Merry Christmas🎅🦌and happy holidays☃️❄️ to all of you guys! How was it?⁣ .⁣ Isn’t it weird how FaceTime, Zoom and video chatting feels normal now? 🎦We’ve had nine months -- long enough to gestate a child -- 👶to get used to communicating this way. 💬⁣ .⁣ This morning, opening gifts with @queenhorsfall and our son over Facetime 📱felt great despite the time difference between Seattle and Germany. 🕚🕗We mirrored them onto the TV 📺and it was almost like being together. The only thing missing was sitting down together for breakfast!🍳🥓☕🧇⁣ .⁣ This afternoon we did a short visit with my 96-y.o. mother-in-law. 👩‍🦳She seemed glad to see us. She still has all of her marbles and sense of humor. We should all be so lucky! 🙏⁣ .⁣ This fall we became fans of The Mandalorian. 🚀Have you seen it? I'm not a Star Wars 🌌fan but I fell in love with “Grogu” aka Baby Yoda, so our youngest son gave me a Baby Yoda doll a Christmas. 👽The cats weren’t impressed. 🐾🐾 I’ve been saying I think Grey looks like Grogu when I flatten his ears. Do you see a resemblance in the last photo?⁣ .⁣ Whether you had an in-person Christmas 🎄with friends or family 👪👩‍👧‍👦or a virtual visit with loved ones 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👧‍👦, I hope it was great!👍⁣ .⁣ And I hope you and the people in your “pandemic pod” have stayed healthy. 😷I feel blessed and I hope you have been, too.
