Of course I've got caught into the latest DP shitpost led by @tourettesdog 's little baby man in the middle of creating something called "Ascended Ancient".

Cw: Animal death, blood and gore
Day 18 of DCA Promptober: Beast
He probably got out while he was in a stupor, he gets stupid hangry fresh after a shift and the local game are always sure to suffer for it
One of Sun’s worst fears is that one day the carcass he comes-to half-devoured is a person. Moon, Monty, and the rest of the glams have been diligent in watching over him on moon weeks for years, but things like this do happen and it haunts his nightmares how easy it is for him to potentially maul someone he cares about
Or worse: share his “predicament” with them

okay the SECOND i saw @fanneyxxx 's comic inspired by the amazing @sinimake 's "the two sides of a sword" fic (which coincidentally was right after i read it) i KNEW I HAD TO DRAW THIS.
its nowhere near the complexity of the comic but it still took like 10 hours and multiple upper left trap flare ups 😭
theres like 600 million layers too (64) and one of them is this
which was added because one of my friends asked me where his nipples were. and then when i told her that he is wearing a shirt, she insisted that she should have fanservice regardless of johnny being literally stabbed so i made that as a peace offering.
they dont call me the angstphere for nothing 😎 (play on angst and Shakespeare) i love angst fic and art so much literally my fav genre 😭

Tags from my previous post via @000marie198 (I made this a separate post so I can link it to the fic in case someone else would want additional context but it got way too long for me to just slap it at the begining of the fic itself👍)
Alright so, the spark notes version of the stuff one needs to know exept it's not sparknotes at all because I cannot be normal about this guy rn:
Nightmare!Sans is an Undertale AU thing specifically from an AU called Dreamtale created by @/jokublog (go read the Drematale comic go read it RIGHT NOW, it has epik sun and moon brothers angst– no pressure tho :D) that 13-14 year old me was absolutely insane over. For the purposes of this fic all you need to know is that he's an evil bastard bitch that psychologically tortures people for fun but rarely actually kills cuz dead people can't suffer anymore and that's no fun for him.
More seriously he's the embodiment of negativity, grows stronger from negative emotions and his mere presence amplifies them. His name is pretty self-explanatory, but Im not sure if he can directly influence what's exactly going on or if it's just his bad vibes that cause people to have nightmares, but this is my au and I get to do whatever I want. He's also a shapeshifter made of toxic sludge that burns if you touch it for too long. Oh, and the only one that even has a chance at fighting or fending him off is his twin brother Dream who is the guardian of positivity (which is as good as poison to Nightmare and the only thing that causes damage to him I forgor to mention!!) is not at all present in Sonic's world at the moment :)

Hi, im a beginner horror enjoyer and im really disturbed by a lot of gore but i wanna understand the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies bc ive heard theyre hugely influential on the genre (rightly so too)
I figured with all this id ask the foremost texas chainsaw scholar i am aware of
Could you tell me the basics, if its gross (im really bad at tolerating gross out horror and gore played realistic), and any fun tidbits?
If not i thank you for reading and hope you have a good day ^-^
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was hugely influential on the genre and set the standard for low budget horror and inspired future filmmakers to rely more on psychological terror over gore & violence! It was also seemingly the birth of a lot of horror tropes, like big, masked killers and using power tools for weapons.
Texas Chainsaw's story is inspired by serial killers like Ed Gein and Elmer Wayne Henley. The movie’s director, Tobe Hooper, was inspired by the graphic coverage of violence by San Antonio news outlets and based elements of the plot on murderer Ed Gein, who was a notorious serial killer who made furniture out of human body parts and created a mask made of human skin. The movie’s underlying themes are mostly the horrors of isolation, and the dangers of unchecked capitalism. The movie is also a metaphor for the Nixon-era mayhem and the government’s deceit toward the public during the 1970s. Hooper intentionally misled audiences by claiming that the movie was based on a true story to attract a wider audience.
I honestly don't know how to give you the basics aside from a plot synopsis because I would, hand to God, be sitting here for about 12 hours minimum going into every weird little detail, like the intricacies of bubba's mental issues and being forced to take on a female role for his abusive older brothers, or all the absolutely insane shit that happened during filming. And that'd just be me talking about the FIRST film.
But if you want to ask me more questions or see more Texas chainsaw related stuff you can ask/look over at my blog @chainsawhouse. I just hate to gum up my main blog with this particular interest.
Also, my fun tidbit is that they've recently confirmed that there is a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the works, under the title 'Texas Chainsaw Legacy'! Very fun imo.

There's this weird and very gory French + Canadian film called Martyrs (exercise caution when looking it up in terms of images if that stuff freaks you out) and the basic concept is like. Some cult trying to understand what happens after death by bringing people to the brink of it in the most traumatic and agonizing ways possible. And I just realized that that's really some William Afton shit, both for the original motive and for remnant extraction.
(Accidentally wrote an essay in the tags so, ah. Read those I guess)
