Disney Springs ♛ A Disney AU ♛ Belle, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw
Once upon a time, all of our favorite Disney characters lived together in the magical Realm of Ever After, a realm of kings and queens, princes and princesses, dragons and duels, fairies and mermaids, witches and wizards! But one day, the dark fairy Maleficent, the evil queen Grimhilde, and the wicked stepmother Lady Tremaine came together to cast a curse that would destroy the realm. In order to save everyone, the Court of Good Fairies - the Fairy Godmother, the Blue Fairy, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather - joined their magic and transported everyone to our modern world. The catch? Their memories were wiped away. But there is one who managed to escape the spell… who will return to save our heroes and restore their memories?
Who she was in the Realm of Ever After: Belle, Queen of Villeneuve. After the Beast and the castle inhabitants were transformed back into humans, Belle and her new husband sought to repair the kingdom that had fallen from grace in the absence of the royal family. They established schools and libraries throughout the land and brought education and enlightenment to their people.
Who she is in our world: Gabrielle Beaumont. The town’s librarian, Gabrielle Beaumont, is a quiet and intelligent young woman. She loves historical fiction and fantasy adventure books and is especially known for recommending novels by British author Wendy Henley. She is delighted when Henley and her brothers visit the town! Although she occasional has issues with a certain local gym rat, she has no problem putting him in his place.
