Alfred Burke creeps around uncredited, as mysterious chauffeur Heinrich, in 1963 thriller The Man Who Finally Died

#fave spotting #alfred burke #the man who finally died #public eye #frank marker #@thisbluespirit #(i know you like to see his face) #alas he has no closeups #and as mentioned isn't even credited‚ tho his character is called Heinrich in dialogue #actually quite a lot of the cast go uncredited in this‚ even those (like alfie) who have more than one scene and get actual dialogue #just the key players are named in the opening titles #like quite a few other british films of this era this was based on a short tv serial‚ also written by the films writer Lewis Greifer and #produced by ATV in 1959; of that series the only returning cast member was Nigel Green‚ who'd actually played the role Alfie #does here on tv‚ but was promoted to a slightly larger supporting part for the film. according to wiki (ikr‚ but why would they lie..) the #series actually exists in the archives in its entirety! alas.. we'll probably never get to see it‚ particularly now network have gone #speaking of‚ i had actually seen this before some years ago but when the news came thru about network this was one of the things i decided #to try and pick up before the stock is all gone; i was tempted to the blu ray release both for the chance to see Alfie in hd (albeit #briefly) and bc one of the extra features is a fascinating sounding episode of Drama 64 starring Stanley Baker #more on that i suspect when i get round to watching it

Ungeziefer Greifer (German: Vermin Claw)

Though not quite as skittish as Mauzhertz, Ungeziefer Greifer are still relatively quick to run away from a fight, particularly if they encounter Grimms, whom they fear greatly. At close range, they can be quick enough to land a bite on an adversary, but they will still run away after doing so. They often find work in subservient roles to others who are more powerful than they are, such as Blutbaden, and they are quite loyal to them. If they come across information that is pertinent for their supervisor or leader to know, they will not hesitate to run off and disclose it to them; as such, it is probably not wise to expect Ungeziefer Greifer to be very good at keeping secrets, though they are straightforward and honest, albeit in a bit of a duplicitous manner at times.

you respawn. instantly you and your friends are picked off AGAIN. you respawn. you all try running towards where you think the shot is coming from. you and your buddies get killed once more. it wasn't the sniper though. this time it was the posse members you were attempting to grief. coming from all sides. when one of them doesn't kill you, its the sniper. some of you start running slippery bastard. it does nothing. the whole posse is stocked up with explosive rounds and dynamite arrows.

once more the sniper gets you all in rapid succession. you parlay and leave session.

Idk how much you know about fit’s 2b2t lore specifically but id like to think that the time that fit dies and sees phil is when he was killed by popbob

Tdlr for if you dont know his lore: popbob was a really famous greifer who fairly early on into fit’s stay on 2b2t found fits location by using lightning strikes. Attacked him while he was just fishing at his little fish shack of a house, successfully killed him and griefed his base. This is one of things that fit said has stuck out in his memories of 2b2t and partially influenced his more nomadic lifestyle

Rumors are swirling around London town.

There is a rumour going around in London that Charles has retained a divorce lawyer for Hasbeen. His name is Robert Stephan Cohen and represented Melinda Gates in her divorce. His offices are in Manhattan. I don't know if this is true, but I heard it in London over the weekend.

I heard divorce rumours when I was back home in Yorkshire around Christmas, this seems more feasible. Robert works for Cohen, Clair, Lans, Greifer & Simpson; he personally practices in NY, CT, FL, GA, IL, NJ, WA, MO & internationally AND they have Shannon Simpson as part of their firm; she was based in London for 2 years and still practices there - so I wouldn’t be surprised if (the Royal Family) have her on retainer  just in case. It’s not uncommon to retain bulldog attorneys when you can afford to keep them in your pocket. Heavy hitters like Simpson & Cohen who represented Melinda Gates are important because if they aren’t on BRFs retainer then they can be hired by Meghan. Given that they were able to secure Melinda 76 Billion USD, it’s in the (Royal Family's) best interest that they have Cohen on their side.

Slight disclaimer that I did most of this back in the olden days of 2021 when 3rd Life was the only life series installment, and it wasn’t known for sure whether or not any more seasons would be made. I also unfortunately have not watched anything after Last Life, so I don’t really know The Lore past what I’ve made up.

The general idea was to write a play-by-play of the actual Third Life events, except the timeline spans multiple years rather than days/weeks. With the characters all starting out in their late teens to late twenties and ending about ten years later. There would be heavy focus on the world before the borders went up. As in, there used to be a functioning society that fell into ruin and division after years of civil war, and as punishment (and to cover up their own crimes), the Administration of the server (the equivalent of a governing body irl) basically locked everyone away and threw out the key.

The events that happened before the borders would obviously inform the characters’ decisions throughout their time trying to survive in the 3rd life map, as they all came from different backgrounds in the somewhat dystopian world they used to live in. Mainly in that a few of them were much closer to privilege than the others, and prejudice against one another must be overcome from the very start if they want to live through the first winter, and then the rest of their lives.

I won’t go into the specifics of every single character’s pre-game lives because that would be entirely exhaustive (though I may on a separate post if there’s interest); but I will give a little run down of Scott’s deal since his is the most different and he’s also the one that post is about.

Scott is not actually from the 3rd Life server (servers would be kind of like planets or something). He’s from another world which was taken over by greifers. It is subtly implied that this world used to be the Origins SMP map (this dates me significantly, I was not lying about this all being conceptualized in 2021), but it is unrecognizable now. He was twelve when the world was destroyed and taken over, and as a powerful Origin, he had to hide his identity as to not be press-ganged into working for the greifers. Hence the veil and the modest clothing. Eventually, when things went even more to shit, his father “broke the game” and forcefully sent Scott out of the world; and in a stroke of cosmic unluckiness he landed in the Third Life map when he was sixteen. Although much to the confusion of certain characters, Scott actually seems to like it there better.

So that’s the abridged version! Tldr I guess I would advertise it as a survival thriller with some political drama aspects.
