"Aziraphale held out his hand. 'Nice knowing you,' he said. Crowley took it. 'Here's to the next time,' he said."
The show is already perfect. But this scene was the peak of the book. Why not combine both ?

A very quick sketchbook Crowley, 1920′s. With so much beautiful celebration art for this month and that lockdown video that i’m still emotionally processing I really really wanted to share something even if it was messy.
“Your shoulders, dear, they’re...m-marvelous...”

Ok ok Good Omens Lockdown thoughts:
- gosh i wish they were in lockdown together
- crowley being all "errrr but everyone is already so miserable....i couldn't POSSIBLY be evil at at time like this...."
- aziraphale can bake!!!
- in all honesty with regards to their relationship i can see it making sense. If we assume armaggedon happened in 2019 (i believe that's what the timeline of the TV show confirms) then they've only officially been on Their Side for a handful of months
- I can DEFINITELY see these two wanting to be together and make things official, but 6,000 years of setting a specific precedent is hard to shake. It's absolutely possible that they're both waffling and hesitating over making the next steps
- AZIRAPHALE is hesitating
- both of their voices at the end? The "goodnight angel"? They WANT to be together, but neither really knows how to overstep that boundary that's been laid for thousands of years
- in conclusion your honor they're in love but incredibly stupid and we stan

Thirty years ago Good Omens was published, and sixteen years after that I read it for the first time. This is the first and only fandom I have ever returned to. In my life, I’ve never drawn so much of one theme – or anything, at all – in such a short time, and it hasn’t been a short time. It’s been most of a year! I’ve never stuck with anything for this long, and it’s because of you. All the creators, the artists and writers and crafters, and especially everyone enjoying these things, giving us so much love and encouragement.
It’s through Good Omens that I met my dearest friend (who was there for ages, our orbits just finally collided) and so many others I’ve come to love and admire. I’ve done things I’m so proud of, things I never thought I could. I’ve learned so much.
Through it all is this comfort that comes from these two sweet idiots who like each other despite good reasons not to, because they’re just the same, because they can rely on each other. Thank you for bringing them to us together with your dear friend, @neil-gaiman.

Hey @neil-gaiman and Terry Pratchett, thank you for bringing us so many years of joy with this wonderful book, and also for the past year of fun after the miniseries came out!
So I already have a Good Omens papercraft in the works, (you can see the wip photos on my twitter, zeeteeart) but I put it on pause to make a little something commemorating the 30th anniversary! It follows the paper, cotton, and leather anniversary themes from @goodomenscelebration! (well ok the fabric is actually book cover linen and the leather’s just fancy paper, but still!) One of my early concepts was to do the whole thing in papyrus, but I’m very glad I just used it for Aziraphale’s hair. I have several shades of it and it woulda looked cool, but every time I craft with papyrus I remember why we as a species so thoroughly embraced pulped paper. Tricky stuff.
Did this whole piece in two marathon papercrafting sessions this weekend, cutting everything in ~4 hours on saturday and gluing it in ~5 hours on sunday. Whew! I included a couple in-progress shots to show the “exploded view” after I’d cut everything, and also how I did their eyes. You can also see a Rejected Eyebrow above Aziraphale’s head, I recut and fiddled with it endlessly...
