This week's nail art is thoughtless.
I had absolutely no ideas for nail art this week so I just looked through my stamping plates until something caught my eye, then tried to figure out colors. I wasn't in the mood to stamp over a solid color, so I did a gradient of colors that I like together. I wanted to do the stamp in silver, but I just could not manage to get a clean pick up with the chrome nail polish I usually use for that, so I switched to black stamping polish.
Polishes used:
OPI Natural nail base coat
OPI Nail Lacquer - Pear-adise Cove
OPI Nail Lacquer - Can’t Find My Czechbook
OPI Nail Lacquer - Feelin’ Berry Glam
Twinkled T Stamping Polish - Vibin’
Holo Taco - Super Glossy Taco
Also used:
a makeup sponge.

I haven't posted something here in forever and I should really change that, so here's some more recent stuff!
These are two gradient jelly nail polish looks I tried (the clouds one is from a youtube tutorial and I was inspired after to make a water version) and the other pic is of a plushie that came in just a while back. The little guy still doesn't have a name yet, so I guess I should think of something.

This week's nail art is liquid.
I decided to take another try at doing purple water nails. I was originally going to use the same gradient colors as I did last time and try to tint my whites a warmer color, but I decided it would be easier to use cool toned purples* instead. I also got lazy and decided to skip the rounding out the shapes step, but I don't think my results would have been much better if I hadn't. It looks okay, but still nothing looks as good as the original water nails.
*The darkest color is actually a blue.

essie - play date
