Introducing: Grace!

Grace is one of our main characters. She is 18 years old at the start of the story, aromantic (like me!) and has OCD (like me!). Growing up, it was just her and her mom. She is strong-willed and skeptical, but hides a lot of insecurity underneath.

Finally finished this series of busts for Sapphire Spirit's main characters. I really wanted to practice doing some expressions and trying to push them and I had a lot of fun!

Finally introducing, my upcoming web comic, Sapphire Spirit!

Title: Sapphire Spirit (May change, who knows, we’ll see)

Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Young/New Adult, Portal Fantasy

Synopsis: After being unsuspectingly whisked into another world, Grace is desperate to return home, but she quickly finds that it’s not so simple. She is trapped on Ucana, a dying world, plagued by creatures of apathy and emptiness, and the spiritual forces that once kept balance fading away. In order to find a way home, Grace joins Keke and Koji, a pair of human twins in the same predicament, to traverse the world, collect the Spirit Gems, and restore the Spirits’ powers, saving Ucana and themselves.

What to expect:

Massive and developed fantasy world with fantasy language

Wild magic

Found family

Healthy, positive same sex and opposite sex friendships and romances

Explicit LGBTQ+ characters

Dealing with depression/OCD and learning how to (healthily) cope

Some romance, but as background flavor rather than for plot purposes.

An aromantic lead who finds partnership maybe??? You'll have to read to find out!

Cryptids and Germanic inspired mythology

I still have a lot of work to do before I actually start posting comic pages (like writing the damn thing and the Tumblr is still a WIP), but in the meantime, I'll be posting character intros, test comics, blurbs, world maps and all kinds of goodies!
