Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo?

So, we all know that these 2 are hanging out a lot with each other. They make stories, tiktoks, etc together. Many people always considered them close friends.

But now there are tweets and rumours about Conan being Olivias boyfriend. Sources say that Conan wears Olivia's skirts, or that he wears more make-up than his "lady-love" when attending certain events.

To find out if they actually are a thing, we have to look at Conan Gray's newest song, which is Killing me, and came out on Halloween 2023. He explained in a tiktok the story behind it:

"I had this friend and we got really close and I ended up falling for them. But obviously I was way to afraid to say anythjng. one day, out of nowhere, they kissed me. And then, they gave me the flu. And then they ghosted me! [...] And thats why the song is called killing me, because the person was physically and mentally killing me."

It could fit to Olivia, especially in the first part. They seemed to get really close the last few months, and it could be possible for Conan and Olivia to develop feelings. There is also a chance of Olivia kissing Conan, even ghosting him. But, if we look at another part of the video, we see that the timeline is...kinda weird.

See, Conan is also describing his medical journey here. "And then the flu turned into a sinus infection, which turned into chronic tonsillitis for 6 months.", he said.

According to that, the whole falling-in-love-phase must have happend a bit over 6 months ago, maybe 7 by now. The two are friends since March 2021 by now, so there could be a possible corelation. But then again, Conan said they grew really close, and I imagine he meant that they grew close in a short time. If my calculation is right, the whole kiss-flu-thing happend in April or May of 2023, by which time they already knew one another very well for 2 years.

That speaks rapidly against Olivia being Conan's secret lover. Also, Conan always keeps the pronouns of his love interest neutral, which makes us assume the person doesnt want to be popular, or Conan doesnt want anyone to know too much. But if they would be together, why hide it? They're both in the spotlight and well-known on the internet. Also, Olivia spoke a lot about her ex on her last album guts, making it unrealistic to be with Conan.
