These Grass-type Pokemon were commissioned by @kyuremfan24 and are based off his own designs. They are the Grass Starters of the Nenal Region.

Grudow (Grass) Tiny Bird Pokémon #001 - Grudow eggs hatch within the marshy meadows of the Nenal region, where they remain for their whole life due to the perfect balance between plants and water. They are not strong flyers, and cannot travel very far on their leaf-like wings.

Wedwit (Grass) Leafy Bird Pokémon #002 - Wedwit are often seen in the waters of swampy marshlands, using their wings to glide through the water instead of flying. Spending more time swimming than flying have made them national icons for the swimmers of Nenal.

Swutto (Grass/Water) Pro Swimmer Pokémon #003 - Spending so much of their lives swimming has made their sleek wings well adapted to the water and stronger than most Flying Pokémon. A plant-based oil secreted from their pores coats their feathers, allowing them to glide through the water quickly, without resistance.

Pokemon Fic Planning Help: Grass Starter

Ok, there's a Pokemon fic series I want to try and do that I'm calling Pokemon Shuffle. It's where I take the games and I shuffle up characters, lore, legendaries, starters, and story aspects and put them in different regions and forge new connections. Just for fun experimentation and see what I can do story wise, see what I can make work.

And the one I want to get started on first is with Galar. And what I need help with is deciding on the starters for this mix up, which I would like lore reasons for the starters to be there (which I always wonder what is the lore reason for these specific 3 to be the starters of that region) and for this, I'd like them tied to iconic mythical/fable characters and tropes in British history, with these starters sticking around cause they have a place in Galar history and culture. And a few starters technically could fit here and I just go back and forth on who should be here.

And I'll be doing 2 other posts since I've found it's just 1 poll per post.
