Arven x Female Reader: A Paldean Christmas

It was Christmas Eve in Paldea. Though growing up without his parents around, Arven never really celebrated. That’s when you came up with a brilliant idea for the both of you.

School was out for Christmas in Paldea. Nemona decided to spend it with her family; Penny gathered her Team Star friends to spend it at a hotel in Mesagoza; you decided to spend it with your mom back home in Cabo Poco. But Arven had no plans since he had no parents to spend Christmas with.

That’s when you came up with an idea. You didn’t want to see Arven all alone on such a beautiful holiday. You approached him. “Hey, Arven.” you kindly say. Arven looks at you with kind of a sad look. “Hey…” he says. You put a hand on his shoulder and asked, “You okay?” Arven looks down at the ground and shrugs, saying, “Eh, just spending Christmas alone again this year. Without my mom and dad around anymore, it doesn’t really matter to me.”

You weren’t having it. You took Arven’s hand in yours and told him, “Come with me. We’ll spend Christmas back at my home in Cabo Poco. My mom will surely welcome you. She’s heard all about you and would love to meet you. Besides, it’s no fun being alone on Christmas.” Arven looks at you, scratching the back of his head. You then say, “You’ll have a wonderful Christmas with us. I promise.” You kiss him on the cheek, making him blush.

That changed Arven’s mind about being alone. “Okay, I’ll come.” he said. “Thank you.” you said, smiling beautifully at him. Arven managed a smile on his face just seeing you smile. You then halted down a Squawkabilly taxi and you and Arven took it back to your house in Cabo Poco. When you both got to your house, you both entered. “Mom, we’re here!” you called. Mom comes out of the kitchen to see you and Arven. “Oh! Come on in, kids,” she happily says, “make yourselves at home!”

You, Mom and Arven spent some time in the kitchen making dinner. Arven basically helped Mom with the turkey while you made the side dishes. Once everything was done, all three of you got to eating. Everything tasted great. Even Mom enjoyed Arven’s cooking. And she was so proud of you for improving your skills in cooking.

Soon after the kitchen was cleaned up, you all put on your pajamas and you and Arven sat on the couch watching Christmas movies: How The Grimmsnarl Stole Christmas, The Beartic Express, The Delibird Clause and Rudolph The Red Nosed Stantler. Arven was having a wonderful time having to spend it with you and Mom. Of course Mom was in the other room putting yours and Arven’s presents under the tree. You had told her a week in advance what Arven would like and it had been done without Arven knowing.

An hour before midnight, it started to snow outside. You and Arven looked out the window at the flurries falling from the sky. “So beautiful.” you said. Arven chuckles, then says, “Not as beautiful as you, my angel.” Just then, you hear jingling above the both of you. It was Mom’s Skwovet holding a mistletoe from atop the windowsill and chattering. That’s when you and Arven looked at each other with flushed faces. “That sneaky Skwovet.” you chuckle. Arven laughed a little. “Guess we should kiss.” he said, gently pulling you to him and you both lock into a kiss. Then Mom takes a picture of the two of you kissing with the Skwovet holding the mistletoe above the both of you. “That’s so cute, you two.” she chuckled.

Half an hour before midnight, you and Arven got comfortable on one of the couches together; ready to go to sleep. Mom slept on the other one. You knew Arven would want to spend Christmas with you every year now that he got to actually have one. You couldn’t wait to see his face when he sees what he got in the morning brought by “Delibird.” You both fell asleep after quietly whispering to each other,

“Merry Christmas.”

Eddie and Venom gets protected by their Pokemon Trainer s/o

Here it is! The long awaited next part to this! I won't lie that I got taken over by a bunch of different fandoms so Venom got pushed to the side. 2021 was the year that got me into four different fandoms and I tend to fixate on new stuff. Anywho, this can be read gender neutral or preferred gender.

Eddie and Venom were very strong people especially when working together. Whether it was battling with your Pokemon, fighting crime or the stress of everyday, both faced it head on. But there are occasions where the Lethal Protector needs to be protected.

The three of you had left to get some groceries and a few toys for Goomy. One of your Pokemon babysitting the Dragon Type. Even thought of making some macarons and triple chocolate cake as a treat for everyone.

Now ever since the Carnage incident more people with powers or advanced skills began to crop up. Heroes, villains and the in-betweens. They haven't popped up in San Francisco but it didn't stop Venom from being on guard.

Your symbiote partner wanted to fit in some web slinging while you kept all the groceries safe inside your bag. Everything was going fine until a large soundwave came out of nowhere. Venom dropped to the ground barely keeping ahold of Eddie and you.

Things only got worse when they shoved you out of the way from another sound blast. Apparently the Life Foundation wasn't done just yet as multiple agents flooded the area. Your eyes laying a large sound cannon being held by two of the assholes.

Most of Venom had sunk back into Eddie leaving blotches all across his human host. Your other partner wasn't doing so well either as he took a brunt of the impact too. Guns aimed from all directions with the goons drawing closer.

A sight that ignited pure protective fury as you brought your Grimmsnarl alongside one other Pokemon: Houndoom. These bastards were gonna have a grim reminder of this transgression as wounds from a Houndoom's flames shall forever burn in agonizing pain.

Your attackers freaked out which allowed you to take the offensive. First a Smog style smokescreen as Eddie and Venom needed to be taken to shelter so they can recover. Houndoom can handle the Life Foundation until Grimmsnarl came back.

You had snatched a gun from one of the goons and began to shoot behind cover. They tried to start up the sound canon only for Houndoom to melt it with a well aimed Flamethrower. Without the weapon, the scraps of the Life stood no chance.

Eddie and Venom watched the utter slaughter from their hiding spot in amazement. You gunning down armed men with headshots to your Pokemon tearing their opponents apart via claws, flames, teeth or energy. Neither of them thought they would see such a violent side like this. Much less from you.

It didn't take long for the last agent to drop as your third stolen gun ran out of ammo. Venom had healed enough to allow Eddie to walk towards you. "Why didn't you run? You..."

The answer to his question is simple. "We never abandon our own even if we are forced to kill. This isn't the first time this has happened and probably won't be the last." Neither of them had a response as there was a huge story behind this answer.

For now, you disposed of the bodies via Venom and cremation by Houndoom's fire. That didn't mean whoever sent those goons was left without a message. A plastic bag filled with ashes alongside a note. "Never touch what's ours unless you wish to face true hell."

All of you spent that night watching movies and eating comfort foods. One day Eddie and Venom would learn the more darker side of your life. For now, the Lethal Protector deserves rest alongside love as even protectors need to be protected.

And that's it! The Life Foundation is something that won't be stopped so easily. They are a major enemy in the Venom comics but also behind some of our Lethal Protector's dangerous enemies.

As for our Pokemon Trainer, I will be going into their dark secret in a later headcanon. Only thing I can say is that there are some people you can't afford to leave alive even in the world of Pokemon.

Venom 3 might be in the works as well and honestly love to see what they cooked up this time. For Houndoom, I felt fitting cause this Pokemon is based on a hellhound. Hellhounds are mythological creatures that drag souls to Hell and devour them.

Hello hello! If you could please, could you write down any of your headcanons for a male grimsnarl partner? Are they affectionate or not? Are they gentle or rough? Do they like being spoiled?

All Grimmsnarl are male (which would mean they probably reproduce similarly to those lesbian lizards, which I will add as an extra headcanon).

Now as a partner, Grimmsnarl like it’s previous evos, he’s a somewhat malevolent trickster if we’re basing him off of mythological goblins, trolls, bugbears, or Grendel. Now since they’re a Pokémon and only a few are really truly malevolent (Gorgeist comes to mind immediately), I doubt he’d do any pranks that’d go beyond mild annoyance.

Now I definitely see Grimmsnarl as being quite affectionate partners! He seems to be more solitary, but being around his partner and fellow team members would bring out the pack creature in him. I do see him more as on the rougher side though, as he’s easily strong enough to overpower Machamps. It’s more of a “I don’t know my own strength” situation with him. He definitely means well though.

With any mischievous leaning Pokémon I’d definitely say he’s a sucker for being spoiled. Don’t go too far with it though, spoiling a Pokémon like him is quite the big mistake. Trust me, it’ll boost his ego too much and will cause further behavioral issues in the future.

Venom/Eddie Brock with a Pokemon Trainer S/O

Yeah. I decided to take a crack at something different than just stories or ideas. Be warned that I rarely do this stuff. The closest was some shared headcanons with shadowspice119. Anyway, for this page it'll be Venom and Eddie together. The next one with these two will have separate interactions between Eddie or Venom with their s/o. S/O lives in the Galar Region on an island between Crown Tundra and Isle of Armor. Movie or Comics can be applied to this. Can be read as gender neutral or preferred gender.

Venom and Eddie first met you when they unceremoniously fell into your berry garden. The two were found unconscious by your Pokemon partner, a Shiny Grimmsnarl.

Bringing them (or him from what you knew as Venom slept in the man's gut) in was easy. When he woke up was a whole other story.

Seeing a slimy black head pop out of the guy's shoulder and spooked your poor Grimmsnarl warranted an answer.

Quick explanation later. You learned the guy's name was Eddie and his goo or symbiote partner was Venom. And somehow they ended up in your universe.

In return, you explained to them about your world and Pokemon. Both seemed curious moreso Venom who gotten friendly with your Grimmsnarl.

Getting them back home wouldn't be difficult since one of your Pokemon, Lunala, could easily cross dimensions without trouble. So when Eddie and Venom asked to stay around for a bit, you obliged only if they helped around the house and behaved.

The two were quick to adapt in their own way. Eddie took a bit longer to get used to being around Pokemon. Venom was ecstatic since they aren't cooped up as much.

You allowed Venom to roughhouse with your Pokemon but only if they had permission from Eddie and the Pokemon in question. Usually it was your Grimmsnarl that had the honor of going to toe to toe with the Lethal Protector.

Seeing Venom practically cover Eddie like a cloak for the first time was interesting and you weren't ashamed about examining them in this state.

Giving Eddie a list of items and foods for Venom's Phenethylamine based diet almost had the man burst into tears with relief. He did argue with his alien partner when the symbiote began ranting about being starved or forced to eat chickens at some point.

When the time came to take them home, Venom and Eddie were a bit heartbroken about parting ways. So imagine their surprise later to see you walking up to them on their way to Ms. Chen's store.

Just because you were taking them back to their world didn't mean you weren't going to visit. Plus you might have a crush on them but wasn't going to barge into their relationship like a homewrecker.

Only when the feeling was mutual on all sides were you going to leap at chance of dating them. Probably helped that your Grimmsnarl was playing matchmaker behind your back.

That's it! I might do more of these in the future with different characters. I do not take requests however as I do this stuff for fun. And I'm not really confident in my skills to do such.

I chose Shiny Grimmsnarl cause I wanted a Yin/Yang theme between them for this. Eddie/Venom being an antihero that can be kind while their s/o and their partner are the opposite, helpful and kind but capable of breaking the rules should push comes to shove.
