(This post might be kinda weird or hard to -for some- to understand but I know there is someone out there that needs to know they are not alone and that they are seen.) Abbi dog and I got out today. I, a little begrudgingly. Our walk looked different today because of mentioned change but nature never fails us. Even on gray days. Sloshing through soggy ponds we (I) found a patch of rosehips. Such a needed moment of purpose. Love that God is the part of nature I get. Things change. Kinda slapped me in the face today and made me yell and shrink. Sometimes it’s easy to handle but then there are days where one too many blocks get added to my tower. Stresses become too much. And I know I just can’t. I wonder if depression ever really goes away. Maybe some people are just more resilient or less attached. I’ll never know cause I’m not like that. Life can feel fine until the moment when one too many things takes up mindspace and I’m done. Today was one of those days. But luckily I’ve dealt with both sides enough to recognize the depth and figure my way out. Not ever simple or even always something done in a day (or alone) but it IS possible. And that’s pretty hopeful. Do you deal with depression at times too? How do you get yourself out? I hope you’re not having one of these days. Please know you are a blessing. You are a loved friend. You are a beautiful person. You are cherished by our Heavenly Father.
