is it just me

im really not a fan of all the carl smut content, such as the "x reader's", "cegan", "grimescest", etc, esepcially the ones being created and read by grown adults, and especially the ones who put a significance on carl's young age or age gap with the person.

i'm not a fan of adults who enjoy nsfw of the underaged characters, or somehow age them to barely legal 18. i keep coming across them and it makes me not want to look up his name.

Also, recently there was a carl x negan p*rn video going around which is absolutely wild considering there had to be a demand for this to be made in the first place! Real actors playing carl and negan doing the deed!! Blows my mind how that's even allowed, consdering carl was underage and chandler was underage while filming The Walking Dead!!

I just want Carl stress biting Rick, Carl will come out of nowhere and bite him on the arm or if he’s feeling extra stressed the neck.

Hell the rest of his body isn’t even safe, Rick will wake up from a nap and groan when he feels the bites because that means his son visited him.

Everyone is so used to it that they don’t even blink when Rick comes out of his room or in from outside and he’s covered in new marks. Any new comers only stare for a second before shrugging, it’s the apocalypse who cares if a son starts biting his dad when he’s stressed to all hell and back.

In that version, Rick could’ve protected him. In that version, Rick wouldn’t have to stare at him for hours, drink in hand and standing in the doorway like a creep, just to fall asleep at night.

He presses a kiss to Carl’s temple, tucks his hair out of the way and smooths a thumb over the jagged scar tissue on his forehead.

Maybe there was a version of Rick that never made it out of the hospital. Shane and Lori went on raising Rick’s son, Rick’s precious baby as their own. Maybe Carl would’ve been better off with his mother, safer with a man who wasn’t so frayed at the edges. Rick’s love for Carl, his goddamn addiction to his kid made him weak. And Carl knew it, too.

The kid shifts in his sleep. Rick presses a gentle hand between his shoulder blades. He can feel Carl’s heartbeat through his warm sleep shirt. (It’s one of Rick’s old t-shirts. His baby boy wears his clothes and that’s exactly how it should be.)
