AN: My first fic about Woozi would have this much drama lmao. I'm strongly considering turning this into a series because I have a tonne of ideas floating around in my mind of where I'd like to take this. Shoutout to Breathe by GOT7 for the title.

Synopsis: Jihoon is utterly in love with you. Too bad you're into his friend Soonyoung, and he's too much of a coward to ever tell you how he feels. He's happy to take his feelings to the grave but soon finds that his body doesn't agree with his decision.

Heads up: Lee Jihoon x Fem! Reader, Kwon Soonyoung x Fem! Reader (but, not actually), assumed unrequited love, a tonne of angst and pining on Woozi's end, Hanahaki disease AU, Non-Idol AU, mentions of crying and coughing up blood.

Jihoon watches you talk to Soonyoung with what he hopes is nonchalance. Something awful constricts in his chest when he notices your hand rest on his arm, and you laugh particularly hard at whatever his friend says. Usually Jihoon wouldn't be this overly analytical about anyone's movements, but he just can't seem to help himself when it comes to you.

His eyes always find you without fail. You draw him like a magnet. Jihoon isn't sure when he fell for you. When he looks back on the progression of his feelings, he thinks it happened gradually. One day you were just a friend Seungkwan introduced to the group, and the next thing he knew, he was irrevocably in love with you. He's been too much of a coward to ever broach his feelings with you these past few months, and now he sees you slipping through his fingers.

You and Soonyoung have always been close. Your personalities simply clicked. There wasn't much else to it, so you were always practically attached at the hip. He just understood you better. Soonyoung is loud and confident and funny and affectionate, so many things Jihoon is not and will likely never be. Maybe that's why you seem to like him so much. More than anyone else in their friend group.

Jihoon finds it increasingly difficult to breathe when he notices you cuddling into Soonyoung's side, your boisterous conversation turning to hushed whispers that scream closeness and intimacy.

He knew his insecurities were getting the best of him. You spoke to Jihoon often, sometimes the two of you would spend hours alone in his studio simply talking. Occasionally he'd show you what he was working on and privately preen at your praise and carefully consider any criticism you offer up as well. Those were some of his most treasured moments with you.

You weren't his. You weren't in a relationship with him. He had no right to feel envious of Soonyoung, especially when he has never even tried to tell you how he feels. Still, feelings are irrational, and Jihoon cannot help his.

He fails to notice your eyes focusing on him when he excuses himself for the night, your brow furrowed in concern as you watch him hurriedly make his way to his room for the night.

Jihoon swallows down the tears and tries to remind himself to breathe when he's finally in the safety of bedroom, hurling himself on his bed. He was being overdramatic, he knew that, but he still couldn't bite back the tears as they fall down on his cheeks and begin to dot his pillow. He's pathetic.

It was getting difficult to breathe.

He felt like his insides were being shred into pieces as he laid here, wallowing in self-pity and self-deprecation. The feeling of his lungs constricting returns, more severe than last time. More determined to be felt by him.

He rushes to his bathroom, urgency leaving him without the presence of mind to even turn on the light. He nearly hits his head with how hurriedly he kneels over his toilet, clutching it desperately as he tries his best to get whatever is currently burning his insides out of his system.

This doesn't feel normally. Jihoon has thrown up before, and it's never felt like this.

It's never hurt like this.

Tears cascade down his face as he finally manages to get... whatever is causing this out of his body, the metallic tang of blood assaulting his taste buds. He coughs violently, worse than he's ever recalled doing in his life.

When the violent coughing fit subsides, Jihoon manages to open his bleary eyes to examine what the fuck just came out of him. He's stunned to see what he thinks are white chrysanthemum petals covered in his blood floating in the water below.

Having a baby with Bambam was easier said than done. JYP was informed and it seemed like all hell broke loose. The guys were in and out of many meetings with the higher ups, their comeback for their upcoming album Breath of Love: Last Piece was a mess and Bambam was never around. It was hard to find time for each other and you started to feel worse and worse about the situation with each passing day. Bambam would joke around and always laugh, but everyone could tell he was running on empty. Today was one of the rare days that you would be able to meet up with Bambam and you were worried. You had something that you needed to tell him, and you knew that it would break his heart.

You are running late, your hair was giving you a hard time today, so you decided to twist the front and leave the back out. You threw on a pink off the shoulder top, a black cropped leather jacket, ripped boyfriend jeans, white and silver lace up heels and silver square earring with a matching necklace. Your phone goes off and you quickly answer it seeing that it’s Bambam.

“Hey! I’m leaving my place now.”

Bambam laughs on the phone. “That’s fine doll. I’m leaving the studio shortly, so if you get there before me go head and order whatever yah?”

“Is everything okay?” You grab your purse and head out the door, locking it behind you.

“Yeah…it’s all good. I gotta go, I’ll see you in a bit.” Bambam hangs up and you sigh.

You drive to the restaurant and find a table far away from everyone else. It’s going to be an early dinner, Bambam had said that he wanted to eat a lot, so you both agreed on hot pot. You sit down and pull out your phone, browsing on Twitter and Instagram to pass the time. You order an ice water for yourself and a few appetizers to hold you over until Bambam comes. You pick at the food, not really in the mood to eat at all.

“Hey doll.” You lift your head and frown at Bambam’s appearance. He looks tired and overworked. He’s wearing black ripped jeans, a baggy green sweater, and black boots. Bambam sits next to you and kisses your cheek. “Hey lil man!” Bambam tickles your stomach, and you slap his hands away with a laugh.

“Will you stop that,” You shove Bambam’s shoulder, and he laughs.

“Did you already order?”

“Only what’s on the table.”

“Bet.” Bambam grabs a set of chopsticks and starts to dig into the food. “This is soooo good.” Bambam holds out his chopsticks and you take a bite of the food. It’s spicy and sweet, but you can’t swallow it. “Spit it out.” Bambam hands you a napkin and you turn away from him as you spit out the food. “He wasn’t feeling it?”

“No,” you frown and take a few sips of your water.

Bambam rubs your back and rests his hand on your knee. “Are you okay to eat here?” You nod your head and Bambam kisses your cheek. “Just take it slow, doll.”

Bambam follows you back to your place and the two of you head inside. Bambam locks the door and takes his shoes off setting them right next to yours. You head into the kitchen to grab drinks and Bam follows you.

“Are you spending the night?” You ask grabbing two bottles of water from the fridge.

“Do I have any clothes left here?”

You think about what’s in your room and nod your head, “I know for sure that I copped a few shirts…there are three pair of your shorts here too.”

Bambam raises an eyebrow and laughs, “Just taking all my shit huh?”

“You weren’t wearing it.” You shrug your shoulders and hand Bambam a bottle of water. You walk past him, and he grabs hold of your hand. “What?”

“What’s on your mind doll? You’ve been a little stand offish since the restaurant.”

You click your tongue and pull you hand free from Bambam, “How about you get settled than we can talk okay?”

Bambam goes to refuse, but you walk out of the kitchen before he can say anything. Sighing Bambam heads into the guest bathroom while you head into yours to shower. You take a quick shower and hop out. You wrap a towel around your body and step out into your room, jumping when you see Bambam sitting on the bed with a towel wrapped around his waist. You notice that your phone is on the bed next to Bambam instead of on the nightstand where you left it.

You heart fills with dread at you take a good look at Bambam’s profile, “Bam?”

Bambam shakes his head with a defeated sigh, “I got off the phone with your mom…” Bambam turns to face you and you bite your lip seeing his eyes misty with tears. “Going back to the States? How can you just up and leave?” Bambam’s voice is rough, he’s angry and hurt. “I thought we were going to make this work…why would you leave me?”

You walk over to the bed and sit beside Bambam, “You’re killing yourself babe. You look like shit and you’re spreading yourself too thin. I don’t want to be a burden on you.”

“Were you going to ask me what I wanted?” Bambam stares down at his hands, and you shake your head knowing that he can see you. Bambam’s laughter is dark and broken. “Get dressed…I-I want you to see something before you leave.”

Bambam grabs his clothes from your room and gets dressed quickly before he leaves. Sitting on the bed you groan and hold your head in your hands. Leave it to good ol’ Momma to ruin shit without knowing. You get dressed in a pair of pastel yellow sweats, a black tank top and the matching sweat jacket. Walking into the living room, you see Bambam on his phone typing away at the screen quickly. You clear you throat and Bambam stands up.

“Let’s go.” Bambam walks to the front door without looking back at you and you suck your teeth. You know Bambam would never hurt you, but you’re about fed up with his attitude…even though he has every right to be acting this way. You follow after Bambam and get into his car without a word. Bambam pulls out of your driveway and speeds through the streets. At a red light, Bambam glances at his phone and huffs before he types out a quick reply. The light turns green and Bambam pulls off, his grip on the steering wheel getting tighter and tighter. You keep one hand on your stomach, rubbing your thumb up and down as you stare out the window at the world.

You start to notice the buildings and your brows pull together in confusion when Bambam parks his car in the JYP parking lot. Bambam kills the engine and gets out, walking over to open the passenger side door for you. You get out and Bambam slams the car door shut before he grabs hold of your hand and leads you into the building.

“Am I allowed to be here after hours?”

“Don’t worry about it.” Bambam nods his head at the guards and head right to the elevators. The two of you wait in silence for the doors to open. One of the elevators opens and Bambam gently pushes you inside before he steps in after you.

“What are we doing here?” Bambam ignores you and types away on his phone. You lean against the metal wall and close your eyes feeling all your energy drain.

Bambam glances over at you and shoves his phone in his pocket. “Hey…” Bambam touches the side of your face, and you open your eyes. “Tired?” You nod your head and Bambam sighs. “I’ll take you home after this…just wait a little longer, okay?” Bambam wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you into his side letting you rest your weight against him. “You drive me fucking crazy, doll. You know that?” The elevator doors open and Bambam helps you out, not letting his hold on you go as he leads you down the hall of what you know to be the recording studios. Bambam stops in front of one door and knocks twice before he waits. There is shuffling on the other side and a few minutes later the door opens to reveal a tired looking Jaebeom. Jaebeom steps back and lets the two of you into the room. You look around and see that all GOT7 is there.

“What’s going on?” You look at each of the guys and they all look tired, but more so, they look hopeful.

“Have a seat Y/N,” Youngjae smiles at you and pats the spot next to him. You look at Bambam and he gives you a small push forward and you sit in between Youngjae and Mark.

“You ready?” Jaebeom asks and Bambam nods his head before he walks into the recording booth. Jaebeom sits down at the recording table next to Jackson and you stare at Bambam confused. Bambam puts on a pair of headphones and winks at you before Jaebeom gives him a thumbs up. Music fills the room, and you don’t know the song.

“He wrote this about you, so just listen, okay?” Jinyoung sits back with his arms resting on the length of the back of the couch while Yugyeom’s head is in his lap as he lays on the couch. You listen to the song and soon Bambam’s voice is all you can hear.

The words hit your heart and your hand moves to your stomach. Bambam’s eyes lock with yours and he smiles as the rest of the song plays.

The ending notes of the song fade out and tears are rolling down your face. Bambam pulls his headphones off and leaves the recording booth. He walks over to you and lowers himself in front of you. “Stay here with me Y/N…please?” Bambam cups your face and wipes at your tears. “I love you.” A sob slips past your lips and Bambam is quick to silence you with a kiss so deep it takes your breath away. “I love you, doll.” Bambam rest his forehead against yours and looks into your watery eyes.

“I-I love you too,” You cry and the guys all clap making heat attack your face.

“So, you’re gonna stay here, right?” Jackson asks and you nod your head quickly.

“Thank fuck,” Yugyeom sighs with a large smile on his face.

week two of #got7revival: fave era

this was the first look and the first couple of pictures I've ever seen of Jaebeom, and although I wasn't present yet when it happened, mentally I'm still there and I cannot wait for him to maybe at least get his nose pierced again. YOU GUYS WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAS HAPPENED!! I've seen the posts of non-ahgase asking who the "piercing guy in GOT7" was, and I wish I had already been a kpop fan at that time, but alas. ( the long hair is a very pretty bonus, too!! )

musically: Breath of Love: Last Piece Era

now, I'm a post-Encore ahgase, and GOT7, the album, was my first comeback ( but I'll get to that in a second ) but Breath of Love is such a no-skip album, and both Breath and Last Piece are bangers. I also really adore the Last Piece choreography and the fact that, again, every member wrote a song for the album;;

fan....dom..wise?? : GOT7 Era

my very first comeback, and what a comeback that was. nothing's brought me more joy in the past few months than the excitement and the guessing and the feeling of community during the three or so months that they teased and spoiled and released content.

the things GOT7 did? unprecedented and iconic. the first fan con day was on my birthday, even, and never has spending the day on twitter made me as happy as it has that day.

just a few weeks prior, on may 5th, I had gotten to see Yugyeom in concert, which was my first kpop concert, ever, and as I was traveling back home a day or so later, the article came out about how they were reportedly making a comeback that month qksktktt.

I won't ever forget all the videos and interactions, and how we all photoshopped helmets onto our profile pictures, and then wrapped them in foil and put those pink hearts on them, because that's just how we roll, apparently — or when Bam joined us, even. oh and how I joined my first group order, too. so many firsts and it was such lovely moments ;;;

I'm still a baby ahgase, really, but I feel like that was my rite of passage, and I'll always look back on it fondly. 💚

You know, I had the same feeling when GOT7’s Breathe of Love: Last Piece came out that I did when I heard the new songs on Proof. GOT7 took a hiatus and have had such good solo careers and their comeback was great. BTS needs this. They’ve worked so hard for us and now they deserve a break and the chance to explore the things they want to without all of the pressure put on them. They’re gonna come back even better than before

I definitely agree! And I figured solo ventures were coming and though I didn’t know to this degree, it makes sense, and it’s clearly the best decision for them. And I just think bts didn’t use the festa dinner to have this casual but genuine and serious conversation with each other and us to lie to us about coming back you know? They’ve never lied to us they’ve never misled us. Like they will obviously come back as a group we just don’t know when yet. And like JK was saying, this ability and freedom to do solo projects should have come sooner but they held off for the team. It’s time for them to have the option to do this

Also though this is a similar situation to got7 for sure and I’ve been thinking about that too, bts are still with the same company like they didn’t all sign elsewhere like got7. Which means solo projects will each take turns coming out and they’ll all be able to come back as a group without super conflicting schedules and the complications of separate companies when they feel the time is right

2. how did you decide on your bias?

i actually heard jackson’s solo music before i got into got7! (which was literally two months before they left jype 🥲) i rlly enjoyed what i heard from the actual group so I started looking into more of their content, but i was still very enamored by jackson lmaoo he’s just such a funny dude in their group interactions

3. who’s your bias wrecker?

it’s a VERY close tie between jaebeom and bambam…jaebeom is such a great leader and bambam is so funny gdndndj

4. hyung line or maknae line?

ooo this is tough…i think i’ll go with hyung line BUT i love maknae line so much too 😔 decisions decisions

5. what is your favorite era?

probably not by the moon/dye era! everyone looked SO good and that album has some of my favorite music from them

6. your favorite song and why?

omg i’ve been playing pray on repeat this week so it’s definitely my favorite rn but i do feel like my answer for this changes constantly jfnfndj. i just love that instrumental part at the beginning a lot!

i cry pretty easily LOL but got7 actually hasn’t made me cry yet—however i got REAL close with that goodbye stage right before they left jype…bambam getting so emotional rlly got to me, especially with him talking about how devoted the fans are :(

another question that changes all the time but rn i’d have to say look! that footwork in the chorus is some of my favorite choreo from them

11. what do you love about this group?

oh gosh, ik it’s cliché to say they’re just so talented but they rlly are!! and it truly shows with how much their music has changed and evolved throughout their careers, they have such a diverse discography which is what i love abt them. they’re also such a genuine and funny group—my dad has even watched got7 compilations with me before and enjoyed them 😭 i think they’re a great group for whenever you’re feeling down to help you get to feeling better again.

12. who would you marry and why?

jaebeom! him being a cat person is probably at least 80% of that LOL but he’s so genuine and caring w the members too 🥺

13. who would be your best friend and why?

bambam! his humor actually reminds me a lot of the guys i was friends with in high school fndndjd and i just think you’d always have a smile on your face around him

14. do you own any merch?

not yet :// i’ve contemplated collecting jackson’s pcs but there are…so many LOL. i rlly like the got7 lightstick tho!! if they ever tour again i might have to grab one

15. what’s a concept you would like to see them try?

i feel like everyone and their mother is doing a rock/emo concept rn but it would be kinda fun to see got7 go back to their roots w this next comeback a little bit hehehe…they probably won’t LOL but that would be interesting 🤔

i rlly need to watch more live stages of got7’s tbh! 😩 but that 2018 mama stage with jackson, bambam, and mark performing individually before everyone came out to do lullaby was one of the first things i saw from them and i was hooked immediately!

unfortunately no I dont have any tbz album 😞 generally I havent been able to indulge in buying Kpop merch bcos yknow... life hahaha but my goal is to buy the albums that have a lot of meaning to me since I dont think I can handle collecting all? like these albums (and im talking about Kpop generally) are like a "personal faves" collection and just collect the pcs of that era too if possible!

(If you're curious: the only Kpop albums I have so far are the complete sets for GOT7 - Dye, Breath of Love: Last Piece, and GOT7 (self-titled EP) & then I've managed to complete only 1 pc series which was for Breath of Love: Last Piece hehe)

#wild I've been to 4 GOT7 related concerts and I STILL dont have a lightstick I keep forgetting to buy huhu #but im gonna prepare for TBZ's concert this time kjsnfkjs

favorite thing about the group: i love how real they are especially in an industry that celebrates the manufactured. their variety content is some of the best ever and it made me fall in love with them; it always cheers me up. they are all equally talented musicians and their vision for got7 is so concise. they have a bond that to an extent resembles shinee's, like they are really family to each other? the latest comeback proved that. they are a crazy admirable group in that regard. on a more serious and personal note, they are a huge reason why i survived the worst depressive episode of my life and didn't kill myself a few months ago, so for that reason alone they are my artists of the year.

something i’d like to see from them: i just want them to keep going, tbh. i want them to prove to everyone that they have really paved the way by doing something remarkable and never-seen-before when they left jype and committed to being a group despite solos and different labels.

I love a good co-workers to lovers honestly because that's how me and my boyfriend got together mixed with friends to lovers lol I am having a good day so far. Trying to get my hair done before my kid gets out of school but who knows if that will happen or not. I hope your day/night is good!

But yeah...how I got into Got7? A co-worker of mine at the time got me into Stray Kids, they were my gateway into Kpop. I had watched a MV on Youtube of Got7 in 2019 (YCMN) and didn't really pay much attention to them 'cause I was so focused on Stray Kids. Plus I was/am more of a listen to over watch type of person, so I really only listened to groups on Spotify.

'You Calling My Name' was the fist song that I heard from them on Spotify and saw the mv of (again). I liked them, but I wasn't crazy about them. It wasn't until I heard 'Bullet to the Heart' by Jackson maybe an hour or so later for them to catch my attention. I started listening to more of his songs and I watched a few videos on Youtube, which pulled me more into Got7's world.

It took me a minute to realize that Jackson was in Got7 and I rewatched the 'You Calling My Name' mv. Their voices were so different as a group and it was a shock to hear Jackson singing and rapping with them. They all fit so well together. Slowly, Mark started to gain my attention with his voice and smile. I watched interviews and he became my bias along with Jackson.

(I'm really bad with faces and names. So it takes me a while to realize/notice when a solo artist is apart of a group...or if I have seen/heard a group before. If my mind wasn't so slow, I would have been a fan of Got7 since 2019 and not 2020)

My first comeback was their Breath/Last Piece era. What a time that was for me...I was so excited and confused 'cause I really had no idea what was going on. I didn't understand the whole comeback theme and what it meant. Now I just get hype whenever one of them has a comeback.
