Can’t believe how much of the Marina related stuff tonight was straight out of a fanfic...the way Maya was actually panicking in the cave because she found out about the lockdown and thought Carina got hit by a car, she literally couldn’t focus on anything else but her wife. She then ended up running literally to the hospital to go and see and when she finally did, the look of relief on her face. 😭 I wish the interaction was longer and we got a hug out of it but I’m hoping next weeks scenes will give us a little more. I miss them and need them to get their act together and kiss and make up. ❤️

Also the way Maya was gushing about how Carina brings lives into this world and then talking about how scary it was to hear about the thought of her in danger and then Ben telling her that’s how their wives feel every day...amazing. I just really hope we eventually see Maya and Carina talk about all these things they’re discussing with others because it’s so long overdue.

Station 19 and Grey's thoughts from 4/13:

Getting a Marina kiss and a potential Kaimelia breakup in the same week is just... A lot.

I saw a TikTok this morning, where someone mentioned that there's been no development for Kaimelia and this is literally the exact same thing that broke them up last season. I wish I remembered who said that, because like.... I agree wholeheartedly (if I find the TikTok again I'll edit this and credit the creator). Why keep the relationship going at all, especially after not having Kai in the majority of the season?

I'd rather see Amelia spiral about losing her sisters, if we have to see her spiral at all. I love when Grey's tackles non-romantic relationships that their characters have, and so much of Amelia's arc is about found family. Why add romantic problems on top of that?

Why can't Grey's (and shondaland in general) come up with a reason for couples to break up other than the children issue? Literally all of their couples go through this. Be a little more creative please.

"We only work because we're long-distance." Just because it's true, doesn't make it hurt less. That line hurt so much. Again, why do we have to go down this path???

From a logical standpoint, I can't see a way out of this that actually makes any sense. Children aren't something that people can or should compromise on, and frankly careers aren't either.

When Richard gave Maggie the replica of the bench, i actually fully started crying. I know most people hate Maggie but I love her and she meant so much to Richard. That moment just... it got to my emotions lol.

That Maya and Carina kiss felt so good. The writers have (thankfully) been doing a great job of getting them back together slowly and letting them take their time. I'm loving it.

I also loved Maya talking to Carina about the photos Dixon gave her. Even if you're taking things slow, you can't quite erase everything about your past relationship, and she needed to talk to her wife. And, it shows Maya's new willingness to communicate AND that she's doing well enough now to go about things the right way.

I'm so, so glad we're getting Maya and Andy back this season. Their friendship was one of the best things about the early seasons and I'm glad that Maya has someone in her corner besides Carina.

I'm so glad Travis dropped out of the mayoral race. I honestly would have been so sad to see him leave the station and not be a firefighter anymore. I hope Dixon loses.

Ross and Sullivan are just... ugh. I mean, him leaving in order to be able to be with her publicly shows a lot of growth in character for him. And I like that. But both of them just get on my nerves (Ross with her hypocrisy and Sullivan with....... so many things). I hope there's more character development in store for both of them so that I can get on board with this.
