What if the storyboard sketch made it into the final show? I changed a few things to make it more accurate to the style/timeline of when this was happening. (Ex: Ford's outfit. AU Orphan twins fic. Stan realizes he's legally a foster home, and ends up taking in two broken kids by the name of Dipper and Mabel. It SHOULD be easy, but the fact that they're twins, a fiercely protective brother and traumatized sister, and can't seem to tear themselves apart makes things difficult. Interesting thing about the Hogwarts Legacy thing is that among some of the casual HP fans I spoke to is that they don’t particularly care about the game because it doesn’t have the characters they care about. They didn’t even care for the mysterious beasts films either and gave up on it after the first one. I did manage to show them that the lead dev was a neo nazi though so their interest went from 0 to negative lol

No fucking way??? That explains so much.

And yeah I think that’s becoming the big problem with these works outside of the obvious. It’s like Star Wars in that it tries to invest in new characters but then pussies out and falls back on familiar faces. Notice how the FB sequels are more about Albus Dumbfuck and his boyfriend Grunklestan instead of the actual little character who is supposed to be the lead, Newt? They’re falling back on name recognition to keep people interested even enough there’s not really any good stories left
