"The day where they'll ache like I do may never come, the ugliest thing to know is that your pain may never be acknowledged, those who contributed to your trauma may never face a single reprocussion.. they may go on to live pretty great lives, while you're left to slowly erode.

I may have escaped, my long standing childhood wishes of running away came true! but that feeling is finite, as daily life can bring harsh realisations, that i'm a shell of a person of who I barely even know..

You may get diagnosed with a chronic illness, misdiagnosed with a particular disorder or mental illness, you may even have sleep disturbances, agoraphobia or become an addict of some sort.. what this ultimately means in the real world is becoming a burden on the system."
