Favourite headcanon/song(s) for gratsu? 🖤

Headcanon: One of my favourites headcanon for them is that during the beginning of their relationship, everything is so so awkward. * And of the ways in which the nervousness translates into is holding hands. Ice magic + fire magic? Coming together? It can be the thermodynamic equilibrium of hand holding but they are so unused to these new feelings that all of it is a disaster lol. It takes them a while to get comfortable.

(*I actually deleted 3 paragraphs after this because I got carried away in rambling how awkward they are lmao.)

Brother by Kodaline! I know it's not a romantic song but I think it fits their dynamic and I love it.

Be as One by w-inds!! Which is the 6th ending theme of Fairy Tail anime. I think the song goes great with gratsu and... it's one of my ongoing struggle to make an amv for it. (here is a very embarrassing thread of it.)

Gratsu Bingo - FuckYeahGratsu Summer Event 2019

Welcome to @fuckyeahgratsu‘s first Summer Event, which we’ve put together with @gratsu-week!

This event will run from July 1 - August 31. You might be wondering why on Earth it’s so long? Well, our goal is to have fun! Outside of Gratsu Week (July 16-22) when it will run like a regular event week, Gratsu Bingo is meant to be mellow. 

Summer can be a busy time, sometimes we feel creative but don’t want the pressure of a full event. So we have put together 32 prompts, and given you the choice of 4 free prompts to do whatever you like (write that vampire AU, or that fic based on a song you can’t get out of your head. Whatever you like, those squares are up to you.)

Do whatever prompt you want, whatever day you want! 

What types of entries will we accept?

Fanfiction (any length, including 5 Sentence Memes)

Fanart 

Text Posts (Headcanons, Quotes, etc...)

Edits (Aesthetics, AMV’s, Memes, etc...)

Updates to WIP’s (The updated chapter must fit one of the prompts, for artists if you color a previously posted sketch it will also count)

Our goal is to keep creative over the summer and make more content for our favorite pairing. If you get 6 squares across or on the diagonals (Bingo) you can claim a prize.  Participating in all prompts from Day 1-Day 6 of Gratsu Week guarantees you a Bingo. 💖 You may claim multiple bingos over the summer.  💖

Welcome to Gratsu Weekend which will take place from March 1-March 4. Here are our prompts, each day has two possible choices!

Bonus Day Drabble Challenge! We thought we would try something different so on this day we challenge you to write a drabble (less than 1K) or submit a sketch using either of Day 4′s prompts. You’re also welcome to use one of the other prompts if it inspires you more.

 Please use the tag gratsuweekend2k19 for all submissions. All work must be original to the person entering it.

Is there a minimum word count?

No there isn’t, we will be accepting everything from drabbles all the way to multi-chapter fics.

Is there any content that will not be allowed?

No entries containing references to pedophilia, incest or character bashing will be accepted. All entries should treat their subject matter respectfully.

Can I submit a new chapter to a published fiction as my entry?

No. All work must be previously unpublished. New chapters of an already published work will not be accepted, however, a stand-alone one-shot based on an existing work is acceptable.

Do the characters involved have to be in a romantic/sexual relationship or can I write them platonically?

You are welcome to represent them either way. 

Will you accept smut or pwp in your event?

Yes, you are welcome to submit this type of work as long as you tag and rate it appropriately, and follow all the other event rules (no pedophilia or incest, characters are not demeaned or dehumanized).

How should I rate my fanfiction?

You should use the AO3 Guidelines . Please make sure to tag for any potential triggers.

Is there a limit to the number of stories one can submit to this event?

You can submit as many stories as you want, there is no limit!

Will you accept late submissions?

Yes, we will accept late submissions, if we don’t reblog it within a week, send us an ask or tag us in a reblog of it so we definitely see it but we’ll do our best to keep checking the tag gratsuweekend2k19 during the event.
