Hello. List of what animals I believe each just roll with it pc I know would be. I am objectively correct but if you disagree please tell me anyways I crave other people’s opinions to steal.

Riptide

Jay: a bird, obviously. Saying she’s a jaybird is easy and low hanging fruit and extremely valid. Personally I think she’s maybe a corvid since very smart but also absolute fucking menace. Honestly? Could be a seagull. Loud and lives near water and also smart but also? Absolutely insane. Yeah sure I could say she’s something cool like an eagle or whatever but I think in our hearts we all know she’s a seagull.

Gillion: of course he is a sea creature! But what kind? Fish. More specifically? Swordfish. Of course. What else could he be (he could be a shark but shhhh im saving that one for later)

Chip: the bastard man himself! Which animals are the biggest bastards? Raccoons. Yes I am basic. He’s either a raccoon or a little dog. I am specifically thinking my mom’s 11 year old small dog who yells at men and tries to pick a fight with every single dog that is larger than her. That’s some Chip energy right there.

Goobleck: bro who knows like what the hell is that thing i do not. Hes whatever he ate most recently. Bros fursona is just straight up slime. He is an enigma.

Prime defenders (+Ashe I don’t care that technically he was just a guest he deserves to be here)

William: ravens, black cats, bats, butterflies, snakes, crows. All associated with death which makes sense for our little ghost guy! But of course we can’t forget wolves! He has two wolves inside of him after all. But also? He is not cool enough to be a wolf. That man is a black cat with a dream and sharp sharp claws.

Vyncent: I think it would be funny to call him a rat. Since he eats them. And also he just kinda is a rat. But no, I believe he is a deer. Don’t really know why, just….. vibes.

Dakota: my beloved son. He’s a yappy little dog. Bouncing all over the place and screaming at evil-doers. I believe in him.

Ashe: strong cat energy. Is william already a cat? Yes. But so is ashe. He’s like a fully gray cat with short hair :)

Apotheosis

Rumi/Elena: fox! Because Sunny :) also because I can’t really think of an animal that would be a good representation for an identity crisis

Peter: “lizard” no. Peter Sqloint is a mouse. Just a lil guy. I’m right fuck you he. Is. A. Mouse.

Thanatos: spider! Kinda scary and lots of people dont like but in reality just an awesome dude. Shoutout to my friend’s pet spider Mörkö I love them

Blood in the bayou

Rolan: shark!!!! Im right and i need to say it. That man is a fucking shark. I love sharks. Sharks are generally misunderstood as violent and evil but they are just lil guys. Fits Rolan being an evil alien monster but just also a lawyer. (Also i just really like sharks)

Rand: y’all ever cry about pigeons? How we domesticated them and then abandoned them when we didnt need them anymore? How they dont even know how to make proper nests because they didnt need to for so long? Yeah. Im normal about this campaign.

Kian: he’s so hard to figure out because like…….. honestly? In canon? Weve got no fucking clue what his personality is actually like. We dont get a single moment with all the masks off and just the person underneath. The closest we get is him admitting that hes not really a rockstar and even that is so short and just. Auehgeh. This is why im obsessed with him btw i love a mystery i know will never be solved. Also so much room for headcanons. Is he a cat? A butterfly? A dog? A snake? A songbird? A dove? Something else? I dont know!! Lets go with a moth

The suckening

They are all cats. I mean c’mon. Emizel is a feral street cat that hisses at everyone who gets too close. Shilo is an indoor cat with an anxiety disorder. Arthur is their mother. Im correct.

hhh designing colourzas in the year of out lord 2024 and i have sO MUCH to say about them,, spent the last few days assigning each of them a wingless + winged animal and ended up with this (also! the not underlined animals are the ones not explicitly used in their designs)

ill put my notes about them all under the cut because theres a lot but the big ones are:

- blueza and redza twin propaganda cos theyre the only hooved animals here

- grayzas winged bird is the only flightless one because i thought that would be funny, also the name is just so ominous for no reason which i also thought would be funny

-yellowza is so difficult to find animals for but i settled on peacock pansy butterfly because peacocks are fancy n stuff and hes fancy n stuff, but peacocks are purple, so the yellow bug equivalent is the best i can do for him. I have yet to decide on a winged animal for him lol..also hes sucha bug to me, ik hes canonically a bird but hes such a bug. however if he was a bird he would be a birds of paradise bird, absolutely, no questions asked

anyway heres more notes i wrote down a few days ago

sidenote purplezas, redzas and bluezas animals are the only ones that dont match their colours and are neutral colours instead

—Redza is the only bat because he’s the first one who existed i think. also because his vibes match bats and nobody else matches bats but i gotta make it Lore. also he’s one of the only two hoofed+wingless animals, along with blueza, because redza blueza twin propaganda..and hes an ibex instead of anything else because i think the long, straight horns suit him better than others. there was also like. the addax, eland, oryx, ect but i decided goat > antelope because goats are smaller and more gremliny + association with the devil or somthin?? also he gets a funny little goatee

—Orangeza is a red fox bcos fox = cunning n smart idk….and that species because of its orange fur, pretty simple not given much thought but thats okay, it matches him pretty well i think. also i hc that one of his front moth wings (the brown ones, they cover the orange wings) got damaged so he patched it up with orange something because more orange and haha inventor guy fixes things you know. its okay i don’t either

-Yellowza was gonna be a longhorn beetle but they’re too orange. then a bumblebee but he’s not. he’s not a bee. but i finally settled on peacock pansy because peacocks are like. fancy n shit but he cant be a peacock because they’re purple, so yellow butterfly version is the next best thing. ALSO ik hes like canonically a bird and stuff,but MAN. HES JUST A BUG TO ME. but if he was a bird he would absolutely be a birds of paradise bird because Yes. honorable mention to the great tailed grackle.

his wingless animal was a STRUGGLE and i have yet to pick it hahaskmb….also i characterize him as a material girl instead of cheery optimist because there are enough cheery optimists

—Blueza was the easiest to decide lmao, he’s just a deer. either that or a moose, but deer are more gentle also thats like canon so yeah..white tailed deer 🦌 oh holy shit deer emojiand redza blueza twin propaganda, he’s one of the only two hoofed wingless animals here yesyes

his winged animal had to be a bird, preferable a dove because symbolism and whatnot right? he got mourning dove because fluffy lad + theres no white doves in the wild so i cant make him a white dove. probably going to draw him with whiter wings though to match his colour pallet haha, i dunno i haven’t really given him much thought

—it was so difficult to decide if Purpleza was a bird or a bug but i ended up with bird, because he’s a fluffy guy not a bug guy? and then choosing a bird was pain because theres so many pretty purple birds i really like but he’s more of a black bird, emo ass mfer

couldn’t make him a crow, raven felt off, considered grackles bcos they have purple wing shine whatever its called but they’re too social skdhdkfgngcn..solitary caciques had a good chance because they’re black birds that are very antisocial, literally purpleza. BUT I eventually decided on purple honeycreeper because they’re dark purple with black wings, and hang out in small groups with other species of birds, i think that speaks for itself.

-might change the wingless animal of Pinkza idk axolotl feels too easy? but the only other guys i have are like. naked mole rat and pink dolphin and i cant implement those in a way that makes sense in my head LOL

and he’s a butterfly right, the pink rose butterfly really suits him i think but not his light color pallet. the other pink butterflies don’t suit him really, and the pink moths all have yellow which no. but then i found the pink orchid mantis. who is so soft and gentle looking, but uses its soft and pretty appearance to kill. so yknow the second i saw it i was like yup. pinkza

—Grayza (greyza?? i forgot sob) is the only flightless colorza, i thought it would be funny cos he’s this eldritch horror but he’s the only land bound one haha, also ayem cemani is death omen chicken in my head. and for his flightless animal, he’s a snake he’s very much a snake what do you want from me he’s just a snake

anmd i don’t want to think about whiteza until im done with these dont make me think about whiteza

Y'all like this one so lemme actually put some thought into the designs.

Fairy AU!!! couple of my thoughts under the cut

So the jobs and descriptions of everybody.

Benrey is a butterfly who is an Illusionist fairy. He's supposed to ward off crows and such to stop them from eating seeds and destroying the garden. Makes sure it's secure... like a security guard HGKJDF. He also uses this power to bully Gordon obviously and keeps making him think he's a bad gardener. Benrey is also the only one to sneak into Gordon's house, that's why he has a piece of cloth for clothes and a thimble hat instead of a leaf or something everyone else has.

Tommy is a bumble bee that takes care of all the garden, pollenating and watering them. She's a gardening fairy yippee!! She's the one that has to deal with Benrey's nonsense the most cus she has to make sure the flowers didn't actually die GHKDJG. He always has pollen on him :]

Bubby is a bat who is a crossing guard. HONESTLY RAN OUT OF JOBS WHEN I GOT TO HIM BUT I LIKE IT NOW ACUTALLY FJFHKSF. He's supposed to guide the bugs and critter in the garden around to make sure they're doing what they need to be doing and don't ruin anything. He's there just to boss people around. He also has that vest cus Benrey gave it to him, other than that he's wearing blue petals underneath and has boots made out of hardened mud.

Coomer is a rolypoly that works in the soil! He's just there to use his big ole arms to dig around and keep the soil loose and rich. Him and Bubby interact the most cus Coomer leads the digging bugs and Bubby makes sure those bugs are doing what they need to do.

I haven't drawn Darnold, Forzen, or Gman but I think Darnold would still be making potions and he makes fertilizers and maybe even meal for everyone. Forzen would probably just be a messenger that goes around and sees everyone briefly. I also think he'd be a grasshopper. and Gman is the mayor or whatever DKGHDFKG. oh and sunkist is a regular bee that follows tommy around :]. I may draw them later.

|Who is Morpheus?|

Morpheus: The Shaper , The Lorekeeper, The One Who Forms, The Raven Haired One and The King of Dreams and Nightmares. Morpheus usually appears in the guse of a human or in the form you are most comfortable with( (he appears to me as Dream of the Endless but with slightly altered features). He is the black winged leader of The Oneiroi, which are the thosuand dream spirits who slumber within the same cave as Hypnos their father. Through the gates of horn and ivory, they fly out like a flock of bats . The gate of horn is said to bring truthful dreams while the gate of ivory is said to bring falsehoods. The Odyssey located the realm of dreams past the streams of Oceaus close to Asphodel Meadows, which is a part of the underworld where the spirits of the dead reside. They are all winged in a way(winged ears or wings on their backs) when not appearing in dreams. He has two other named Oneiroi siblings known as Icelus/Phobetor who is the fearsome one of Nightmares who appears as animals and monsters in dreams and Phantasos the oddly whimsical one who appears as objects in his fantastically woven dreams..the rest of the Oneiroi are unnamed..

|Mythology|

Morpheus sadly does not appear in many myths but some speculate that he was the nameless dream spirit that Hypnos sent out to the grieving Alcyone whose husband Ceyx died at sea after a visit from Iris(who was sent by Hera) goddess of rainbows. Morpheus appeared in her dreams, taking the shape of her dead lover to tell her that he perished at sea. But Alcyone, after seeing her husband's corpse wash up on the shore, couldn't bear this news and tried to end her life, but she and her husband got turned into kingfishers. Also, a neoclassical painting by Pierre- Narcisse Guérin portrays Iris coming within the dark cave, filling it with blinding radiance, and apparently, she also stirs up Morpheus from his slumbers.

|My Experience|(*UPG)

Morpheus is my patron deity, who is like a father to me. He apparently had been watching over me ever since I was little but did not introduce himself until the time was right. Morpheus, to me, appears as Dream of The Endless from The Sandman but with wings. Sometimes, he has dark, inky eyes and wild hair like in the comics or looks more like Tom Sturridge in Netflix's The Sandman. Morpheus is very serious and quiet(I'm like that as well lol) but is very sweet and overprotective as well. He has infinite patience, apparently, which is even more impressive considering I work also with the loud and loveably obnoxious Icelus who is his chaotic brother. He sees me as one of his children and student being a no nonsense mentor and father figure...unlike a certain someone I know who kept messing around by picking The Emperor knowing Morpheus already took that option while we were trying to establish a tarot card for him. His energy is so gentle and calming, making him very helpful if one has anxiety (like me) or trouble sleeping. He likes to hum and give snuggles to me or to the various plushies I have set out for him (I have two squishy unicorns that are filled to bursting with his energy due to him smothering them). I have no words for how freaking grateful I am to have such a lovely deity as my patron!

Note

What would be the best animal for a kwami with the power of invisiblity? Or one for disguise (that not the fox)?

For my list, I got Tiger for invisibility (Prowl).

Butterfly I have for full physical transformation/disguise, playing off butterfly/moth camouflage (Modifly is the current name).

Now if you want recommendations in general, Chameleon is solid for invisibility, as well as Leopard.

And for disguises, Bat and Crow/Raven are also known for transformation and trickery. There's also the Tanuki too.

Alright, so we have more Bayo 3 discussion courtesy of an anon submission, but I'm actively putting it under a read more, not putting anything in tags, and tagging it as SPOILERS while also writing SPOILERS here.

*** Ok, so you're basically the only person I know about who talks Bayo and has some good thoughts, and actually knows about the games. (None of my friends play it.) And I thought I could muse and ask you about my thoughts. While I already love Bayo3, it almost feels a lot more limiting than the old games in terms of weapons and combat, which I know sounds weird. In 1+2 I went ham with different weapon combos, because crow/panther+snake-within being separate from the weapons, you could do anything without worrying it might impact your speed (panther) or dicking around (crow). Now it feels like I have to choose between a demon form, or a weapon I like, which has ended up with me having stuck with the default-Guns, who're kinda weak, since the start, and the Yo-yos. Guns because Butterfly is the most useful and controllable demon when doing jumps, and Yo-yo because they do get good damage, but the Spider-demon masquerade is needed in a lot of the collectible hunting. Some demon-Masquerade forms also feel kinda awkward and unwieldy, like the Conductor demon-form, where I feel like I get stuck any time I try to move quickly in small passages. Also, I mourn that they did away with the mix'n'match weapon options: I remember you could have a different weapons for the hands and feet: Ie: Gun heels, and holding the Alraune-Whip. Which now isn't possible anymore. I almost wish that choosing demon-forms had been it's own thing removed from the weapons, like with the summons, so that I could just choose the demon forms I need, and have the option to mix'n'match the weapons. (maybe switch demon forms by pressing the L-bumper? Weapon switch stays on LZ-trigger.) Anyway, here's my question: basically, what do you think? Do you feel like I'm overreacting or is this criticism that makes sense? Do you think there could have been a way to include mix'n'match and choosing your own demon forms or something? Your own thoughts?

Would you know that, with everything else going on, I didn't realize that 'oh, wait, I can't do weapon combos' until you pointed it out.

But, yeah, that does seem like a shortsight that they tried to compensate for with the mid-combat weapon-switch mechanic.

I'm going to be real with you: I never used the Conductor, Baal, or The Gomorrah one, or the Bat in regards to the other demon forms. 'Wait, but there's a tutorial where you have to use the Gomorrah one' I was so confused during that part that I just flailed around until I ended up breaking the wall with kicks and punches.

The main weapons that I used through most of the game were the Buns and the Yo-Yo. And that only changed near the end of the game when I got the fans so then it changed to Yo-Yo/Fans.

I think, overall, they were trying to shove so much into the game for one final hoorah as well as giving a multitude of choices that they sacrificed some of the choices we had in previous games.

If it were up to me, though: Yes, I would have had a full layout custom menu of 'Hand Weapons/Feet Weapons/Masquerade'

I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me through the tall grass, between tree and toadstool, past owl, crow and spiders. This woods was dark but there was nowhere left now to go. The village wanted nothing to do with me. My family burnt. I was all alone. With little hope to survive the night. I found a little spot close by a trees edge to hopefully huddle myself in to try and get some rest.

"Girl. What are you doing here?" A voice asked I looked up and saw the tall woman in a long black coat with a raven on her shoulder she was heavily pregnant and looked down on me with an evil look

"I'm sorry i-"

"What are you doing here?" She asks again

"I have nowhere else to go" I cried

"What's wrong?" She asks coming down to my level

"They burnt my family, our home. They banished me away. I can only run so far. I don't know where else to go"

"Come with me" she says

"You - you mean it?'

"Come. I may have a use for you" she says helping me to my feet.

She lead me through the woods to a small cottage full of dark items… I was fearful at first but overtime she showed me they meant no harm at least not to me. I cleaned, cooked, did lots of little things for her many of which she was unable to do as her stomach grew more and more. She allowed me to sleep In a small bed in the kitchen but I didn't mind a roof and food was more luck than I deserved often on full moons she would be gone for long periods of time but I didn't question her.

"Y/n. Come" she said getting her basket of things

"Yes miss" I nodded hurrying with her she lead me though the woods for what felt like hours til we arrived at a tall weeping willow tree

"Remain silent. And don't run" she demanded I nodded and follow her as she stepped inside beyond the leaves finding a small alter with a black candle burning a black flame she knelt there giving the alter offerings before returning to her feet. She waited staring at the tree I was confused about to speak when suddenly a hellish creature emerged from behind the tree skin as black as coal, wings like a harsh bat, and teeth of a wolf I wanted to scream but she meerly stood still. "I want to speak to him,"

"He's busy"

"I will not be fobbed off with those excuses Malawi. I demand to see him. Tonight"

He moved closer to her but still she stood strong licking his lips "you demand. Do ya? What makes you think you can demand anything of… the master"

"I must see him. I am his bride. If ever that meant anything to him he will see me tonight."

"Pass your message in the usual channels and get back to work"

"I will not tend the candle."

"What!'

"I will not tend the candle. Not a day more. Until he sees me."

The creature went back behind the tree dispersing as quickly as he came we waited in a hushed silence until a man emerged…

He was… admittedly handsome as soon as I saw him I felt butterflies in my stomach. He was tall. Thin. A head of blonde hair. In tight pants, boots and doing up a loose shirt buttoning it as he emerged. He leant on the tree running a hand thought his hair and sighing

"What do you want Elizabeth?"

"To see the husband I haven't seen in twenty years"

"I've been busy." He snapped "you only wanna see me when you want something. I've got enough work to do. I can't be at your beck and call all night Lizzy"

"And yet you expect me to fuel and guard your candle all moons?"

"That's your job isn't it!" He yelled but pulled back as he noticed me "who's she?"

"My assistant. Nothing more" she says "now can I give you my message or not"

"Fine. What do you have to say?"

"... I renounce my position" she said and as she did everything froze. The air. The grass. The candles flame stopped as of frozen in time his stern face melted before he spoke

"You don't mean that"

"I do." She says "I have been your bride Thomas. For sixty four years. I have seen you four times since our wedding. You never speak with me. Send your demons to do your dirty work"

"I can-"

"It's not just that. I've lived a long time Thomas… long enough." She says "I have found a man on this earth who wishes to spend his every moment with me it'll be a shorter life but a better one. I am already with child. My mind is made up"

"I understand." He nods "for what it's worth… I'm sorry. You were a fine witch. An a fine bride to me."

"Thank you" she smiled "I relinquish, the ring. The union and crown. To live a mortal life." She says

"I accept you departure" he nods and the moment he uttered those words wind began again the candle turned white still burning it's black flame but lower then before

"But… I will not leave your candle to extinguish"

"No?"

"Y/n" she says bringing me close "I leave my position to her if she wants it."

"Do you?"

"I… uhh" I stuttered unsure what was happening

"She's too young." He says "perhaps she'll accept in time." He says before coming to my level holding my hand as he did she left leaving us alone together "do you know… who I am?"

"I don't I'm sorry -"

"It's alright. My name is Thomas. I rule the world beyond this one. Master of magic. Darkness. Fear. And evil. King of all demons."

I gasped

"Does that frighten you?"

"... You don't frighten me"

"You're sweet. Brave. For such a little girl." He says "this tree is one of many. The wells of power for me in this world but also doors for those who's time has come. This candle must burn or my power will fade."

"But your power is evil"

"True. But I bring balance. All light needs a shadow little one. With or without me there will be evil. We just ensure its where it should be"

"What does that mean for me?"

"If you take up the reins of your predecessor you will gain her powers. And her responsibilities. Endless magic. Endless life. All for just a little bit of care for my candle that all I ask"

"That's all?"

"That's all. Keep my candle burning, be one of my witches"

"Do i-"

"No. You have time to decide my dear. My candle will burn without our intervention until your eighteenth birthday. I will need to know by then" he says "until then. If you can spare some flowers, a bit of bread that would be much appreciated" he says giving my head a kiss before he disappeared behind the tree

I wasn't sure how to feel so I left headed back to the cottage but I found it empty no sign of her things only a note

"The house is yours now. Use it well. Take your time to ponder his proposal. Being one of his witches isn't as glamorous as it sounds"

I kept up the little cottage and did as he asked of me bringing things to the tree whenever I could, until the day came when I had to decide even if I had known my answer for years. I walked across the woods to the tall tree leaving my offerings and caring for the candle when I saw him appear from behind the tree as last I saw him having not aged a day. He saw me and looked confused looking me up and down as I stood

"I… uhhh" he said very confused looking around a little "y/n?" He asks careful

"Yes" I blushed

"Y/n!" He said in shock "holy hell. I uhhh hi"

"Hi, I've been taking care of the candle as you asked. And I have made my decision honestly I made it quiet a while ago" o explained but he just stood leaning his elbow on the tree and his hand on his face looking at me with a wide smile

"Hum? Oh right." He nods shaking himself out of his head "sorry you uhhh you grew up"

"I did" I blushed

"You look beautiful" he smiled"but you were saying? About a decision?"

"Yes. I would like to care for the candle. And the tree. And the magic."

"You would? Truly?"

"Yes"

"You know what that entails?'

"I do"

I nodded and read over the paper trying to learn it so I didn't have to read directly

"I swear. Before the full moon light. That I will mind the candle as long as it burns. My life and it's flame are one in the same. I will be a guardian of this secret place for all of my time."

"I accept you as my newest witch" he nods and as he did the flame sparked up higher then I had ever seen it the wax turning blue "do you take me. In full knowledge of what I am. To be my bride. For now and all moons to come"

"I… I do"

"You swear to keep our magic and our… relationship a secret from the world for all of your life?"

"I will"

"If ever you want to leave me. You have only to renounce your magic. But it all goes, me, the magic, your immortal life, all of it. And you will mean nothing more to me then any other human when your time comes"

"I accept" I nodded offering my hand he took it stroking my wrist running his hand across my own leaving a devilish mark on my skin

"Then may I kiss my bride?"

"You may" I blushed he smiled and leant down to gently kiss me I happily kissed him back leaving us nuzzled together kissing for quiet a while till he pulled back

"Whoa… your my new favorite" he Cooes

"How many brides do you have?" I asked tenderly

"Uhhh you're thirteen. I think. I need to see a couple actually I think they might be leaving me"

"Oh I'm sorry'

"It's fine happens. But so long as I still have you I don't mind" he smiled giving me another kiss "I won't mind at all" he smirked looking at my dress "I need to get back to work I'm afraid"

"That's okay, your busy"

"Not to busy for my little bride. I'll visit when I can I promise" he says "and as we're now married, I got you something, to keep you company while i'm gone" he says disappearing behind the tree but returning seconds later with a small black kitten in his arms "go on then, go to your new mummy" he smiled letting the little kitten wonder over to me so I picked him up

"Awwww he's adorable'

"He's all yours. I'm sure you'll take good care of him" he smiled

"Does he have a name?"

"Whatever you want to came him,"

"Hummm smokey"

"Perfect. You two look after each other" he says giving my head and the cats head a kiss "ohh and I almost forgot" he says clicking his fingers and suddenly appeared a dark old book "your spell book my little witch. Take care of it. It'll update itself as needed."

"Thank you"

"You're welcome. Now I'll see you soon. I promise" he smiled giving me one last kiss before heading behind the tree and disappearing.

Been brainstorming a bit more about what animals to base all the different Eggs' dragon designs after, 'cause I really like how Tallulah and Chayanne's looked in my previous drawing :]

Overall they will all mostly look like dragons, but small things like face structure, body structure, tail, pattern, if they have fur or scales or something else, and/or if they have horns, ears and things like that will be determined by the animals that's gonna be mixed into their design.

For example: Tallulah's got a mix of farm animals (mostly cows tho') into her overall design, and has the pattern (and maybe the back fin and/or tail, idk yet) of an orca, which will hopefully be more noticeable if I do a full body drawing of her lol. Meanwhile, Chayanne's a mix of a goat (the horns + I'm thinking of giving him the tail of a goat qvq it's very cute), and will also be either a mix of both a duck and a crow, or just crow. Unsure yet if I want the duck floatie to be just an accessory, or if I should maybe make his hind legs have webbed feet like a duck while his front legs have crow feet.

For the other Eggs, I still don't have everyone set in stone. Like:

For Dapper, I only got black cat on the list, but I miiight add bat too. Idk yet.

With Ramon, I do want him to have some alligator features, but idk what else. A small part of me wants to add catfish just 'cause it would be funny lol. Or I could go with something "octopus-esque" 'cause of the meature (I know the mob doesn't have egg legs, but it still reminds me of an octopus ajkshfaksh) and let Ramon have either 4 front legs or 4 hind legs, and then two tails instead of one so he has 8 limbs all together. But idk.

As for Leo, she definitely gonna have some shark features (the back fin, probably the tail, and maybe the pattern of a leopard shark? idk yet), and more than likely will have some bull terrier features (mostly the face, ears, and maybe the pattern if I don't go for the leopard shark pattern).

Richarlyson I know I want to have highland bull mixed into his design, 'cause of the mushroom helmet + those bull breeds got so much fur it covers their eyes, which just seemed fitting due to most of people's design of Richas :] As for what else to mix in... idk o(-(

Pomme I'm struggling a bit to figure out. I have put down butterfly, so she could have antennas + her butterfly wings (or at least something like her butterfly wings, idk yet if I'm gonna give any of them full-ish wings), but idk what else to mix her with orz

I knew for Sunny, I wanted at least an animal that represented the sun + give her the pattern of a tiger ('cause of her cat hat she wore). And one animal that represented the sun was a ram, which I immediately chose since Tubbo is the one spending most of the time with her, and I still kinda HC him as either a goat or a ram hybrid.

Besides having the pattern and maybe some features of a calico cat, idk what other animal to mix into Empanada's design o(-( Ayayay

Pepito seemed pretty set in stone for me. Having some mix of axolotl, maybe a hint of duck, and more than likely the pattern of some sort of spider into his dragon design :]

It will probably be a while before I even try to attempt drawing these designs, but hey, gives me plenty of time to find out what other animals to mix into the design of some of these Eggs uvu

Also, I probably won't write down any design ideas for Tilin, Juana Flippa, Trump and Bobby since I just don't know enough about them orz I sadly started watching the QSMP quite a few months after those four passed.

kinda re: that last reblog,

my yard is the Hot Spot for neighborhood wildlife and it is 100% because of my mom's eight gardens. EIGHT! GARDENS! Eight gardens, and six trees, five of which are fully mature. And in combination with the fact that our property borders what's basically the last sliver of forest left in the neighborhood.

And as much as I would rather not have a lawn at all, I'm grateful at least for the way my mom's eight mature gardens and five mature trees and one baby tree provides food and shelter for soooooooo much wildlife, most of which is native to the region. Like, the biodiversity in my yard is amaaaazing. we've got

And it's soooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO gratifying to actually see these creatures using the gardens and the things that grow in them. There are big bushes that birds build nests in every single year. There are trees where spiders are guaranteed to snag a meal when they build their webs between their favorite branches. Each species of bird has carved out its own lil territory for foraging. The small animals alert each other to the presence of the hawks when they hang out on their favorite perch high up on a dead tree. Bald faced hornets chase intruders away from their preferred food sources. mason bees gnaw holes in the wood of dead or dying trees and lay their eggs inside. The deer feel safe enough to leave their babies up on the hill under the cherry blossom tree.

It's soooooo beautiful, all the things that happen around you when there's more than just grass and maybe an ornamental tree in your yard.

Pairings: Rengoku Kyojurou x gn! hashira! reader

Warnings: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train spoilers!

A/N: I saw the new KNY movie, so I wrote this fic to cope with the pain.

plot: what if you were there just in time to save him?

You knew something was off from the moment Oyakata-sama gave Rengoku the mission of slaying the demons on board the train, not that you disagree on his judgment, but your intuition tells you that something bad would happen.

And some of your intuitions were never wrong.

So you requested to go in disguise, in case anything goes sideways. You have explained the situation to Oyakata-sama, who actually agreed with your proposal, after all those years you had your "predictions", most of them actually came true.

So you sent your crow after them, obscured from the eyes of civilians, but still visible to you. You waited. But then the incident happened, as the ticket inspector punched your card. Your head felt dizzy and you fell asleep.

You dreamt of a life with your family again.

It was warm and happy.

*timeskip*

By the time you woke up, it was chaos. You sluggishly stood up, everyone was still asleep. The train was shaky and the walls had seemed to turn into a flesh-like substance. You heard explosions and the train turned sideways. You unsheathed your blade and stabbed it into the floor to maintain your footing. You could hear your crow pecking at the windows.

"Attention! Upper Rank Three Demon has been spotted! Rengoku and the younger slayers are battling him as we speak." It squawked. You groaned as you pulled out your blade and sheathed it into your scabbard. "Where are they now, Hideyoshi?" you asked it. "Few kilometers west from here!" It squawked again. You thanked it before dashing off to where they were.

*3rd person*

Tanjiro and Inosuke were watching the fight with awe and also fear. In awe, because they have never seen a hashira in battle like this before and in fear because Rengoku was heavily injured and was still fighting. They were both afraid to join in because Tanjiro was injured and they were moving at a speed that the two of them can keep up.

They could see that Rengoku's movement was getting more powerful at every strike he made, Tanjiro gulped. "Goddamn it!" He thought, if only he could do something, anything but to watch the person he looked up to get destroyed like this. He prayed to the skies above that someone could help them.

And the skies answered him, like a flash of light passed by him and Inosuke. The person seemed to be glowing with light. He recognized you, you were one of the hashira's, you were sitting on the tree with the serpent hashira, Obanai.

He thanked the skies for answering his prayers.

*Back to your POV*

In the distance, you could see the flames coming off Rengoku's breathing styles and you could smell the blood in the air. You pushed yourself to move faster. You sped through the two younger slayers and attacked the demon.

"Y/N! What are you doing here?!" You heard Rengoku said as he dodged another attack from the demon. "Ah? Another Hashira I see, you're as strong as Kyojuro! Maybe even stronger!" The demon said as he shifted his attention toward you. You were his target now. "Now is not the time, Kyojuro!" You said, moving into position.

"Breath of Light, First Form: Aureate." You said, your sword turned a bright golden color as you swung your attack at him. It sliced through his arm, the demon yelped. You saw that he was struggling to regenerate. He looked at you, burning in fury and wonder. "So you ARE stronger than him, wow, I have never seen anything like this! I'm Akaza." He laughed.

After a few moments, his arms regenerated. You stood beside Rengoku. "He's badly injured." You noted. "His eye is crushed, broken ribs, internal bleeding." You thought. It amazed you how he still managed to move right now. "Kyojuro, take it easy okay? I got this." You assured him, giving him a small smile.

"Join me, Y/N! Become a demon and let us fight with each other forever!" You heard Akaza say. You growled. "As if I become a filthy demon like you!" You shouted at him. "You are incredibly strong, you would be perfect among our ranks, join us." He said. "Never." You said. "So be it!" He said, charging towards you. "Breath of Light-" "Breath of Flames-" The both of you said. "Combined attack: Blazing Light!" A light that could rival the sun shone from both of your attacks.

He tried to dodge it, but it was too powerful. The lower part of his torso was wiped clean. You smirked and walked towards Rengoku and the two children.

Your eyes widened.

You felt pain shot up your spine. You coughed up blood. "Y/N!" Rengoku screamed. You looked down to see Akaza had punched you.

Hard.

"You ass-" You spitted blood on his face. Making him take a few steps back to regain his senses, you distanced yourself from him. You gripped on your sword tightly. Blood streamed out from your lips and dripped into the ground. You could see Rengoku came running toward you. You held out your hand to stop him. "No." you thought. You can finish him, and you will.

You sprinted, sword beside you, with an intent to kill. "Breath of Light, Third Form: Fluorescence." Your sword glowed again, even brighter. You slowly take in your breath, successfully maintaining your breathing technique. You could feel your internal bleeding stop.

Akaza didn't have any time to react when your blade met his neck. It pierced halfway through, before getting stuck. "It's stuck!" You turned your head, to look at Rengoku. "Kyojuro!" You called out. He looked at you knowingly. He took his sword. "Breath of Flames, Ninth Form: Rengoku!" He dashed to where you're standing. Akaza laughed and gave you another punch.

CRACK!

It was your ribs.

You coughed out more blood. Rengoku looked at you worriedly. "Don't stop! Keep going, Kyo!" You said to him.

"Breath of Light, Fifth form: Dawn." You said. You gave your sword a push, as Rengoku's met yours. Akaza screamed in pain. "Die!" you shouted. You watched as his body start to disintegrate. "It was a pleasure, batting with you both." You heard him say before he dissolved into the air.

You staggered. Dropping your sword before collapsing to the ground. You looked up to the sky. You could hear the footsteps of the two slayers. "Hang in there!" said the burgundy-haired boy. You felt arms helping you up, it was Rengoku. "You scared me a little. I thought you were gonna die," he whispered. You chuckled. "You think I would be defeated that easily? Dream on." You said, breathlessly.

"Are you kids okay?" You asked. "Kamado-boy over here is injured," Rengoku said. "And boar boy?" You asked again. "I'm perfectly fine." He said cockily.

"Let go home, okay?" you said.

*timeskip*

You and Rengoku reached the Butterfly Estate after getting the civilians somewhere safe. Lying down on the bed, Shinobu came in with bandages and medicine. "Well, the both of you look like you went through hell and back." She said. "We technically did." You groaned as she wrapped the bandages around you.

"How's Rengoku, is he okay?" You asked. "He's fine. Like you said, crushed eye, three broken ribs, and internal bleeding." She said. "And the Kamado boy?" "He'll make it, he's lucky that he stopped the bleeding in time." She said.

"How bad is mine?" You asked her. "Two broken ribs, bruised torso, and a fractured ankle." She said. "It surprises me, how your body could withstand those punches." "Try training with Sanemi. It's hell." You chuckled.

"You and Rengoku will be off duty until your injuries healed completely. No sneaking around." She warned. "Yes, ma'am," You said before drinking the medicine she brought earlier. A knock came from outside. "Come in." You said.

Rengoku came in. "Hey, Shinobu!" He said, brightly. "Rengoku, your not suppose to move, you'll strain your injuries." She said. "But I wanted to see my Y/NNNN~" He whined. "Fine, fine. I'll leave you two lovebirds be," she said, leaving the room.

"So..." You said. He turned around, cupped your face, and gave a passionate kiss. "Wow, what was that for?" You whispered.

"I almost lost you today."

"Kyo, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not leaving you."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Ryan, Sophie & Mary go to the beach.

“She gives you butterflies” - A Wildmoore fanfic

“Oh my GAWD, why is it so freakin hot!” Sophie whined. Sophie was lying on Mary and Ryan’s couch with her head on one end and her legs perched up on Ryan’s lap. Ryan had her head thrown back with her hand over her face and Mary was lying on her stomach on the floor and she had a cold rag draped over her neck.

“Well you could take you butt back to your own place, having one less body here would probably make it less hot.” Ryan shot Sophie a glance. And Sophie hit Ryan with a pillow. Ryan was too hot to retaliate.

“My place is just as hot and it has no trees or areas of shade! It’s not my fault the power went out all over town. And hey, you’re Batwoman, why don’t you go find what happened and fix it or something?” Mary rolled her eyes but didn’t look at Sophie and Ryan. She now understood that this was Ryan and Sophie’s way of flirting with each other. At first when they bickered like this and were mean to each other, she thought they really hated one another- and they probably did. But somewhere along the line they started to hate each other less and hang out more. But that didn’t stop the tension. Mary wanted to ask one of them what was going on but she also wasn’t so sure they themselves even understood it. So for now she was comfortable just letting them be annoyingly flirty and oblivious.

“I’ve got it!!” Mary exclaimed and sat up quickly. Glee on her face. Sophie and Ryan both turned their heads expectantly at Mary, waiting for whatever their genius doctor friend had to say.

“Swimming! We should totally go swimming!” Mary waited for Sophie and Ryan to leap with delight at her brilliant idea. That didn’t exactly happen. Ryan and Sophie silently communicated with each other through their eyes- something they started doing a lot lately. Mary patiently waited, watching the cute faces they were making at each other.

“Ok fine.” Ryan said. Mary had not heard any exchange but based on Ryan’s tone, Sophie thought the swimming was a great idea and Ryan did not. But Sophie had convinced Ryan to go along with it. Mary wouldn’t admit this out loud to anyone but she liked watching the dynamic between Ryan and Sophie. She would be jealous of their connection if she didn’t suspect the two had feelings for each other. While she sometimes felt like a 3rd wheel, she knew that what those two had was developing into something deeper than friendship. She sometimes wanted to get Alice in the same room and have her start psychoanalyzing the pair.

“Oh come on Ryan, this is gonna be fun. Beside it’s hot as hell, don’t you wanna get wet?” As soon as the words left Sophie’s mouth, Sophie felt her cheeks get warm. She prayed Ryan would let it go.

“You know what Soph, I do want to get wet, but there are other ways that I can make that happen.” Ryan smirked at Sophie and gave her a suggestive look. Then she replaced that look with her wide signature smile, the one she knew Sophie couldn’t resist. Sophie cracked a smile.

“Somebody needs to get fucked.” Sophie said.

“I’m not the only one.” Ryan shot back. Sophie’s eye brows raised.

“OKAY! Sophie, let’s stop by your place on the way there and you can grab your suit. They said power would be back on in a few hours so hopefully when we come back all our food isn’t rotten. Grab some snacks and water that you have. Ryan go grab your shit that you need from your room and I’ll get what I need.” Mary enjoyed Ryan and Sophie’s dynamic but she didn’t need to hear them making sex comments towards each other. She also didn’t need them to bone each other right in her presence. Maybe going to the beach with these two hormonal teenagers was not one of her more genius ideas after all.

Scene 2: The Beach++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“Come on you slow asses!” Sophie called from the water. She apparently was a mermaid in her past life and she loved the water. Mary and Ryan were in a spot in the sand that was partially covered by shade.

“We’ll be down in a second!’ Mary shouted back at Sophie, then watched her dive under the water and then resurface, dive under, and resurface. The sun sparkled on the water around Sophie, and Mary lifted her eyes to look at the sky. It was a gorgeous day. Beside her, Ryan was putting on sunblock, pretending not to be interested in watching Sophie. Mary decided maybe now was a good time to just put the idea in Ryan’s head. Or at least show Ryan support. Ryan was a very proud person and her relationship with Sophie and the crows had been, rocky. To put it lightly. Even though Sophie was no longer with the crows, Mary knew how hard it was for Ryan to finally let Sophie in.

“You know, it’s alright if you like her.” Mary started off slowly, she didn’t want to piss Ryan off and make the whole day uncomfortable. Ryan visibly stiffened and then relaxed.

“Who?” Ryan went for acting like she didn’t know what or who Mary was referring to. Mary rolled her eyes.

‘Ryan, you are not that good of an actor first of all. Sophie found out you were Batwoman in point 5 seconds. So let’s leave the acting to Viola Davis, shall we?” Ryan didn’t say anything. Mary tried again.

“Sophie. Ryan, I’m talking about Sophie. It’s ok if you like her. You know like, like her like her.” Ryan was quiet for a second.

“I can’t like a crow Mary. Me and Soph are friends now and that’s it. Do I think she’s pretty, of course, I have eyes. But that would never work.” Ryan clapped the top onto the sunblock and stared out at Sophie. Ryan felt butterflies in her stomach and she absentmindedly put her hand over her belly. She didn’t realize Mary was watching.

“She gives you butterflies.” Mary stated matter-of-factly, she had followed Ryan’s gaze that was still trained on Sophie. They were quiet for a few moments and then Ryan looked at Mary.

“She gives me the whole damn zoo.” Ryan finally said. Mary laughed and shoulder bumped Ryan. “Tell her.” Mary said softly. Ryan gave Mary a, bitch are you serious, look.

“I’m not telling Sophie shit. It’s just a crush, besides I just ended things with Imani, it would be weird to just jump into another relationship. And she already was suspicious of me and Sophie.” Ryan sounded like she was trying to convince herself. “Besides, a crow? Ew.”

“Kay, Sophie is not with the crows anymore, stop using that as an excuse. Second, Luke told me you hated having to keep your Bdub identity from Imani. Just think you wouldn’t have to hide that from Sophie because she already knows.”

“I already know what?” Sophie had walked up on the pair as they were deep in conversation and had lost Sophie among the sea of beach goers; they had not realized she’d gotten out of the water until she was in their face. Ryan changed the subject quickly.

“Um you already know that I can win in a foot race to the water.” Ryan knew that was a weak cover but she hoped Sophie would let it slide. She played on Sophie’s competitive side.

“Girl, now I know you’s a damn lie.” Sophie said. Ryan chuckled and she stood up.

“Ready set go!” Ryan counted off fast and took off running trying to get the advantage of starting off early. Sophie’s longer legs had no issue keeping up with Ryan. They got to the edge of the water and Sophie grabbed Ryan from behind and lifted her. Sophie spun them around and they both went crashing into the water. They wrestled and tussled for a bit. Touching each others mid sections playfully and letting fingers and hands roam and linger longer than what was appropriate for people who were just friends. Mary watched on from her spot in the sand with vivid fascination.

“You know I won, right?” Sophie said slightly out of breath from the running and then the rough housing. They were now wading a little over waist deep in the water. Sophie was half a foot taller than Ryan so the water wasn’t covering her as much. She shivered. Ryan instinctively reached out and put her hands on Sophie. She knew it would not warm her up but she wanted an excuse to touch her again. She started on Sophie’s arms and then put her hands on Sophie’s waist and slowly pulled her closer. It was weird being this close to Sophie, it felt intimate. But natural. Comfortable. Right. Sophie looked down into Ryan’s eyes with a bit of a question mark circling her orbs but she let Ryan continue. Ryan had these deep chocolate brown puppy dog eyes that Sophie could never get enough of and right now they were melting fires into Sophie’s own. She contemplated saying something, but she didn’t know what and she didn’t want to interrupt whatever was happening between them. She thought that if she spoke that maybe this spell would be broken. Suddenly, Ryan pulled herself up slowly and kissed Sophie on her neck. It was one of the sexist kisses that Sophie had ever experienced. She buried her head into Ryan and felt Ryan’s soft wet lips kiss and suck and then give a little bat bite. Then it was over and Ryan pulled back. Sophie’s looked at Ryan, not sure of what was going to happen next. She let Ryan take the lead because she seemed determined.

“I’ve wanted to do that for so long.” Ryan simply said. And then she laughed and put her head against Sophie’s chest. Almost embarrassed now by her own bravado. Sophie wrapped her arms around Ryan and they stood there like that, holding each other. Not fully understanding the magnitude of the situation, but also not wanting to make a big deal or extravagant gestures and speeches. Suddenly they both got drenched with a huge wave. They looked around to see who the culprit was and their eyes landed on Mary who was smirking. They both splashed her back and they all screamed and shouted playfully, trying to see who could splash the other with the most water.

“I told you guys the beach would be littyyy,” Mary said cheerfully.

‘Yeah yeah.” Sophie and Ryan both said in unison.

“Oh also, I better not catch you two having sex on the couch.” Mary splashed Ryan and Sophie and then quickly dived under the water. Ryan and Sophie’s mouths hung open, and they slowly looked at one another, then back at Mary who was getting further away. Sophie thought she heard Ryan mutter, “can’t make any promises” as they raced to catch up with their friend.
