Disney, Anime, and comic book characters. Those will being in a younger audiences and they will think that what she says or does is ok. I also think that she heading to the cosplay area is because she lost any chance of becoming a Makeup Guru and doing cosplay will get her more views and sponsorships (which it did).

More and more Makeup artist are trying out cosplay looks and brand are going to the cosplayers because being geek is cool and there is a whole community and Money into cosplay.

Sad thing is that some brand deals and even conventions have hired and got guests that lie about their fame and skills. I have called out other cosplayers over the years on their lies and made sure they won’t be guest or enter competitions. It is very unfair when people lie, cheat, and bought their way to the top.

I was worried that she was going to get hired, sponsors, and even get invited to be guest at conventions. I didn’t want someone like that to be in the community. So I called her out on twitter to not let her be guest at conventions.

This really piss her off and that when the endless harassment began. I am just a small time cosplayer so I know my story is just a small one but I think it needs to be told. So, for the next few days, I am going to show and share my story of this terrible person.

There is a Chamber of Commerce in every single city in the United States. These Chambers give you the business name, phone number, email, and even the Owners name (sometimes). Give them a call and have a plan ready. You don't just call people and not have a plan. Hopefully when I get some time I can write a script so you all can see this. Sample: "Hello my name is Joe. Is the business Owner or director of marketing available" -- You'll get back an answer such as: "No, can I take a message" "Sure One sec" or "Whats this regarding" and then you simply explain to them what you do and you don't want to take too much of their time and simply ask for an email. 99.9% of the time I've gotten an email. Emails = LEADS.Website and making sure On-Page SEO is done. - TipPeople of reddit. Please don't laugh at my cartoon website. Who knows maybe I'm just over thinking it, but I can't wait to re do our website. We just have zero time at the moment as we are swamped with clients. It's like meeting a girl and asking her to get married ASAP. That will never work. Same thing goes with business. DON'T SELL ON THE FIRST MEETING. Give them advice, and actually talk with them and hear their needs and what they've done in the past. If the potential client does ask for a price simply let them know that you need to go back to your team and talk it over before giving them a price which then sets up for a 2nd meeting. 3 weeks ago I hit a womans car in Sydney with my friends 4WD. I did not have any insurance on my side and now the woman's insurance wants me to pay for the damage. They gave me a call saying the damage was AU$ 5760 but if I would pay AU$ 2900 in the next 4 weeks that would be it for me. Now Insurance companies are not known to be humanitarian organisations so why would they let me get away with less money? Why did my lawyer tell the car insurance company to pay PIP directly to me when I asked to have my bill paid?

I spoke to my auto insurance company because my lawyer took two months to file my personal injury protection claim. Once, I took action into my own hands then I was assured that the woman handling my case from my car insurance company would see that my PIP paid for my medical expenses because I don't have health insurance. However, another month has passed and I have heard nothing from my lawyer about my case even though I call his office every week. So, today I received a letter in the mail from my lawyer office to my claim insurance person. It has her name on it but my address so I am not sure if it was intentionally sent that way or not. Yet, I read over it and it tells my insurance claim to pay the PIP directly to me and not to the medical company. What do I do about this?
