Multiverse Character: Ichabod Crane

Tall—reaching to 190 cm—and lean, he is known for natural talent in teaching, singing and dancing. According to teachers and student parents, he has strange magic to change boring choir concert into enthusiastic and lively gospel performances, making students listen to him, and is always swarmed with his admirers. During weekends, he would help the single mothers by spending time with their children and singing for their babies, hence earning positive reputation. Female students would occasionally flirt with him, because he was unlike any “jocks” or “inferior wannabes” for they are fallen by his mature demeanor. Children likes to hear a lot of ghost stories, urban legends, and cautionary tales from him. Currently, he is married to Katrina van-Tassel. According to the story of him and his wife, Ichabod was once Katrina’s music teacher during her teenage years and she had enormous romantic feelings for him, dumping the jock student Brom Bones for him and would blush whenever Ichabod compliments her. Additionally, it was Katrina who asked him out when they met again after her graduation from university as her father approved of him. In Hey Arnelle AU: In episode “Hots for Teacher”, Ichabod Crane has become a substitute teacher for music/drama in behalf of Mr. Simmons and Arnelle—in her Freshman Year—has developed a huge crush on him. She would write his names on her music notebook and gets embarrassed when her friends teased her of her crush on Mr. Crane. Though, Helgo doesn’t show distaste towards the teacher as the said man appreciates his artistic talent. Eventually, it is revealed that Ichabod is married to a wealthy Dutch beauty Katrina van Tassel. Katrina bonded with Helgo as she confessed she loved her husband ever since she was his high school student. In Fairly OddParents AU: Mr. Crane was introduced as Mr. Bickles’ best friend during their school years and has willingly accepted the offer to help Dimmsdale school in drama production. Admiring him, Timmy made a wish that Mr. Crane becomes a permanent teacher in Dimmsdale. When her wish was granted, she struggled to find a right timing to impress him as he was usually surrounded by his admirers—female students & teachers, even the single mothers! Jealous Tristan, Vernon, and other boys—angry that Ichabod has stolen Timmy’s attentions—formed their organization to get rid of him. Alarmed, Timmy sabotaged them while successfully canceled her wish. When she admitted she likes him, Mr. Crane kindly thanked her for enjoying his class and she blushed as he kissed her hand in polite manner, provoking the boys’ jealousy. In Courage the Cowardly AU: Ichabod Crane was introduced as Uncle Fred’s schoolmate. He was in Middle of Nowhere to teach teenage choirs a song for Halloween and encountered Courage who found his missing musical notes. Recently, there has been incidents where people were disappeared without a trace except pieces of pumpkins left behind. Learning the legendary horseman was targeting Ichabod Crane, Courage decided to make a trap for the Headless Horseman, only to reveal it was Brom Bones who was jealous of Ichabod’s marriage to Katrina. Seeing his fair, Uncle Fred proceeded to trim all of Brom’s hair. In Grimm Adventures of Billie & Manny AU: Mr. Ichabod Crane has become a music teacher in Endsville and has gained huge popularity as most attractive teacher, much to Mindwell’s dismay. Brom Bones was portrayed as PE teacher who has known Ichabod Crane and was bitter about him married to Katrina. When the Headless Horsemen led the army of pumpkin-headed/headless zombies, Ichabod displayed a surprising combating skills, defending Endsville against them as his enemy the Headless Horsemen yelled “WHAT THE FUCK?! HE’S AN EMO! HE’S A TWINK!! KILL HIM!!”, but all his army were permanently dead. Grima was impressed as her boss was thinking of recruiting Ichabod Crane as new reaper if he passes away. In Camp Lakebottom AU: Ichabod Crane has a cameo appearance as camp choirs critic with connections to recording company. When Jorah and Sully’s choir team performed, he wasn’t impressed with it due to their lack of musical talent. However, when Mackenzie, Sakurako and Gregory’s team performed, he was satisfied with their passion and talent, thus, announcing the Camp Lakebottom as winning team of Camp Choirs competition. In Gravity Falls AU: According to this universe, Ichabod Crane was actually named after his ancestor who served in US Army during War of 1812 along with Pines Twins’ ancestor. Dipporah has developed a crush on him when he was teaching teenage choirs of Gravity Falls for the Pioneer Day, but was devastated to know he is married. In Danni Phantom AU: Ichabod Crane work as music teacher in Casper High, gaining popularity as attractive individual. Danni considered him as second attractive adult next to Vlad Masters. Noticing her singing voice, Ichabod offered her a solo part for the choir. However, as the Fright Knight continuously disrupt the students’ rehearsals fighting Danni, new masked ghost hunter in motorbike showed up. Danni was surprised it was none other than Ichabod Crane, archenemy of Fright Knight who would nearly gets successful in exorcise the ghostly knight. In As Told By Gin AU: Ichabod Crane work as music teacher in Lucky High. He became Carly’s crush when he overlooked her harmless yet practical jokes while complimenting her drumming skills. Also, he teaches Curtis, Mir and Miki with their chorus/vocal lesson after school. Though, Curtis pouts in jealousy when Gin blushed by Mr. Crane’s compliments. In Spongebell AU: During working hours, Octavia fell in love with Ichabod Crane who helped her up when she nearly hurt herself falling on a floor. She becomes more attracted to him as both share love for music as they become friends. While Larry was heartbroken by this, William was insanely jealous and attempted to sabotage the music teacher, believing Octavia will stop liking him once he “no longer able to sing”. However, William was brutally beaten up by Katrina, Ichabod’s wife. While heartbroken of this discovery, Octavia remained friends with Ichabod. It is further revealed that Ichabod loves the burgers, he become Mrs. Krab’s favorite customer. In An, Ann & Anny AU: As substitute teacher of Peach Creek High, Ichabod Crane has become a most popular teacher as An, Ann and Anny admire him, developing a crush much to Rolf, Kevin, the Kanker Cousins’ dismay. An attempts to impress him by carrying his heavy books, Ann tries by getting perfect grade in his class, while Anny does by trying to look physically attractive. However, they were disappointed once they realized he is married to a beautiful woman Katrina Van Tassel. In Disney Retelling AU - Legend of Sleepy Hollow: Setting in modern times, it takes place when he was hired as teacher in Sleepy Hollow High. Beloved by students of Elementary to High school years, he become a popular queen bee Katrina’s crush, much to Brom Bones’ jealousy. Then, it is revealed that Ichabod Crane is a believer of superstitions and legends. The episodes most likely shows Brom Bones attempt to sabotage or humiliate Ichabod Crane in order to taint the teacher’s popularity and have Katrina for himself, but always ended up have his plan foiled by every circumstances. In Spy X Family AU: In the universe of Spy X Family AU, Ichabod Crane is a music, performing arts teacher in Eden College. Formerly, he was a tutor of Eden college mothers’ choir and for Demetrius’ opera lesson. When he worked in Eden college, he formed a quick bond with children of Cecile Hall as he has good friendship with Henry Henderson who often compliments “VERY ELEGANT” at his antics. When Damian had a fight with other students to take a solo part in order to impress Anya, Mr. Crane gave him good advices to reconcile with them. When Anya struggled to learn how to dance, he held her up and dances much to her joy and Damian’s jealousy. Later, he was invited to have dinner with Forger’s family, but it was Loid and WISE’s plan to gather information of Desmond family from him. However, Ichabod Crane expressed suspicion as he asked Loid why he keeps asking about Damian and his family instead of his own child’s academic/social/health. Catching his suspicion, Anya told him about her first day meeting Damian and lied that she talked a lot about him to her father. Eventually, Ichabod let go of his suspicion. In human!Beastars AU: In Cherryton Academy, Ichabod Crane is portrayed as music teacher, supervising musical clubs, dancing clubs, and other artistic extra curriculum. When the Drama club is preparing for musical performances, they would ask for his help with soundtracks and songs. Two of Legoshi's roommates Miguno and Durham has Mr. Crane as their homeroom teacher. Legoshi couldn't help but seems similarities and differences between him and Louis; while both are attractive and popular individuals, Louis is more of a man with firm authoritative charisma while Mr. Crane is a soft-spoken and polite gentleman.

Causal: Agnes currently wears a blue-purple sun dress with golden embroidery of the sun and moon. She also wears a pair of black sandals. Other times, she wears a purple short-sleeved blouse with dark blue high-rise jeans and a pair of black boots.

Young: As a child, Agnes would wear a black tunic with silver accents, given to her by Nyx.

El Dorado: While staying with Xocoatl in El Dorado, she wears a white tunic with blue and violet accents and a white skirt/loincloth. She also wears turquoise earrings, a pair of golden arm bands, gold bangles, a gold and turquoise necklace, and two gold rings on her left hand.

Mesopotamian: As Sybella, she wears a white tunic dress with a violet shawl around her. She would have a pair of gold earrings and a necklace.

Egyptian: As Wadjet, she wears a green regal sheath dress with a scale design and a red robe with feathers and hieroglyphic patterns depicting guardianship. She also has a royal blue blindfold that covers her eyes in a crisscrossed way. Her wings resemble a falcon’s and she has what seems like closed eyelids. Her jewelry consists of a golden collar, ornate bracelets, a pair of serpent anklets, and a golden crown that has the uraeus with the Sun on the center.

Hebrew: As Devorah, she wears a long blue tunic with a violet cloak. She also wears a white mitpaḥat, a pair of silver earrings, and wool sandals.

Greco-Roman: As Hecate, Agnes wore black undergarments with a purple cloak. It is attached together with silver ornaments. She is always barefoot. Her physical appearance was greatly altered during this time. She had three faces and six arms. Two of them held a torch in each hand as one held keys and another held a dagger. Behind her head, there is a strophalos.

Baltic: As Gabija, Agnes wore a traditional red Baltic dress with a white shirt and a pair of black shoes. Her necklace is silver and her dress has a fiery movement. Her necklace is actually a grass snake that wraps itself on her neck.

Nordic: As Sassa, Agnes wore a blue hangerok with yellow and white ornaments around it. She also wore a pair of brown leather boots. She often wears a shawl during the harsh winter. During this time, her hair was very long. This allows her to fuse her hair to the floor and the walls of her private longhouse to see the legends of the Nordic Gods without directly interacting with them.

Sol Fertilis: In Sol Fertilis, she dressed as a Gamma Plus. Her clothes are a purple bodice with a tiered skirt, a pair of purple heels, a purple mantilla, and a purple wedding ring. She also wears a golden necklace with an amethyst and a pair of golden earrings. The clothes are from Ivoire, which is a luxury clothing brand. Her hair is braided in a Minoan style and covered in pearls.

Pre-capture: In 1920s Norway, Agnes wears a long, simple white dress with a girdle of vines and flowers. Her hair is braided with lilies of the valley and leaves with a wreath of white water lilies. She is often mistaken as a Skogsrå.

Capture: After being captured, Agnes was forced to wear “Ostanized” conservative clothes. Usually, she had to wear a teal dress with black stockings and black low heels. Her physical appearance deteriorated heavily during this time. Her hair had become stringy, her eyes become glassy, her skin had begun to crack and pale, and appeared malnourished.

Tomb: After her false death, Agnes wore a royal blue court dress made of satin, adorned with golden embroidery. The bodice is fitted with a voluminous skirt, complemented by a matching dress. A mantua in the same hue and adorned with golden embroidery drapes over the gown. She also has black dress shoes that also have gold embroidery. Glockner had her wrapped in Germanic and Old Zandian runes to make sure that she would not be able to move. After years underground, the dress looks tattered.

[REDACTED]: In a certain form, her hair becomes white, while it is burning hot, as her eyes become completely black in the shade where light can not be reflected. It looks like black tears come out of her eyes. The ends of her mouth extend to her ears and fangs form on it. The scars around her torso form to become mouths and have sharp teeth there as well. A pair of falcon wings appear on her back as eyes appear on them. She gains four pairs of horns. Her feet turn into falcon talons. Agnes wears a long purple Mesopotamian dress, which exposes her stomach and legs, and a black shawl. The edges of her shawl have golden linings and onyx. Her nails become black and sharp as if there is poison coming from them. For jewelry, she has a golden necklace with a pendant that has her personal sigil, a pair of obsidian earrings, three golden armcuffs, and a gold bracelet with runes. Finally, she wears a gold crown with the symbols of the moon, including crescents and a full moon, with stars made of obsidian and a long gold chain mail covering the upper portion of her hair.

Personality: Agnes is an aloof, studious, and quiet woman who has years of knowledge and experience. She has shown to others that she is hands-off, considering she rarely, if ever, interferes with the affairs of mortals and it is not uncommon for her to ignore calls for her. This is not the case with her close friends and family. Agnes takes her long-standing position as the Goddess of Magic very seriously as she is why magic exists among mortals. She refuses to interfere or get involved with mortals’ affairs unless it is necessary, such as dealing with inter-dimensional beings, including demons, mortals tampering with the natural order, unauthorized resurrection, and dangerous warping of reality, among others. She is often annoyed at being worshiped since she wants to remain hidden, especially since the 20th century. At the same time, she does not prevent it. Agnes deeply loves Diedrich, despite him being the result of the brutality from Glockner, and deeply regrets not being there in his life. She also wants to be a caring grandmother to the Cuckoos. She is rather cautious towards angels and demons since they are naturally opposed to her. Despite her cautiousness about demons, she is willing to help cambions. She has severe distrust towards any scientist due to the trauma and torture she endured under Glockner. She particularly hates scientists who use their technology to abuse others and is willing to either kill or maim them for that. Agnes is very interested in modern technology as she tends to infuse her magic with her cell phone, TV, laptop, wifi router, etc. Since marrying Xocoatl, she has become happier and more open as she is taking steps to recover from the trauma. She is highly distrustful towards Nergal and does not believe he is capable of changing. However, she cares deeply about Nergina and Aunt Sis, being concerned about their well-being.

A deal with the Ghost King

Part1 Part3 AO3

Bruce was concerned. Last night, the world had been on the brink of destruction. A flaming, Kryptonite meteorite had been on a collision course with Eart. No one was able to handle it, and the League had grown desperate. Many, Bruce included, had brought their friends and families in an attempt to save them. It was then they had agreed to let Constantine summon the mighty Ghost King.

But they had failed. The Ghost King had rejected their offer of souls, and demanded a better offering. The League had scrambled to come up with something valuable enough to please it. But before they could try again, the King had vanished, and the meteorite had been destroyed. After the initial shock and relief had worn off, Constantine had demanded awnsers. Someone had made a deal, but no one knew who. While Batman checked the camera's, Flash asked around if anyone had seen anything. No one had, and the Ghost King's presence interfered with the camera's. A deal had been made with the God of the dead, and no one knew what had been offered. Constantine made it clear that if anyone of the League noticed anything amiss to call him immediatly, and it was well known how much Constantine hates being on call. So Bruce decided to patrol a bit earlier then usual, right after dark. He had been on his balcony, as the sun had just set, casting the city in darkness.

Then the sky was filled with familiar green/blue lights.

Red Hood was following the Aurora Borealis on his bike. Jason had been worried when he realised he and Phantom had forgot to exchange phone numbers, but it seems he has no trouble making his presence known. Jason was sure the whole city could see it! Noticing the light rippled from Gotham cemetery outward (because of course a ghost-themed hero would pick that spot) Jason got there so fast he doubted the Flash couldve done better.

When he parked his bike, Phantom had noticed him and waved. When he floated closer however, he seemed confused. 'Wait, you're the Red Hood?' Jason realised he hadn't been wearing his iconic helmet in the Watchtower, and got a bit nervous. Had Phantom been unaware of the blood on his hands? Suprisingly, Phantom got excited: 'That's amazing! You're my favorite hero!' Jason was suprised: 'Really?' 'Yes! So many ghosts found peace because you avenged them. You're like a celebrity in the Realms!' Not used to the praise, Jason switched topics: 'So where do you wanna go? Honestly, it's kinda late and I don't think much is open now.' Phantom apologises. He wasn't certain his aura would have been visible in the sun. But he came prepared! Holding up a picnick basket, he suggest they visit the park chat so they can get to know eachother a bit better. Jason liked the plan. 'Let's go then, ghost boy.'

GRINCH

(My humanly adaptation of GRINCH^^)

Full Name: Ethan Grinch

Age: Immortal

Gender: Male

Occupations: Holiday Mascot, Monster Celebrity, Krampus’ business partner (both as singer and Naughty Begone Foundation)

Relatives: Max (pet), Martha-May Hoovier (eventual wife), Cindy Lou Hooper (goddaughter)

Interests: Punishing abusive adults and bratty children, Hash brown, solving world hunger (tell NO ONE), Jazz dance, inventing

Character

Ethan Grinch, known as The Grinch or Mr. Grinch, is a “dark fairy” or bitter spirit who despise holidays, especially Christmas. He is also Krampus’ business partner—in both as singer and co-founder of Naughty Begone Foundation—and is occasionally helping him. In previous life, he was once a human born as orphan during Industrial Era of England. The orphanage was too poor to provide every children decent Christmas dinner. With no one to adopt him, Grinch was forced to leave orphanage and work at factories. When returning to help the orphanage, he discovered it was knocked down and replaced with mansion of rich family. Looking for the orphanage family, he wandered. However, he couldn’t find the nuns or the orphans. Discovering abandoned puppy, he named the little one “Max”. But due to the cold weather, they were freezing to death until they were found by Santa Claus, his wife and their son Krampus. Turned into spirits, Grinch and Max were able to reside in the high snowy mountain. However, due to the past, Grinch had never opened his heart to Christmas season.

In Fairly Oddparents AU: While Krampus would go to world tour as famous singer, Grinch would be notified who are the “naughty” adults and children. These informations would give him an opportunity to ruin the Christmas of said people from “naughty list”. Just like “Vick DeVil” sang by Chip Skylark, Krampus had a song named “The Mean One”, dedicated to him. Grinch also occasionally babysits Baby New Year, making sure the baby never cries and sleeps in peace. Martha May Hoovier, the celebrity of Fairy World in this AU, has enormously romantic feelings for him. Eventually, when Krampus got him out of work at Christmas, Grinch was surprised of Martha’s marriage proposal, but he accepted. Much later, according to Jorgen, Grinch and Martha May become fairy godparents of a human girl named Cindy Lou.

In Grimm Adventures of Billie & Manny AU: According to Sado and other reapers, Grinch was described as most anti-social and cruel individual when necessary. When Grinch visited Grima, he doubted that mortal teenagers could ever make her as their legal reaper guardian until he encountered Manny. Both Manny and Grinch take a liking of one another, sharing a lot in common. One of the reapers, named Catrina, is close friend with Martha May, who is Santa’s Toy Factory Worker. Finding the two cute together, Catrina, Billie and Irina would attempt to set them up.

In Courage the Cowardly Girl AU: Unlike Krampus, Grinch wasn’t quite a friendly individual who doesn’t tolerate trespasser. Courage attempted to explain her reasoning in entering his mountain, but Grinch already knew that her entrance in his cave means she asked for his holiday misfortune to be removed from Muriel and Eustace. Grinch made a deal that if she scarified her Christmas season and work for him, he will remove the curse. Learning of his past, Courage received a help from Cindy Lou—the only child spared from Grinch’s grumpiness—to find relatives of orphans he lived with. Due to her dedication and her past as orphan, Grinch decided to set her free before the Christmas Day and lift the misfortunate spell from Eustace and Muriel.

In Danni Phantom AU: Grinch is described as “Bitter Spirit of Holidays” by the Ghost Writer. But Grinch turns out to be Sam’s favorite during his and Krampus’ duo debut. In ghost realm, Grinch resides in same snowy region with Frostbite, hence Grinch has snow/ice powers.

In AAnA AU: Finding Culdesac as perfect place to make many lives’ Christmas season miserable, Grinch spilled the beans to both Santa and Krampus about bullies of Peach Creek. He was seen laughing when Kevin and other popular kids were turned into ugly scarecrows. Although they eventually learned the lesson, Grinch would always wait for another annual chance to crush their Christmas spirit if they began act the same as usual.

In Hazbin Hotel ’n Helluva Boss AU: Grinch is quite popular with the sinners in hell, mostly the ones who have heard stories or myth about him. Alas, he also becomes one of Charlie’s guests in Hazbin Hotel. Grinch bonded with Husk most of the time and didn’t like Alastor invading his personal space. Eventually, Grinch admitted to Charlie that he hated Christmas because it reminds him of his previous life as orphaned mortal who couldn’t get enough money to save the orphanage from demolition and inability to afford decent Christmas dinner/gifts for the orphans. Feeling better, Grinch leaves the hotel but left decent gifts for each staff. At some point, he hired IMPs to murder the corrupted British family of the noble who was responsible for demolition of orphanage he was raised in.

In Caty & Dolly: Caty and Dolly had hold Christmas dearly, but it wasn't because of Santa Claus, Christmas dinner, gifts, or the tree. Shreck and Logan, the respective love interest of the conjoined girls, tried to figure out what is the best gift for them. Eventually, they find out about their childhood Christmas "guardian", reveals to be the Grinch himself. Witnessing baby conjoined twins, Grinch felt sympathy for them and decided to send gifts to them; warm blanket, two pairs of mittens, and two Santa hats. Grinch then MENACINGLY threatened Shreck and Logan he would personally wipe them out of "Nice" or "Naughty" list "permanently" if they ever upset the girls, indicating he has a power to end them.

In Spongebell AU: Grinch appeared as cameo in McKrabs as a customer during Christmas season. Bell's pet cat Gary was able to recognize him as "inhuman", but his gaze were enough to scare off the poor cat.
