My sexual, romantic, and gender identities could all be honestly summarised as "absolutely not, but maybe, in this very extremely specific way that barely makes sense to anyone"

Shoutout to aspecs who have dated/had sex but don't want to do so again.
Whether you thought you wanted it but later realised you didn't...
Whether you knew at the time you were just giving in to societal pressures but tried it anyway...
Whether you genuinely did want it at the time but don't any more...
Whether it was a great experience at the time or a terrible one...
Whatever the reason, it's okay to just. Stop.
You can always, always change your mind about whether dating or sex are things you want in your life. Maybe they once were. Doesn't mean they have to be now.

"can i still be aro if i'm ____?"
"can i still be aro if i'm dating someone?"
"can i still be aro if i said _____ to someone?"
"can i still be aro if i feel ____?"
there's no "wrong" or "right" way to be aromantic, aromantic is a spectrum and it goes beyond by a lot so yes if your aromantic, it doesn't matter how you feel/act or do, if you know your aromantic. you are aromantic.

A very Happy Valentine's Day to any ace, aro, aroace, gray, demi, cupio, abro, quio, placio, akoi, fray and everyone else on the asexual/aromantic spectrum reading this!
Maybe we don't love in the "normal" way, but we're not lonely or broken or cold unfeeling robots. We still love in our own way and are worthy of love!

Why can’t people believe i’m aro? Like- they make me doubt my own feelings just because being aro is “strange” in the society we live. Not a single person i know supports me or believe that i’m truly aromantic and that’s fucking sad-

Okay- genuine question, what is the difference between romantic affection and platonic affection? Like seriously what is the difference. What do you feel/not feel with a romantic partner that makes it different from a friend? I've never *had* a romantic relationship, and Im both asexual and (probably? Maybe???)gray-aro, so I'm having a hard time conceptualizing it. Like all I know is there's kinda a vibe to romance that's different from friendship? But that vibe bleeds so far into my understanding of a close platonic relationship that I cannot, for the life of me, discern where one ends and another begins. Any and all input is welcome :)
