Also never going to stop thinking about Fit and Mouse's friendship. Mouse, a feared demon with the power to obliterate any creature but who is just a bit clumsy; and Fit, a simple but dangerous human who can kill in seconds and has a soft spot for anyone who needs help.

Fit saw this literal demon and said yeah I need to help her. I always think of the moment in Purgatory where Mouse was about to die of dehydration and Fit gave her water at the last second, or how he gave her materials all the time and drove her around in his boat.

was listening to an advice podcast and a letter writer opened by saying she realized a few years ago that ALL her friendships were Toxic and ended ALL of them and now she wants a "chosen family like the lgbtq community has" my eyebrows shot UP

#possibly too much to unpack???? #the advice-givers were pretty generous but i'm just stuck on “all of them were toxic” no elaboration or specificity like girl all of them??? #also i don't even like it when other lgbtq people act like a 'chosen family' is just something that you get issued #or a type of relationship other people in the community owe you #like you still have to put in a lot of time and work and you'll likely have like an 80% rate of potential friendships going nowhere #to say nothing of the ones that become properly friendly but never have that level of depth or intensity #not to say those are bad because we often need a broad variety of relationships but like #also i'm not saying this lady was the problem in the failed friendships but if you're the common denominator and you don't even #mention considering or working on your own role in those dynamics nor do you offer an account of what the other person actually did #not even something like 'i had a falling out with one person and everyone chose them' or something like that #well i have questions #that will never be answered :( #sorry for loving gossip #personal nonsense
