There is something about surrounding yourself with things that make you feel happy and inspired and creative. For me that is old brushes, older wood and color. ⠀⠀ Crazy right? But it’s true. I have always been a collector of old wooden “things.” From brick molds to crates to dresser drawers- all of them make me happy. I sit and wonder about the stories they could tell. Just imagine. ⠀⠀ And old brushes. I have truly lived what has unfolded as I have weathered the change that has come from evolving as an artist. ⠀⠀ And color. I need this to keep me feeling engaged and inspired as I create. I surround myself with a neutral palette in my home.
