What makes you think Allison didn't know about Klaus being queer? If you're going by on-screen conversation, then Diego and Five don't actually know that he is. (Five blinked away before he revealed the gender of osso bucco guy and the talk with Diego was erased from the timeline.)

i mean mostly that none of them really know because they barely know each other lol. especially at that point in s2 - they’ve spent all of a week hanging out after having no contact for over a decade. it’s not that klaus is closeted or that they wouldn’t be accepting it’s that they just literally have never interacted with him in normal enough circumstances to know. also i forgot five blinked away lol but i think given that klaus pretty freely talks about being queer and he’s spent way more time with five and diego atp it makes sense they’d probably have an idea vs allison who he didn’t interact with nearly as much. also, imo, klaus and diego were probably close as kids. allison & luther obviously paired off, and it seems like ben, five, and viktor did as well (when five first jumps forward he calls for viktor, ben, and reginald in that order. it’s viktor he first trusts with the truth, it’s viktor that reminisces about five and ben first, viktor gets to say goodbye to ben before he dies in s2, just lots of things that make it seem like they were a trio), which leaves diego and klaus. and diego and klaus seem much closer in s1 than they do with the others, the same way that five is more willing to trust viktor in s1, and allison & luther are immediately close. they all seemed to latch back onto their favorite sibling growing up before spreading out a bit.

and from allison’s pov like - your drug addict brother comes over and tries to jack some of your dead dad’s stuff, gleefully raids through everyone’s stuff and steals your skirt from when you were 14, disappears for a few days and comes back wearing slightly more masc clothing but crying way more & attempting to be sober suddenly, then you all get shat out in the 60s - like that doesn’t really point one way or the other for klaus’ sexuality lol. him and allison barely interact and he had a sugar mommy not a sugar daddy.

also, allison is deeply annoyed with him for the first half of the season. grateful he got ray out of jail but whereas she’s hesitant of luther bc of her complicated feelings for him, she seems genuinely annoyed whenever klaus is around. she likely has some sympathy for luther and his inability to fit in while klaus has (supposedly) not had that issue, he’s even been rich the whole time. but she visibly reacts when he uses male pronouns to describe a lover and instantly starts taking him more seriously - granted, in her allison way of Making Everyone Get Along by just enabling him lol so they spend the rest of the episode drinking. but still. she shows a marked change in sympathy post kitchen talk in ep 5 and imo it’s not just because he relapsed, but because of why he relapsed.

𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 .

1. what does your muse smell like ?

Well this is a loaded question. So as a child he probably smells normal like soap and whatever his shampoo is. Its probably something incredibly practical because that’s what Reginald would do. In the apocalypse he smells awful. Bathing isn’t a priority though Five does try to do what he can. He probably smells like death and decay to be honest. Five grows used to the smell over time but at first it was hard to admit it was coming from him. He smells like fire, ash, and dirt. He also likely smells like alcohol too. In the Commission he smells like hand sanitizer because they cleaned him thoroughly when he joined. And he can’t quite shake the smell. Not that he dislikes it. Five likes smelling clean. It is so different and welcome than the apocalypse. But smelling so sterile can be off putting. After all not everyone wants to smell like a hospital. In 2019, and what we see Five as normally he starts off smelling a bit sterile because of where he just came from. Then he puts on that uniform that smells very slightly of their mother, and laundry detergent. As the show progresses he probably has a very distinct smell of blood on him. At one point he smells like alcohol, and no matter if he bathes or not that smell of blood doesn’t leave. Other faint scents you might find on him are burning wood, lemon hand soap, and Elliot’s mint shampoo.

2. what do your muse’s hands feel like ?

They are soft. Well when he’s a teen, both post and per-apocalypse. During the apocalypse the become quite calloused, and early on they get so damaged because he wasn’t using gloves when he should have been, but he had trouble finding them. He hates that they are gone when he goes back to 2019, because its almost like what he went through was being erased.

3. what does your muse usually eat in a day ?

Well not much. In the course of the series which for Five is two weeks, we have seen him eat twice. He eats when he returns to 2019 and eats a Peanut Butter and Marshmallow sand which, and the second time is him being very selective of the parts of the brain he eats in Vanya’s hallucination. We know he eats in the apocalypse and he isn’t picky as he can’t afford to be. He does not eat the meal the day he runs away. So what does he usually eat in a day, he consumes coffee. Does that count as food? No. Someone should feed him. I imagine he ate in season 2 with Elliot. But its not shown or even really implied.

4. does your muse have a good singing voice ?

Honestly I know the default in the fandom is to assume he does because Aidan can sing. However, I think he is just average. He can carry a tune, but he’s not winning any awards. He honestly would rather not sing if he can help it.

5. does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks ?

Have you seen this man’s posture, even as a child the fact that he over corrected it was a problem. He has horrible posture and tends to shrug and hunch his shoulders. Nervous ticks include excessive eye blinking when he is trying to understand things and that could be anything. Five when stressed will often run his hands through his hair and grip his head we see this as he tries to cobble something together when Vanya destroys the moon, when he needs to think about what Klaus said after their father revealed to him how he died, and we see it when he is lecturing Luther about not listening to him in season 2. His worst habit is his horrid sleeping schedule, and his focus on things to an extent that isn’t healthy. The second is bad because while he easily can see the big picture, he can see math and such he often does not include himself in it.

6. what does your muse usually look like / wear ?

Five‘s appearance is a point of contention, and it is something I have written at length on. His basic appearance is that of a thirteen year old boy. He is thin and lanky and likely weighs 100 pounds soaking wet. He is one of the smallest siblings and based on interactions with him he likely always has been. We know when he gets older he doesn’t grow much which could have been due to malnutrition from the Apocalypse. His hair grows white, he has an impressive beard, and he always remains rather skinny. Even in a normal healthy upbringing Five will never be able to get rid of that lankiness. His appearance as a child, and what we are most familiar with seeing is a normal haircut, parted at the side, and slicked to the side with gel or hairspray, or pure willpower. What he wears is his Umbrella Academy uniform. He does this begrudgingly, but he quickly learns how helpful it can actually be because it makes him even more unassuming. It makes him blend in despite it being a uniform. When he is not a child we see him in a grey suit, and the Handler even tries to bribe him with a grey suit. In the apocalypse he wore protective clothing that served as comfort as well. He had a few practical items such as goggles, and knife holster that once belonged to Diego. If he had free choice for what he wears it would be simple and practical clothing. It would also fit a purpose. if he needs to play up the child aspect of himself he will dawn shorts and a t-shirt. If he wants to be normal, he wears sweaters, and suit pants. His ideal look is that of a Noir detective with the rolled up sleeves, and deep navy jacket off. Which is close to what the Commission had him wear but the difference is he would wear a different style of suit. Don’t expect to see him outside of his uniform though.

7. Is your muse affectionate?  How much?  How so?

No. He himself is not going to seek out affection. He honestly has a very weird relationship with it due to 45 years of being alone. And I wont go into it so much here. However just because he doesn’t seek out touch doesn’t mean he doesn’t like or appreciate it. There is certain touch that he doesn’t react to at all, this is how you know he hates what is happening, a perfect example is any touch with the Handler. Touch he doesn’t mind and wouldn’t mind more of is touch from his family. He wants his family to be affectionate with him. While he will most certainly Blink out of any group hug, he would allow it. He liked it when he was a kid, see Klaus easily putting an arm on him. He wants it as an adult, but Five usually like I said wont seek it out. You wont find him asking for a hug despite wanting one. The best chance to see him be affectionate is allow him to respond to a touch with a little smile, that’s about as much as you’ll get from him.

8. what position does your muse sleep in?

So the only two times we have ever seen him sleep are both times where it wasn’t a willing sleep. Granted in the Library he could have been asleep, but I’m not going to count that one. Either way after he gets drunk Luther sets him on his side, and he doesn’t move from that position. When Grace is patching up the shrapnel wound he is on his back, and presumably doesn’t move from that position. Honestly Five is the kind of guy that can sleep anywhere and everywhere in any kind of position and once he is asleep he’s not going to be moving. I would say he probably sleeps on his side, slightly curled and facing the door.

9. could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room ?

No. Five is one of the quietest of the siblings in terms of voice volume and just regular volume of their day to day activities. If you want to put it on a scale, for quietest it would literally start with Five, then go to Ben, then go to Vanya for most quietest. However Five is sneaky, he is quick, and part of the reasons his powers are so effective at being annoying to his siblings is they don’t make a sound. Five is very stealthy. In general his footfalls don’t make much noise and that has only gotten more honed in over the years. If you can hear him coming up on you by his footsteps you’re likely Vanya.
