(its not the video itself, but I thought it’d fit the theme of this post.)
So it goes.

(I actually got over my complete fear of it, reverse cowgirl traumatised me so much. I'm thankful I didn’t start rewatching it with the gorey episodes I would have gotten so many nightmares.)
Happy tree friends (we all got traumatised by that, who are we kidding here.)

(I actually don’t have it in me to link the Gore one, I actually can’t handle it. I'm actually traumatised.)
strange hill high (not all the episodes but I still can’t quite get my head straight to watch it again. It’s actually amazing and really funny, I might actually rewatch the show at some point if I muster up the courage.)

figaro pho (Gave my brother germphobia, and gave me SO MANY Nightmares. it’s actually a good show as well, but oh man I could not handle it. Pho is anxiety personified, and phobias. because get it PHO-bia. haha.)
Grizzly tales for gruesome kids, that gave me and my brother nightmares. oh man, honestly abc3 era channel 23 gave me so many nightmares.
I can’t think of anymore I’ll post more when I remember! :D
This is so sad because although many kids are using streaming services, social media and video sharing platforms to watch whatever they want and whenever they want nowadays, the networks never think of others who don't have these options.
What about the children who's parents can't afford these services and devices to watch what they want? Where will they get to watch cartoon and kid shows? CITV had Bratz, Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids and Sabrina the Animated Series while CBBC had 50/50, The Story of Tracy Beaker and Dick and Dom in da Bungalow.
So is anyone else listening to ep5 of The Magnus Protocol and imagining this cinema being run by the creepy old man from Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids?
...Is the Magnus Archives just Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Adults?
I don't like naughty and bratty kids in real life, but I think they doesn't deserve to have their terrible fates. Like Prunellopy. Prune thought that she's absolutely marvellous, but in the fact she's a terrible speller. She then became the human hive at the end of the narrator's story. [TW: DEATH, TERRIFYING]
i literally am never gonna be able to forget that one episode of grizzly tales for gruesome kids where this little girl who spent her whole life pranking people got into the bath but when she was running the bath piranhas came out the tap and started eating her until all that was left was her skeleton and her parents walked in later and found just her skeleton lying in the bath and they assumed it was another one of her pranks so they threw her skeleton in the bin. you have no idea what if felt like watching that for the first time as a child.
Transcript Requests for a British horror cartoon I love
I was searching for Grizzly Tales episode transcripts so I could compare them to the books they were based on, but I couldn't find any existing ones to save my life. Barely even a quote anywhere online!
So I'm asking if there's anyone else who loves this show as much as I do (I'm a HUGE fan of Grizzly Tales) who would want to write some transcripts for seasons 1-8 of the show for me, since I get distracted easily and have a tendency to procrastinate a lot due to my laziness.
You must have good ears and also have good knowledge of British English since I'm a Canadian who doesn't have the best grasp of British terminology, to say the least XD
TL;DR: I can't find any transcripts of any Grizzly Tales so I need someone to make them for me because I'm lazy lol
To sum up:
Hit me up on here or Discord if you're interested; my username is z4yk0t1k on both! :) Many thanks!
Honestly, if American's thought us in the UK growing up on a show that is basically child abuse (Horrid Henry) was bad, wait until they see Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids.
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone in the thunderfam mention this but, a few days ago TAG's host channel CITV was shut down in favour of the new ITVX streaming platform.
Yeah I'm kinda torn up, CITV was a big part of my childhood and produced a lot of great shows like Horrid Henry, My Parents Are Aliens, Art Attack, Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids and of course Thunderbirds Are Go.
I can't help but feel bitter, especially with the reason behind axeing CITV being that "kids are streaming more and watching TV less." Like no shit Sherlock, that's the only place people can access all the shows that ITV removed from air.
Anyways. RIP CITV, you were an icon to so many British kids over the years.
