I've always rooted for Schmico to be endgame. Although I have usually been more on Nico's side, I have also acknowledged when his behaviour in S16 was wrong and always wanted him to come back, apologise, and fix things with Levi. Which is what sort of happened eventually, as we saw.
But now, in the present circumstances, I would never want him to come back for Levi. It's okay if Levi has met someone else — that's his business; good for him. But if Providence was so kind as to let Nico stans know that he, who seemed to have vanished into thin air post S18, was actually travelling with the Seattle Mariners, then I want that to be his happy ending. His dream job, which he finally decided to go after again.
Because, this time his decision didn't stem from selfishness, it clearly came after coming to terms with the fact that he would never be good enough for Levi, no matter what. He had stayed around a while, probably in the hopes of Levi apologising for his actions and asking to get back together, but that was never going to happen, of course. Instead of an apology, what came his way was guilt-tripping and wrongful blame. So I am proud of the fact that he chose self-respect over everything else and left to pursue his goals!
Might just be my opinion, but post S17 Levi is not worth fighting for or chasing after (from Nico's perspective.) He had subconsciously moved on from Nico a long time ago, and that's why the second break up came out of nowhere, like a tight slap to our faces. He has been pretty much okay with not having Nico in his life, despite the fact this separation was a result of his own actions. S14-17 Levi was a gem to me. But this new Levi, whoever he became for whatever reason, is not someone I want for Nico.
Does a teeny tiny portion of my depressed heart still secretly wish for a miraculous Schmico endgame? Yes. But not at the cost of Nico's dignity. Do I believe this is practically still possible? Nope, not at all. So if I dream it were to happen, the only version of it I would accept is if Levi went to wherever Nico is to get him back, not the other way around. Because I don't want Nico to walk away from a career that brings him joy, back to a world full of unnecessary drama where nobody understood or respected him. Nico and the Mariners is the endgame I never knew I wanted, but it is something I can learn to live with.
As far as Levi is concerned, let me be honest: I stopped caring a long time ago. I gave up on him and Grey's Anatomy entirely after what he did to Nico; due to his embarrassing lack of remorse even after recovering from the trauma of losing his patient Devon. So if he is moving on with this Carlos person, although I won't ever like them together, my sympathies lie with Carlos. I hope he is luckier than Nico in proving his worth and living up to Levi's unrealistically high standards of love. Whether that happens, or Levi lowers his standards, or alternatively this too goes for a toss and a third new relationship is on the horizon — it's a circus I won't be bothered about because my Nico is not among the clowns in it.
So long, Schmico. We had a good run for 3 seasons. Hopefully, this pain will wither away some day (it's been a year since it all went downhill!) and only the good old times will stay on in my memories forever.

Btw since 911 is on hiatus I decided to catch up on all the other shows I've been neglecting and the first one was Grey's anatomy.
I stopped in the first part of S17 because the whole C0V1D storyline was too overwhelming) and now I decided to catch up with the latest 2 seasons.
I do have a bunch of opinions about the characters, but I will be talking about Amelia because honestly she has been my point of interest in Grey's since season 14. Actually It's kinda funny how my two current favorite characters (Bobby from 911 and Amelia from Grey's) are addicted in recovery (Richard could be there too if the writers didn't make his sobriety a comedic relief sometimes. At least Amelia's sobriety is taken seriously in my opinion)
So talking as someone who loved Amelink in S15-16 and got really sad over how they ended, it's beyond me how it's obvious Amelia is miserable through season 17 dealing with that domestic life. It's so obvious and yet people still chose to completely ignore that when blaming her for how her relationship with Link ended.
"It was the healthiest relationship she had and she ruined it"
Okay, at some point it really was the healthiest relationship (S15-17) she ever had, but it wasn't anymore. That happens, things change. It wasn't helathy anymore the moment she began to feel miserable and wish to drink every night and hide all that feeling from Link, because she knew he loved that domestic life of a house full of kids they were obligated to have due the lockdown. Then the whole part with Link proposing countless times even when Amelia let it very clear she did not want to marry, didn't really help. Like Instead of getting a clue on why he got the first "no" and even bother to ask the reasons, Link just kept proposing hoping she would have changed her mind, even proposing into someone's else marriage ceremony (???).
Also if we're being honest it's not a secret Amelia never wanted that that life for herself as she ran from her fiance in L.A and she ran from Owen because of that "house full of kids" matter. She did co-parented Leo and Betty after her divorce with Owen, what helped her to mature enough by the time she gave birth to Scout, but being able to handle that life isn't the same of wanting that life again.
If we are being frank Scout was completely an "accident" and neither Amelia or Link had any views of being such a serious couple until her pregnancy, they basically only got really together because of Scout. So, they didn't even have the time to figure out what they wanted individually before getting together, and then living together is what really played the effect of them diverging in their views of what they wanted for their life.
Amelia could have communicated better her reasons ofc, but if we think about it she chose to cut it off the relationship instead of deluding Link into "playing a role" in a life she realized she didn't want for herself, and there is no wrong on that. She chose to let him go so he could live that life with someone else.
As Amelia answered perfectly to Jo's (not very appropriate) question of "how do you let go from perfect (Link)?"
Link wasn't perfect for her.
Then we have the whole thing with Kai... Honestly I'm still fomenting my full thoughts on it, I do love the NB representation and definitely didn't like they broke up in S19, but I can't say I'm not appreciating Amelia having sometime alone.
She jumped from Owen to Link and then to Kai with no breath between each relationship at all so it's probably the first time in a while her character is alone out of a romantic relationship and I'm appreciating that fact because it opens space for her to grow more like she has been growing since S14, but I do hope Kai come back at some point.

hot take: CM Evolution would have worked better had there been 12-13 episodes in season 16 instead of 10
before anyone complains why we need more episodes of cm despite the season getting progressively terrible, hear me out: This season has been so reliant on having a more serialized storyline and it works in a way that the unsub is fleshed out at the cost of giving the BAU, the “actual” main characters any decent characterization. An extra two or three episodes could allow the writers to give the main characters a chance to shine, being properly developed and taking a break from the dark and heavy storylines. More episodes means less focus on Elias and more on the team’s personal lives and family bonding moments as well as some levity and lightheartedness, which could help balance out the bleak subject matter and serious tone in the rest of the Sicarius storyline. And with the Sicarius storyline, an extra episode could also help the storyline flow naturally, without having to worry about certain cases and subplots feeling rushed or underwhelmed and charcters being being developed. Plus, this tends to happen to shows where the first season has a short episode count with the next season onwards having longer episode counts (grey’s anatomy, the office US, abbott elementary, the csi revival etc) so it’s possible for cm evolution to have a longer episode count in s17, though considering it’s on a streaming service, the chances of an extended episode count is slim to none
That said, this could work but only if the writers really, really, really want to make an effort to put more focus on the main characters and their personal lives outside of work. Sadly knowing what Messer and the writers are like, they’re more likely to add unnecessary fillers and random gross unsubs instead of developing their main characters more in said extra episodes
these are my personal thoughts on this, I know with how things are going, more episodes for this hot garbage is “unnecessary”, but I personally feel that the season wouldn’t be this way had there been an extra episode or two to help flesh out the storyline and characters more. Season 15 was able to balance things out with the Lynch storyline and the characters’ personal lives within 10 episodes and even then, it had some flaws like Tara and Luke being underutilized, lack of buildup in Garcia’s departure from the BAU and Lynch being an underwhelming big bad, and Cat Adams making one more appearance

Was just watching parts of the Derek/COVID episodes of Grey’s Anatomy S17 earlier today, and y’all. How amazing would it be if the final episode ever was a flash forward to Meredith dying of old age surrounded by family and friends, going back to Seattle Grace, meeting up with Derek, Bailey, Lexie, Sloan, Addie, Maggie, Weber, all the other besties & MAGIC (all five of them), and they watch as Zola rounds on a patient:
“Hi, I’m Dr. Zola Shepherd. I’ll be taking care of you today.”
Meredith holds Derek and Cristina’s hands, and they all just smile at her like, “Yeah. That’s our little badass.”

As someone who watched Grey’s Anatomy for the absolute majority of my life, has rewatched S1-10 countless times and who can literally not remember a world without that show: I might just pretend the show ended after season 17.
Sure, I hate Teddy and Owen together, sure, I wanted Amelia and Link to be endgame, but: I can live with it. I can live assuming Hayes and Meredith had the amazing slow burn romance they deserve and lived happily ever after, I can live pretending Megan Hunt, waste of screen time personified, never came back, I can live pretending Nick Marsh doesn‘t exist. I can be at peace.
Also: S17 was a solid final season. Meredith reuniting with all of her dead loved ones would have been a perfect way to lead up to the ending of the show. (Of course, I would have liked a good version of S18 to be the last season, but still.)
I know TV writers don‘t really owe us anything, but I am honestly so tired of making up my own endings, I wish I didn‘t have to do it with the one show that I had completely committed myself to. I wanted to be there til the end, I really did, but this ‚entertainment‘ is actively making me unhappy, so what‘s the point?

I don’t really watch Station 19 except the crossover episodes when I’m binging Grey’s Anatomy, but especially in s17 of Grey’s and at the very least s4 of S19, Shonda really said “WHO is going to stop me?” and then didn’t hold back on addressing shit like ACAB and BLM directly on screen. A forever icon and force of nature

I’m sorry but in my opinion they are really fucking up by making Station 19 mandatory to watch Grey’s. They really caught the sex trafficker and got DeLuca stabbed and I wouldn’t even know that if I hadn’t caught the last few minutes of Station 19??

I urgently need Mark Sloan to give Meredith a pep talk as a member of the dirty mistresses club and tell her to fight and stay for the kids because he couldn’t stay with Sophia and also that could possibly mean we could for once see Lexie and Mark happy as they fade into the distance walking with each other with them getting their really deserved happy ending
