Order up! It’s the Rubicon Crossroads menu! Rubicross is my JoJo fanpart, and this was a part of a server event amongst other creators. Between the food and the unique character outfits just for this occasion, this was really fun to make!
Tanqueray Speedwagon’s Tuned Fish:
A lovely seafood dish! Available with a wide variety of sauces, spices, and more, to make it taste juuuuust the way you want it to. Take that, piano!
Guinness Speedwagon’s Hi InfideliT-Bone Steak:
The turf to match the surf, a rather large helping of steak that is sure to taste good, no matter how you slice it. My worst pun to date.
Merlot’s Chef’s Choice:
A delicious* serving of meat* lovingly* prepared* from only the finest* of sources. Please just don’t order it I don’t want to get sued.
*(unverified)
Nico Bourbaki’s Sippin’ on Straight Chlorine:
A seasonal special and cameo from my good friend’s fanpart, Chlorine Delirium! A lemon-lime soda with a positively stunning hue that… huh… wait, is this actually just… chlorine? Uh oh.
Corona Kiddo’s Thnks fr th Brgrs:
Nothing much to explain! It’s a damn good burger and fries, with enough condiments to satisfy anyone. It’s simple and good, enough to take anyone down memory lane!
Victoria Kiddo’s Molten “Fall Out” Lava Cake:
While the ice cream may be cold, don’t let that fool you! The hot fudge and warm chocolate cake of this dessert are sure to cause an eruption of remarkably delicious proportions.
The Rubicon Crossroads:
An unholy vat containing at least every single character’s namesake… that being a type/brand of ALCOHOL, baby! Estimated at a 9000% mortality rate and has slaughtered several gods. Currently brainstorming ways to deliver some to Elon Musk and Ron DeSantis.
Enjoy!

Usually the term "The Lacroix of" is used as a criticism for watered-down and possibly even slightly bitter versions of whatever it's attached to. All in all, when I say it, it's a criticism. Unless it's the Lacroix of beer then it's a complement. Because one of the best things a beer can be is taste as little like beer as possible.

What drinks da2 characters order
In absolute fuck it we ball energy, I am replaying da2 here is a post for any of u who are still here from when I made this blog in high school
Yes this is modern / our world i dont care
Hawke: coronas. No, coors lite. Idk the beeriest college beer there is. Hawke is a ferelden farm boy this dude doesn’t even do mixed drinks he buys 6 packs only. Catch hawke in the club with one of those pitchers of beer thats like 64oz. If he must, whiskey soda(cola), and his go to shots are jameson
Varric: old fashioned is his go to, gin and tonic if he’s slowing down, and guinness if he’s really taking it easy, he doesnt really do shots
Fenris: he’s from tropical tevinter so must be tequila and mezcal, he usually does traditional tequila shots with salt and lime, but he’ll take a traditional margarita, salt rims on everything, he also likes tajin and will do mango if it’s spicy. Wine is a whole other ball of wax but he doesn’t really fuck with anything white or rosè he’d drinks cabs
Isabela: she’s a pirate so she likes rum, rum&coke is her go to, but she’ll do piña coladas, daiquiris, mai tais, and corny stuff like jello shots, blowjob shots, isabela only really likes shots if they’re this big communal event you make everyone do, she doesn’t do shots on her own, she’s the queen of mixed drinks and is low maintenance, if no rum she goes to vodka cran
Anders: white claw queen, trulys, high noons, go to mixed drink is long island iced tea, maybe screwdriver, but he will send things back if they’re not sweet enough and makes a terrible sour face every time he does a shot. This does NOT mean he does not do shots. He just has no preference bc he has no taste for liquor. He will order those ice blended drinks that are gross fake sugary, he drinks artificial shit like green apple flavored vodka, he brings malibu to every house party
Carver: he’s cut from the same cloth as hawke so he also drinks 6 packs. they order gallons of beer at a time and split them often, he’s always sipping mini fireballs out of his pocket as if he’s not surrounded by alcoholics, and he orders hennesy shots flat with no special flair
Bethany: cosmo, lemon drop, sex on the beach, sangria, she rejects beer because of her brothers, but she’ll do whiskey shots with them. she also likes ceremonious shot rounds like isabela
Aveline: ok so she’s obviously not down at the bar getting fucked up with everyone else, she mostly drinks beer and wine, she likes ipa’s and can get surprisingly sophisticated about beer, she doesn’t feel she has the refined palette of good wine choice (but she’d probably pass up many others) if she must order a mixed drink she’ll have whatever her friend is having, and if they’re doing shots she takes them like a pro
Merrill: oh boy this one’s hard. I think they just feed her drinks until she likes one and the ones she picks are so random to them they can’t follow the pattern. In reality, she has a preference for an herbal taste where she’ll like anything that tastes like she’s eating the forest or a garden, gin because it’s piney, garnishes with sage or basil or rosemary but she always eats the garnishes out of her drink whole, and she also likes to chew on the ice afterward. She’s a huge lightweight and gets drunk after two drinks but she really doesn’t mind the taste of them bc she would eat grass so she slurps down many a hard drink and then shes wasted

wanna be pals? I think we’d be good pals. I’m claiming this as my signature: 🍻 because I’m an alcoholic. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else on your page claim it. If so, shit guess I’m #2. (What’s your favorite beer? mine are guinness/corona)
Anyway, you know in car washes when the giant fans blow underneath the car and make the whole thing kinda vibrate and rattle? You think that feels good for a transformer? (yes obviously) Problem is it only lasts a bit so they’re not getting anywhere with it, but that’s the fun part lol
I've never been in a big carwash like that, but I am living for this image you conjure.
A bot in alt-mode repeatedly going through a carwash to get that sweet, tingly feeling of fans blowing against their undercarriage, engine rumbling as they slowly wheel through the wash, already thinking about how they're going to turn around and do it all again.
It's a perfect edging exercise, just a tiny little bit of charge cracking through their slick frame that makes them crave more <3

another schizopost
I was, as the Against Me! song suggests, a teenage anarchist. I read Kropotkin, Le Guin, Bonanno, and several Twitter accounts of dubious quality. These culminated in a state of mind that saw Worm fanfiction as the ultimate revolutionary medium — an infantile disorder indeed. My attempt centered Circus, namely as a means to get away with a winking title: "Panem et Circenses" (although certainly concerns of gender nonconformism were involved as well), and for all its many flaws I believe it grazed lightly against some vast truth of canon, the anarchist core of the parahuman universe. (NB: I am no longer an anarchist. I have nothing against those who are, but let me offer by way of critique a summary of the latter half of my aforementioned fic: due to disorganization, agents provocateur, and a dearth of productive capacity, the state — i.e. the PRT/Cauldron — overwhelms the plucky libertarian Undersiders to a brutal, gory end.)
I introduce this concept of parahuman anarchism as a preface to the primary topic of today's schizopost, which is the nature of the "shard," the passenger, the Corona pollentia, etc. How are we meant to read this quirk of world worldbuilding if, as one ought, we understand the system of triggering-shard-power as metaphor? Are we meant to understand this conflict-causing organ as what Nietzsche would call the will to power, the irrepressible drive toward strength and creation. Or — and this interpretation seems more analytically lucrative considering the Freudian overtones of the text in general — shall we read it as Thanatos, the death-drive, the desire for destruction unto a ceasement of excitation. Indeed, much of the function of powers resembles the psychoanalytic model, especially, as I have alluded to in an earlier post, with regard to the repetition compulsion. This way, we can understand the Endbringers as a form of neurosis, some sublimated trauma unleashed upon the entire world.
However, as much as Worm's Freudianism presents an easy hermeneutical framework, I believe that to understand the full political weight of the text it is necessary to rely upon a concept formulated by French insurrectionary anarchist collective Tiqqun, that of the form-of-life. The form-of-life is (as best as I can understand it; these frogs arent known for concreteness, much less accessibility) that organism which rests beneath whatever predicates (= descriptors or qualities, e.g., mother, worker, socialist, individual, etc.) have been forced upon you. They experience friendship or enmity at the micro scale, community and a constant state of civil war at the macro. This is crucial: civil war is the natural state for the form-of-life — war is its free play.
This helps to explain the so-called cops and robbers dynamic that dominates much of the narrative. Tiqqun understands Empire (= the neoliberal state, for all intents and purposes) as an all-encompassing web of biopolitical tissue. There is no longer a society as such. In lieu of borders there is a customs checkpoint on every block, a Dragon drone beside every streetlamp, a panopticism that would have been unfathomable to the society of sovereignty. In the fissure between the form-of-life and the individual, the ego, there is a cop. (This citizen-cop has an outsize influence on Taylor, as can be seen in her turn toward the Wards, and in her humanistic moralizing more generally.) Empire (in our vocabulary, Cauldron) tolerates these violent crises because that is its wont. The gang war in Brockton Bay represents no threat to Empire/Cauldron because it has achieved utter immanence; there is nothing outside its purview. Panem et Circenses is more accurately rendered as Spectacle and Biopower. The only meaningful challenge to such a status quo comes in the form of Khepri. Tiqqun sees the workers’ strike as ineffectual — only a human strike will do, only the renunciation of the predicate, as in the feminist protests of the seventies: these women were no longer wives, no longer mothers, no longer women. In Khepri’s hivemind can be seen Tiqqun itself, which in Hebrew means rectification. (Remind me to talk more about shards in the context of Lurianic Kabbalah later on.) Khepri is nothing but her shard, Queen Administrator made manifest, and all her acolytes are in this similarly bare state, reduced to their forms-of-life. Khepri against Scion is civil war in its purest form, and only in this way is change possible.

sonny & liam.
Though he meant what he said about not breaking out the blender, there wasn’t any malice in him when it came to liam. (he just really hated making blended drinks.) regarding his friend with a suspicious narrow of his eyes, there was a slight smirk on his mouth that gave away his affection for liam. “Please, as if any other bar in the county would let you through the doors.” he joked as he bent down to the beer fridge. “Any preference? We’ve got coors, corona, and guinness tonight.” he let liam choose instead of just giving him whatever bottle was closest to the front of the fridge. Simply because they were friends. Besides, Sonny was rarely ever in a better mood–at least not at work. “So what brought you in tonight? You got nothing better else to do?”

American here. Age range can play a part of what you order. Younger folks tend to order cheap shit like PBR, Corona, MicUltra, ciders, and craft beers. Also the trend with canned seltzers.
older folks I typically see order Negro Modelo, Stella, Heineken, Guinness, etc… if they aren’t ordering a glass of wine or a martini. They also prefer whatever is on draft.
Thank you so much!! Especially with the age thing, that's really helpful :D
