🌟🌟Super Spinach With Turkey Bacon and Sweet Onion 🧅🥓🍽️🥘🌟🌟 . . . To make, I first sliced up two sweet onions. I put them in a bowl and set aside. Then I peeled and diced up about six cloves of garlic. I also defrosted one 12 oz package of frozen spinach in the microwave. . While the spinach is defrosting, I heated up four tablespoons extra virgin olive oil on medium high heat. Level 5 on a 1 to 8 scale. Then I put in the onions. I also put in about a teaspoon of sea salt, black pepper, chili powder seasoning, and one teaspoon of turmeric on the onions. . Next, I cut open the bag of frozen spinach. I put it in the pan with the onions. Then I put a little bit of water to deglaze the pan to make a sauce. Probably put about four tablespoons of water. The flavor was okay but I wanted to add some meat to it. So I added two slices of turkey bacon. Added one more tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to the turkey bacon. Cooked them for about 7 minutes. Flipped them twice. Chopped them up and mixed them in with the greens. Then also added in about two to three teaspoons of lemon juice to give it like a tomato or acidic flavor. Acid goes good with greens. . Done. Hope you enjoy this recipe. . .
