Most libraries in the US are free only to people in the library's taxing district. Who will be able to get a QLL card? Is it a subscription library? I am watching with great eagerness - I can't wait to add a QLL card to my Libby account :)

Hello! you're absolutely right, and that's partially due to how public libraries are usually funded through local taxes. That's one of the unique things about QLL, since we're a 501(c)3 non-profit and fully funded through donations, our library will be accessible to anyone across the US* who signs up for a digital card with us! We've already met with Overdrive/Libby to confirm that we can do this.

*we are currently limited to the United States because of how ebook licensing works. It would be exciting to expand in the future, but we're just getting started.

Would Batman be a cannibal?

GETTING THE REAL FUCKING QUESTIONS IN MY ASK BOX.

The cannibal question is a two parter: in an emergency (say, if they're all trapped on a deserted asteroid in space with no food), would they a) eat somebody else in an emergency, and b) consent to be eaten?

I think, given any alternative, Batman wouldn't do a cannibalism. He'd find another way. He always finds another way, he's Batman. But if the cannibalism was the 'other way' from something worse, he'd have no problem doing it. If cannibalism is the alternative to a loss of life, then he's definitely down. He does whatever it takes but he always does the right thing. He's not squeamish, but honestly you know he's prepared for the deserted asteroid situation and you know he probably wouldn't need to resort to that. He's also obviously down to have his corpse be eaten if it saves a life. However, he does always give due consideration to cannibalism when it could be a practical solution to a problem.

Every single other Batfamily member would be 100% down with absolutely 0 reservations, far less hesitantly than Batman. Tim would be the first to suggest it but Dick would be the first to volunteer to be eaten. Cass is second. Jason is last, but that's because he's convinced his corpse would be icky. The only exceptions are Stephanie, who thinks the entire room is a freak for even having this hypothetical conversation, and Damian, who is a vegetarian.

Favorite Mulder’s couch moments?

my absolute favorite is definitely in all things. scully telling him about her experience, him interpreting it as she talked to god. the way she says 'what if there was only one choice and all the other ones were wrong? and there were signs along the way.' and she falls asleep immediately after, the way he covers her with the blanket. absolutely incredible. precious really.

but i also really love pine bluff variant. when mulder comes into his dark apartment and scully's there waiting for him. and he tries to kick her out, but scully forced her way into his secret undercover mission and takes care of his broken finger. like i just love it. she was so confused & upset & mad. there was no way the mulder she knows would commit treason and hurt people. people he's always fighting for. like i know we talk about mulder's relentlessness & determination & passion, but it's so true of scully too. especially where mulder is concerned. i adore them

and i can't not mention je souhaite. "well i'm fairly happy, that's something." we don't get to see scully happy very often. and she really is so happy in season seven. her admitting to him, watching his reaction to the fact that he makes her happy? it's just so sweet. she buried it for so long, didn't know how to ask him for what she wanted, couldn't really accept it because she really cares about their work too. they spent all of season 6 trying to figure out how it could work, and in season 7 it does work. they are still them. their cases become real dates and then they can go home with each other. their communication still isn't perfect, but they start saying so much more *directly* they don't have to talk around it anymore. they can live and work. they can have both!! partnership in every sense

Usually not! Because he’s good at reading Gale's clues and can tell when a push back is just "I don’t know if I can be vulnerable" or Gale actually not being down for something. Bucky is very attentive to him. Sometimes, people would make comments like "oh, Buck clearly wasn't happy about that" and Bucky would snort at them and tell them that actually, he was very amused. He enjoys that it takes a special relationship to get to Gale's core like that and that Gale lets him. When it happens, it feels like even more of a gift.

But.

If Bucky feels vulnerable himself and he’s met with a wall, it can lead to a rapid deterioration of his mood. See: Bucky in the stalag. Gale pulling further and further back into himself due to their circumstances and Bucky struggling himself is a combination that makes Bucky spiral. He does get insecure then.

What's been your favorite story you've written? Or the funnest.

I really liked the alien bounty hunter one in terms of having fun writing it.

Making the yandere originally hell bent on exterminating the reader for pay but then slowly fall for the reader because they refuse to die and fight back really well.

But my favorite story is probably Hellbound Angel where the reader is an angel and the yan is a coniving demon. I liked the betrayal and the drug-like cum and the musk and creepy underwear sniffing. It just had a lot of my kinks. Very self indulgent.

Admittedly yes, I now own a cropped sweater and I look sexy as hell when I wear it with high waisted leggings. They still don’t make much sense considering the purpose of a sweater is to cover- but I understand the fashion portion now.

Allan focuses on the map, trying to pinpoint the best tourist spot to go first as Ken keeps his eyes on the road. As he is driving, he begins to lip sync to the lyrics.

He is passionately singing along, secretly loving it as an awkward Allan begins to take notice. Ken stops the moment Allan's eyes are on him. He keeps on driving, trying to ignore the song twisting at his heart. The big crescendo of the song begins to hit as Ken doesn't want to miss it for the world.
