It’s bad enough that he has to have his arms covered. It’s worse that it doesn’t seem to do shit.

Eiselcross is fucking cold. Not the kind of cold they’re used to; the wind on a desert night or the damp of a winter rain that lingered too long in the hollow. This cold burrows into his flesh, even through his right arm which could barely feel anything anymore.

“You okay, buddy?” Dorian comes up beside them, perfect fucking hair somehow catching the wind just right to not blow into his face.

Ashton shook his head. “I’m not fucking built for this. Everything about me craves heat. I know we need to do it…” They glance at Orym, bundled in furs at the head of the group, moving steadily along one step at a time. “…but it fucking sucks. Fearne did a thing, but it wore off pretty quick, and I can’t just ask her to keep doing it. I mean, it’s fine; not really that much worse than the day-to-day, y’know.”

“You don’t need to play the tough guy act for me; I’m not cut out for this, either.” He stops abruptly, and Ashton comes to a stop beside him. “Thought I could try a thing, too.” The wind suddenly shifts, and it’s not quite warm, but certainly a little closer to comfortable. “I kind of feel bad that I can’t cover everyone with this but I should be able to keep it up for the two of us as long as you stay close.”

“I mean, Chet used to live in a place like this, Fearne’s half covered in fur and connected to the fire plane, and those two manage to keep each other warm, somehow.” He looks at Orym again but doesn’t need to say what they’re both thinking; that he won’t stop until it’s impossible to keep moving.

Scanlan drags Keyleth with him to go see a show. Before it starts, Keyleth meets Vex, who happens to be the lead singer and bassist for the band in question. And they both may just fall a little bit in love in that moment.

Reccer Says: It is so cute! Keyleth is perfectly awkward and you can really feel just how hot Vex is lol. And Vex's strategy for finding Keyleth again is fun!

Quay’s reflection on the state of their relationship, the mistakes he’d made along the way, how deeply he loves Laerryn, the cultural differences between them and the misunderstandings because of them, all just *chef’s kiss*

And we have two reccs for; Fjord Tusktooth: Pact of the Sugar Baby by Demenior (23,529 words, Explicit) Pairing: Fjord/Original Male Character Warnings: None

In order for the Nein to successfully pull of a heist, Fjord sets about seducing the lord he and his friends are robbing. He’s exactly Fjord’s type, though there’s one complication; he’s a dragon. And it takes Fjord a little while to catch on. A heist gone wrong leaves Fjord seducing the Nein's mark - and that mark is a dragon.

Reccer 1 Says: Excellent Fjord characterization, a delight of an OC, chaotic Nein shenanigans, and extremely hot dragon sex make this fic (and the entire series) an extremely fun read. Highly recommend reading all of it, the way the relationship between Fjord and Gairdneri develops is especially wonderful, imo. Reccer 2 Says: This fic is SO fun! Demenior does a fantastic job capturing the voices of all of the characters, and the sex is hot too.
