Not An Easy Choice

Love writing sister fics so yes deffo, here you go.

Lando x youngest Leclerc! - reader is going to be very extroverted and kind of golden retriever gf vibes. So if you're a fan of the Shy series you might not quite relate to this sm. P.S there is more for the Shy series coming!

Y/n having 3 brothers means there's always a bit of natural protectiveness. Especially after they lost Hervé. The three brothers stepped up to take care of the youngest sister.

Charles is quite often not there as much as his other brothers due to F1. So when he arranges for her to be present for all the F1 race throughout July, he wants to make the most of having her there with him. There's 4 races this month, and he's more excited for her to be there for them all than he is to be there for the races in general.

Being in Austria, there's obviously huge support for Max. But y/n is there for Charles and Arthur since there is an F1 and an F2 race.

Much like her brothers, y/n is a friendly, social butterfly who loves to talk to anyone and everyone.

"This is so amazing. I forgot what being in the paddock was like." Y/n gasps then stumbling when she sees Fernando. "Ah, oh my gosh."

"Control yourself, please y/n." Arthur groans while Fernando spots the young woman who he does know and had not realised he'd gone so long without seeing till right now.

Y/n got close to both Seb and Fernando as she admired them both when she grew up watching F1 with her brothers. But Seb retired so she is only as excited to see Fernando.

"Hello, princesa." Fernando greets as she rushes to hug him. "Where have you been? Why have you not been to any races?"

"Blame my brothers for not inviting me." Y/n laughs before spotting someone over his shoulder. "Oh I haven't got to meet Oscar."

"Ah yes, go be social." Fernando laughs while Charles and Arthur try to chase their little sister who is like an excited puppy with new people. "Good luck, boys!"

Lando catches y/n in a hug, mainly to protect/cushion introverted Oscar from y/n's high energy but also because he sort of missed seeing y/n. Even if it's purely because she matches his energy.

"Hi, Oscar. I'm y/n, Charles little sister."

"Yeah...I remember you being around the paddock last season. But I didn't really get to know you." Oscar states accepting a hug from her in greeting since time with Lando has helped him grow more comfortable with meeting new people.

"How is it being in McLaren?" Y/n asks softening a little as she picks up on the fact Oscar is clearly a little more quiet in personality.

The group all get talking with the boys all discussing driving and the upcoming races for the rest of the month.

"So when do you leave?" Lando asks trying to be subtle in his interest of y/n and her presence in the paddock.

"I'll be at every race weekend this month. Charles feels like we haven't see much of each other so he's keeping me around for a bit." Y/n smiles brightly then moving to hug her brother who accepts it with open arms.

Y/n gives the best hugs and no one will ever argue otherwise. Although she thinks Max's post-race hugs always look like they hit different.

"I think you should come visit the McLaren garage at some point. We have the best set up." Lando states making her grin while Charles very quickly notices the glint in Lando's eyes when looking at his little sister.

"Ahaha, no she is here for Ferrari and Ferrari only." Charles smiles while she grins at him, none the wiser to his words and their subliminal message to Lando, who actually also has no idea about them. "Why don't you go visit some of the F2 drivers with Arthur?"

Y/n frowns at his suggestion since he usually wouldn't suggest she leave his side at all, but Arthur guides her to where most of the Prema drivers are based.

The moment she is out of hearing distance, Charles turns to Lando. Uncaring of Oscar still being there to witness it.

"Uh Lando, you stay away from my sister. Ok? Don't flirt, don't give her that look and don't try to spend time with her."

"What? Why?"

"Because I say no." Charles states simply making Oscar stifle a laugh, he had silently noticed Lando's gaze looking y/n up and down like he wanted to pounce on the young woman, but he chose not to comment since she was either ignoring it or genuinely not noticing. "I don't want to be enemies, stay away from her."

Charles walks off leaving the two McLaren boys to look at each other.

"I don't think I've ever seen Charles like that...I feel like it might be safe." Oscar advises but he can tell Lando is both annoyed about the warning and looking at her for a moment. "Oh boy."

"She's 21 years old. Too old for Charles to be stepping in and getting in the way."

Oscar wants to ask how Lando would feel about Charles checking out and flirting with either of his sisters but instead he remains quiet.

What they don't know is Charles has found y/n and taken her to the Ferrari unit to talk to her about Lando.

"I think you are being dramatic." Y/n states dismissively while Charles grumbles. "Charles, I have enough to worry about with you and Arthur in those cars. I don't need to get into a relationship and panic about someone else I love being someone that I could lose."

Charles has to respect that choice, he knows that with his job comes risk. In fact, he knows that all too well after losing Jules. So it's no wonder that while she is both his and Arthur's biggest supporter, she's also not eager to add another person to the list for people she needs to panic about.

Despite her words and despite his warning, Lando and y/n spent the next race weekend together constantly. But he's almost certain it's purposely to wind him up.

They spend the whole time flirting, playing fighting, talking and just consistently doing anything and everything they can think if. Usually it's initiated by Lando and y/n is more than happy to annoy her overprotective brother. After all her love life is not something he gets a say in.

"So did you ever think about karting as a kid?" Lando asks as they sit hidden away in a corner of the McLaren unit.

"I never did it seriously. Never raced, but I used to get in Charles kart and go around in it. But it was never anything but just a bit of fun." Y/n shrugs while reaching to pick up some of the sweets that Lando brought over for her.

"I think you'd look great in a racing suit...especially a McLaren racing suit." Lando smirks leaning back in his chair and shooting her a wink.

"That might just put Charles in hospital from a heart attack. Even the suggestion...I don't know how you guys do it to be honest."

"Do what?"

"Go out on a track and not just feel absolute terror, especially at the start. Like when Max crashed in Silverstone. I actually cried." Y/n sighs then shaking her head. Your crash at Spa...Every one of Charles crashes make me want to call and ask him to find a different career path."

"It's that bad?"

"It passes quickly." Y/n shrugs before smiling. "Annoyingly you're beginning to grow on me. So you might find me upset if you get in any accidents."

"I don't make those sorts of mistakes. If I do it's usually because of someone else." Lando grins then sighing. "Your brother doesn't want us getting close."

"Well it's not up to him." Y/n frowns which makes Lando internally grin since that's exactly what he was hoping she'd say. "He wouldn't be happy with me, but he'd get over it eventually."

"I think you should be my girlfriend and let me kiss you then." Lando whispers reaching forward to hold her waist before he latches on and pulls her towards himself. Locking them in a kiss that they both melt into, though Lando mumbles something against her lips that makes her smile into it. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

Eventually they break apart and she sighs softly leaning her head against his.

"I guess now I've you to worry about as well?" Y/n whispers with a small smile. "Not that I'm complaining...But I think we should keep this between us for now."

"Even from Charles?"

"Especially from Charles, might even tell Arthur just to recruit him into helping us hiding it." Y/n smiles then twirling a finger around one of his curls. "Unless you just want to tell him."

"No, it's ok. I'm fine with that." Lando shrugs shaking his head, really just genuinely happy that he can at least have her behind closed doors and get to enjoy her company with them in a relationship.

"I should go see him, he's definitely been looking for me and I don't want him coming in here to look for me. That will be a step too far."

"Ok, I'll see you later." Lando nods catching her for another kiss before he leans back, allowing her to stand up, picking up her bag and the sweet with a cheeky grin shot in his direction before she blows him a kiss while he winks at her.

With Arthur recruited, though with a lot of pouting, pleading and eventually some mild blackmail, Lando and y/n have managed to get through the home race for Lando at Silverstone, Hungary and Spa.

But now comes the matter of the summer break which seems them with nearly an entire month off.

Theoretically it shouldn't be hard to find time for each other since they both live in Monaco but apparently the Leclerc siblings always spend the summer breaks together doing anything and everything on some special list that y/n comes up with through the first half of the season. Lando has found himself as the needy one in the relationship, not so much possessive and jealous but just always wanting her attention and love. So a month of not seeing her feels like a form of torture before it's even started.

"Can we tell him during the break?" Lando asks as y/n rests her head on his chest, feeling him play with her hair.

It's Sunday night after the Spa race which thankfully didn't really have any drama.

"You think you can handle it?"

"We can have it out on the padel court." Lando mumbles then sighing. "I want to see you every day in the break."

Y/n looks up genuinely looking shocked at him, even though he's the clingier of the two. Really she assumed he'd want a bit of a break from her. But instead he wants to see more of her since the first part of the week even with races he would go without seeing her.

"Ok...what if you joined in with my brothers and I for the break? We won't be doing something every single day of the break. Charles does what a few days off to spend time training and I think he wants time without his siblings to spend with Alex at some point too."

"I'm being invited into family time?" Lando grins making her nod a little.

"Yeah. That sounds good to me." She beams before laughing lightly while she sighs softly to herself. "Are you sure you can handle spending so much time with me?"

"Spending the summer break with you sounds better than spending it with anyone else." Lando grins wrapping his arms around her to half-squeeze the air from her lungs. "I can't wait."

And so on Monday when they get back to Monaco and Charles asks what's on the list of things to do, y/n decides to break the news to her brother.

"There's a few things...Lando said he wanted to play golf." Y/n states trying to be casual while Arthur's head whips around to look at their little sister in shock, maybe she should've warned him ahead of time that she'd be dropping the bomb. Charles has a similar reaction but clearly for a slightly different reason. "If...that's alright?"

"No. No, that's not alright. Why would we do what Lando wants? He is not going to be there." Charles declares while Arthur grimaces at how badly this is going already. "Y/n?"

"Charles...Please, this was really hard. I didn't like hiding anything from you but..Lando doesn't want to keep it secret and he wants to spend time with me." Y/n explains then biting her lip. "Please."

"Unbelievable." Charles mutters then walking away from her and Arthur.

Now there was a few reactions she imagined but him just leaving the apartment was the last thing she expected from him. Arthur tries to comfort her but it doesn't do much, though she still thanks him for it.

"He just need times to come around, y/n." Arthur states earning a small smile before she swallows thickly.

"I think I'm going to just go see Lando. I'll send you the list of stuff I thought we could do from my phone." Y/n mumbles which Arthur nods at with a sigh.

Y/n heads over to Lando's place where he's gaming for Quadrant on live stream with his friend from home. Max Fewtrell, from what she knows of him, he's a pretty nice guy and one of Lando's biggest supporters by a mile.

"Lando?!" Y/n calls out letting herself into his apartment since he left the door unlocked for her.

"Hey, baby. You can come in." Lando calls out since he had the door open for when she'd arrive. "Guess who it is, guys...You'll never guess."

Y/n smiles walking into the room, feeling her mood lift just from his presence as she sees him turned to look at her.

"Hello, I didn't expect you here so early." Lando states watching her smile waver but she shrugs it off.

"I just wanted to see you." Y/n murmurs earning some cooing from Lando before she leans in to the mic. "Hi, everyone. Hi, Max."

"Some people don't know who you are baby, introduce yourself." Lando states pointing at the chat to make her read some of the comments. "Full name."

"Oh right, I'm y/n Leclerc." Y/n smiles with a wave to the camera.

"I'm almost done here, do you want to just sit in here or grab something to eat?" Lando asks making her pause before she nods deciding to go ahead with getting something to eat. "Ah, kiss."

Y/n makes a comment over Lando being bossy before she kisses him and then leaves the room. Heading to the kitchen, she doesn't miss the sound of him practically boasting about her and the fact that he really loves her. Something tells her that he's talking to Max about her which is pretty endearing.

Eventually he appears and steals a bite of her sandwich as he sits down next to her.

"Why are you upset baby?" Lando asks clearly having read her emotions a lot easier than she had originally thought.

"I told Charles and...he didn't shout or tell me that he wouldn't allow it. He just said that it was unbelievable and left." Y/n explains watching Lando frown because it's fairly obvious that reaction is not what anyone would expect from Charles. "It'll be fine, I mean he's my brother but I just didn't expect that from him."

Y/n ended up staying with Lando for the night but when morning came, she realised she had got a text from Charles asking for both of them to go his yacht.

Even Lando seemed a little hesitant and joked about Charles throwing him overboard and trying to hit him with the yacht. He does still come with her, if only for Charles to have one less thing to hold against him.

"Hi, mate-" Lando greets as they get on the yacht to find actually all three of her brothers are there. "-s."

"What's going on?" Y/n asks mainly looking at Arthur since he appears to be the least threateningly angry of the trio.

"Charles has thought about it...and maybe a couple other women talked some sense into him." Arthur explains making the couple look at Charles. Y/n knows that the woman is their mother and Alex, Charles' girlfriend.

"I'm still not happy and it hurts that you hid it from me. But it's not my business and you should be with someone who makes you happy. I wish it wasn't Lando, but it is and I accept that." Charles states though it still sounds pretty forced. "But no wearing any McLaren branded stuff. Ferrari only."

"Ok. I can agree to that." Y/n nods before she moves over, smiling brightly and hugging her brother while Lando bites his tongue but only for a few moments.

"It's ok, you'll have a McLaren niece or nephew though."

"Aha, no because this is a PG relationship with my innocent little sister." Charles states with that same scary expression which makes Lando feel like his life is almost definitely threatened.

"Yeah, right of course." Lando assures him falsely while raising his hands in surrender, but the wink shot to y/n undoes every word. "So a free day on Charles yacht?"

"Yes." Lorenzo smiles happy to have off-loaded the oldest brother role of being overprotective of their sister onto Charles for once since usually Charles isn't there and it is on him to be the one taking care of her.

They spend the day lazing in the sun, and Lando does get tossed in the water at one point but there isn't any intentions that are too bad and y/n gets thrown in with him before the rest of the brothers jump into the water with them.

And they do get to properly discuss plans for the rest of the summer break, with only a couple of the plans being things that Lando agrees to not take part in. Though that's mainly because he realises he has other plans to attend.

you and nick had been seeing eachother for a few months now. you had meet through mutual friends and you instantly clicked. once the NFL season started he had you in a suite at every single game. you absolutely loved making friends with all of the players partners and watching nick play every sunday.

it was the last game before the super bowl that would determine if the 49ers made it or not. you and all of the girls had been on the edge of your seats the whole game. the 49ers were currently 17-24 against the detroit lions.

the lions had fumbled the ball and the 49ers got it back. purdy threw to kittle and got a touchdown then made the field goal making the score 27-24.

He still has duties and responsibilities he must uphold and he doesn't want members of the Hei or his terrible cousins sticking their nose where they don't belong and give him trouble. But when he's not with you for the remainder of the day, he feels a part of him is missing that evening and he hates the facade he's forced to maintain in front of them.

Teen!Toji, who dreams about running away with you and starting a new life somewhere far away and live in the countryside village where no one knows your names. He's aware that it's a foolish thought and he can't truly escape the shackles of the Zenin clan so he always keeps it to himself. But if you were the one to propose such an idea, he'd agree in a heartbeat because as long as you have each other he can come up with counter-attacks to any difficulties and problems that stand in the way.
