the 3rd "i hate everyone else but you" prompt (“…Only because it’s you, but I swear I’ll never do this again.” …. “So you said something about never doing this again?” “Shut it.”) screams norstappen to me for some reason

"Hey, so do you remember that time you had to uh, bail me out?", Lando laughed nervously, eyes flickering aound the hallway as the officer watched it.

All that Lando got as an answer was a long sigh. It was actually pretty impressive in length, and Lando was tempted to comment on it but he knew better than to do that right now. He liked living thank you very much.

"Where?", Max grumbled, and Lando could hear the jingle of Max's car keys that were overpopulated with all the keychains Lando had got him through out the years.

"The one on fifth, love you", Lando singsonged, trying to get Max to laugh but all he got was a soft huff before the officer was informing him his time was up and leading him back to his cell.

Lando sat back down on the bench furthest away for the other people milling about in the holding cell. He took up as little space as possible, nodding at one of the other freqeunt flyers as he waited for Max. He felt a bit guilty about dragging him out of bed so late....again. Especially after he had promised that the last time would be the last time.

Max had crossed his arms and pleaded with Lando to stop with the statement pieces of graffiti art, especially in places where it was easy to get caughts. Lando had promised he would, but when Charles had told him about the animal testing going on, Lando had to do something. His alter ego as a graffiti artist got people's attention and the thoughts of the poor animals being hurt made his blood boil.

"Norris, your man is here", Ricciardo called, laughing slightly as he led him out of the cell before whispering, "Sorry man, was stuck on a call and couldn't warn you".

"It's okay Dan. See you at Seb's saturday?", Lando whispered back, getting a nodd in reply before Max was standing before him. The other siging whatever it was that he had to for Lando to be released. Once he was done, they walked out in silence. Lando was fidgetting with his fingers until Max took his hand.

"So....you said something about never doing this again?", Max teased, squeezing their fingers together and cackling when Lando glared at him.

"Shut up", Lando tried to pout but the smile that belonged to Max had already crept onto his lips.

Back on my TWEWY!VBS au bullshit

Featuring headcanons post-Game!!

Toya is less reserved and does things without a hint of shame to the embarrassment of the others

He randomly kisses his teammates (akito corner of mouth, kohane's fingers, an's cheeks) just to see them redden. He enjoys it immensely.

Hes still rlly kind and earnest and genuine but the game kinda fucked with him yanno he's adopted a yolo kinda mindset

Akito is more or less settled in his own skin. Hes had to get some help from others but ultimately he realizes that even without his passion/dream or talent, he is still a very good person and someone important to his team. Hes more of a live for the people you love kinda guy now

Hes still temperamental and moody but around his team he's less harsh and moreso just blunt

When hes embarrassed, he will find kohane first to bury his head in her hair, if he cant find her its an's shoulder, and when those two arent around toya's jacket it is. (Toya does most of the teasing to him, so more than likely akito's trying to hide from him)

An turns up the physical affection a lot. You will now see her hanging off toya and akito's shoulders, linking arms with kohane or just in general having an arm wrapped around their waists

Shes scared if she lets go of them theyll disappear haha abandonment issues go brrrrr

She likes changing up her hairstyle a lot, and lets kohane and akito mess with it. Kohane likes brushing an's hair a lot

Kohane goes nonverbal a lot bc she forgets she has her voice again

When it happens in a show she somehow finds a way to make sure the audience is still engaged haha. She might force herself to make sounds just to backup their song vocals, but this is rare. An akito and toya can tell when she cant speak so taking over her lines is seamless

Though toya once done goofed by doing his funky kohane voice like he does in the hollow song. He thought itd be funny....akito didnt talk to him for a day

All four of them get odd when ppl ask them about their incident and the one week hospitalization

Toya is the most normal, you ask him about it and he just goes quiet and doesnt want to talk about it. Its like attributed to a regular trauma response, bc to everyone else vbs DID nearly die so like.

Akito kinda avoids the issue. When ena corners him about it he shifts to his more polite persona except its jarring bc you can feel him glaring at you. Ena of course is confrontational so another fight breaks out between them

An gets super weird. She starts acting like Nagi -- it was never noticeable at first but the longer she did it ppl started to get concerned.

Kohane suddenly goes Akito Mode, getting all grumpy and huffy haha. Just dont ask about the game to her, it wont end well

Did i mention Joshua becomes Toya's music teacher? Harumichi goes bug eyed at this bc Joshua is kinda famous with classical musicians. That toya managed to ask him for lessons is insane. He starts thinking that toya is back on the classical music grind

Joshua shoots that down pretty quick and says hes a music teacher, not a classical only teacher. Hes got a condition for toya to come to him for lessons, and thats to continue his activities with VBS and succeed at them. Harumichi is stunned lmao

Kohane pesters Neku a lot, as more visually creative people. He helps her create a tag for VBS bc surprise graffitti artist kohane wheeee

She has An or Akito spot her a lot.

No one knows if VBS is dating or not and tbh neither do they, they just like being close.

Akito gets annoyed with some of the reaper uniforms and drags mizuki to help him redesign them (mizuki doesnt know about reapers lol)

An learns breakdancing! She puts a blush on her partners' faces everytime she makes a move, bc goddamn An is fucking gorgeous

They all take commissions and requests from shibuya to perform haha. Ken is surprised when some well known person goes into Weekend Garage to ask specifically for VBS

Ken somehow also becomes their manager. An has tried to tell him he doesnt have to, they can manage, but goddamnit Ken nearly lost his daughter and her friends (ppl he considers his own kids at this point) he really doesnt want to let them out of his sight

The SEKAI changes too. Its still a street sekai, but now there are more...people, kinda? Like in stage sekai theres an audience, the livehouses in Street Sekai have audiences too, which delight the vocaloids

Somehow there are also shops and stores containing the kids' interests

The changes are honestly due to the influences the twewy cast has on VBS. Their souls are unnaturally strong, so some part of their soul latches onto the VBS squad and sorta imprints on the sekai.

Its like fragment sekais but it anchors to the street sekai itself so it becomes stable

So now VBS goes exploring their sekai a lot. Kohane likes going to the rooftops, toya tours the livehouses, an and akito go through the stores

Kiddo vs GCPD/ D. Grayson

Dick Grayson ?mentoring? a 14 year old reader who happens to be a criminal. 

THE NARROWS- GOTHAM CITY- NEW JERSEY

It was a cold and sleeting winter day, like many others in Gotham. The sky was gray as you strolled down the street gnawing on a candy cane. You were looking forward to celebrating the holidays with your friends, when you passed by the darkened Crime Alley. It was a place perfect for graffitti. This was your favorite hobby.

You began your artwork, as two GCPD officers stepped up behind you, both looked mid to late twenties. You read their name tags. Officer Montoya, the woman, had short brown hair, and her partner ,Officer Grayson, had short black hair. You froze as Officer Montoya yelled at you. You couldn't hear her over her own yelling.

“You can chill a little bit, y’know; they’re just a kid.” Remarked her partner.

She glared, her eyes were like daggers. “I am technically your boss, remember?” Then, she gave a smile that was anything but comforting.

Turning to you she yelled, “Put your hands up!” You complied in terror.

Anxiously, you sat in the back of a cop car, knowing you’ve really done it now. You wondered why the police didn’t have anything better to do. You were just a graffiti artist, not like you killed anyone.

GCPD-INTERROGATION ROOM-GOTHAM CITY- NEW JERSEY

You sat cuffed to a table ,bored out of your damn mind, as you heard the door creak open. You hoped to a higher power that the mean lady wouldn’t walk in. Your hope must've gotten you somewhere because Officer Grayson walked through that door. He sat across the table from you.

“Hey Kiddo, I talked with some folks and the police have decided to help you out” He said with a smile.

You tried to shoot him a glare, but he just smiled in return. He didn't seem intimidated in the slightest. You didn’t have much of a choice except to reply with,

“Okay.”

“If you do some community service with the station for three months, you’ll be off scott free. You’ll have a clean record. It really is a good deal. Do you agree to these terms?”

“Yes.” You answered, because it really wasn't a bad deal. You did not feel like spending the night in a juvie cell after all.

“Great!” Said Grayson, he seemed happy for you. “I’d hate to see another kid in jail. But, there is a condition- no crimes. Well, really, that should be a given.” He once again smiled.

THREE WEEKS LATER- A FRIEND’S APARTMENT- GOTHAM CITY, NJ

“What’cha wanna do?” CeCe said innocently as he gestured to a can of paint. You definitely got a hint.

“Can’t.” You said, “Not now. Not anytime soon.”

“Is this because of that stupid thing you’ve got going on with the GCPD?”

“Obviously. I love you CeCe, but I can’t go to jail for you right now. In no time i'll be out of the police radar. You just gotta have patience.”

“Don’t be a dumbass, man. You can have a cheat day for one night”

“Yeah, I guess,” You said, looking at the ground pitifully.

AN ALLEYWAY- GOTHAM CITY, NJ

CeCe ran as a cop pulled up behind you guys. CeCe ran for it, as Officer Grayson recognized your face.

‘Y/N!?” He yells, as you turn and look at his shocked face. “Get in this car right now!”

At least you got to ride in the front this time.

“You're gonna end up getting kicked from the volunteer program,” Grayson said, slightly sad, slightly aggravated. He let out a sigh. “I’m not your enemy, Kid. You actually remind me a lot of someone. My little brother, Jason, was- still is a lot like you.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” You question.

“It means he’s been in and out of facilities for a bit, and boy has he had it rough. I didn’t want that for him and I don't want that for you. I won’t report you, as long as you don’t do this again and you stay away from your little ‘friends’.”

“Where do I go then?” You asked, you stayed with your friends a lot. It was where you felt safe.

“My girlfriend, Shawn, works at a place that helps kids like you. She used to be really into graffiti as a kid, too. I can take you there now?”

“Thanks, Grayson.”

“You can call me Dick.” He said with a smile.

Hi again! I hope this is not too broad of a question, but I'd love to hear more about Xenon's cult! I find the concept quite interesting and I crave more information!

not too broad at all!! ive actually been waiting for a good chance to talk about it hehe

The Sunbasked Stratum is a small city that is, in actuality, a cult. The place is pristine - all the walls and floors are a perfect white, the windows are always clean and clear, and there are tiny patches of color in the form of carefully curated gardens and flowerbeds. The people who live there worship Death as the thing that makes us human - in their eyes, the ability to die is what separates the flesh from the machine, the animate from the inanimate, and the mortal from the divine. It's such an important concept to them that they think it should absolutely never be interfered with. The Institute, a combined government and religious organization, consequently outlawed the practice of medicine within the community. It happened so long ago that nobody within the Stratum even remembers it. They've all become so accustomed to their lack of a healthcare system that they hardly even think about it, let alone desire it. For them, a small cold could mean the end of a life, and they accept that fate with open arms.

Every once in a while, citizens see a masked rebel tagging Institute buildings with their signature green spray paint. They've been told this person is dangerous, that they want to destroy the foundation of the community beliefs, that they should absolutely never be trusted, and that they should be reported to the Institute on sight. They haven't been told why.

This mysterious person is Xenon, graffitti artist, petty criminal, and the only medic in The Sunbasked Stratum. His goal is to teach the brainwashed people of their community that this is no way for them to live, and that they have more of a purpose than to simply die and "prove their humanity." There is an inherent worth to life besides death - and he wants the Institute to realize that.

Emilia: First of all, Emilia is offended that you would insinuate that the Crown Princess would deface public property. Second of all, she would not spray paint it herself. She would hire an artist to spray paint it for her -- a stylized rendition of the crest of the Empire, in honor of its glorious rule and kindness. Public art is an important part of displaying the wealth of the Empire, and extending their cultural reach, and unifying their national identity. Third of all, I'm pretty sure I saw her stencilling a quite amateurish, but very enthusiastic, piece of graffitti about the importance of supporting and elevating peasants. Aria and Noam may or may not have been mentioned by name or by face -- I think she deserves a little dignity, at least, and I'll grant her a little by not specifying any further.

Noam: Noam's favorite drinking game is one where he watches people drink. He will also have a drink. To participate. He likes feeling included, even if he doesn't quite understand all the intricate rules of drinking games and drinking cultures. Emilia has very interesting reactions to being drunk. He does not understand them, but she probably makes more sense than when she's sober, to be perfectly honest. Aria is too good at holding her liquor, but she likes to pretend she's drunk, to flirt outrageously with Emilia. Noam understands this, and thinks it's fun. Noam leans to lightweight, but a fast metabolism lets him drink a lot as long as he measures himself.

Aria: Aria doesn't have a lot to nerd out over -- she's mostly busy trying to keep herself afloat in schoolwork, catch up her muscle and thaumaturgic memory to the nobles, and seduce the Crown Princess. That's a lot to do! But she does find noble politics, and specifically, noble presentation-politics fascinating. She could go on for hours about the different ways that nobles deflect, obviate, evade, imply, insinuate, and otherwise modify and tamper their presentation for various effects. She rarely nerds out -- she displays this knowledge and joy in practice, because she needs to. Or at least, she thinks she needs to...perhaps she'd explain some to Noam. To help him. Explaining it to Emilia is like explaining gills to a fish.
